Mod_weblogic.c Apache DSO for other platforms

With release 5.1 of Weblogic Server, a DSO file was provided
for solaris/Apache to perform strong integration.
I was wondering if:
a)It was possible to get that DSO built for other platforms -- in our case
AIX
b)If licensed users of Weblogic Server could get the source code for that
module
so that they can build it in as required.
The reasoning for a is simple enough -- not everyone who uses Apache also
uses Solaris.
As for b, Apache's rapid release schedule means that security concerns are
dealt with very quickly,
and new releases may need to be installed. If the source code was
available, security concious web
masters would be able to rebuild their server quickly and not have to beg
and plead for an updated
build from Bea.
Integration with Apache and AIX is going to be a strong decision factor, as
we would prefer to keep the application server or server cluster only
indirectly connected to the outside world.
Failing that, does anyone have other solutions for connecting Apache to
Weblogic seemlessly?

  • Same apps free for other platforms but paid for Wi...

Recently purchased a Lumia 920, and quite satisfied so far. But I have observed that several apps/games which are free on other platforms like Android and iOS are actually not free for Windows Phone. For example, the entire Angry birds series is free for other platforms, but they're paid for Windows Phone. What is the reason behind this? And when Microsoft are trying hard to promote their Windows Phone OS, why are they so greedy that they charge for apps/games which are totally free on other platforms?

Contact the developer or MS on that one. Some games and apps would of been free for a time or there is opportunity's when these go free for a certain period.
If  i have helped at all a click on the white star below would be nice thanks.

  • Oracle 10g XE for other platforms

Are there plans to make XE available for other platforms? Can I register a vote for Mac OSX?

Funnily enough Tom Kyte was asked this very question when he launched XE at the UKOUG Annual Conference. His response was that there were plans to extend XE to other platforms but he didn't know the time scales. He did vouchsafe that he had a shiny new G5 waiting for him when he got back, so I can guess he's +1 on your vote.
In practice, if you look at the target for XE - MySQL and MSSQL - Linux and Window
make more sense than launching on Solaris and Mac. But I don't think it will be too long before installs come out for other *nix platforms.

  • WV210 Error message "video for other platform/os" Browser IE 11 accessing remotely "internet"

    Hello,
I have a WV210 that I have setup  with port forwarding on my router.  I am able to access the video internally on my intranet through IE 11 with no issues, but when I try to access the video remotely from the Internet I get the Error " Video for other platform/os.   On chrome I am able to get the video but  I do not have the other options since it is an unsupported browser.  I think the problem has something to do with the video codec being used over the  Internet.  Do you know of a setting i would need to change on IE 11 or an add-on.  or how I can ensure the camera is using one video codec over the other.
I am also using a lenovo laptop on windows 8.1.
    Thanks for your time.

  • When will FaceTime be available for other Platforms?

When will FaceTime be available for other Platforms? Steve Jobs, the CEO of the company at the time, said Apple was working on making FaceTime an Open standard.
With already so many FaceTime enabled devices out there, and with so many financially strapped individuals relying on the cheaper android devices for both their phone and there Internet, opening up FaceTime to all other platforms will make facetime the default videoconference utility. I want to see this implemented for medical calls to nurses and providers in helping them to assess patients from a distance that are unable to travel. Visual/live communication would be a breakthrough.
This can already be implemented with patients who have a iOS devices, or trying to get them to download app that other devices can use....but it is not as seamless as FaceTime. When will this promis be fulfilled?

There are no other options for using FaceTime. GG was referring to other services with a similar functionality such as Skype. Again, none of us here knows what Apple has planned for FaceTime nor when, or indeed if, they will ever open up FaceTime to other developers.
    Regards.

  • WVC210 V1.1.1 - worked fine but now 'Video for other Platform/OS'

I've had this camera for 2-3 years and no problem - now when I connect i get a black screen with the error 'Video for other Platform/OS' instead of a picture.  Could this be an IE 11 problem?  I've been running win7 - dont know when it upgraded from IE10 to IE11
Is version 1.1.1 the latest for this camera?
    Thanks!

I have had the auto update box cleared and still when I opened IE today, 5-29-2014, instead of seeing my normal blank page I get some kind of one time welcome screen that I instantly navigated away from (control issues maybe).
To the point - Even after trying to slacken the IE active x settings and add the camera addresses to the compatibility view list (why is that not static ?!?) I get the video for other platform/os text on a grey screen. During my many attempts adding cameras to different internet zones and stuff, I did get a snap shot of the video to appear but no streaming video and some of the controls are missing.
The link to the solution has been edited and reflects that the user needed to revert back to IE 10.
So I'm looking for help so that I can continue to use my great WVC 210 cameras.
I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate by the way.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Enabling Motion Detection on 2621V: "Video for other platform/os" error

    Team,
trying to get motion detection on my CIVS 2621V enabled. Running Firmware Version: V4.4.2-2
I always get the Video for Other Platforms error not matter which browser that I am using or different systems.
Searched around and found some posts from some COTS video surveillance systems from Cisco running into the same issue but nothing here.

It's likely you'll need a much older version of IE in order to set this up natively.  I believe the original user guide for the 2621 actually called for IE 6 on Windows XP.
    http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/security/physical_security/video_surveillance/ip_camera/2621/user_guide/2621ug.pdf
... although I seem to recall doing this with something as recent as IE 8 without issue.
I actually have to keep a VM and an old XP workstation with VNC on it to work with some of the much older hardware :-S

  • WVC80N - Remote - "Video for other Platform/OS"??

I finally was able to remotely access my WVC80N remotely.  However from my work computer I can get into the Web setup window but when selecting the view video get the message in the WVC80N web window "Video for other Platform/OS"
My work computer is XP.  Able to view remotely from home and other computers.
    Please help.
    Thank you,
    Chuck

Sounds like you may be using a browser like Firefox and something is going on.   First thing is try the snapshot video mode, to see if you can get a snapshot.
    This URL would be http://yourname.Mylinksyscam.com:xxxx/img/snapshot.cgi
(where xxxx is the TCP port the cam is on)
Then, if that shows a static JPG image, you can then try firefox using the MJPG mode
    http://yourname.Mylinksyscam.com:xxxx/img/mjpeg.htm
Most likely this will work, IE can't do MJPG mode, try another browser and eventually you'll get the video to pop up.

  • Upgrade scripts for other platforms...

We are in a need for upgrade scripts (Portal 3.0) for other platforms like HP-UX, when will these be available?
Or can we use the scripts for the other Operating Systems, provided we invoke them from that O/S?
    thanks

We'll be posting new versions of the upgrade scripts for HP-UX, IBM AIX, Linux and others shortly on OTN. (I don't have an ETA, but it won't be long, I think). Earlier versions of these upgrade scripts have also been posted to metalink.oracle.com.

  • Dealing with "video for other Platform/OS" message

    Some advice please.
On my home network, I have my WVC200 camera attached to the Linksys router via a cable; and I am able to control the camera and see video from a Vista OS machine.   When I try to see video on a wireless laptop, the message "Video for other Platform/OS" appears on the Linksys control screen.
I am able to log in to the wireless camera from the laptop; pan/tilt the camera; but cannot see video on the laptop.
Should I be able to see video on a second PC on the network ?
I have set up the WVC200 camera with a fixed IP of 192.168.1.120.
I am using freedns.afraid.org DDNS using port forwarding to port 2000

  • Download for other platforms

Hi; is there some way to download trials for a platform other than what you are currently using? I would like to download the CS6 trial for my mac from my windows pc at work (bandwidth issues at home).

    Hi nvh42,
You can download it by navigating to the download page and select the OS you require the software for.
Alternatively, You can also try downloading from the direct download links available at http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cs6-direct-download-links.html
But make sure you follow the important instructions on the page before initiating the download.

  • OpenSparc for other platforms?

    Hello,
today I saw the mail from the mailing-list and immediately download the package.
I find it great to have a look in the implementation of a big processor-family.
But unfortunately the package is only for the Solaris platform. Because I'm a student, I do not have my own Sparc-System. Is it planned to port the Release to Linux?
Or does it run on an x86s Solaris?
Anyway, I think it's really a great thing to open the design of a processor!
Keep up your effort for open-source!
    Bye
    Matthias

Where can I find more informations about porting the
OpenSPARC T1 release to other platforms such as
Linux? Is someone able to post a link or contact
    informations?
Linux: Linus T pulled Dave Miller's initial Linux port for UltraSPARC T1 back into the master Linux tree on March 21. See http://vger.kernel.org/~davem/cgi-bin/blog.cgi for Dave Miller's blog, where he reports that and talks about other experiences during the port.
FreeBSD: Kip Macy seems to be working on a FreeBSD port. See http://bsdnews.com/view_story.php3?story_id=5465 .
Others: I've heard rumors of other OS ports in various stages of process, but don't have URLs handy to substantiate the rumors.

  • Viewers for "other" platforms

    Hi.
As i understood, the advances in folio producer are almoust completely Apple centric?
If i design my magazine for Android, there are no advantages for me? Or even opposite, if i create folio using new version of folio producer, there is big chance my folios will not show up in Android?
The Android tools are still on version, huh, 12? No PDF folios, no windowed videos...

Almost certainly not, though none of us here can say for sure. Apple makes their money by selling hardware, so they have little incentive to provide any sort of support for someone else's device. If you want to purchase books that can be used in multiple devices, buy from Amazon who provides Kindle software for the iPad, iPhone, Android, Blackberry and both Windows and Mac OS X. Barnes and Nobel may also eventually provide a reader for Android systems, though they don't right now.
    Regards.
