Mode connecté avec Nikon D600

Le mode connecté  ne fonctionne pas avec le Nikon D600. A quand un correctif ?

“When will Nikon D600 tethering be supported?”
Adobe does not communicate about future support.  The next version of Lightroom should be out in the springtime.  Maybe then, maybe not.

If Adobe announces future intentions and they fails to deliver on those intentions the stock price could go down from negative press about the failure and then Adobe would have fewer people to work on things and it would be a vicious cycle.
I mean all it takes is one well-known Nikon blogger to say something negative about a failure for Adobe to deliver announced D600 tethering and an analyst to write about it and people that have no idea about cameras or Lightroom start selling their Adobe stock with an incorrect conclusion that Adobe’s developers are inept.

  • Camera raw sous PSE 9 pour Nikon D600

    Bonjour,

  • I imported photos from nikon d600 to lightroom 5. but i don't see it on bridge cs6. help?

i imported photos from nikon d600 to lightrroom 5. but don't see it on cs6 bridge. how do i know where it was downloaded to?
i see the folder in lghtroom under the hard drive, but can't see it on bridge?

    Hi
    Then it's not my advice.
There are two very important things about this.
    • NEVER - move or alter any folder named iMovie Events or iMovie Projects on DeskTop/Finder - at all !
All changes must take place inside the iMovie Application - else connections break ! and iMovie can't find them.
Move Events and Projects back and hope that they will be found.
    • The external hard disk - MUST BE - Mac OS Extended (hfs) formatted - UNIX/DOS/FAT32/Mac OS Exchange works for most BUT NOT FOR VIDEO - not for iMovie nor FinalCut.

  • How do I tether my Nikon D600 to Lightroom on my Mac Book Pro?

how do I tether my Nikon D600 to Lightroom on my Mac Book Pro?

Even though Adobe is dragging their feet offering support ... you are in luck since you are using an OS X product ... you don't have to wait until Adobe thinks it's time to offer you a solution ... you can tether with your D600 right now and it won't cost you a one cent ... because Apple added tethering support back in October 2012 ...
    It's slightly convoluted though.
On you Macbook Pro there is an app installed by default called Image Capture. Start Image Capture, plug your camera into the laptop with the USB cord. Thurn on the camera. Then from the Menu go to: File>Take Picture ... this will open a dialog box that you can designate a folder to save your images. Then point Lightroom to that folder in "watched folder" mode and you are in business ... takes a touch longer to see your results in Lightroom than if you were tethering directly ... but you can get the job done.
Keep in mind you can't trigger the camera or adjust settings from within Lightroom ... but you can see you results and begin work on your images very quickly ...

  • Lightroom 5 does not detect my camera, a Nikon D600, in tethered capture. Can someone assist?

Lightroom 5 does not detect my Nikon D600 in tethered capture. I have tried turning the camera off then on and also turned the computer off then on.  I am using windows 7.  Anyone have any ideas?

I am having the same problem with both my D610 and my D800.  Both worked fine in the past.  In both cases, I can import files from the camera via 'Import', so I know the USB connection to the computer is fine, but Neither camera is detected during tether.

  • Stealth mode connection attempts?  Reason for Open DNS in router settings?

Console is giving me repeated messages (many times per minute) that read
"Stealth Mode connection attempt to UDP xxxx  from 208.67.222.222:53"
That's a little scary to the uninitiated!   I've done some rummaging here and across the net on this.  I understand little of what I found or how to stop this.  I understand that the 208.67.222.222 is Open DNS related.  I was glad to discover that as I originally thought some malicious computer somewhere was trying to gain access to my MacBook Pro.  I thought I'd delete the DNS servers to see if that would help, but they are greyed out in the Preferences--Network--DNS panel and cannot be removed.
From what I've investigated, those Open DNS servers are set in the router.  I know how to change or delete those, but maybe I shouldn't.  In fact, maybe someone can remind me why I put them in there in the first place (years ago).  I vaguely recall some advantage to using Open DNS (faster?), although I'll confess that, of late, too often mistyped web addresses go to an Open DNS page, which is a nuisance.
In any event, I'd like to do something that would stop the stealth mode "attacks".  While I'm sure I could ignore it, maybe it's eating up some browser or network time.  It also seems odd that it would go on and on!

Thanks for some info on this.  Should I only see it then, when I'm in a browser?  Or, when wi-fi is on?  I'm assuming that the Mac may be checking what time it is, although it seems a little too frequent for that!  (3 times a minute?  Well, maybe that's about right, but then Apple and Open DNS should coordinate so that this message doesn't show up.)
    I did find this:  http://forums.opendns.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=1785
Does that make sense?  It's completely benign?  And doesn't waste CPU cycles?
One problem with all this stealth mode logging is that it fills up the Console message window!  It thus means that there is gobs of stuff I have to wade through to see if there really is something going on from the outside!
I did find two oddballs in there (I don't think they were open DNS as they weren't 208s), so the firewall is doing something.

  • HT201071 RAW format Problem with NIKON D600 after updating to maverick.

We still have problems after this update.
Pictures in RAW format imported to Aperture are brilliant as they are with the NIKON D600. Imported Pictures with the NIKON D800 are aweful. They are kind of grey without any saturation. To convert every single Picture to JPEG brings back their brilliance and colors. We have consulted the apple and the aperture support, but they dind't have any solution to fix our issue.
    Any ideas?

Have you also asked in the Adobe forums?  To have people read your post, best not to include long crash reports until asked to do so.

  • HT201070 I currently use OS 10.6.8 and Aperture 3, and just got a Nikon D600. It seems the the RAW Compatibility updates (4.01) are for use only with OS 10.7.5 or later, is that right? Do I need to update my whole OS to use this camera? Thank you!

Thanks to Bobthefisherman & Turbostar.  Turns out I've got a corrupted disk (which I found out via "verify disk" on Disk Utility First Aid.  Previously, I never thought to verify disk -- only to repair permissions -- so I never knew my HD had been corrupted.
Wasn't able to do a clean install of OSX10.6 because my SuperDrive only sporadically will load discs, so I am taking it to the Apple Store to see if they can do a clean install, and depending upon costs, get the Superdrive replaced.
The HD wasn't partioned by the way.  And I did have just over 40GB of contiguous space.
    Thanks again.

  • Can't read NEF files in PS CS4 w/ Nikon D600

Have new Nikon D600 and CS 4; read Adobe Camera Raw 7.2 is the one to download. Did that but still can't read my NEF files. Is there another version i should be using? Thanks!

Specific versions of ACR only work with certain versions of Photoshop.
The ACR 7.2 will only work with CS6.
You should remove ACR 7.2 for your CS4 because it will never work. Also having more than one version of ACR can screw things up.
Do you still the ACR of CS4? I believe that 5.7 is the newest that works with CS4.
You can download this from Adobe but read carefully all the instructions.
Older verions of ACR are never updated to deal with newer cameras.
To be able to open your Nikon D600 NEFs you have to use a slight workaround.
Download Adobe DNG Converter 7.3 (note DNG not ACR)
With this installed you can convert your new NEFs for your D600 into the Digital Negative Format (DNG) which then can be opened in older versions of ACR like yours.
Its a 2 step process, but it is the only way when dealing with newer cameras and older version of Photoshop.
Note that in the DNG converter you convert the folder that contains the NEFs rather than attempting to convert a single NEF.

  • Adobe Camera Raw for Nikon D600

I have just purchased a Nikon D600 camera and am looking to use it with my Photoshop CS4 and ACR 5.7. Is Adobe going to upgrade ACR 5.7 for the Nikon D600 or do I need to upgrade to CS6 and the latest version of ACR?

    Hi Ivan,
Yes you will need to upgrade to photoshop cs6 to use the latest version of camera raw (7.2).
However you can use the free DNG Converter 7.2 to convert the D600 files to dng copies which cs4 should then open in camera raw 5.7.

  • Why cannot I open NEF files from a Nikon D600 with Photoshop CS5?

When I try to open raw NEF files from a Nikon D600 with Photoshop CS5 I get: "Could not complete your request because the file appears to be from a camera model which is not supported by the installed version of Camera Raw"
Nikon D600, however, is among the camera models listed as compatible with Camera Raw CS5.
I have never had any problem in Camera Raw CS5 and older versions with raw NEF files from a Nikon D80 camera.
Is there an update for CS5 to make it compatible with Nikon D600 raw NEF files?
    Many thaks in advance.

Which verison of camera raw do you have installed? I would update to the latest camera raw plug in. Here is a link to 6.7

  • Problem with recognition raw files from nikon d600

hello everyone, i hope someone can answer my question.
using cs5 with camera raw . camera raw is not able to open my nef files from my new nikon d600 . what can i do to update the plugin??
from the menu help updates in cs5 it tells me that all soft.  is updated but it is still not working

You need to upgrade to PS CS6 in order to work with D600 raw files. Else, you can convert your raw files to DNG using DNG Converter.

Since pse 9 can only use up to camera raw 6.5 and the d600 needs at least 7.3 and the d800 needs at least 6.7, you can use the
8.6 adobe dng converter to convert those files to dng copies, which then pse 9 should open.
