Mode stockage grande capacité (installation GPS Garmin)

carlos mate if you had a genuine copy it wouldnt ask you for a product code the product code would allready be on the memory card
the product code would also be with the packaging that came with the product
why dont you email garmin and tell them your official garmin product dosent have the product key on the memory card
i think youve bought a fake version from ebay or something???
to the user that cant get signal , it sounds like you have a broken gps unit on your n97 its a very common problem just google gps problems on the n97
there is a 20 page discussion in this maps forum about the issue
once your bars go green youll have signal and be able to use it , without a signal you can make a demo route , its in the tools section mate
its a nice bit of software is garmin thats why everyone should buy it if they want to use it
symbian had tomtom many moons ago but due to piracy theyve bailed out and gone to the iphone , so not buying it isnt doing anyone any favours , we want updates and good software then buy it support the devlopers guys , otherwise when they stop making it due to piracy what are you going to do then
i can recomend navmii as well if you go here
http://forum.navmii.com/default.aspx?g=topics&f=1
and ask for a free weeks trial to test they will send you an activation code that will last a  week so you can try it out  , they also watch their forums alot and awnswer questions and listen to improovemnts
with this one when you buy it you get free map updates and software updates for a year as well defo worth a look peeps

  • Dual G5 won't boot unless in safe mode post iLife 09' installation.

Alright so a few hours ago I had installed iLife 09 and the computer refused to restart therefor I did a manual force shutdown (by holding the power button till it shut off).
When I booted the computer up it began to load at the "spinning grey screen" then shut off within a few seconds.
I booted it in safe mode to try to fix the problem by uninstalling iLife by removing the files from the applications folder and deleting the receipts. After rebooting I still had the same issue.
Then I booted up in safe mode once more to open up Disk Utilities to fix the permissions. Found a few things it changed then rebooted once more... No dice.
http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2022959&tstart=60 I took a look at that thread, booted up in single user mode ran the commands and still nothing.
Additional note that seems different than most posts i've read so far:
I cannot boot from another hard drive (internal, external or partition) unless I am in safe mode.

    HI,
Can you boot from your install disk?
Insert Installer disk and Restart, holding down the "C" key until grey Apple appears.
Go to Installer menu (Panther and earlier) or Utilities menu (Tiger and later) and launch Disk Utility.
Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in the left panel.
Select First Aid in the Main panel.
*(Check S.M.A.R.T Status of HDD at the bottom of right panel. It should say: Verified)*
Click Repair Disk on the bottom right.
If DU reports disk does not need repairs quit DU and restart.
If DU reports errors Repair again and again until DU reports disk is repaired.
When you are finished with DU, from the Menu Bar, select Utilities/Startup Manager.
Select your start up disk and click Restart
While you have the Disk Utility window open, look at the bottom of the window where you see Capacity and Available. *Make sure there is always 15% free disk space.* Not enough disk space can cause directory corruption.

  • Windows 7 will only boot in safe mode after Bootcamp Driver Installation

Help! I recently installed Windows 7 onto my MacBook Pro with OS X 10.6.4. Everything runs smoothly until I restart the machine following the installation of the Bootcamp Drivers. Upon restart, I am told that Windows "was not able to shut down successfully." I can restart in safe mode but cannot seem to fix the problem. I assume it is related to one of the Bootcamp drivers but which one? Has anyone had this problem? Do I need to install the Bootcamp drivers in order to run windows successfully? Thanks so much!

BEFORE you installed anything off OS X DVD, you did have Windows running, right?
So it was crippled but somewhat functional. And it is possible to create a standard user account, a 2nd admin account. Just as one backup, I understand that doesn't really help.
Same with backing up Windows 7 to an external drive, making a system restore image.
And you can copy the Apple drivers to a folder in Windows and use Troubleshoot Compatibility Mode and install individually (they aren't one program or package, they are in
Apple\Drivers\ for one and people using 64-bit have to use that to run Bootcamp64.msi using Compatibility Mode.
When you started and titled "will boot in safe mode" that sounded like you could boot and login.
Using external wired keyboard and mouse is what some people have had to do until they got proper drivers.
    Would be nice if:
Windows had more drivers and Apple would ship a set to be included in Windows 7 SP1; drivers worked! And could be downloaded and installed directly into Windows, and no need for old 3.0 and then 3.1 but go directly to latest (and new Macs do have improved 3.0 drivers, which are on 10.6.4 DVDs).

  • Disable read mode by default during installation

I am currently trying to disable read mode by default as a part of the software installation.
I have searched the msi file using the customization wizard but have not found any part of it that refers to this setting.
Is there a reg key or a setting in the MSI I can change to disable this setting?
    Edit:
    This is for Reader X

I have been able to figure out the answer, so I'll put it into here in case anyone else wants to do this.
The following registry key has to be added to the msi or mst
    HKCU > Software > Adobe > Acrobat Reader > 10.0 > AVGeneral
    Dword - bBrowserDisplayInReadMode = 0

  • IMac randomly booting into "safe boot" mode after a clean installation of OS X Lion 10.7 (??)

Is anyone else having problems with their Mac (running a clean installation of OS X Lion 10.7) randomly booting into "safe boot" mode after a restart or shut down?
(Indicators being: seeing the login screen even when "automatic login" is enabled, the proper video drivers not loading - indicated by laggy desktop animations, WiFi not working properly, Menu Bar icons that normally show - not showing, etc.)
**Note: I migrated from a Snow Leopard Time Machine backup, but did not import "Settings". I thought this would be the best way to keep from encountering any issues with 10.6/10.7 incompatibility.

Found this answer from another user. THE EXACT THING HAPPENS TO ME:
Its really annoying Apple hasn't fix it.
    =================
    I think i got it :
The progressbar while booting ( booting in safe-mode ) came from the wireless keybord and is reproduceable.
At evening I shut down my iMac an put off my mouse and keyboard. To startup I put on the iMac and immediatly after I switch on keyboard and mouse. In tihs case the keyboards sends some event wich leads to safe-mode.
Know I wait until I switch on the keyboard. In my opinion this is a bug, i can live this way but i hope it will be fixed.
I will know take a look at it while not switching off the keybord, power consumption should be acceptable

  • Wls61sp4_upgrade_win.exe -mode=console invokes GUI installer

    Hello,
I need in console mode insatallation of wls61sp4_upgrade_win.exe.
    When I use:
    wls61sp4_upgrade_win.exe -mode=console
    it invokes GUI installer.
    How to fix it?
    Oleg.

    Hello Wayne,
    I followed all instructions.
Log file option does not work with silent mode.
If I specify log file option, it invokes GUI installer:
    wls61sp4_upgrade_win.exe -f C:\software\installer.properties -log=C:\software\installer.log
If I do not specify log file Install Anywhere gives brief message "Installation
    completed" but do nothing.
I do remote installation using NetOP and need to see problem.
    Locally it works fine.
    We have WebLogic 6.1 licences.
    Thank you.
    Oleg.

You have to follow the documentation, create a template for input, and

you did. Otherwise, it is a guessing game.
If the installer did anything, it should have created a log file. I believe
    that
is true even in silent mode, and I think it is called weblogic.log .
    I have to
check some recent installations I did. If this were an "official" support

I would check before answering! ;-)

I used silent mode as a suitable substitute,
but did NOT get any result.
Installation didn't create any additional directories or files.
How can I see result of installation?
    Thank you.

Well, you could try the generic zipped package. I have not done it
    yet,

cannot say that this will work. The reason you get GUI Mode is because
    console
mode is only for UNIX ->

  • Recently upgraded to snow lion and my macbook won't accept my garmin device. Wasn't a problem prior to software installation. Garmin works on other computer so it isn't the Garmin or usb connection.

snow lion is not allowing my garmin to remain connected.  Keeps kicking it out (turning it on and off) and gives me a message indicating device was improperly ejected and to properly eject it and it will try and fix.  Nothing gets fixed....just keeps turning on and off.  The Garmin isn't the issue....works on the other computer along with the USB.  Wasn't a problem until Lion.  Any suggestions.

perating system is now snow lion.  Garmin model is Edge 705.  the 705 works on another computer but keeps turning on and off and the device appearance in finder appears then disappears.  I keep getting the message the disk did not properly eject but I properly eject it every time including when device appears intermittently in finder.

  • How do I get out of this mode between downloading and installation?! (read details please!)

    :/ My computer won't upgrade to Mountain Lion, but isn't letting me access my files. (it is basically stuck in the middle of the process) I do not have a Time Machine back-up, so I cannot erase and delete everything. It is basically corrupted! ;

Use Lion Recovery  to repair the startup disk if necessary.

  • IMac powers off in sleep mode after Mountain Lion installation

After I installed Mountain Lion on my 2010 iMac, it will power off after I don't use it a while. It used to just go to sleep, I'd shake the mouse, and it would come back up. Now it powers off and I have to power it back up every time.
My Macbook has NOT had this problem since Mountain Lion install. It is fine.

Try doing a smc and pram reset.

  • HT2477 how can I connect a Garmin GPS etrex vista hcx to macbook pro with retina.

I would like to know if is it possible to connect my GPS Garmin etrex vista hcx to my macbook pro with retina.
    Thanks.

I believe that Garmin GPSr model uses a USB connection, so if you load the Garmin drivers, and possibly the [free] Garmin Base Camp utility, you should be able to connect your GPSr to your macbook Pro and transfer information.  I don't recall positively, but I think that your GPSr should appear as a USB drive automatically once you connect it, but it might require you to load the Garmin Communicator software.

  • Tables for PDS modes and capacity requirements

Does anyone  know which tables store the Mode and Capacity Requirement data for SNP PDSs?  In particular I am looking for the Mode Duration and Capacity Requirement Bucket Resource Consumption fields.
    Thanks,
    Laurence.

    Thanks Nanda,
I am unable to find this BAPI on our system  (we are on SCM 4.1).  Do you know the tables that store SNP PDS Mode and Capacity Requirement data?

  • .jar installer fails in console mode over missing X / variable DISPLAY

    Hi all,
I tried to install the WebLogic Server in console mode according to the Installation Guide for Oracle WebLogic Server 12c Release 1, but couldn't get past an error.
My system is a CentOS 6.4 with kernel 2.6.32-358.el6.i686 in a VMWare virtual machine, running text mode only (X is not installed). I have JRockIt installed, and variables MW_HOME, JAVA_HOME and PATH defined accordingly, and I am using a dedicated user to this installation. Both JRockIt and WLS are being installed in this user's home directory.
I downloaded the generic .jar installer for WebLogic Server 12.1.2 (wls_121200.jar) and tried to install the server in console mode, with this command:
    java -jar <path>wls_121200.jar -mode=console
In the initial checks, the installer complains that the environment variable DISPLAY is not set and asks if I want to continue or not. The installation guide says this is not required for a console mode installation, so I chose to continue anyway. Then the installation fails with a Java exception:
    java.awt.HeadLess exception:
No X11 DISPLAY variable was set, but this program performed an operation which requires it.
    (Then the usual class dump)
Should the console mode install ask for X? Did I miss anything? What should I do to be able to install the server in console mode?
    Many thanks,
    Emerson

    Hi,
There is no console mode in WebLogic 12.1.2. It has been remove.
See MOS note: "WebLogic Server 12.1.2 Generic Install Jar File Fails To Recognize Console Install Mode (Doc ID 1577869.1)"

They are probably sold out of stock already.  What you received is a boilerplate email.  Why not try going to the Apple store on Friday and picking one up then?
