Model 6103 not working with BSNL SIM

When I put BSNL SIM in my phone (Model 6103), I do not get any signal. Why is this ? I get signal with Vodafone SIM.
According to my phone manual it should work with BSNL which has a frequency range of 900-1800 (as told to me by their customer service).

Could it be that your phone is SIM-locked to Vodafone's network? If you got it from Vodafone and haven't specifically asked them for an unlock code to enable you to use SIMs from other networks, this could be the case, although it's more likely to say something like "invalid SIM" rather than just not pick up a signal.
It could also be that there's simply no BSNL coverage where you are.

  • Iphone 4 model MC603B/A is not working with any sim card

    Hi,
I just bought myself a Iphone 4 and it is not working with any sim card so far. So far I tried everything, even bought sim cards from different countries to see if that would work. I tried the sim cards in others phones and are working correctly in those.
Several websites says that this phone is from the UK?! but even the sim cards from the UK arent working.
I have the legit firmware form iTunes and im up to date. (no jailbreak or what so ever)
Let me how to fix it.
    Gr. WIlliam

No, it is NOT OK to talk about jailbreaking either.
As for why it is criminal, ONLY the carrier has the legal right to authorize unlocking it. In some countries (as it was in the US until recently and may be again soon) it is legal for an individual phone owner to unlock thier phone, it is not legal for a 3rd party to do so.  Also, those services are not just "unlocking" the phone, they are gaining unauthorized access to a commercial database. That is a crime in almost every civilized country.

    Dear sir
I bought my iPhone 4 from Apple store in Charlotte N/C about 2years ago without contract.
Now I tried to upgrade it to iOS 7.0.4.but after that my phone not work with last sim card.
And invalid sim appeared.so I bought it without contract but it seems to be lock in my country
Please tell me whats the matter?
    My phone serial no  86034HTCA4T
    Modem firmware  04.12.09
    Thanks

Without contract is not the same as unlocked. The update to iOS 7 relocked
the iPhone to the wireless carrier to which it was originally locked. You must
contact that wireless carrier to see if they offer unlocking and if you qualify.
If you used jailbreak or other hack to unlock the iPhone initially, the method
used may prevent a legitimate unlock from succeeding and may render your
    iPhone unuseable.

  • I bought this iPhone from Apple Retail Store for the full amount, but  it does not work with my SIM card only works with AT&T

    Hello,
I have an iPhone 4S 32Gb White AT&T, product part No. MC921LL/A, Serial No. C39GMLPWDTDC
I bought this iPhone from Apple Retail Store (from Fifth Avenue, NY) for the full amount. Now it does not work with my SIM card only works with AT&T. I restored the phone several times, but I have not received "Congratulations your iPhone has been unlocked". Please activate my iPhone to work with different SIM cards
    Thanks,
    Best Wishes

    When did you buy it?
Apple did not begin selling an unlocked version of the iPhone 4S in the US until 11/11/11. I believe it went on sale only through the online store at that time. I'm not sure if it's available at retail yet.
What you purchased was a phone without a contract commitment. It is still locked to AT&T. AT&T will NOT unlock iPhones for any reason.  Return it and get your money back, then use that to purchase an unlocked phone.

  • GUYS MY iPHONE 4 IS NOT WORKING WITH THE SIM CARD IN ZIMBABWE,HOW DO I UNLOCK IT?

GUYS MY iPHONE 4 IS NOT WORKING WITH THE SIM CARD IN ZIMBABWE,HOW DO I UNLOCK IT?

Only the wireless carrier that the iPhone is locked to is capable of unlocking it.  You'll have to ask them if they will unlock it.  Some will, some won't.
    Hope this helps

  • New Applications model DOES NOT work with StandAlone OSD media

If you are able to create StandAlone OSD media, the new Applications model DOES NOT work with it.
    - The creation of the media will be successful
    - The application installation itself will be successful
Yet after the application is installed, it shows the correct process it needs to complete based on the return code in AppEnforce log, but does not process that information back to the the TS Manager so it appears to attempt to download a policy which fails
causing the task sequence to error out..
    Thanks,
    Squirre1

It is very similar to this description:
    http://madluka.wordpress.com/2012/05/15/error-0x8000405-when-installing-applications-to-a-workgroup-system-during-build-and-capture-task-sequence/
It is using the application model, since it is not attached to the domain it is on a workgroup. But it is on standalone media and not during a build and capture sequence, it is during an OSD. But alot of the same puzzle pieces fit. Basically pointing to
the new applications model not working during standalone OSD when the MP is not available. i would say that not enough information is getting encapsulated into the Application when exported onto the StandAlone media.

  • 3gs not working with different sim

    Hi
Just upgraded my 3gs which was purchased unlocked from the apple store. It was working fine and still does with an o2 sim but will not work with a virgin sim. It says "No Service" have also tried disabling 3g, but still nothing. any ideas?

    Hi there,
if your Virgin SIM-card does work in another phone, have Apple doublecheck whether your iPhone 3GS's IMEI truely is flagged as unlocked. If you bought it as a brand new iPhone, it should (in most cases) indeed be factory-unlocked, else if you bought it as a replacement outside the replaced phone's warranty, there might be problem with a faulty database entry, since iOS5 update apparently changed the way the lock/unlock status is verified during the activation process.
This is causing many people to end up with locked phones after the update. Anyway, it is something Apple can change rather easily, once such error is confirmed.
    Hope this helps,
    Chris

  • FaceTime not working with prepaid sim

    Hi everyone,
I own an officially unlocked (by Orange France) iPhone 4. Whenever I travel outside of France, I always use prepaid local sim cards (roaming fees are way too high + subscribing to data roaming with Orange is almost impossible as it is very complicated).
How come FaceTime does not work (the option to make FaceTime calls is not there anymore) when a prepaid sim card is inserted in my iPhone (and when I am obviously using a wifi network)?
    Thank you!

While I can not say for certain but,
To use facetime one first calls another iPhone user via cell. This lets the two phones let each other know "hey, I am an iPhone 4". Once done, a Facetime option shows up for that contact (the phone won't know who in contact list is a iPhone 4 user until you call once). Once done, then you can use Facetime with that person right then, or phone will remember to give option to start directly anytime you are on WiFi.
Now, "how" do they tell each other I am uncertain, but could be that SIM plays a role in identifying iPhone 4 status. Since you are not using the SIM that came with the phone it could just be that.

  • I want to give my Iphone to my sister, but it does not work with her SIM card

As far as I am aware, the phone was not locked to a particular network but never the less - the phone was bought on T-Mobile UK and she is trying to use a T-Mobile UK sim card. I wiped the phone before giving it to her. However, it is not working! Do I need to inform apple that I have given this device to somone else and they should be 'allowed' to acess the device. Do Iphones lock them seleves to one partuclaur sim card? I replaced the Iphone at the Apple store due to dropping it in some cofee.. would this of caused them to register my device to my sim in particular?
    Thanks for your help.

If you are both on the T-mobile network, the sim card should work.  If you did a Erase All Content and Settings, then she should be at the point of activation as a new device...talk to T-mobile and be sure the sim she is using is a valid sim card.

  • Bbm will not work with a sim card

My BBM will only work on WIFI without a sim card in the phone.. I have a Blackberry Classic. When i take my sim card out my BBM works great. The app store works as well it only seems to be BBM. any suggestions on what I can do to fix this

Only if you buy an unlocked iPhone 5S which are ONLY available from Apple on-line or Apple Retail Stores in UK
You would have no warranty outside UK and the LTE(4G) will not work in China
    3G should be OK

  • Iogear multilink BT keyboard (Model: GKM611B) not working with my Mac's

I purchased the iogear keyboard to work with both my iOS and OSX devices.  iOS devices work perfectly, but none of the computers I've  tried (Mac Pro and iMac's) 'discover' the keyboard.  Anyone got this keyboard working with their Mac computers?

If you can't sign in, then you can't troubleshoot and/or pair the keyboard until after that........ so, for that, you will need to borrow someone's USB wired keyboard in order to get signed in and to the Keyboard Bluetooth Preferences.

  • Passport not working with Fido SIM

I received yesterday my new BB Passport (directly from BlacBerry). I was excited, however it is frustrating now. My passport is not detecting Fido mobile network. I did lots of troubleshooting with Fido on the phone but nothing worked. I tried the SIM on an IPhone 5 and it worked. Clearly, the problem is the Blackberry device. Now since I bought it directly from BB; only BB can fix the problem. However, no phone support is available from BB. I have to ship back to them. It is frustrating. The WiFi interface is working fine
    AS

So, I just got off a long call with blackberry at this phone number: 877-644-8405.
I was also provided another phone number by that agent which is more specific to the passport: 877-255-2377
They have confirmed for me that this issue is the fault of blackberry, not fido.
They have confirmed that they are currently 'working on it' with 'no estimated time of completion'
So, that isn't really a good deal. Its to the point where I have to look at porting my number to a different provider whose sim card is actually recognized without issues by the bb passport. Needless to say, this is a huge hassle for me on a phone that I purchased outright for $700.
The good news is that when the issue is resolved, blackberry withh use a push notification to send the updated firmware for the device, and this will resolve the issue. So, if you can live without your phone until the fix is completed, then you're golden.
