Model Creation Error:Not authorized to logon to target system(error code 1)

Hello All,
I am trying to create a new model in my WebDynpro project.
I have used "Single Server" to login to the backend.
But when I try to connect to the backend system I get the following error:
"Login Failed: You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)"
I have an "SAP_ALL" role in the backend. Any idea what could be wrong?
Thanks and Regards,
Reena

Hello Reena,
The user name or passwd that you specified is not correct. Try by giving the user name in Capital letter; if still its not working take advice from Basis person and get the right to use it.

  • You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)

    Dear Expert,
I met some problems that 'You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)' when I tried to do the auth. testing for RFC SM_CLNT<SID>_TRUSTED in satellite system.
Following SAP note 128447, I recreated the RFCs in SMSY in solution manager for satellite system using existing user.
It was still error ''You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)'.
In SMSY in solman, I checked the RFCs connection which I recreated using RFC wizard, they are ok(green).
I have already maintain the auth. obj S_RFCACL for user who is running this.
So, I am confused what authorization I did not maintain in user? Please help me out!
    Thanks a lot!

    Hello Lucy,
The error is pretty clear that the calling system is not a trusted system so I don't think you should bother with an authorization trace at this time, because authorizations is not quite the issue. The calling system is NOT a trusted system, authorizations or not.
Please refer to SAP Note 128447 Trusted/Trusting systems
    The error is listed there:
Authorization errors that occur when using an RFC destination for which
the 'Trusted Systems' indicator is set are documented with the following
    message:
"No authorization to log on as a trusted system (Trusted RC = #)."
    In this case, the trusted return code # (# = 0, 1, 2, 3) has the
    following relevance:
1   The calling system is not a trusted system, or the
security key for the system is invalid.
Solution: Recreate the trusted system (see
         documentation).
These are the links the Note provides for the documentation:
    /saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/22/042671488911d189490000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
] in accordance with the documentation
    [http://help.sap.com/
    saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8b/0010519daef443ab06d38d7ade26f4/content.htm].
The Note states to recreate the Trusted system according to the Documentation (links above)
This is all in the Note. Please follow the Note to reslve this known error.

  • You are not authorized to logon to the target system error code1(in SM58)

    Hi Basis Gurus,
In my test system Idocs are in error status.
When I check tRFC monitering in SM58, there are several Idocs are strucked.
Status Text: You are not authorized to logon to the target system  (error code 1).
Recently we have refreshed our test system with production data.
Before system refresh it was normal.
The RFC connection is also working fine.
Please suggest the solution as I'm struck in this issue.
    I'm a Basis Guy.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Ravi.

    Hi,
Change the RFC user password in target system however there are 2 tests to analyse from SM59 :
    1) RFC Connection test
    2) Authorization Test
And i guess you have only tested the 1st one from the RFC(SM59) check whether you can succeed with option 2 if not then you may need to change the password.
    Thanks,
    Salim

I have already delele all of RFCs related to managed system .

    RE

    Hi,
In case you selected the option current user for the RFC logon, please ensure that the user (the one you're using ) is available in both systems and also that the authorizations S_RFC and S_RFCACL are assigned on both systems.
If you're using a user just for the trusted RFC, please check if this user exist in both systems and have the mentioned authorizations.
    kind regards,

  • "You are not authorized to logon to the target system"

One of our clients has just recently upgraded their SAPGUI to 640 (patch level 13).  Since then they have been unable to log on to one of their development boxes.  Connections to all other boxes are successful but their test box returns a "You are not authorized to logon to the target system" error message.
The client has assured me that the username, password and client are correct and that they can logon without a problem from the logon pad.  I have also requested that she change password and try using the same case when she is logging on.
So far none of this has helped.  Does anyone have any ideas of how I can get to the bottom of this?
    Thanks,
    Charles

I can only guess that the problem has to do with the move to case-sensitive passwords in newer patchlevels.
Did they try to enter the password all-uppercase?

    Hello,
some days ago I followed the wiki and installed a printer (HP Laserjet 1020) that uses the driver foo2zjs (from AUR). It didn't print anything in the beginning, but after blacklisting usblp module it printed a Test Page. Believing that everything was working fine, I unfortunately did not try to print any other document to check it.
Now, trying to print a document for the first time, the printer simply prints nothing, and the log file shows this error message: client-error-not-authorized.
There's no network here and the printer is connected directly to the computer. Both the regular and root users are included in the lp group. The hostname from /etc/hosts is localhost.

  • RW-20013: Error: - Not enough free disk space on system

    Hi,
I am trying to install Oracle E-Business Suite R12 and I want to place my database directly onto ASM instead of a standard installation and then converting that into ASM.
I have installed GRID and configured an ASM instance and when I proceed with the installation using the rapidwiz, during the File Space checks I am getting this error.
RW-20013: Error: - Not enough free disk space on system:
Database System File Directory = +DATA
    required = 15400.0
    actual = 6916.375
My DATA diskgroup has around 90 GB of space.
    Can anybody help me out?
    Thanks!

Thanks!the error message looks pretty clear to me.
You say your DG has "around 90 GB of space." how did you arrive at that? Is that supposed to be the size of the DG, or the available space in the DG?

  • Error "Not authorized to use ... it is not in the public solution model"

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to create a new communication scenario in SDK to use the inbound web service "HumanCapitalManagementMasterDataReplicationEmployeeMasterDataReplicationIn" but it raises this error.
How do I solve this authorization error?
    Thanks and regards,
    Bruno

Unfortunately this other web service is not available for me, I can only select the first one:
Also, according to the documentation this second one is not released yet:
    Inbound Service Interface (public)
But do you think it is operational? I could try to use it, but I need its WSDL and I don't know how to get it.
    Thanks and regards,

  • Bex Error: not authorized

    Hi,
    This time the error is:
"Warning You do not have authorization to read object ZCOMP_CODE 'Company Code' "
I get this message while runinng a report.
Is it because of authorization? How can I check auth if at all?
Or should I refer it to basis?
    thanks
    Fran

I had no authorization in P,
But i was able to use RSSMQ in D and got this message:
"you user master record is not sufficiently mainttained for object Company..." (truncated the rest)
"no Authorization (Or Evn)" (truncated again)
So i guess it is a security issue ?
    thanks a lot
    Fran
