Model is not opeing on Visual Composer

Hi Experts,
I opened Visual Compaser(http://www.xxx:50000/VC). and i created new model under "public". Its created (name what i gave is comming under public foler) but its not opening...
I am getting an script error as
Line: 2721
Char: 1
Error: "_root" is null or not an object
code: 0
URL: http://www.xxxxxx/VCRes/webContent/VisualComposer/6.00/bin/xxx.html?17112007.2051
Note::
I installed XML parser 4.0 and Adobe SVG view3.0.
Also I given permission to the user to acess VC role
Server Details 7.00 SP20
Why the error is comming..???
How to Resolve this problem.. Pls help me...

Hi Rabin,
Please have a look at thread [Issue opening an existing model or creating a new model in VC 7.0|Issue opening an existing model or creating a new model in VC 7.0].
Also check and verify the SAP portal component version and VC component version. if there is any mismatch then you need to use same version for both.

i have created a system on my portal to connect the R/3 backend, system is working fine but when i access visual composer by following way :

and clicks on find data, i am unable to find the system created by me, does anyone know why this is happening?? Is anything wrong with my VC settings?

In VC storyboard go to Tools>options>complier>In the Runtime tab
1) Select the Flash option and click the find data and Now check whether your getting the system
2) If you face the problem again check the webdynpro in Runtime tab in tools option

BAPI_DELIVERY_GETLIST not working in visual composer

Hi everyone,
I tried to use the BAPI named BAPI_DELIVERY_GETLIST in VC, but when I try to run it, only the content of the table ET_DELIVERY_HEADER appear, and all the other tables (specifically ET_DELIVERY_ITEM and ET_DELIVERY_ITEM_STS) are found empty. Nevertheles I need some informations that are in those tables. does anybody know if it is possible to display them, and how?

Hi,
What are output ports you selected when dragging the Data service into VC Designboard.
If you selct only one port related to HEADER and draging a Table from that port it gives onlthe dta related to Header.
I think you should select the Ports related to other s alos i.e ITEM and STS then drag a separate tables from them

1. There is a connector MDM. It is made by PCD. It has been tested. The test is ok.
2. However, as the data source in Visual Composer a connector MDM does not appear.
3. This problem affects all types of connectors, but the Web Service Connector. Connector Web Service is always there.
What the .....?
P.S. The role of the creator of the connector is the same user of Visual Composer

Visual composer - BAPI - current parameters

I created the custom BAPI (function module) in R/3. I added some import parameters in the function module, those newly added parameters are not visible in visual composer data services.
How do I, get the latest changes parameters in visual composer?

Im sorry the mentioned method works only for VC 7.1 in VC 7.0 there is a different method.
Choose Tools --> Options --> Compiler.
In Data Service Retrieval combo box
choose Donot cache data service get latest.
Log off from your model.
log on again and goto the context menu of your bapi.
then choose Define data Service your import parameters should appear now.

Hi,
Visual composer is a visual modeling tool where u can create applications raplidly without writing any code.Evrything can be done by dragging and dropping appropriate objects and asscoiating them.
The code will be generated by the visual composer itself.
Visual composer is mainly targeted on business experts who know what the applications should do, but have little idea about coding.
One important thing to note is that visual composer still cant be used to develop a full blown comprehensive application.In this stage it can be used for prototyping and for small applications..
And in some areas we have to still rely on coding..

I tried to create a module.. but the sap bw server is not mapping with visual composer. is any need to have special authorization for that.. if any please mention the authorization and role to be given to get mapping of bw server with visual composer.

Where is the Visual Composer CE 7.2

Dear team,
I downloaded the trial CE 7.2. It was installed successfully, Also SAP NWDS 7.1 was installed.
Now I need to design my business processes, but I can not find the Visual Composer.
What should I do?

Hi Carlos,
If you have installed CE7.2 then install NWDS 7.2 instead of NWDS 7.1. You'l get many features.
Also, in CE the VC is ingrated and a browser based application.
As Fabian said, you can access it by using the following url:
http://<your server host name>:<port>/VC/freestyle.jsp
Also, when you download the NWDS, you just get the kernel for the studio. You have to run the studio and then run the updates to install the features you want.

Visual Composer is designed with an open architecture, which enables developers to extend its design-time environment and modeling language, as well as to integrate external data services.
As a result, Visual Composer modelers increase productivity by reducing their development effort time from weeks and months to days. Domain experts gain the means to express their requirements directly rather than conveying them to developers. This narrows the gap between application definition and implementation.
Starting with a blank canvas, the Visual Composer user draws the application in Visual Composer Storyboard (workspace), without writing a single line of code. Since no traditional programming skills are needed, business process experts can prototype, design and produce entire applications.
A typical workflow for creating, deploying and running an application using Visual Composer is:
Create a model
Discover data services and add them to the model
Select necessary UI elements and add them to the model
