  • Does anyone in india recently replaced ur iphone 4 under warranty...........check out ur model number from settings general about model num.

i have replaced my ip4 and it does not match with our indian model num...........it is at&t usa model num.

It can't be an "AT&T" model if it works on your carrier.  As long as your phone isn't carrier locked to another carrier/location, it won't matter what model you have.
The only rare exceptions are models for China (which use a different WiFi and are locked into China Google) and certain middle east countries (which prohibit FaceTime).  Since neither would work properly where  you are, this is not an issue.

  • Im looking for the battery charger for my tablet is model num.TF300T, do you have it

    battery charger for tablet

I probably shouldn't be telling you this... but most large retail stores that sell tablets also sell the accessories in store for these charges (plug and adapter both) Normally go for about $20-30 bundled.

  • Droid RAZR Maxx HD Model #

So I'm confused theres ther razr hd and razr maxx hd the razr hd is model #xt926 and the razr maxx hd is suppose to be xt926m. I have the maxx hd but on the back of my phone the model just says  xt926 theres no M. Then on Motorolas website it says my software V should be 9.18.94.XT926.Verizon.en.US but my phone says 9.30.1.xt926.Verizon.en.us. It almost makes me think my phone is a standard razr hd and not a maxx after all my battery barely last 4 hours and my phone is basically stock I dont have a bunch of apps running in the background and I've shut off all the instant update stuff the push notifications GPS all that stuff. But my battery still doesn't last the 32 hours or what ever it is im lucky to get 5 hours 6 sometimes and I make maybe 2 or 3 calls a day no longer then 2 minutes each not on the internet for more then 30 minutes and send maybe 30 text a day.  Anyone have any input on any of these concerns?

Try going into the settings, scroll all the way to the bottom and tap about phone. The actually device model should be listed under "model numer".

  • Cannot find a mounting to install a second hard drive in my Qosmio x70-A

I have looked all over the internet and have gotten no where in my search for a mounting for the secondary hard drive bay in my laptop.  Anybody know where I can get one?
Also I've included pictures of the secondary drive bay and the primary bay.  From the looks of it I can't use the same type of mounting in the secondary bay as in the primary.

I have the same issue, and have found Toshiba support to be completely unacceptable on this.
After getting bumped around from sales to tech to sales because "we don't answer that question, you have to talk to the other guy", I finally got a "straight" answer from sales:
"Sir, we DO NOT sell that part, and therefore I CANNOT tell you a part or model number for the part you may need to install that second hard drive. The only thing you can do is talk to our parts supplier over at National Parts (1 800 524 8338) and ask them to provide you with the model numer or sell you the part."
At this point, I was annoyed, but thought that at least with a straight answer I could proceed.
After a very short hold time with National Parts, a very kind associate answered the phone and listened to my tale of woe. Unfortunately, she was unable to help and said:
"Unfortunately, sir, I have listed that while there is no caddy for the second hard drive slot on you X70-A specific model, there is supposed to be a mounting bracket. Unfortunately, we have been trying for MONTHS to have Toshiba give us the part number, spec, or any other information other than 'mounting bracket', and therefore I'm afraid we have neither a part to sell you nor a part number for you to go looking for one".
At this point annoyance is full-blown anger. How is it possible for Toshiba to make something that should be SO SIMPLE so VERY VERY VERY complicated and impossible.
"Sorry, if you didn't want to spring for the dual drives when you bought it, you're hosed forever sucker." Does not seem like an excellent customer service strategy.
This was the FIRST Toshiba I'd ever decided to spend my hard-earned money on, and now it's a machine I can't upgrade because they can't get their act together with their parts supplier or in-house over a 3 dollar bracket?
    UNACCEPTABLE.
The pictures the original poster shows are exactly what I have, no need to add more o fthe same.
    ANY help, Toshiba?

  • Xdock Optical out to MD in?

    Hi there,
have just become the proud owner of an Xdock transmitter & receiver pair. Unfortunately, my pride is draining away fast!
I bought this to connect to a Sony micro system that only has an MD (optical) in.
Having connected it up, I'm getting no sound. I have checked using the headphone socket that sound is indeed being produced.
Have been reading the manual that came with it, and am now fearing that it only outputs DTS encoded data.
I've no idea what the MD stream would be - plain stereo? - but any help appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Heeb

Thanks for the quick reply, but no, that's not the system (model num HCD-SE - it's a few yrs old, but otherwise a nice bit of kit).
My system has both MD in and MD Out - presume for recording from CD (I've naturally tried both!). Only other connection is CD optical out.
There is most definitely not any aux-in (wouldn't have purchased this almost lovely piece of kit otherwise)!.
I still fear it's some kind of encoded bitstream (DTS) coming out the dock, which the micro system just doesn't understand. If that's the case, I guess I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to the xdock to alter this?
    Thanks,
    Heeb
UPDATE - managed to track down the Sony system manual - says that the MD in is to connect an optional analog component.

  • Thinkcentre M52 8113 Graphics Card

I've just bought a Thinkcentre PC to replace a frankly superb laptop that decided it wanted to die; purchased a ATI 5450 1gb card too, but have since discovered that the Thinkcentre's don't like the ATI 5xxx series cards, and there are other huge compatibility issues when it comes to upgrading the video.
What PCI-e cards would be best suited for this PC (I can't find any comprehensive compatibility lists anywhere!)
Or, am I just better off getting a semi-decent standad PCI card.
    Cheers
    Simon

    Hello
    I have the Lenovo Thinkcentre M52 model 8125 EU1
I am interested in upgrading the video card.  Would nVidia GTS 450 card work?
I am interested in upgrading the processor any idea on this?
I am interested in replacing the fans inside with better fans any ideas on that?  I can take pics and get model num of fans if someone can help.
This is an old computer but I am upgrading it for different reasons.  #1 I have it tweaked to browse websites and perform MS Office functions faster than most people's year old computer.  #2 I am learning all the things I can upgrade and have already upgraded the HDD and RAM and prefer to learn on old rig.  #3 Sentimental.

  • Re: Satellite L500-126 dedicated VRAM

I bought Satellite L500-126 last week, I was told that the dedicated VRAM of this laptop is 512 MB in the shop, but when I check the VRAM at home, it shows 1G dedicated VRAM.
My old laptop is Satellite M70-147, I remember my old laptop uses a technology that doubles the real 128 VRAM to virtual 256 MB (I forgot the name of the technology).
Does my new L500-126 uses the same technology or this laptop's VRAM is real dedicated 1G?
    THX!

    hi doldrumsboy,
to check out which hardware is in your machine use tools like sandra or avast
or check it against the toshiba website with the modell numer of your L500.

  • Printing Problems (Brother HL2140 under XFCE)

I can't get my printer to work under Arch (I'm using XFCE). It works under Ubuntu fine, and it used to work under Arch before I did a clean install (a couple weeks ago). I've spent too many hours trying to figure this out. Can someone help please? (I've already tried everything on the Arch wiki page for the hl2140 printer.)
    I first installed these packages:
    cups
    brother-hl2140
    system-config-printer
Then I tried installing a bunch of other "cups" packages.
    After that, I installed these:
    hplip
    brother-lpr-drivers-common
    brother-lpr-drivers-laser1
    brother-cups-wrapper-common
    brother-cups-wrapper-extra
    brother-cups-wrapper-laser1
    Output of lsusb:
Bus 002 Device 006: ID 04f9:0033 Brother Industries, Ltd
I'm using system-config-printer. When I try to add the printer, it starts to search for drivers and then crashes. (I run system-config-printer with sudo. I've tried adding my home user to lp and a bunch of other groups, but I can't figure out which one will let me configure printers). Here's the output when it crashes:
No ID match for device usb://Brother/HL-2140%20series?serial=123456789:
    MFG:Brother;MDL:HL-2140 series;CMD:PJL,HBP;
    (system-config-printer.py:21895): Gdk-WARNING **: system-config-printer.py: Fatal IO error 11 (Resource temporarily unavailable) on X server :0.0.
Fail. So I tried using hp-setup, but it doesn't find anything, even though system-config-printer and lsusb do:
    Searching... (bus=usb, search=(None), desc=0)
error: No devices found on bus: usb
    Searching... (bus=usb, search=(None), desc=0)
error: No devices found on bus: usb
I've also tried using the openprinting driver (which worked before I reinstalled Arch). Here's my steps:
    cd ~/Downloads
    wget -o "hl2140.ppd" https://www.openprinting.org/ppd-o-matic.php?driver=hpijs-pcl5e&printer=Brother-HL-2140&show=0
    sudo lpinfo -v
    sudo lpadmin -p 'HL-2140' -E -v 'usb://Brother/HL-2140%20series?serial=123456789' -P "$HOME/Downloads/hl2140.ppd"
It installs fine, but when I try to print, it says that there's a problem printing it.
    Does anyone have any guidance?

Yeah I tried that one too, but still no luck unfortunately. There's no option for my model numer (HL-2140) on there.
    -----edit-----
Lol wow I figured it out. I was using wget instead of curl. I was using wget -o, which just makes an output log. No wonder cups couldn't use it! Lol I'm finding this way too hilarious that after all that work, it was that little command.

I just updated by bios as well. Now my fan will not stop!!!! This is my first HP laptop and I am not happy. Will call support tomorrow. Seems like they tried to fix my 90D error by turning the fan on all the time?
