Model Tree names do not come over in 3D PDF

I have Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro Extended and I am creating 3D PDFs from NX6. When I create a 3D PDF the model tree displays with generic model names, M1, M2, M3 ..., instead of my file names from NX, SHCS625X1-00, P-64-12. What setting(s) do I need to change so that my model tree names come into the PDF like it shows in the Help information?

Version 7 was very limited. Version 8 has the ability to do what you are asking. In version 9 they took much of that functionality away again. I capture my model in version 9, edit it in version 8 and finish off with setting up links and views in 9. The other important thing is that you can't compress the model in version 9 to the extent you can in version 8. For instance, I just finished a model that in version 9 weighed in at 39 MB but after compressing and tweaking in 8 was 7MB. The employer should be setting its Macs up with corporate Apple IDs and corporate volume licesnses for the software. Individual employees personal IDs do not provide the Licensed Copy End User License Agreement that the Macs need in a business evironment. Your personal Apple ID only carries a consumer license and by law any of your own apps that you install on the Mac will it is in your control would need to be removed when you turn the Mac back over to the company.
When a Mac is first set up the original Apple ID is always going to be associated with that Mac, its installed version of OS X and the preinstalled iLife apps. And only that ID can update the iLife apps if they were properly accepted into the Apple ID*. But you should be able to sign out of the active Apple ID in the Store menu of both the iTunes App and the Mac App Store app, then sign into your Apple ID to install any of your own content that you wish to have on the Mac.
*If the iLife apps were not correctly accepted into the setup Apple ID, then they cannot be updated and no one can buy them again on that Mac with any Apple ID.

Photosmart and Photo imaging had on old printer did not come over on new computer.

Hi, I had a HP photosmart poto imaging on my old computer but it did not come over onto my new computer. I really like this program because when I was copying home pictures for my family it allowed me to choose size of film, size of image and several at one time. I have tried to find something compatible and so far no luck. I tried copying it from old to new and that didn't work. I am hoping that there is a new program with the same abilities. Print shop and Publisher does not do what I want even though Stables said it would. These programs allows me to bring it over to Works but when I do that and I want to ajust size of image for several or to reduce size of a larger picture it can become distorted.Any suggestions about getting a new software program. I think they program originally came over when I had a camera and was transfering the images from it.so help

Which version of Acrobat are you using?
Which signature style are you talking about?
You can go ahead and try uninstalling and reinstalling it and see if that works for you .
Use the cleaner tool to uninstall it .Here is the link.

Banner does not come over in correct size from AI

I have an AI document that's 24"x60". When I bring into PS cs5 it does not come over in the same size. It show it's 48"x19".
When I increase the image and camvas things are not in the correct place.

I would double check to make sure that you have selected the options for syncing. Look over the article below to make sure you have the items that you want selected to sync over.

I had to restore my iPad recently and in opening Pages again found that even though I synced my iPad and backed it up my files did not come over to the restored iPad. Is there any way of recouperating them? Thanks!

working files aare not backed up as far as I know. You must either 1)"copy to itunes", then use itunes to save as... to your desktop machine. Or 2) use iCloud to keep the docs.
I also learned this the hard way. No way i know of to get the working docs back.

Photoshop Layer Styles do not come over to FCP

I have a .psd file. It's a logo on one layer with a blank (alpha channel) as the background. I want to put a stroke on the logo. In photoshop, I use blending options to add my stroke.
When I import the file into FCP, it does not have the stroke. I tried other effects (drop shadow, bevel, etc) and none of those come over to FCP either.
So is it known that photoshop does not recognize the photoshop layer styles? Or am I doing something wrong?

Even if I can somehow do this, why can't FCP just understand these layer styles... It works so well with photoshop, but there's this one issue. And if I rasterize it, I'm not going to be able to make it bigger later. Kind of defeats the purpose of wanting to go back and edit it later on..

Report Name does not come when converted to HTML format.

We are using Report Builder 10.1.2.3.0 to convert a .rep file to HTML. We need the HTML output file to feed to a reports to xls converter.
Problem is, the html output does not have the report name. Report name (and also date, time. user, page etc.) are in the margin section. For some reason, it wont print the report name in the html. It works fine when I run it in the builder.

Why is this??? The property palette for a label that is printing in all pages (like Date ) is the same as for the report name (GL EXTRACT DETAIL REPORT), BUT it does not appear in the HTML output???
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
PS: We use rwrun.exe with desformat=HTML.

Cos, we are trying to generate an MS Excel version of every report. For this, we use a tool called rep2excel, and it users as in input an HTML file. So, we have to generate the HTML from the rep and feed it to that.
So, since we have 200 odd reports, we will have to change all of them, that is why.

Imported video but audio did not come over

I imported a .flv file - the video came over but the audio did not. I can see the mouse movement on the video but no sound. Any ideas?

Please describe in more details what you did. The usual and recommended way to backup and restore is the built-in method of the Organizer:

Your keywords (tags) are by stored by default in the catalog. You can also 'Write metadata to files' if you wish, but an Organizer restore does restore the tags of the files in the restored catalog; that is only necessary if you re-import the pictures in a new catalog or if you use another backup software.

Do you mean you got the hierarchy of categories and tags restored in the keyword panel, but that none of those keywords were assigned to pictures?

Folder names do not come up while bundling food apps like Starbucks, Dominos, Open table etc

I am trying to group all the food related apps I have on my iPhone and the folder doesn't give an option to name them. I was grouping Starbucks, Dominos, Opentable and Dunkin Donuts apps.

I am aware of that. When you try to pair say open table with Starbucks app, the suggested name doesn't appear.
I did have a workaround, where I created a folder with some other two apps, got a suggested name, then renamed that folder to say 'Food'. After which I added the food apps and removed the apps I used to create the folder in first place.
But as I stated above, if I try to pair say open table with Starbucks app, the suggested name doesn't come up nor is there an option to add a new name.
