Modeling over Internet with BPA

Can we use Oracle BPA for modeling business processes over internet?
(can modeling be done through web browser... if the BPA (client) is not installed )
if yes what are the components needed to make this happen? (Application server kind off !)
(if one guy is sitting outside the company network and wants to do modeling by accessing repository .. how is this possible without client installation of BPA)

you can install Oracle BPA Suite Web Client Components, it is in the installation guide in paragraph 3.4.1.4
Before you can run it you need to run Run Oracle Business Process Repository Setup on the computerwhere your Web server is installed.
Hope this helps,

  • Two EX90 devices can make video calls over Internet with No VCS-C and VCS-E

    Dear Experts;
I  have just started TelePresence and VCS 2 weeks before by going through cisco docs and videos and I had taken a risk of implementing the infrastructure elements.
We are now implementing Cisco Tele presence with VCS-C, VCS-E TMS,TCS,MCU and End points with  Jabber in One setup.
and in another setup CUCM 10.5,UCCX 10.5 IM&P,Jabber with some 10 agents.
Now the question is In our same building in 2nd floor we have one EX90 and in 5th Floor one EX90 and over LAN we can make video calls using IP address.
In the same way is it possible to make  a video call between 2 EX90 devices present in different location in the same city over Internet without the involvement of VCS-C and VCS-E.
    Appreciate your valuable reply.
    Regards
    Debashis

The simple answer to that is NO! Where is the EX90 registered to at the moment? Is it on the VCS? or CUCM

  • XML messages over Internet with JMS?

    Hello everyone,
I was just wondering, is it possible to send XML messages over the internet using JMS?? And if so, where can I get some resources about that, and about the nessecary architecture?
If this is not possible, what other messaging service would you suggest?? I am building a multiuser application, in which users communicate via some application server. Is JMS not an overkill for this?? Since there is no real B2B here, but just users who send a-synchronous messages? Is there some lighter alternative??
    Thanks!!
    Jan Willem Tulp

    Jan,
if QoS is important to you then JMS may not be overkill. Most appservers like Borland, IONA, HP/Bluestone and BEA provide JMS facilities already. What appserver are you using? Does it support JMS?
There are many cases of companies doing what you want to do, both internally and externally with their partners over the Net.

  • Access Time Capsule over internet with Windows??

Is this possible? I have a MobileMe account, and if required a dynamic dns hostname.
My Time Capsule is behind a router. What firewall settings do I need to allow?
    Thanks

I'd suggest going over to http://www.dyndns.org and pick up a dynamic DNS. that will allow you to access your Timecapsule even if your ip address changes.
typically Windows wont work with afp:// addresses (which is appleshare) Windows natively uses SMB:// (samba/windows filesharing) you should be able to set up the smb sharing using timecapsule.
Looking at the time capsule setup, it looks like smb:// is automatically supported so you should type
    smb://TCexternal_IPaddress
    instead of afp://

After a week's worth of debugging, I found the issue.
The Java type returned from the call was defined as ArrayList.  Changing it to List resolved the problem.
I'm not sure why ArrayList isn't a valid return type, I've been looking at the Adobe docs, and still can't see why this isn't valid.  And, why it works in Debug mode and not in Release build is even stranger.  Maybe someone can shed some light on the logic here to me.

I am using several Macs running Yosemite. I was recently “upgraded” to Xfinity’s new cable modem which can support both 2.5Ghz and 5Ghz networks at the same time. Actually I can connect to the internet over both with a satisfactory bump in speed for the Ghz. However when I connect to the 5Ghz the Time capsule disappears from the Airport Utility and claims to be Not Found. Is there something I have done wrong or just a Yosemite Teething Problem

First restart your mac and try again.
    It could be
that the router and the TC are interfering wirelessly with each other.
You can check this by pressing the option key while clicking on the wireless icon on your screen
    Open Wireless Diagnostics
    enter your user password
    Press CMD 4 then Scan
You will see all the wireless channels being used in your location and you can check if they are on the same channel
Make the SSID for the TC simple like MyTC
    Set 5Ghz to auto
    Update the TC
    Try again

You can do an out-of-warranty replacement at an Apple Store for a fee, get a 3rd party site to repair it, sell it for parts, or get a new one.

  • Access To Time Capsule Over Internet

Like a personal "Dropbox" I would like to access the files on my Time Capsule securely over the internet with my iphone, mac or pc.. is this possible? I really appreciate your help

The only secure method is vpn.. all the products listed.. iphone, mac and pc offer vpn clients.
TC is vpn-less .. at least from your point of view. (I think BTMM uses ipsec but it is unavailable to end user).
You should buy a vpn router or modem router which matches your broadband type. These are readily available but you need to balance expensive professional series and over cheap domestic stuff that offers vpn but doesn't deliver.. I find draytek for instance makes stuff that works.. is reliable and whilst expensive is not Cisco prices.. and still uses standard gui to setup. Better level netgear and linksys-cisco also have some good models. (what happens to linksys now sold to belkin I don't know).
Some of the third party firmware are also very good.. Not sure what is available for pogoplug but you can probably get something.. I would tend to go for standard brand and go for pptp vpn in the first instance as it is easiest if not the most secure.
How important is doing this? Remember your speed is limited by upload in both directions.. most of us have downloads at least 5-10x the speed of upload.. but you get are caught running home network to mobile by upload in both direction.. That is why cloud storage is so much better.. faster and just as secure.. and a lot less hassle setting up.
The other thing is to scrap the TC (use it for TM only) and use a NAS.. most NAS offer decent remote access. HTTPS or SFTP.. often they have several options. The limitation of the TC is Apple wants to control access remotely to it.. and so only allow you access via them. That is why there is no DDNS client available to you.. without static public ip it is really painful to use.

  • WRT 120N- Cannot connect to the internet with more than one PC at a time.

Before I went on a three month vacation,I could connect 3 or 4 PC's either wireless or wired to my router with no problems at all.I have a desk top and a laptop computer which I use at home. After I returned,I found that I could connect to the internet with only one PC at a time.
If I was say, connected via my laptop,my desk top would continuously keep getting disconnected and vice versa.I have been reading the suggestions from experts here and have done a few checks based on them.I also cannot get to my router page which is 192.168.1.1 I keep getting a message that says "Problem Loading Page" and this happens with both,Firefox and Internet Explorer.I am running Windows 7 - 32 bit on my desk top and Vista Home Premium on my laptop.
I have opened the "Command Prompt" dialogue and pinged 192.168.1.1 and thereafter I typed in "ipconfig".These are the results:

I presume that this model is a modem **bleep** router as I do not have a separate modem with my system.I have a DSL connection and the firmware version of my router is ver.1.0.If I recall,I did upgrade to the next firmware upgrade a few months after I purchased the router but I am not sure.
I use both my PC's to run a small business venture and I am worried that resetting the router may cause some other problems and will stop me from using the internet.
The Command Prompt information above was taken from my laptop.
Any help will be really appreciated.

I suggest resetting the router. Make sure firmware is updated. You can download it here - http://homesupport.cisco.com/en-us/support/routers/WRT120N. After firmware upgrade, reset and reconfigure. Just access the link below to guide you setting up the router.

  • How Can I choose Iphone 5s models that work with LTE in Brazil. The Iphone needs to Support Band 7. If I buy the wrong model can apple change it ?

I am planning to buy an Iphone 5s in October, but I have to make sure that the model will work with the LTE services we have in Brazil. I know that Apple made 2 Models that support Band 7. See Below.
    Model A1457*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20)
    Model A1530*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); FDD-LTE (Bands 1, 2, 3, 5, 7, 8, 20); TD-LTE (Bands 38, 39, 40)
How can I make sure I will buy the correct model through the internet ? Can Apple change the Iphone In case they send the model that does not support LTE services in Brazil ?

Have you personally tried those models with Brazilian LTE networks? Do they work? If so, fine.  If not, then besides that, there is the problem of the warranty which is not international. The user will have to return the phone back to the country of purchase for both warranty and out of warranty service. So what might seem cheaper at first glance might not be in the end.
Anyways, it your money and the OP's should he want to go ahead with your recommendation.

  • How do I connect to the internet with Airport Expess?

In Airport Utility I get an orange icon and the Airport Express light is green. In the internet box

As a minimum, in order to gain access to the Internet with an AirPort Express base station, you will need an Internet Service Provider (ISP) AND an Internet modem or gateway device.
What is the make & model of the Internet modem or gateway device that you have the AirPort Express directly connected to by Ethernet? What exact model of Express do you have?

I just got my Airport express and I've been trying to configure it to connect to the internet but it doesn't work and I can't find info on the configurations. I have an ethernet "modem" which I used to connect the cable coming from it to the computer and now I connect it to my Airport. Although the green light is on and in network preferences, it tells me I'm connected to the internet, I can't browse the internet with Safari, etc. I've been trying to find information on how to configure the base station in Airport Admin Utility but there is no specific information. Is there anyone who could help me telling me how to set up the IP adress, if I need one, DHCP, preferences in Airport Admin Utility?? If the ethernet cable is connected to the computer directly I don't need a user ID or anything... It's all setup automatically.

  • Getting bars but no internet with new airport extreme

    HI,
I purchased a new AEBS for my restaurant. I set it up and it worked great. My Powerbook g4 was connecting and I was getting internet fine. The next time I went to the restaurant and opened my Powerbook I was getting airport bars but was unable to connect. My son has a Powerbook as well and he is connecting just fine. Several customers came in with Macs and they were also unable to connect. I know I'm getting internet from the modem. I've tried unplugging both the modem and AEBS and then reconnecting with no resolution. I've tried to re-set up the AEBS but it says it is not getting the IP address. I'm about to throw out the AEBS and go get a Linksys!
I've read other posts of folks with this same problem and one of the solutions is to roll back to a previous firmware version. How is that done?
    Powerbook G4 aluminum, 1.25ghz
    Thanks for any help

I have no problem gettiing the Macbook pro to set itself up on the Airport Network. I can NOT, though, access the internet. I even tried to type in the IP address for the DSL modem while connected to Airport base and can not connect to modem. Does anyone have any advice? Is there a bridging function in the Airport Base that has to be activated?
Make sure you perform a complete power recycle when switching network components.
    Modem/Router Power ReCycling
    - Power-off the DSL modem & AEBS. (Wait at least 30 minutes. If possible, leave the modem off overnight.)
    - Power-on the DSL modem; Wait at least 30 minutes.
    - Power-on the AEBS; Wait at least 5 minutes.
If that doesn't resolve the problem, and your DSL ISP requires PPPoE for connectivity, you will need to set that up on your AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) as follows:
Connect your computer directly (using an Ethernet cable) to the LAN port of the AEBS, and then, using the AirPort Admin Utility, check these settings:
    Internet tab
    - Connect Using: PPP over Ethernet (PPPoE)
    - Account Name: <ISP account name>
    - Change password: <ISP password>
    - Always stay connected (checked)
    - WAN Ethernet Port: Automatic
Another question. If I replace my current DSL Router with a wireless router, do I even need the airport base if all I want to do it connect to the internet with the laptop?
No, the AEBS will no longer be required.

  • How to control and display video from IP camera using ActiveX control over Internet.

    Hello,
I need to control my IP cameras over the internet. I need to log into the cameras and then display the video.  There's an ActiveX control registered on the computer and works fine with IE to access and control the cameras. Controlling the cameras using IE works fairly well, but there are some quirks that I'd like to eliminate by using my own custom code.
Has anyone created a vi that controls a Foscam FI8905W over the Internet? I’ve attempted, but I keep getting a catastrophic failure when I try to call ManagementConnect Method in the DVM_IPCam2 ActiveX Control Module V1.0. I'm not sure whether I need to establish an IP connection with the cameras first, or allow the ActiveX control to establish it for me.
Some example code would be greatly appreciated. Running LabVIEW 2011 on a Win7 32bit.  Even some code used to control a similar device using ActiveX over Internet would be helpful.

I have an example vi for interfacing to the foscam activex.
I plan on using mouse click events within the activex window to trigger the PT function.
I only have the basic up/down/right/left directions and not the down-right/down-left/up-right/up-left in the enum.  You can load the camera's web page and view the source to see the Java script code that uses the activex control.  There are definitions for the other directions.
I had to mark the control as "Disabled" to keep click events from going to the activex control.  If I double click the control, it goes full screen.  If I then click on it to get out of full screen mode the video never returns or returns to the wrong spot in the VI.

Since you didn't include any pertinent info such as the Mac model and OS version you are running, here is some general information:
Mac OS X: Gray screen appears during startup
Depending on which OS yours came with originally - and which OS you are now running - you would either need your original install disks - you can call Apple for replacements by giving them your serial number. Or you may be able to reinstall the OS by using recovery (again, depends on which model/which OS).
