Modifier fichiers PDF

Je n'arrive pas à modifier mes fichiers PDF. L'orsque je numérise certains sont protégés par un mot de passe.

Vous pouvez convertir et associer des fichiers au format PDF, mais vous ne pouvez pas modifier des fichiers PDF dans Adobe PDF Pack. Pour plus d’informations sur la modification de fichiers PDF, consultez l’Aide d’Acrobat.

Le format PDF n'est pas forcément le meilleur support pour la correction attendu que ce dernier est un format "fini". Il vaut mieux travailler sur le logiciel d'origine quite à utiliser le PDF pour les annotations et les échanges. Après tout dépend des modifications à apporter car il existe des plugins professionels permettant l'édition de PDFs mais je ne les crois pas adaptés étant donné votre activité et leurs tarifs.
Vous pouvez utiliser Google docs par exemple pour une gestion "dynamique" de vos contenus.

je vous écris car j'ai besoin d'aide.
En effet, depuis que j'ai installé la nouvelle version d'Adobe Reader (9), il m'est impossible d'ouvrir des fichiers pdf!
Le message d'erreur apparaît: Internet Explorer a cessé de fonctionner. Un problème a fait que le programme a cessé de fonctionner correctement. Windows va fermer ce programme et vous indiquer si une solution est disponible. Fermer ce programme.
Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'indiquer ce que je dois modifier afin de solutionner ce problème?

Since you mention Internet Explorer, I assume that you are on Windows. I suggest the following
uninstall Reader 9 via Add/Remove Programs;
download the latest Reader 9.3.0 (French version) http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3/fra/AdbeRdr930_fr_FR.msi (save to disk);
download the 9.3.1 update http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3.1/misc/AdbeRdrUpd931_all_incr.msp (save to disk);
download the 9.3.2 update http://ardownload.adobe.com/pub/adobe/reader/win/9.x/9.3.2/misc/AdbeRdrUpd932_all_incr.msp (save to disk);
now close all browser windows, then run the downloaded installer, followed by the two updates.
Let us know how it goes.

Can I modify a pdf file containing a signature field prior to download?

I have a pdf file I use as a template and in my .net application I fill in a few fields using pdfstamper, iTextsharp, etc. I'm new to this.
That all works.
I also have a signature field in my document.
After I modify the fields, with the person's name, etc., I download it to the client machine, open it in Adobe Reader X, and ask the user to sign the document.
I get an error saying "This document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The doc hsa been changed since it was created and the extended features are no longer available......"
Is there a way for me to do what I'm trying to do? I hope this is somewhat clear. It appears that modifying the fields with itextsharp is what's causing the error to occur.

More specifically, here's what I'm doing. There's a desk where people come to pick up a gift card. When someone picks one up, a clerk runs this .net program, selects the persons name form a dropdown list, I modify a pdf file (using iTextSharp), by adding the person's name, the serial number of the giftcard, etc, download this file to the client desktop, where the person signs using an ePad. Then the clerk saves that pdf file.
The clerk will not be able to go into the menus and remove and/or save Reader Usage Rights. Is there a way through code that I can add Reader Usage Rights after I modify the file. It sounds from your replies that that's what I need to do.
Also, I don't really care about the official "signature", security, certificates, etc. I just want someone to be able to scribble onto the document using a signature pad.
I do have Acrobat Pro X and LiveCycle. (I assume that means I have LCR Extensions.)

Modifying a PDF created from an Adobe Forms Central form.

I've created a PDF from an Adobe Forms Central online form (Create PDF from web page). I was surprised that all of the text fields were created for me, but was happy that I may not have to reverse engineer everything.
However the layout for the form is for a web-based submission and not really the right size for a PDF that I can attach in an email, potentially for printing. I'd like it to be printable at 8.5X11 if possible. There are also a few aspects of it that I would like to remove since it has instructions and the button for online submission. I want people to have the option of printing or filling out the form, saving it, and replying with it as an attachment.
Is it possible to modify the PDF at this point to reduce its size? Can I remove the instructions on what to do as well as the submit button, especially while saving the background coloring? It seems like there is quite a bit of wasted space with the headers/footers too. At 8.5X14, it still hangs over into page 2.

Steve, if you have access to the form in Formscentral, you can temporarily add a second page in Formscentral. Go to the place you want a page break, and click on the + button on the left top of the field where you want the break, and click on the "Page break". Now when you go to the HTML form it should show you only one page, with a next button to go to the second page. You could then copy the URL into Acrobat's "Create PDF" and get tha page. Then click on the next button in the HTML to go to the second page. You should be able to create the second page from that one too, and then combine the 2 pages in your PDF. When you're done you could remove the page break back in Formscentral.

How to modify a PDF after signing

Our company has recently been upgrading from Adobe 8 to Adobe X (more specifically 10.1.10.) In Adobe 8 there is an ability to add/subtract pages after a signature has been signed, however this does not work in Adobe X with the default settings and I have not located a way to adjust this. Within the company there is a department in legal/accounting that handles the creation of PDF documents from basically start to finish. During their creation process there needs to be two signature: one for the creator of the document (this field is important enough that I cannot simply copy an ID/key so that anyone can sign anyone’s name however it is not important enough that it needs to lock a document or prevent any changes including adding/subtracting pages.) The creator will start a document sign and then pass it on where it will be modified, pages will be added/subtracted and words may be rearranged. Once it has been revised a couple to even a few time a second signature will lock the document. Is this still possible in Adobe Acrobat X Pro or Standard? Thank you in advance.

AFAIK the signature validation rules were significantly strengthen in Acrobat 9 and later. I do not remember whether adding pages was among those. BTW, by "subtracting pages"do you mean "deleting pages"? You could never delete a page in a signed document without invalidating the signature. Generally, in order to be able to modify signed PDF the original PDF, before the first signature, needs to be certified with certification permissions for specific actions, like permission to add more signature and fill form fields. You can certify the original PDF in Acrobat and its UI gives you a few certification permissions options. Adding pages is not in this list. LiveCycle has a more elaborate set of certification permissions but this is a fairly expensive solution and I do not remember whether Adding pages is in its permissions list.

How do I modify a PDF file that I created

I'm using Adobe Acrobat Pro X with Windows 7 Professional 64 bit.
From Adobe I selected 'Create' and choose 'PDF from File' and I selected a Word document.
Adobe converted the Word document to a PDF and it look great!!!!!
I want to modify the PDF file and change the 'text', but it will not let me.
Will I have to convert the Word document to a PDF everytime I want to change 'text'?

If you are saying you created a form from the DOC file, that may be a bit of an issue. First, you would generally edit the label in just the way that was mentioned with the text edit tool. However, it may depend on how you created the form. The creation process is important and that may be the problem. If it was created with the Designer tool, then you can not edit anything in Acrobat. Designer creates a XML form that is not compatible with the Acrobat tools. You may be able to edit it in Designer, but not Acrobat. You should still be able to go back to WORD and recreate the PDF.
If you created the form manually and don't want to deal with recreating the fields, the print the WORD doc to a new PDF using the Adobe PDF printer. Then open your form and use Replace pages to put the revised document behind the fields. The fields will remain intact.
Again, if the form was created in Designer, you may have to do such changes in Designer.

Ouverture de fichier PDF avec Acrobat X Pro/Adobe Reader

J'ai un petit problème :
Depuis que j'ai installé Acrobat X Pro, tout mes fichiers PDF veulent s'ouvrir avec ce logiciel.
Le problème est qu'il ne démarre pas, parfois j'ai de la chance et 1-2 minutes plus tard il se lance
Quand je lance Acrobat X Pro depuis l'éxecutable, sans passer par un fichier, ça ne marche pas non plus. Et Distiller X non plus.
Je peux donc faire clic droit sur le .pdf et faire "ouvrir dans adobe reader 10" et le logiciel gratuit adobe reader s'ouvre en moins de 2secondes.
Alors j'ai voulu mettre que les fichiers .pdf s'ouvraient par défaut avec Adobe Reader quand je double-clique sur ces fichiers.
Mais là, l'image du fichier a changé en une icône toute moche :
Comment puis-je remédier au fichier moche de droite, mais en l'ouvrant avec Adobe Reader ?
Ou alors en faisant en sorte de Acrobat X Pro arrive à se lancer
Je suis en Windows 7 Familiale Premium (un ordi en 32x et un autre en 64x)

PS : ah et pendant que j'y suis, est-ce que je peux enlever les :

Problème avec Adobe Reader XI pour la lecture fichier PDF

Possesseur d'une UC avec Windows 8 64Bits, les fichiers PDF que j'ouvre avec Adobe Reader XI se bloquents lors du chargement de la page.
Le symbole animé de chargement d'Adobe Reader (un cercle avec des traits qui tournent dans le sens des aiguilles) se bloque. Je suis obligé de fermer le logiciel Adobe Reader XI avec le gestionnaire des tâches et obligé d'utiliser un logiciel open source pour la lecture des fichiers PDF.
Quelqu'un pourrait-il m'aider ?

Sur mon iPad, lorsque je reçois un fichier pdf par courrier électronique, il s'ouvre instantanément en coup d'œil. Moi je voudrais pouvoir l'ouvrir dans Adobe Reader afin de pouvoir utiliser les outils d'annotations. Pouvez-vous m'indiquer comment faire?

Runtime error, impossible d'ajouter les fichiers pdf sur itunes

Depuis la mise a jour, je n'arrive plus à mettre un fichier PDF dans la bibliothèque itunes
cela me met un message d'erreur* et m'oblige à quitter itunes sans raison
pour la musique çà marche, c'est uniquement pour les livres et les pdf que cela ne fonctionne plus alors que cela fonctionnait très bien avant cette mise à jour.
merci pour votre aide, je galère depuis presque une semaine.

Voici une autre solution pour ceux, comme moi, qui ont toujours le message d'erreur "Runtime error":
Dans la barre des menus cliquez sur "Présentation" puis sur "Afficher la barre latérale".
Ensuite séléctionner le fichier dans le dossier ou il se trouve (si vous avez plusieurs fichiers qui ne sont pas à la suite vous pouvez séléctionner le fichier un par un tout tout en appuyant sur la touche Ctrl dans le cas inverse appuyez sur la touche majuscule Shift).
Avec la souris cliquez et faire basculer vos fichiers voulus en haut de la barre latérale (en dessous de bibliothèque). La zone de la barre dans iTunes deviendra bleu. Relachez ensuite la souris.
Pour vous assurez que le basculement vers l'iTunes a bien eu lieu regardez dans "Livres".
Si c'est bon, vous pouvez maintenant synchroniser sinon refaite la manipulation.
