Modify ACH file format in F110

Hi everyone
I have to modify the ACH file format using PMW
How do i proceed?
Do I copy the function module FI_PAYMEDIUM_ACH_30 and add the necessary codes
then assign it to event 30 in FBZP or there is a BTE to enhance the event modules?
thanks a lot for your help

Prema,
Yes, you should copy the standard function modules;
add your coding;
replace the standard FM with your own in the relevant nodes.
However, if your bank has capability of accepting EDI (Idocs) transmission, then go that route. I found this way much better and flexible. Although you end up having lot of Idocs.
regards,
Vishal.

  • Submitting 3rd party payment garnishments via ACH file format

Our Payroll Services is required by leglistation to submit child support garnishments electronically.  We wish to submit the employee garnishment details in an ACH file format.
Do we have the ability to specifiy which details from IT0194 and IT0195 get created in the ACH file?  If so how?
I have not been able to find this solution in configuration or a user exit.  Is a customization required or a BADI?
We have been able to generate a Remittance Table  from the 3rd Party Remittance Evaluation Run, but it shows a number of unnecessary and blank fields.  We need other data, such as the Case Identifier Number, Employee Name, SSN, Status, Vendor ID, Order Type, Deduction $ Amount, etc...
    Thank you.

    Hi Manny,
    A couple of more questions:
    1. You mention PMW calls a function module which retrieves the HR info and fills the addenda garnishment info.  Which function module is this?
    2. You suggest we copy the standard format ACH and modify it.  Which one is the "standard" and how do we modify it?  Does this involve a user exit? Or is it just the configuration steps mentioned above?  Can you provide more specific instructions on the config?
    3.  Can we produce multiple emplooyee garnishment info detailed records in one ACH file or is it one ACH file per employee?
    4.  About how long would this take to configure and set up?
    5.  We are able to generate an ACH CCD file, but we cannot get the SSN or Case ID to appear.  Instead of these details, we seem to receive an SAP system generated HR ID for the record.
Thanks very much for looking into this.

  • ACH File Format

    Hi Experts,
I need to add a Header Record '$$ADD ID=NPIUSRF1 BID='NWFACH98000114' to the ACH File while processing DME.
I have gone through the Report Documentation which has a few User exits wherein the Header recored can be modified.
But i just need to ADD a header record to the existing one.
How do I do this ?
    Regards,
    Somdeb.

    Hi Ted,
Thank You for the prompt response.  I am sorry but I may sound like a novice.
Presently my client downloads the ACH File from SAP system and adds this Header Record manually each time before sending it to the bank.
Through shell script, will the process be automated ?
Do we need an integration betw SAP and non-SAP in this case ? If yes, how can it be achieved ?
We were trying to tweak the Pgm RFFOUS_T into a Z* by hard-coding the Header Record. Is it a good idea ?

  • How to modify ACH PPD format?

    Hi experts:
I was hoping somebody could give me a few pointers in how to modify this
I believe the name of the Payment medium format for ACH PPD is ACH_FG_BULK.
    Thanks,

    Hi Rios,
Could you share what were the steps you followed after enhancing the Function Modules.
Actually i was doing the same scenarion in which i need to hardcode some characters at some positions in the file. So i have copied the function modules FI_PAYMEDIUM_ACH_20  and FI_PAYMEDIUM_ACH_30 to ZFI_PAYMEDIUM_ACH_20 and ZFI_PAYMEDIUM_ACH_30. And both have been assigned to different Function Group.
And these both are placed in ZACH format, which is assgined to 'T' to trigger the same to generate the file. Do the data flow from the standard ones to the ZFMS.
OR WHAT WOULD BE THE CORRECT WAY TO DO IT.

  • ACH File for FF68 transactions

    Hi Experts,
Is there a way to generate ACH file for the checks (incoming payments) posted through transaction FF68? Appreciate your thoughts...
    Thanks
    RK

    Hi
I have requirement that customers are making payments by Phone - they call the AR department and provides a check number (we already have their routing and bank account number in customer master data) for the payments.
At the end of the day - they will upload all their payment information in ACH file format into a secured bank website. Next business day, bank processes the checks and sent back a statement with cleared and un-cleared checks.
I am planning to use FF68 to enter payments with the check number. but not sure If I can generate ACH file for Manual check deposits.
My requirement  - Is there a way to generate ACH file for the manual check deposits?

  • How to change ACH File ID Modifier in ACH CCD File in SAP SAPFPAYM program?

    Hi,
We are using ACH CCD File transmission using PMW to send ACH file to get incoming customer payment to the bank. In one F110 run, we have multiple house banks in a single company code, so we will have three different files to send. Here our issue is since these three files are generated through a single payment run, the date and time stamp on the three files will be same so we will have the same File ID Modifier in the Header record of the ACH file. But bank is not able to identify these three files as unique files because the File ID Modifier is same for all three files. In SAP unless these files are generated at different time, they all will have same File ID Modifier. Now we need to change this as per banks requirement. Can any one please help me on how to do this?
    Thanks,
    Ramesh

    Hi Ramesh,
Agree with your last comments about File ID of DMEE file.
But if bank is same but has different accounts in different branches, to distinguish them we have SWIFT code or IBAN.
The same file means the same DMEE generated file, probably with different tags with different data. As long as the final bank is same for ex. ICICI, it may have branches in different states but usually the format will be same for a bank , but the value of the tags may differ for different branches.
    Cheers,

If you are working with a file you modified in Lightroom, you should go to the Lightroom Photo menu and choose Edit in... and the version of Photoshop you want to open it in.
There a dialog will ask if you want to transfer the LR settings you made to your photo when you open in Photoshop.

  • What is the best software programs that I can use to read, write and modify data / files on external HD (NTFS format i.e.  Windows) ?

    Hi guys,
I’m new to Mac and have a MacBook Pro Lion OS (10.6.8 I think !!!) with Parallels 7 (Windows 7) installed. Can someone please tell me what is the best software program that I can use to read, write and modify data / files on external HD (NTFS format) from the Mac OS ? I heard of Paragon and Tuxera NTFS. Are they free ? Are they good ? Are there any other software programs out there ? I heard that some people have issues with Paragon.
    Thanks.

Your best bet would be to take the drive to the oldest/compatible with that drive Windows PC and grab the files off, right click and format it exFAT (XP users can download exFAT from Microsoft) and then put the files back on.
Mac's can read and write all Windows files formats except write to NTFS (and in some cases not read) so if you can change the format of the drive to exFAT (all data has to be remove first) then you will have a drive that doesn't require paid third party NTFS software (a license fee goes to Microsoft) for updates.
Also it's one less hassle to deal with too.

  • ACH Payment Process in F110 Program

    Hi SAP folks,
I am having a small issue with ACH payment process through F110 Program.
I am using Payment program RFFOUS_T for a payment method " A" for ACH and all variant and other configuration is perfect.
When I execute F110 program, it create DME file for me and let's say I clear one vendor with one invoice only then in DME file I can see record 1, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 and file is 100% good to transfer to bank.
Now If I have two Invoice for same vendor and I execute the same process, record 7 with is Addendum record disappears and I will have only 1, 5, 6, 8 and 9.
Our requirement is that let's say we need to pay multiple almost 100 invoices per vendor and we would like to have records 1, 5, 6 and 100 7 records which contains all vendor invoice information and 8 & 9.
I am using CCD format but i guess with program RFFOUS_T it doesn't matter too much.
Has anybody face this issue before ? I have spent hell of the time on this issue but haven't resolved this. I would greatly appreciate your response on this.
    Thanks
    Perry

    Hi Perry
I think this problem is because of all the payment is grouped as one payment.  You need to make a separate payment for each vendor line items so that you get record 7 as many times as the number of vendor open items.
In FBZP, payment method in company code, there is an option where you can select SINGLE PAYMENT FOR MARKED ITEMS and also you need to give the payment method in each of the line items.
Hopethis helps.  We had the same requirement and we getting the expected result
    Thanks

  • 4F4 File Format Specification

Is there a file format specification document available for the 4F4 file format? The HTTP Dynamic Streaming product page has a link titled "Learn about the F4F file format specification" but the link leads to the FLV/F4V file format specification document.

It looks like F4M is a XML-based metadata protocol for video. I'm looking for F4F, which is a encapsulating protocol to divide FLV/F4V containers into fragments and segments.
Check out this packet dump from Limelight's demo site. This is a response with content type video/f4f, which seems to wrap a f4v file (moof/mfhd/traf keywords are visible, are these related to moov/mvhd/trak?).

  • Bank File and File Formats

When sending ach file to bank after it gets placed on application server (what is application server transaction code) a direct interface or not? If not what is a direct interface?
What is flat file and xml file. Please tell the difference with example??
What are various file formats sap supports for importing ebs in sap? What information should be requested from bank?

    Hi Sheena,
    1. Outbound files - You can create a ACH file in any format you want. SAP support text file, IDOC.
After you run your payment program - F110 - the last step is to create the payment medium. When you run this payment medium program it creates the file in a specific format as per your configuration. This file can be stored in your hard drive (C:) or in the SAP server based on the path given by you in the variant.
You can use T-code FDTA to view the file.
If it gets stored in C: you can just go to the directory and double click the file.
If it is stored in SAP server you can use transaction AL11 to view the file.
    2. Inbound file  - The electronic bank statements come in various formats. The most common formats are BAI in US, Multicash in Germany, MT940 in Europe. Each format has been defined separately, you can go to Googe and search for details about these format.
SAP has standard program which read these formats and post them to your General Ledger.
If you have more questions, please post them and I would try to answer.

  • I would like to know how i can save an byte array to a mat file format (matlab file format '*.mat') within to use the matlab API

So, I search the binary matlab file format('*.mat').

    Title:
Moving Data Between MATLAB® and LabVIEW
    Problem:
How can I share data between LabVIEW and the MATLAB environment?
    Solution:
MATLAB users can move data between the
MATLAB environment and LabVIEW, you have several options. Prior to
LabVIEW 5.1, the only way to transfer data between these two
environments was to use the Save and Load functions. Those are discussed herein.
    Beginning
in LabVIEW 8.0, MathScipt was introduced. MathScript is an integrated
part of LabVIEW that you can use to combine intuitive graphical
dataflow programming with math-oriented textual programming. See the
attached links below for more information on MathScript.
    Beginning
in LabVIEW 5.1, the MATLAB script node was introduced into the LabVIEW
programming environment. The MATLAB script node makes ActiveX calls to
the MATLAB software from within LabVIEW. This requires that both MATLAB
be installed on the same machine and that a valid license is obtained.
More information on the MATLAB script node can be found in the attached
    KB's.
For all versions of LabVIEW, this data transfer can be
performed by saving the data in a file using the MATLAB software and
reading it directly from LabVIEW, or vice versa. In the MATLAB
environment, the command "save" allows you to save the data in
binary format (*.mat) or ASCII format. You also have an option of
saving it in ASCII format using a tab delimiter between data points and
the command "load" allows you to read in the data.
    ASCII Format
Complete the following steps to import or export data between LabVIEW and the MATLAB environment using an ASCII file format.
From the MATLAB environment to LabVIEW
To save a vector or a matrix X in tab-delimited ASCII format, enter the following in the command window or m-script file in the MATLAB environment:
    >>SAVE filename X -ascii -double -tabs
This creates a file named filename containing data X in tab-delimited ASCII format.
Import the file into LabVIEW using the Read From Spreadsheet File VI located on the Functions»File I/O palette.
From LabVIEW to the MATLAB environment
To export a matrix X from LabVIEW to the MATLAB environment, first save the data in ASCII format in LabVIEW using the Write To Spreadsheet File VI on the Functions » File I/O palette.
Enter the following in the command window of the MATLAB environment, or in the m-script file:
    >> LOAD filename
This reads the data into the MATLAB environment.
    Binary Format
Complete the following steps to import or export data between LabVIEW and the MATLAB environment.
From the MATLAB environment to LabVIEW
As mentioned above, LabVIEW does not save multiple variables to one
data with extra manipulation, and will not be discussed here.
Therefore, the only way of sending the data from the MATLAB environment
to LabVIEW without tampering with the MAT binary file structure is
using the ASCII format. Also, please bear in mind that you need to have
    one file for one variable.
From LabVIEW to the MATLAB environment
    Because
the MATLAB software saves data in its own binary format, the "MAT"
file, binary LabVIEW data must be converted to this format prior to
transferring the data. The attached examples can be used to save
LabVIEW data in the MATLAB software format. The convenience of the .MAT
file format is that more than one variable can be saved in the same
file. The example shows saving seven variables to .MAT format; the
example can be modified for any number of variables.
Once this data is saved from LabVIEW, it can be read into the MATLAB environment, using the following command:
    >>LOAD filename
    The Who
command can then be used to display all the seven variable names, and
you can display the content of them by entering the variable names at
    the command prompt as usual.

  • HT202796 I can not copy, modify, any file from my Mac to external hard disk,  of the seagate brand (fast HDD Portable Drive)  I don´t know  if I need some software to copy and  modify files in my hard disk external ? Could you help me please?

    Hello I have a iMac with 3.4 GHZ intel core I7, memory 16 GB 1333 MHZ DDR3, and OS X 10.9.4 Software.
I have problems when I try to copy or modify any file from my MAC to MY PORTABLE DRIVE/DISQUE (external hard disk).
my external hard disk have the next features:
    brand: Seagate
    4TB
I do not know if I need some software such as: paragon or I need to configure my MAC,
    Please help me..
    Thanks a lot

Click on it, choose Get Info from the File menu, and check the format.
If it's formatted as NTFS, reformat it as MS-DOS, exFAT, or Mac OS Extended (Journaled) as desired, or install software such as Paragon NTFS on the computer.
If it's formatted as FAT32 or exFAT, use the Disk Utility's Repair Disk command on it; this may also happen for a flash drive which is about to fail.
If it's formatted as Mac OS Extended, click Authenticate and provide your administrator password, or change the permissions on that specific folder in its Get Info window.
