Modify Search Screens in SRM 7.0

We recently upgraded from SRM 4.0 to SRM 7.0.  We use the classic scenario.
In the previous version, users were able to search for previous carts by using vendor or catalog number in their search criteria.  This is not an option in SRM 7 for the general user and they are not very happy.  Search by vendor is available for the admins in the Shopping Cart Monitor transaction.
We need to be able to add more fields on the Order Status, Advanced Search, and/or Old Shopping Carts and Templates so that users can search for carts more efficiently.
One concern I do have is the vendor catalog number.  For non-catalog orders, we added a Z field in SRM 4.0 for users to enter a vendor catalog number.  In SRM 7, that field was no longer necessary since the standard functionality brought in that field for us (not only for catalog orders but non-catalog as well).  If users were to do a search now, I wonder if it would look for those carts created in SRM 4 or if there is someway we can tell the system to look in the standard field as well as the Z field.
Any help as to how to add additional search fields to the POWL/Advanced Search would be greatly appreciated.
Monique

  • How to change the default operators in sap web ui Search screen?

    How to change the default operators in sap web ui Search screen?
    For eg. Using advance search option , I have some fields with default operators like equals, contains,is between, is less than and is greater than. I don't need all these operators for this field.
    I need only "equals" operator. How do i remove the rest of the operators?

    There is a view cluster crmvc_dq where all the standard setting is present related to you r issue. Please try if you can modify that, that way you will avoid the code.
    Incase you are not able to make any changes there then in that case you have to redefine the method GET_DQUERY_DEFINITION () of the IMPL class to delete the operators for a particular serach field.

  • Can any one help in, I need to modify a Screen '0100'

    hi,
    i need to modify a screen,as in, presently it accepts Single Value of 'Marketing Attribute' related to Campaign data and stores them in a z custom table. I mean the data gets stored in the z table and the same retrieved as i open the same Campaign again.
    My query here is that, i want to modify the same screen, so that i would be able to accept 'Multiple Values for the same Marketing Attribute'.
    You need to help may be in introducing ALV grid in the same screen or Table Controls in the same screen. and how the same Z table may be modified to stored multiple values of marketing element. The Raw GUID of campaign is already stored in z table.

    Make sure you have IBM's Java 1.1.8 JRE/JDK installed on your server and $JAVA_HOME set. Check the Oracle installation instructions. One other problem with Red Hat 7.0. is that
    there is a libc library incompatibility problem with Red Hat linux 7.0 and Oracle 8i. The database will not start after you install it. Go to MetaLink (if you have support) and search for document # 121176.1. Basically, you have to download an older version of glibc, modify your Oracle link environment files, re-link the database executables and all will work normally. I did it on my Red Hat Linux 7.0 server two weeks ago and everything is working fine. Only other alternative is downgrade to Red Hat 6.2.

  • Not able to display and search on CLOB attribute in default search screen

    Hi,
    My requirement:
    I have three VARCHAR attributes and 1 CLOB attribute. i need to search the values on these 4 attributes.
    Created View crieteria on these 4 attributes and created default ADF search screen. but not able to add the CLOB attribute as search attribute.
    is there any solution for this or we can't search on CLOB attribute.
    FYI: i have created Converter using ClobDomain and and using this converted for editing the CLOB data.
    If i try adding the CLOB attribute in view criteria with ClobDomain and not able to see that attribute on search panel.
    Please help on this.
    Thanks in advance!!
    Thanks & Reagrds,
    Madhu

    Madhu, please tell us your jdev version!
    The search is done on the DB (query) so the converter is not used. To search clob columns you can use special SQL statements called contains or catsearch. These are using special index to find the data in blob or clob columns.
    Check my blog on how to integrate this into VC: http://tompeez.wordpress.com/2011/08/21/extending-viewcriteria-to-use-sql-contains-4/

  • Required values should be displayed in forst search screen for Variable

    HI Gurus
    I have a Variable CUSTOMER which has 20000 values. In the first search screen we are getting 1 to 1000 values by default ( I have selected 1000 in properties). But I want the Values between 6000 to 7000. Is it possible?
    Thanks in advance.
    Best Regards
    Raj

    Hi
    I want to give single value in between 6000 to 7000. The single values which appear in first search should not be 1 to 1000. It must be 6000 to 7000
    Thanks

  • Why is it that when I go to the search screen to find a particular message in a conversation it comes up with the message but when I click on it it takes me to the conversation where the most recent message was sent and not the message I wanted

    Why is it that when I go to the search screen and type in a particular message I want to view, my iPhone finds it but when I click on it it only takes me to the conversation at the most recently thing texted and not the particular message I clicked on?

    Never occurred to me you can search messages that way, thanks.
    Another way to do it is to scroll from the most recent message to the top of the screen and tap load more messages, repeatedly till you reach the one you want.
      I like your method better, but with both methods it refreshes to the most recent message.

  • How to modify search query based on new FE

    Hi,
    As per a requirement, in All Accounts search (advanced search section), I had to replace 5 checkboxes (e.g. Role1, Role2, Role3, Role4, Role5) by a single dropdown (codelist) name= "Account_Roles" containing same values (Role1, Role2, Role3, Role4, Role5). I created Customer's XBO and declared field of the codelist type, name= "Account_Roles". So, the XBO now has below 6 fields :
    Role1, Role2, Role3, Role4, Role5 (type = Indicator)
    Account_Roles                            (type = codelist)
    Existing search on All Accounts worked on the 5 checboxes and fetched those accounts for which the values matched.
    E.g.
    If in search parameters, I check Role1 & Role2, and for Account1, these values are stored as "true", then Account1 will be shown in the result list.
    Now the search UI doesn't have the checkboxes, but codelist ('Account_Roles') which can have value 'Role1'/'Role2'/'Role3'/'Role4'/'Role5' or combinations are also possible like 'Role1' OR 'Role2', etc..
    My question here is -
    Will the old search query that worked on indicator fields earlier, handle the new FE "Account_Roles" automatically ?
    If not, then will modification be required to existing search query ?
    If modification is required, what steps I need to follow to handle this new field instead of checkboxes.
    I need exact steps to modify a search query, as I tried several things in the PDI but was not able to confirm if this requirement can be implemented by modifying search query or it is not feasible from PDI perspective.
    Appreciate all your inputs.
    Thanks,
    Sachin.

    Hi,
    you can create a link between the vendor objects itself, means link 0vendor with 0ven_compc and 0ven_purorg. This should give you a list of all vendors multiplied with the comp codes multiplied with the purch. org. May be here it is possible to create another link between a attribute (eg. comp_code of 0ven_purorg with comp_code of 0ven_compc). In case it is not possible you need to add this link information somehow. Another option might be to create 2 queries. One on a infoset of 0vendor and 0ven_purorg and another one on 0vendor and 0ven_compc.
    regards

  • Problem while modifying searches in Imaging 11.1.1.5

    Hi
    I am facing serious issues while modifying searches in IPM.
    Initially while creating applications, and uploading data in those applications, the fields were not added in sequence.
    So we re-ordered the sequence from database and it worked fine.
    But now because of re-ordering the search results column have also been reordered(Result Formatting) in Search Creation.
    While modifying i am facing following error:

    Hi Abhinav,
    Have you applied any patches for your PS4 instance as yet ?....Also do check the AXF logs and this might give a clue on command that is being executed.
    You could paste the mapped AXF log as well

  • Issue with programmatically created LOV on Advanced Search Screen in OCO.

    Hi All,
    I am trying to create a LOV programmatically on Advanced search screen of Oracle Customer's Online module for the country field present there, i have extended a controller and
    in it i am carrying out the creation for this.
    i am using the below code to do this.
    i am able to access the particular rowlayout bean and code below is starting after that.
    OARowLayoutBean CountryRowLayoutBean =
                            (OARowLayoutBean)RgtColTableLayoutBean.getIndexedChild(8);
                        if (pageContext.isLoggingEnabled(PROCEDURE))
                            pageContext.writeDiagnostics(this,
                                                         "CountryRowLayoutBean: " +
                                                         CountryRowLayoutBean,
                                                         PROCEDURE);
                        int CountryRowLytChldCount =
                            CountryRowLayoutBean.getIndexedChildCount();
                        if (pageContext.isLoggingEnabled(PROCEDURE))

                                                      LOV_CRITERIA,
                                                      LOV_REQUIRED_NO);
    I am facing the issue that the torch icon is visble on the screen but when i click on it, it does not display the LOV region and a blank page saying website declined to show the page is displayed.
    Please suggest what needs to be added that i am missing right now.
    Thanks,
    Mayank

    on the first option I mean you can add new region  programaticaly like this on Processrequest
                OAStackLayoutBean newLocationLovs=
                    (OAStackLayoutBean)createWebBean(pageContext
                                                        ,"/yandex/oracle/apps/csi/instance/location/webui/YaLocationLovsRN"
                                                        , "xxnewLocationLovs"
                                                        ,true);
                  webBean.addIndexedChild(newLocationLovs);

  • Custom fields on Purchase order screen in SRM are missing.

    Hi ALL,
    SRM 5.0 R/3 4.6c
    We have custom fields which appear on the create PO in SRM, the criteria for these fields to appear is if the item is of service type.So if its service item there will be additional/ custom fields for input purchase order screen in SRM,
    But at this these fields dont show up for service item PO's . this is happening in Q and P environments while it is working fine in D and S. No changes were made to the system.
    Also if I look in to bbp_pd info for the previous service PO, the data shows up in bbp_pd but the data or the custom fields are missing on the web.
    We tried deactivating/activating the custom class in Q , but that did not help us!
    Consider this as urgernt!
    Can anyone please throw some light on this!
    Thanks
    Krishna

    Have you implementated the BADI: BBP_CUF_BADI_2
    if yes, then keep a break point there and see if you are missing any thing there...

  • Custom Search Screen Question

    I have a search screen where the user can enter multiple search criteria fields and click 'FIND' button.
    Below is the code behind the find button. As you can see if the use doesn't enter any of the search criteria
    then it is supposed to get all the records in the block BLI_DATA (this is a db block built on a view of a table).
    At the bottom of the BLI_DATA screen, there are two buttons 'OPEN' and 'CANCEL' (these belong to a diff. block called
    BLI_DATA_ACTION). Open opens up the record selected in BLI_DATA. Cancel cancels out of this and takes back
    to the search screen. That scenario works ok. Else if the user enters any of the criteria, then the dynamic where
    gets the required records. That works too.
    What is not working is, if I enter say state = 'LA' in the first pass and click find, it gets
    me the records for LA. Then if I click'CANCEL'and come back to the search screen, remove all the search criteria
    and now click 'FIND' in the 2nd pass, it still gets me the LA information.
    Code behind the FIND button

    I had a similar requirement and I put it in a procedure like this.
    PROCEDURE BUILD_WHERE_CLAUSE IS
      hold_clause varchar2(2000);
    BEGIN
          -- check location code and add condition if it is not null
       IF :key_block.locn_code IS NOT NULL THEN
          hold_clause := hold_clause ||
          ' and (cwvcatr_locn_code = :key_block.locn_code)';
       END IF;
          -- check case type and add condition if it is not null
       IF :key_block.case_type IS NOT NULL THEN
          hold_clause := hold_clause ||
          ' and (cwvcatr_ctyp_code = :key_block.case_type)';
       END IF;
          -- check action code and add condition if it is not null
       IF :key_block.cwvatyp_code IS NOT NULL THEN
          hold_clause := hold_clause ||
          ' and (cwvcatr_cwvatyp_code = :key_block.cwvatyp_code)';
       END IF;
          -- check case assign day and add condition if it is not null
       IF :key_block.case_assn_day IS NOT NULL THEN
          hold_clause := hold_clause ||
          ' and (upper(cwvcatr_case_assn_day) = upper(:key_block.case_assn_day))';
       END IF;
          -- strip off initial 5 characters ' and '
       IF hold_clause IS NOT NULL THEN
          hold_clause := SUBSTR(hold_clause,6);
       END IF;
       -- Set the DEFAULT_WHERE to newly built WHERE clause
       SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('CWVCATR_1_BLOCK',DEFAULT_WHERE,hold_clause);
          -- Set the ORDER_BY clause
          IF :key_block.sort_by = 'C' THEN
                 SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('CWVCATR_1_BLOCK',ORDER_BY,'cwvcatr_case_id');
          ELSE
                 SET_BLOCK_PROPERTY('CWVCATR_1_BLOCK',ORDER_BY,'cwvcatr_assn_date');
          END IF;
    END;So regardless of what user puts in parameters, the default where is set accordingly. If there is no parameter entered, it does not set anything. And if only one parameter is entered, only one condition is set and so on. This might be helpful in your case too.

  • Performance Issue with Search screen

    I am not sure to post on JSF or Hibernate forums. This one is for Performance Gurus
    I have a "Advance Search" screen built with JSF/Facelets/Ajax4JSF
    When i click on the link Advance Search it will take more than a minute to load the form.
    The screen has 21 form fields out of which 8 are dropdowns out of which 6 are populated while loading the form. They are like LookUp tables. The other two form fields dropdowns launch popups
    Now when i hit Search button it will go on for more than minute and most of the times it results in
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
    I am using Myeclipse and Tomcat.
    Here is the memory parameters from right clik eclipse properties
    "C:\Program Files\MyEclipse 6.0\eclipse\eclipse.exe" -vm "C:\Program Files\MyEclipse 6.0\jre\bin\javaw.exe" -vmargs -Xms128m -Xmx1024m -XX:PermSize=128m -XX:MaxPermSize=164m
    In addition i have also set Tomcat properties in Myeclipse under "Optional JVM Arguments" as
    -Xmx1024m
    I am thinking of doing Hibernate Query Caching for populating dropdowns while loading the form
    Any other pointers/suggestions will be greatly appreciated

  • Crawled the UCM through SES but unable to search on Search screen. I have to use OID as identity management. How to configure SES for this??

    I have crawled the UCM through SES, but when I try to search on the Search screen nothing is searched.
    followed the following document - http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/search/oses/stellent-white-paper-178229.pdf
    But at the end I need to configure the identity management for OID not for Content Server. I have activated the OID plug-in in SES, but nothing is searched in both the foloowing cases:
    1) When I login with a OID user
    2) When i do not login, even the public data is not displayed.
    What could be the problem??

    Thanks for the reply. Authorization was use source ACL, and I tried logging in as every user that had access to the content and could not bring up anything.
    However, this is no longer an issue as we are not going to be using this content database. We are going to be using the new Beehive collaboration instead. I don't know if there will be a different plugin for SES or what, but it should be interesting.

    Try This,
    TABLES:
    vbak.
    SELECT-OPTIONS:
    so_vbeln FOR vbak-vbeln  MODIF ID a.
    PARAMETERS: p_acta TYPE checkbox USER-COMMAND act DEFAULT 'X'.
    AT SELECTION-SCREEN OUTPUT.
      LOOP AT SCREEN.
        IF p_acta = ' '.
          IF screen-group1 = 'A'.
            screen-active = 0.
          ENDIF.
        ENDIF.
        MODIFY SCREEN.
      ENDLOOP.
