Can I change the background music of a theme? Also, can I change the title that shows on the menu page?

The location of your images directory depends on how you setup your APEX instance. Do you know which database version you're using? And whether you've configured your APEX instance to use the embedded gateway, which would be the default configuration on Oracle XE and 11g. Or did you setup APEX with mod_plsq or the APEX listener? Assuming you've installed XE, and you're using the embedded gateway, then your images are actually stored in the database (XML DB), and you would need to access your images folder via FTP or WebDAV. There are several blog posts out there that talk about how to connect to the images folder via FTP, here's one: http://www.apex-blog.com/oracle-apex/accessing-i-using-ftp-170.html If you're using any of the other configurations, your images directory would simply be a local folder on the machine running your web server.
As for creating a theme, there isn't really a "guide" out there that documents how to build a new theme. But the theme structure, templates, etc are documented in the APEX user guide. To start building a new theme, I would recommend starting out with an existing one that you like, ideally one that was recently modernized by us. I would recommend themes 21-23 as starting points. And then I would create a CSS file to overwrite some of the classes in the theme CSS file, rather than directly modifying the CSS file that ships with APEX. You should also use tools like Firebug, or the built-in developer functions in Chrome/Safari to try out different CSS settings. With our modernized themes you should be able to get most customizations done through CSS. So I would suggest staying away from actually altering the templates as much as possible, at least in the beginning.

I have one requirement of Creating Role with RRMX Tcode, to Ability to use Global queries, and modify/save them Locally for their own use. Ability to Create & Modify Local queries for their own use.
I have tried with all combination but still not able
to save any query(global or local) as local queries by using the option "change query(Local view)",Where as if we do changes in the global queries default its getting saved under global only.
We are unable to restrict only for Local changes.
Let me know in the object name and what value need to add there.

IDVD '08 - Modifying Revolution Theme Chapters Background

Hello everyone!
I am authoring a DVD using iDVD '08 (7.1.2) and I've decided to use the Revolution theme.
I modified the menu and fonts for both the Main and Chapter screens. However in Chapters screens, the "scrolling text" that is running in the background says "REVOLUTION CHAPTERS" and I can't find a place to edit this text, as I could do on the main screen.
Does anyone know if and how this can this text can be changed? If so, please let me know how. I'd be so grateful.

In the Chapter menu the title usually is Chapters 1-6 (if you have 6 or more chapters)
Click on the title and change to whatever you want to rolling text to be. You may have to click on the rolling text to get it to change right away.

Trouble with Appplication after modifying WebDynpro Theme

Hi all,
since I modified a WebDynpro theme the behaviour of several UI Elements changed dramatically.
The dropdown listbox is unclickable.
The little calendar pop up of an input field being bound to the type date doesn't appear anymore.
Basically every interactive Element refuses to be interactive
I'm using a Viewset with T-Layout. The left column only contains links to views being displayed in the right column of the viewset.
This afternoon even the links do not work anymore.
I'm developing on SP12, Themeeditor and themes are as well based on SP12.
Can anybody support me?

It looks like that the generation of the individual folders within the main folder(containing all the elements required for the theme)is missing or not generated properly. When you develop a theme, make sure its compatible ("with all browsers")and have the 'generate all'.
Since you said, that you are using sp12 for development and are using the sp12 theme editor, it should work properly.
Yes, we had issues with regard to combo control and date element with our previous SPs.
I did a cross check on my side, where I had sp12 for development and used sp11 theme editor and looks good.
Hence do re-generate your folders and try it out.

Can I modify a theme?

I have a theme I like, but the window title is very hard to read against the background.
Is there a way I can modify it?

Doing a little research and experimentation and have defined an Aperture preset called "iPod Photo" with the following settings:
Image Format - JPEG
Include Metadata - (unchecked)
Image Quality - (Dragged to the maximum of 12)
Size To - Fit Within Size
Width - 220
Height - 176
Gamma Adjust - (Dragged to the minimum)
ColorSync Profile - sRGB Profile
Black Point Compensation - (unchecked)
Show Watermark - (unchecked)
So far as I've been able to determine the iPod Photo (will assume it's the same or less for the Nano) has a screen resolution of 220 x 76 and 64K colors. I don't see a way in Aperture to set the number of colors.
Open issues:
1. What format does the iPod actually store images in? Might eliminate an iTunes conversion step to export in this format.
2. Is a different Gamma Adjust setting desirable?
3. Is a different ColorSync Profile setting desirable?
4. Is Black Point Compensation desirable?

I like it a lot and would like to use it, but I need to make some modifications. But being a totally newbie, I don't understand something. Most of the CSS selectors reference an embedded asset:

Inside the "source" zip for the theme there is this file "flekristal_skin.swf". But I cannot find either the original artwork, nor the actionscript or MXML skin source code. In other words, is the original content missing? How would one then make changes....or is the idea that you get the compiled skin and you can't make changes...??? HELP!

The swf file seems to be an asset file generated from flash, so unless you have the source file flekristal_skin.fla, which would open in adobe Flash, you won't be able to edit the asset file. You may try to ask the theme developer for the .fla file if you really want to edit the assets.

Error installing/previewing 7.0 theme on 9370 with modified theme builder 6.0

I've upgraded a 9330 running 6.0 using a 5.0 theme (custom layout) successfully, but need to get the same theme to export for use on the 9370 running 7.0. Verizon is the carrier... Since the phones share the same resolution the theme should work on the newer device.
Theme builder has been modified according to the unofficial guide. I see the new device and OS versions in the dropdown and modified the theme properties of the custom.properties in /Blackberry6_320x240/.
I can export the 7.0 type ok but not see theme in display options - it shows up in applications. When attempting to directly install from theme builder on the device I get a generic message saying the phone connected does not match the version of the theme.
Is there something I missed in configuration of theme builder? What can I do to get this custom6 theme to work in 7.0? Could it be a Verizon security lock on 3rd party applications? I saw there were *no options* listed and figured security might block it, but I am new to blackberry dev and forgive my ignorance.

Modify default gray theme

I use gray theme in my webapp, but I want to override (maybe with css) it.
What I'm looking for is a way to set the ALERT component to use text colors and images from Classic Theme ( in particular classic theme changes labels font from black to red if the related required text field is empty, and shows colourfull icons, instead of gray font and gray icons)

Pricing, Modifiers in Sales Order Form

Hi Gurus,
Please help me to resolve the issue with Pricing, Modifier to Sales Order:
I have created Master price List for Item A - $40
Modifer 1 - Dealer Discount Price is 20% (Created Modifier as Dealer Discount - 20%)
Modifer 2 - Order Header discount is 10% on total Order Value (Created Modifer with Discount : Level - Order; Modifer Type - Discount; Pricing Phase - Header Level Adjustments, Application Method - Percentage; Value - 10%
Assgined to respective Qualifers (Customers), set as Automatic
Ran Build Attribute mapping values concurrent program in Pricing Module. Status : sucess
After doing All above steps created Sales order for respective Customer, system is applying Modifer 1 Automatically but MODIFIER 2 not able to apply at order header leverl, Not able to see this Modifier list under SO form
Action->View Adjustment.
Can you please check and let me know the problem to achieve this issue.

Check below options in sequence
1) Is your order qualifies for both the modifiers ?
2) If you need to apply both modifiers put them in different incompatibility level.

Why doesn't Lightroom organise videos/photos lacking "date taken" by "date modified" instead of "date created"?

This still seems to be a problem with Lightroom 5. This post is one of the top results after trying to Google this problem, and it's for LR3. I can't understand why something so fundamental to video (and some photo) organisation has been overlooked for so long.
I've been trying to import and organise all my old photos and videos by date with LR5. They've been backed up and copied many times over the years, most recently to an external drive last week. So every file has a "date created" of last week. But "date modified" remains the original recorded date.
This doesn't matter for photos with a proper EXIF "date taken" - but LR5 looks at the "date created" for videos, making it completely useless for organising them into date-based folders. It puts videos I recorded in 2010 (as per "date modified") into a 2014-12 folder. Why.
It's not just a video problem - some photos I took with devices that didn't record EXIF "date taken" are also filed into folders from this month, even though the "date modified" on them is correct as being from 5 years ago.
How can I rely on LR5 for importing and date-based organisation when it relies on files (lacking "date taken") having never been copied or backed up?

I use exiftool to modify the Creation and Modification time of the files. After that I use LR "Ajust time" feature to set the time of the movies in LR to the file creation time (last point). This works fine for me.
For MOV (Quicktime):
exiftool "-FileModifyDate<TrackCreateDate" "-FileCreateDate<TrackCreateDate"
For AVI:
exiftool "-FileModifyDate<DateTimeOriginal" "-FileCreateDate<DateTimeOriginal" *.avi
Depnding on your camera (and container format mov, avi) you may also ajust the time zone, e.g.
exiftool -FileModifyDate+=1 -FileCreateDate+=1 -if "$CameraModelName =~ /EOS 600D/i" *.mov
Which time in the container (MOV, AVI) you use as source, depends on your workflow. I edit my mov files before import. Therfore "CreateDate" is the time when I edited the file. Quicktime and (some) avi file contain a time when the containing stream was created. I use this vaule as source.
exiftool <filename> gives you detailed information about all available times.

Theme editor and especific wd theme problems

Hi, my problem is this.
Hi have one WD application that has have a different theme from the EP.
I downloaded the SP13 Theme editor and then uploaded the new theme to the server wd theme folder.
Using the sap-cssurl parameter when calling the wd applicaction to apply the theme its working with the standars themes (sap_chrome, sap_tradeshow, etc) but when I try to use my custom theme the dropdowncomboboxs are not opening and their values apear separately as a list. Also table footer is displaying without an style at all.
I read the note 779659 and I already tryed to change the default theme property using my custom theme but result is the same.
Can anyone give me some help?

and then in the properties you have provide the Custom theme name you have created .

Theme with 50 images

hi i need to do a montage for wedding so i would need to have more than 50 images in it. In order to have a nicer backdrop using the themes in imovie...i have tried playing with the settings...however the theme seem like only last a few short secs..and the max images that i can put in it is around 7-8. Can i put in more than that? Is there a way for me to control the animation at a slower speed? The animation seem interesting..but it only last a while..is it possible to carry on the theme..all the way..4mins..without letting the audienece actually see that it is looping or repeating?

the Themes are not meant as 'backgrounds' or 'borders' but as a short preview of what to come, an interlude, a segmentation in a movie ...
so, afaik, I don't see any option to modify the Theme for your needs..
... for sure, you could make a 'screenshot' of a Theme (Apple-Shift-4) and use that screenshot as 'template' in any pic processor (Photoshop/Elements) to add your pictures ... but, that is a still, no motion ...

How to add new class in modified template...

Finally I have encourage myself to scratch to (for me deepest darkwood) templates...
I have modified original Theme 2 to My theme 2 and added in some tempaltes region my parts-looks promising.
Now I want to create sidebar region that is 450 px wide.
It should be the same sidebar region but with different width!
I saw on file system that there is .css so I add this class in it....(as aspected) it is not shown in template class list...
I am able to apply that new class to template, but I cannot see that class in "Template Class" LOV (in Edit Region Template form).
Is that important and could this bee seen in that list?

Upgraded from 4.1 -> 4.2.
Change theme from slightly modified Green theme (in mine case 101 is number and original was 11, One level Tabs) to Theme 25 Blue Responsive.
Login page for instance doesn have "Login Region" for instance (not in LOV). And all pages are softly said strange.
