Muse works on the ".muse" file. Even If you download an Adobe Business Catalyst template you will not get the MUSE file for it and MUSE will not be able to open it.

You can use the Dreamweaver FTP (or a different FTP client) to completely copy the original website to your development computer, then, before making changes, you can copy the whole thing to a directory called something like "website original"
If you want to run both the old and new sites on the remote server, this is often possible. Add a folder/directory to the server and call it something like "new" and upload the new files there until you are ready to replace the old site
All of this you can do with FTP

We plan to install BusinessObjects Business Intelligence platform 4.1 SP2 for the first time. My question is, can we install BO 4.1 SP2 straight? Or do we need to install 4.1 first, then apply SP2?

If you get the BO 4.1 SP2 Full Build package, you can directly install it. The Full Build is not available in SAP SMP then install BO 4.1 and then upgrade to SP2 Patch.

Anyone still up? I just purchased from the itunes store for the first time, and don't know how to get them downloaded to my ipod.

As soon as you login, it will see you have pending downloads and create the downloads section on the left below Purchases under the Store section. Then it will start the music downloads there, as they will be listed one below the other.

You can just click on that and say that now iTunes keeps asking for the password and ask him to help you with that. Trick would be to interrupt him so that he carries on with another task after, so he doesn't notice the download. Or you carry on with email or browsing which you were "busy" with when iTunes interrupted you for the password (stupid iTunes)

It can't find an Endeca specific class when running via the clover command line utility. Thus, the classpath being set in that shell script is not incorporating the .jar files where the endeca-specific classes are packaged. I would start by adding an line to see what your classpath is set to. There are actually already some lines of shell script in clover that you can uncomment to see what .jars are getting loaded:

Commandlink in paneltab fail's to navigate for the first time

Problem Description:
We have a panelTab which will be rendered based on the parameter passed from the called page. The corresponding showdetailitem will be disclosed based on the parameter value. We have a commandlink that is added to the showdetailitem which is not navigating to the corresponding page for the first time. When we click any other tab and comes back to the current showdetailitem then the commandlink works well

Briefing:
when the page loads, the parameter that is passed to the tab is set to true so that the 3rd tab is disclosed. This is working as expected.
But when we click the commandlink the navigation is not happening..
If user clicks on any other tab and goes back to 3rd tab, it displays page2. and from now onwards it works fine.
Any solution/workaround for this..

Solution:
setting the param value to the pageflowScope and using it resolved the isssue.
The reason is, the parameter that you are trying to pass in the URL exists only when you click the "goLink1" link (present in the template)..Once the page shows up, the parmeter will not be there and so when you click the link in the third tab, the framework will try to re-evaluate the tabs disclosure property and will find that the condition is not true and so will not do anything inside the tab...Got the above info from one friend..

When creating a custom default user profile for an image, I get the error "A keychain cannot be found to store "safari" when a new user logs in for the first time.

My "profile" account works flawlessly with the exception of safari. I had copied the entire user template folder to the default location in OS X 10.10 and removed the entire keychain folder. However, whenever someone logs into the computer for the first time and opens Safari, they are greeted with the error message "A keychain cannot be found to store safari".

If you've just changed your login password in Recovery mode, follow these instructions. Otherwise, see below.
At some point, you may have reset your keychain to default in Keychain Access. That action would have caused your login keychain to be renamed.
Back up all data before proceeding.
In Keychain Access, delete the login keychain from the keychain list. Choose Delete References when prompted, not Delete References & Files.
Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it, then copy the text to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C:

In the Finder, select

Not sure why you wanted to implement beforePhase listener, but did you try commenting out your custom code and check? All the refreshTabContent does is to refresh the components that comes along with the template. It works fine for me. So, as Timo said, check your custom code or try commenting the code and narrow down the issue.

Select statement is taking lot of time for the first time Execution.?

I am facing the following issue. I am using one select statement to retrieve all the contracts from the table CACS_CTRTBU according to FOR ALL ENTRIES restriction.

The WHERE condition is in order with the available Index. The index has APPL,CTRTBU_ID,FLG_CANCEL_VERS and FLG_CANCEL_OBJ.
The technical settings of table CACS_CTRTBU says that the "Buffering is not allowed"
Now the problem is , for the first time execution of this select statement, with 1.5 lakh entries in P_LT_ZCACS table, the select statement takes 3 minutes.
If I execute this select statement again, in another run with Exactly the same parameter values and number of entries in P_LT_ZCACS ( i.e 1.5 lakh entries), it gets executed in 3-4 seconds.
What can be the issue in this case? Why first execution takes longer time?.. Or is there any way to modify the Select statemnt to get better performance.

Sounds like caching or buffering in some layer down the i/o stack. Your first execution
seems to do the "physical I/O" where your following executions can use the caches / buffers
that are filled by your first exectution.

If modifying your SELECTS statement or your indexes could help depends on your access details:
does your internal table P_LT_ZCACS contain duplicates?
how do your indexes look like?
how does your execution plan look like?
what are your execution figures in ST05 - Statement Summary?
(nr. of executions, records in total, total time, time per execuiton, records per execution, time per record,...)

Installing UPK 11.0 for the first Time

What ports need to be opened when you install UPK 11.0 for the first time on Windows?

Here are some default ports for you just for reference. The install docs give you no port information whatsoever. :o)
Default Ports:
Oracle: 1521
Microsoft SQL: 1433
Web Server: 80 (recommended 443)
If you are going to connect through 443, port 80 is not needed
Remember as a heads up, if you plan to publish a friendly DNS name and use windows authentication, read this KB article, a reg edit will be required for this to work.

In Registry Editor, locate and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa\MSV1_0
Right-click MSV1_0, point to New, and then click Multi-String Value.
Type BackConnectionHostNames, and then press ENTER.
Right-click BackConnectionHostNames, and then click Modify.
In the Value data box, type the host name or the host names for the sites that are on the local computer, and then click OK.

Very disappointed by apple for the first time...

For the first time I feel realy realy dissapointed by Apple...
My MacBook Pro has 1 year and 1 month, so the warranty is over, suprisely som days ago start to fail the ethernet conection, I took it to authorized repair center and the result was, motherboard fail but because is out of warranty, have to pay $1,000 dlls plus manwork!!!!!!!!!!!!
How is possible that for 1 month after warranty and in on a very expensive Laptop have to pay again more tha $1,000 dlls, today the value of the equipment isnt more than $1200-1400 dlls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I called customer support and the just tell me that I have to pay that or leave without ethernet the 1 year use MacBook pro!!!!!! I didnt receive even a discount!!!!!!!!!!!!
Isnt fair on a excellent company that always take a lot of care of his users!!!!!!!! I will think twice befero buy another mac equipment because is very sensitive and expensive.........

AppleCare can be added within 1 year of purchase. I did, and at 18 months my HD needs replaced. The biggest problem for me was that the store was very busy and needed 2 days to work through the backlog of existing repairs.

Installed Firefox 3.6.8 for the first time and it keeps crashing

I just installed Firefox for the first time and when it is finished installing I tell it to start. It tries and as soon as it does I get a crash report. Every time I click Restrt Firefox it comes up with the same crash error, which is the following:

I am running this on a Duo Core processor, Intel, Laptop, Windows 7 with 4-gigs of ram. I have never had a problem with other programs crashing like this before.
Any ideas? I have never used Firefox and after 20 years have decided to try something new.

You mean out of this whole community no one knows how to fix this ... I wanted to give Firefox a try, but honestly, I am starting to see why I have not switched from IE, it is stable and I get answers when I post to the Microsoft boards as well as the answer to everything I have ever had an issue with is out there ... what is worse is that I am not the only one with this problem and no one can still help because I am sure us five are not the only ones that have run into this.
