Modifying Infocube 0FIAR_C03

Hi All,
I'm trying to modify A/R Line Item Infocube 0FIAR_C03 in BW 3.5 to add some more characteristics. But every time, I go into change mode on the cube, I get the message that certain key figure infoobjects will be deleted due to NOP aggregation. This is on 0DSCT_PCT1, 0DSCT_DAYS1, 0DSCT_PCT2, 0DSCT_DAYS2, 0NETTERMS.
The message text: "In the case of aggregation NOP, and so on, there are older versions of key figures that can no longer be activated with this aggregation."
Has anyone run across this issue before?

Thanks Luis for the response. Note 782032 refers to implementing BW3.50 Patch 10 or SAPKW35010 but I don't believe it's available yet. What did you do?

Delta Initialization for infocube 0FIAR_C03

Hi Frends
We r uploading data to infocube 0FIAR_o03 with infosource 0fi_ar_4.and subcequently to infocube 0fiar_c03. first time we r loading data with delta initialization then delta uploading.one typical problem we r facing here that.yesterday we have changed 3 records in our quality clint and delta loaded for same.the no of records transferd yesterday was zero.we have also checked same in transaction rsa7 there was no record with our data sorce.again today we have checked with transaction rsa7. the no of records was zero. but when we have loaded with delta update mode.there are 3 records in delta extraction(yesterday change records)
pl let me know some hints on this

Tukuna,
On which filed you have created Delta.
1. If delta field is Date (Record Create Date or change date), then use Upper Limit of 1 day.
This will load Delta in BW as of yesterday. Leave Lower limit blank.
2. If delta field is Time Stamp, then use Upper Limit of equal to 1800 Seconds (30 minutes).
This will load Delta in BW as of 30 minutes old. Leave Lower limit blank.
3. If delta field is a Numeric Pointer i.e. generated record # like in GLPCA table, then use Lower Limit. Use count 10-100. Leave upper limit blank. If value 10 is used then last 10 records will be loaded again.

Load data to a modified InfoCube and ODS used in Production

Hi,
I have added few fields (InfoObjects) to the cube(s) and DSOs in BI 7.0. These Cubes and DSOs are BW 3.5 Objects and are in-use in Production.
My question: After I transport this new/enhanced InfoCube and DSO from Dev/Qua to Production, how to retrieve the old data from original Cube/DSO and populate data to new fields at DSO and Cube level.
Please advise.

As ur enhanced the IC & ODS which r 3.x objects, i guess u havn't used the remodeling tool. Then u have to follow the old procedure to enhancing the cube.
Create a copy cube , Delete the contents of existing cube, enhance it & load the data to existing cube back from copy cube.
Same thing u have to follow in ur case also.

Hi Prasad,
You have the following ways to find out the reason:-
1. Check your selection criteria in FBL3N, if you are selecting open items as on 15.08.2009, then they will still show open items..
2. Check in table BSIS and BSAS and check where the documents are appearing.If they are cleared, they all should be appearing in BSAS.
This is standard SAP and most probably it has got to do with dates...

we use the business content infocube 0fiar_c03.
Im considering transfering the fi document number from 0fiar_o03.
does anyone see any reason why this should not be done ?

Don't see any problem with that.
I've 0FIAR_O03 being filled by R/3 system from 0FI_AR_4 and this ODS is filling the InfoCube YFIAR_C03 (including the doc number and everything else, only created by and created on is not in the cube).

Exception CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE while loading cube 0FIAR_C03 from DSO 0FIAR_O03

Dear All,
In our production system, we have transported our first infocube and dataflow 0FIAR_C03. (3.x dataflow)
First the DSO 0FIAR_O03 was loaded and the data was activated.
Then when we try to load the data ,from the DSO to the infocube 0FIAR_C03,
when we go to RSMO to check the process load, it is showing yellow colour for a very long time, and finally failing with the error -
"Short dump in the Warehouse
Diagnosis
The data update was not finished. A short dump has probably been logged in BI. This provides information about the error.
System Response
"Caller 70" is missing. "
But in RSMO. immediately after we start the load, when we check in the Details TAB, we see that , for the datapackage in the Update TAB, it is showing    "Processing end : Missing messages "
Also at this time itself it is throwing a dump in ST22, CX_RSR_X_MESSAGE -

Hi Vuineeth,
The characteristic 0REQUEST is used in DataStore objects and characteristic 0REQUID is used in InfoCubes. Both characteristics must share the same master data ID (SID) number range. If this is not the case the following problems may occur:
transfer the InfoObject 0REQUEST from the content again:
Transaction RSOR -> BI Content -> Object Types -> under InfoObjects select 0REQUEST and transfer it to the right (note the following settings: "Only Necessary Objects"; collection mode: "Collect Automatically").

Create an infocube from an existing infocube

Dear friends,
I have to add two additional fields(characters) to an existing Infocube and also i have to develop a query on the modified infocube.I came to know that first i should COPY the existing infocube to a new one and then i should continue the procedure like transformations ,uploading data etc.
Could any one give me the steps for how to create a new infocube from an existing infocube?

Ho Mohan,
In RSA1, goto Info provider tab in modelling.
select your info cube --> right click --> copy.
in the next screen give the new name and description for the new info cube.
or
in RSA1 --> modelling --> Info Provider --> select your info area --> right click
select create Info cube.
in the next screen --> give name and description for new info cube and in copy from field give the info cube name to which you want to create copy.
in the screen, you will get all the fields into your new info cube.
just check and activate.

Dump error while creating or double click the info package

I have actived infocube 0FIAR_C03 in BI content. Ago, The creation infopackage have been deleted in the past , today, I created a infopackage, while I update mode selected u2018initialize delta processu2019, then click save button , the system prompt u2018Deltas already loaded for request REQU_D64R47LDUSZHY9CBIB86WMLFJ init.selection; no 2. initu2019, I canoti save it for my setting. Why is this?
Then I have search cause in SDN, and I have reference OSS Note 852443 to do .
Note 852443 have mention some table: RSSELDONE、RSSDLINIT、RSSDLINITSEL、ROOSPRMSC、ROOSPRMSF.
I have to delete that request of record using se16 in these tables: RSSELDONE、RSSDLINIT、RSSDLINITSEL.
in my BI 7.0 system, ROOSPRMSC、ROOSPRMSF is no any data.
I was no found delta queue in RSA7.
Now . Dump error while creating or double click the info package, how can I change this?
Please let me know the solution.

Copy Update Rule from Business Content

Hi All,
Currently I have activated some standard BI Content E.g. InfoCube 0FIAR_C03, DSO 0FIAR_O03, InfoSource 0FI_AR_4 and all the corresponding update rules.
Now I have copied both InfoCube and DSO into another customized version E.g. ZAR_C03 and ZAR_O03. I managed to copy the same update rule from InfoSource 0FI_AR_4 to ZAR_O03 using the template but I don't have the option of copying the same update rule from ZAR_O03 to ZAR_C03 using the same update rule of 0FIAR_O03 to 0FIAR_C03.
I know I have the choice to manually re-create all the details but is there any other workaround?
Please read through carefully my question. I have seen some forum asking to load data from 0FIAR_O03 to then ZAR_O03 then so forth.
Purpose of doing the above method is because I want to remain the business content as what it is and just to copy it to Z version for customization.

Variable entry from Navigational attribute

Hi,
I would like to let the user of a web query enter a value for a navigational attribute of a characteristic in the variable screen. How do I create variables based on nav attributes?
Example:
The report shows 0MATERIAL with key figures. The user should enter a Division (Nav attr of 0MATERIAL) before entering the query.

Hi Daniel,
In the infoobject maintenance of 0MATERIAL, Make sure the attribute Division has NAV property instead of DIS in the column Navigation Type.
Then, Have you switched on the navigational attribute in Infocube.(Modify Infocube >>Nav.attributes)
After doing these two steps you should achieve what you are trying for.

Ageing Analysis - Key date

Dear Experts,
When I am Executing Ageing Analysis u2013 Customer outstanding report (On InfoCube 0FIAR_C03), If I give Key date 31.7.2009, it is showing correct result for grand total balances = Sum of the totals of balances of ( 0 days + 1-30days + 31-60 days etc).
But when I use the key date for the same query say 4.8.2009, the totals of balances & sum of the totals of balances of ( 0 days + 1-30days + 31-60 days etc) not matching.
In the report for some documents no values are coming in the ageing part, even its balances are there in the balances.
Could you please help?

Hello,
Key date is for time dependent master data values only.
Do you have any time dependent master data in the queries??
Also,it will show only those values which are valid on this date....that is the only those values of master data from the cube will be read which have validity period for this date.
So its quite possible that many master data values have there validity period ending on 31st July and therefore there are new values for them and based on that its picking up different value from the cube
so values at 4th August need not match with the key date value for 31st July.
The good Idea could be to see the values of time dependent char which you are using in the query and its values for both the key dates and then verify the difference.
This could explain why the values are not read from cube even if they are there beecause the master data values in those records does not fall in the validity date which you have given.

when i have trying to transport infocube 0fiar_c03 with infosource 0fi_ar_4 from development client.the following message has shown as error "No Transfer Rule(s) available for the transfer structure 0FI_AR_4_DB in the control table".pl let me know the possible cause of error.

it seems the transfer rules not transport.
try in dev, change transfer rules,
and from menu extras (beside go to) -> object directory entry -> transfer rules -> in next screen, check if package/development class is $TMP, click pencil icon, and choose your package/dev class, system will prompt request, create new request and transport.
if package/dev class isn't $TMP, try following,
rsa1->transport connection->left panel choose 'object type' and middle panel 'infosource' and 'select objects', and choose '0fi_ar_4' and 'transfer', then you will see 0fi_ar_4 in right panel, we will use this infosource to collect transfer rules.
you may need to specify the source system assignment in transport connection when collecting objects, click 'source system assignment' and make sure your r/3 source system is marked.
choose collection mode 'manual' and grouping 'in dataflow before', and 'execute', after objects collection finished, expand the infosource and make sure your transfer rules and datasources are there and marked. click transport (truck icon).
also make sure you maintain the source system mapping in TARGET system (QAS), rsa1->tools->source system mapping (tcode rslgmp), fill 'orgsrcsys' with r/3 dev and 'trgsrcsys' with r/3 QAS, do the same for BW Prod with r/3 qas for 'orgsrcsys' and r/3 prod for 'trgsrcsys'.

0FIGL_C10 to infoobject '0calday'

the client requires to modify infocube 0FIGL_C10 add infoobject '0calday' in it. Please tell me how to do this and with which datasource I should map it .

Select the Infocube , right click and select 'change'. You can then add 0calday in the Time Dimension.
As for mapping 0calday with a corresponding field in the data source - this requirement will be business driven. Does the business want you to store data as well as produce results from the info cube based on
- Document date
- Creation date
or any other date.
You will have to map that particular field from the DS to the 0calday info object in the cube.

BEx drilldown not happenning in Query

I have executing the query with some input parameters. After output, i want to select filter values for some specific selection. I am selecting and pushing into righthand side but problem is i m not getting desired drilldown on that / any value.

Try to modify Infoobject in that cube.
I mean:
1. RSA1 - Modify Infocube
2. Extras -> Structur-Specific Infoobject properties
Here you can chose how an infoobjetc will been showed when you create a new query.
