Sorry if this is the wrong forum for this, but I could not find a way to submit this request to Apple. It concerns iTunes running on an XBOX 360. I currently am able to connect my iPod to my 360 and play music off it while I am playing games. This works great because I can play games and music over my surround sound system at the same time. Now I love the electronica stations on iTunes radio and it would be great if I could play music from iTunes radio while I am playing games. Is there anyway to develop iTunes for the 360?

Most ISPs do not block use of port 25. What they often do is block the connection to their SMTP servers on port 25 from IP addresses outside their domain. This means you can connect on, say, Earthlink's SMTP server when you are connected to the Internet using Earthlink, but not from an Internet Cafe that is not being served by Earthlink. This is an effort to prevent spammers from using their SMTP servers.
Many ISPs also block outgoing connections on port 25 to SMTP servers outside their domain. This is to prevent spammers from inside their domain from being able to send email using other's servers.
Apple is well aware of this issue.

Hi,
Wifey is interested in getting Apple TV gen2, but only if the following App works with it.
She wants to stream video from YOUKU HD (the app name) from IPAD 2 to our bedroom TV using Apple TV.
Would somebody please test this app to see if it streams ok or not via Airplay?
It is a free app.

Is it legal, yes it is from what I know. It only has chinese content from what I have seen.
In itunes one of the screenshots has a Tom & Jerry cartoon which I suspect is copyrighted material, and it specifically says it has copyrighted material though something may have been lost in translation. (Species-specific content - is that TV for the cat/dog/hamster ;-) )
If they are offering copyrighted material streaming for free it sounds dodgy though it may not be of course.
When I mentioned polarised ratings it seems to have about 50/50 1 star vs 5 star ratings in itunes.

Overview
The BlackBerry PlayBook may come to a power state where it is unable to power on; a Yellow LED may flash in a sequence of 5 flashes, the BlackBerry PlayBook may boot up to the BlackBerry PlayBook Logo and then power off, may not power on at all.
Discharge behavior under normal use:
Under normal active use, a battery drained to 10% will cause the device to prompt the BlackBerry PlayBook user (notification and audible beep)
Without connecting a charger the device will automatically shut down at 3.53V (0%)
Pressing the power button may allow successful boot, but it will turn off again very quickly
Discharge behavior under no use:
A device left unused but in ‘Stand By’ will warn the BlackBerry PlayBook user at 10% (notification and audible beep)
The warning may not be noticed and the device will go back to ‘Stand By’
Letting the device drain in standby mode drains the battery slower, but more completely
Device will still shut off at 3.53V (0%), but it less likely to successfully boot afterwards
Discharge behavior under 3.53V (0%):
If the device is left to shutoff, the battery will continue to drain below 3.53V due to quiescent current draw from the motherboard and the battery fuel gauge
With the battery between 2.7V-3.53V, pressing the power button causes the LED to flash a pattern (1 solid red light followed by 5 yellow blinks) to indicate low battery (PlayBook Tablet OS version 1.0.5, and above)
Below 2.7V there is no activity, or LED pattern displayed
Charge Behaviour:
The provided charger should be used to charge the device. The optional 12 volt rapid charger is may reduce charging times
to approximately 3 to 4 hrs. Standard Blackberry smartphone chargers, other AC adapter USB chargers, or computer USB ports
are not recommended for the sole purpose of charging the PlayBook as with these methods it may take more that 12 hours to
charge the BlackBerry Playbook.
If the battery voltage is below 3.53V(0%) then the charging behaviour is dependent on the software version. The charging code will limit the charging current to under 400 milliamps, during which time, it may take an hour to reach 3.53 Volts. Once the battery voltage rises past 3.53 volts, then "high-rate" charging will start. If, after charging the Tablet for 4 to 6 hours still does not result in LED activity, attempt to force power on the BlackBerry Playbook by pressing and holding only the Power Button for only 20 seconds.
Prior to BlackBerry Tablet OS 1.0.5:
A BlackBerry PlayBook will never charge while powered off in BlackBerry Tablet OS versions prior to 1.0.5.
The device will show a red light when the charger is connected and then nothing more
Repeated connection of the charger can recover the device in some instances.
Once the battery voltage rises above 3.53V the system will boot and the UI will show charging
Starting in BlackBerry Tablet OS 1.0.5:
The device will show a solid red LED, followed by a solid yellow LED as the device boots into charging mode. This is followed by a yellow pulsating LED indicating charging in progress.
The time span between the red and yellow lights can be as long as 45 seconds as the device boots into charging mode.
Once the yellow LED illuminates, the device can be started, but it is advisable to let it charge for at least 3.5 hours to achieve a sufficient charge.
The device will show a solid green LED once the device is fully charged.
Starting in BlackBerry Tablet OS 2.0.1:
Once the yellow LED begins pulsating indicating charging mode, if the BlackBerry PlayBook is disconnected from the charger, the following graphic will be displayed on the screen, indicating charging is not complete, and to reconnect the power source. The graphic will be displayed for 20 seconds before the BlackBerry® PlayBook powers off if the power source is not reconnected. The same graphic will also be displayed if the BlackBerry PlayBook is turned on and there is not sufficient power to perform the boot process.
If the BlackBerry PlayBook is plugged into a power source, and the power button is pressed to power on the device, the following graphic will be displayed if there is not sufficient power to perform the boot process. If this occurs, the BlackBerry PlayBook should be left plugged in to gain enough charge to boot.
Additional Information
Turning off the BlackBerry PlayBook and using standby mode.
Checking the battery power levelOn the status bar, tap the battery icon. When the battery power level is low, the BlackBerry PlayBook tablet will display a notification.
Enter standby modePress the Power button on the top of the BlackBerry PlayBook..
Exit standby modeSwipe down from the top frame to the bottom frame
Turn off the BlackBerry PlayBookPress and hold the Power button. Tap Shut Down.
To extend the BlackBerry PlayBook battery life, charge it regularly, close unused applications and keep the BlackBerry Playbook out of the sun and other hot places. The following may also be used to extend battery life:
Dim the screenOn the status bar, tap the Options icon (a gear), select the Screen tab and change the Brightness setting
Turn off the screen automaticallyOn the status bar, tap the Options icon, select the Screen tab and change the Backlight Time-out field
Enter standby mode automaticallyOn the status bar, tap the Options icon, select the Screen tab and change the Standby Time-out field
Turn off Wi-Fi when not in useOn the status bar, tap the Wireless icon and set the Wi-Fi switch to Off
Turn off Bluetooth connectivity when not in use
On the status bar, tap the Bluetooth icon and set the Bluetooth switch to Off
Pause apps when you show the home screen or switch between apps On the status bar, tap the Options icon, select the General tab and set the Application Behavior switch to Paused
With the upgrade to PlayBook OS 2.1.0.1032 the following message may be displayed when connecting the Playbook to a PC using the micro-USB cable:
Unable to charge battery with connected source
This message is displayed because the voltage provided is insufficient for charging. The USB voltage is limited to 384mA even if the maximum tolerance is 500mA. The voltage is limited to 384mA by design to avoid violating the USB specification which states USB devices cannot draw more than 500mA from the USB port.

No matter what distros(ubuntu,arch,debian & msft windows) i tried to install it gives the same "CPU is not compatible with 64bit mode".
VT-x/AMD-V and Nested paging are enabled btw. vboxdrv is modprobe'd. laptop's BIOS hyper-v is also enabled.

Dissapointing Customer Service, Please Pass This On

Pretty upset right now. I have switched from Aperture to Lightroom this year. I have used Version 2 and LR3 Beta for 6 months now. I have been looking forward to the full release like everyone else.
Needless to say I was extactic when Terry White posted last night that the upgrade would be available today.
So I grabed the trial version this morning with the intent of paying tonight, which I did.
I recieved an email that directed me to the download site where I was supposed to download and get a serial number. No Serial Number!
So that page told me to call Customer Service, which I did at 6:45 only to be put on hold until 7 pm when I was transferred and disconnected.
Not happy! ! !
So I contact the chat link only to find out that I should recieve another email in 24 hours with a serial number.
How such a great product have such terrible Customer Service.
This whole situation stinks and I am really ticked.
Anyone else?

There are already a few earlier threads on this topic. You might want to read them for the details. Apparently, Adobe's servers that deliver the serial numbers are backlogged for a day or so. No worries though. You can use the free 30-day trial until your serial numbers arrive. They are the exact same program. In fact you just enter your shiny new serial number into the trial after your serial number arrives and you are good-to-go. Most likely everything will be fine without you having to do anything more. Maybe if you haven't received your serial number in a couple of weeks you can contact Adobe. Things should be back to normal by then.

Music Player Update Needed ! [Mods Please Pass on ...

I think the nokia nseries phones such as N95/N95 8GB/N82/N96 etc should get the follwoing update in the music Player;
- Bass Quality/Audio Quality/Loudness Quality upgraded to something like N91 Quality via headphones.
- 3D Effects "Reverbation" added to Music Player such as Railway Station, Cave, Living Room, Forest, Duct, Off.
This will be better for Nsereis phone that use Stereo Speakers so the quality of music effect can be heard directy from the speakers.
- Metadata Set to Standard so encoding software can add jpeg image directy into the file needed for encoding and no need for manual loacting images and using alertante software for editing the metadata on the file such as ID3 tags n so on...this will make album art come up automatically when the user selects a music in the phone.
there seems to be problem with N82 v20 were is metadata for music files are abit off. I use Easy CD-DA Extractor v11.5.3 Pro and add album art to all my encoded files in aacPlus but the problem is N82 doesnt display the Album Art. on other phones such as N95/N91/N73/N95 8GB it displays album art Correctly. Think nokia need to change the n82 metadata profiling in the firmware.

That's Activation Lock. You will need to remember the Apple ID and password you used to set up the phone.
If you can't remember them, you can go to iforgot.apple.com to try to recover the information.
If you are the original owner of the phone & have proof of purchase, you can try calling Apple to see if they can assist also.

Check for hardware issues
Try to restore your iOS device two more times while connected with a cable, computer, and network you know are good. Also, confirm your security software and settings are allowing communication between your device and update servers. If you still see the alert when you update or restore, contact Apple support.
Common errors: 1, 10-47, 1002, 1011, 1012, 1014, 1000-1020.

Okay, I understand that I'm not going to get mms right now, but please change this!!!
There is no reason that the www.viewmessage.com url doesn't include the message id and password which would make my life and everyone else's way easier. Please just make the "Viewmymessage" template to something like www.viewmymessage.com/?MSGID=q21xddmfs&Pass=asdwsdf3 -- Even if it just fills the form fields on the viewmymessage.com site. ANYTHING would be better then trying to remember the most cryptic message id and password ever!

You will need to do what it says, contact iTunes support. Click the Support tab above, then the Get Started link in the Contact Apple Support area and you'll be guided.
