Pour ne pas surcharger je n'ai pas précisé que j'avais déjà regardé là bas.

In iTunes, select the iPod in the iTunes sidebar, under DEVICES. Over to the right, go to the Summary tab.
There should be a checkbox that says Enable disk use. Check it and Apply the change. It should now appear in Windows, when the iPod is connected.
NOTE: When Disk Use is enable, you have to eject the iPod (in iTunes) before physically disconnecting it from computer.

On the iPod turn off iCloud for calender, contacts and other things (Settings>iCloud) and turn off automatic downloading for apps and books (Settings>Store).

Our I tunes is not allowing us to sync and update our music on any ipod. We can see our songs in music library but as soon as we plug ipod in to sync all songs have an "!" is next to them and it erased our ipods. How do you fix this?

When I use find file http://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/30073/find-file (which does tend to find files that "Finder" can't), it's not coming up with any other itunes library files that have been modified in the past week, which I know it would have been - unfortunately, I don't have a very recent backup of the hard drive. iPads sync to 1 computer only.
All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that purchased them.
Without your relatives ID and password, you cannot update any of the Apps.
I am pretty certain he is also violating Apples terms of service by giving you the apps.
