Monitor all the events created by the server

I need to create a mail alert when any new events generated (application and System) and any service started or stopped ( both manual or automatic)

Agree with Alexis. It is advisable not to monitor all windows event and any service start or stop.
For every windows service start/ stop status, system event with event 7036 is logged. You should create a event rule to monitor event id 7036 and then a email subscription in order to create a mail alert for any service start or stopped. For monitor new
events generated in application and system, you can use event rule to monitor. For detail on how to create evt rule, pls. refer to

Do we have any method to list out the servers that are critical and the component/monitor causing the server to turn into critical state in SCOM 2012

Hello Team,
We are monitoring 1000 servers in our environment and out of 1000 servers, we have approximately 100 servers showing as critical state on the server state view.
We can get the critical servers list from SCOM console, but we are not able to get the information about the component responsible for the server to be critical. Using Health explorer to find the root cause for 100 servers is really impossible and time consuming.
Do we have any method to list out the servers that are critical and the component/monitor causing the server to turn into critical state?

As far as I know alerts with severity as criticla may cause windows computer in a critical state, we can try below code to find all critical alerts：
get-alert -criteria 'ResolutionState=0 AND Severity=2' | select Name,ResolutionState,TimeRaised | export-csv c:\Alerts.txt

Values to use.
Resolution State
Severity Values for Alerts
0 = New
0 = INFORMATIONAL
255 = Closed
1 = WARNING
2 = CRITICAL

I would agree with you. One thing that may halp is that you can get the SQL details from the document refresh action. This might provide the technical details you need

All day events created on iPod touch syncing a day late in iCal

Hi everyone,
When I create an all day event on the iPod touch and then sync to my mac, the newly created event shows up a day late in iCal, but remains correct on the iPod. I've noticed one or two other forums where people are having this problem but it doesn't appear to have been solved yet. Has anyone got any ideas about why this would happen? It's really bugging me as the calendar was one of the main reasons I bought the iPod in the first place, I'm thinking about taking it back if I can't get it to work. It appears to be a new problem as of some time this year (judging by other's experience, I've only had mine a week) so perhaps a dodgy software update?

should clarify that I deleted duplicate events on the ipod so that should have left one in ical. there is still one listed in ical on the ipod but not on the computer, so deleting duplicate entry deleted it entirely from my ical on computer and mobile me. no icloud yet

Calendar display issues for "All Day Events" coming from Exchange Server

My problem is with the display of All Day events. I'm running a 3gs, Outlook 2007 on winxp, connected to a Exchange 2007 server. When an all day event is put in for multiple days the phone calendar displays it as starting at midnight going to midnight, and sometimes wont display the event on the list view on the phone. I can correct the display by editing it on the phone and making it all day there, but then the category I assigned the event in outlook goes away in outlook. All day single day events work just fine. Any suggestions?

All day events scheduled from Entourage display incorrectly on iPhone/iPad as non-all-day events (which block out entire day/multiple days)
All day events scheduled from iPhone/iPad show up correctly in Entourage as all-day events, but incorrectly with an *extra day* added.

Wen I first purchased this computer it ran perfectly with no issues at all. All of a sudden all these flipping pop-ups started coming up from every angle of my monitor. They will be from HP, consumers, you name it! Then I'll have messages about java, trojans, drivers.......I'm so confused!!!!
Please help me!!! My son and I are online students and these always get in the way and slow the system down.

Admin logs to monitor all the changes done in ESA

We have a situation wherein we want to see who accessed the Ironport ESA appliance and did a configuration change. Would we be able to do it? or Can Cisco Support can find it out from backend?

Grep your system_logs files for the word "commit". That will list the date/time and person who committed a change, along with their description of the change if they provided one. Of course, their description is only as accurate as they wanted it to be.

Can I set all existing events in a ICal Server calendar to 'private'?

I am consolidating my calendar histories. I have been able to get everything in my iCal Server calendar. But what I'd like to do is set all events before a certain date to 'private' as public/private has been lost for all items. I do want them in the iCal Server and not in a local client side calendar.
Is there a way to do this?

Load js file fail while the server returned successfully

I found a wired problem in our user's firefox.
in our project, we need load many javascript files to render the form,
we have two similar js files, in firefox one loaded successfully while the other will not, but both of the js files can be loaded successfully in Chrome.
I debugged in firebug, in most times, it will have no return, and if I try to refresh the page, I can still see the request of previous page, and the response says "please reload the page to get source for http://......"
we doubt if this is because the server didn't return successfully, I used WireShark to monitor the packages received from server. It is strange that the js file returned with Http code "200"
it means the server returned successfully, but the browser didn't load it.
and this problem only happens in firefox of our user in north china, for those from Japan, Thailand, USA don't have this problem, and if I use proxy in USA, the problem will not happen either.

I monitored all the requests in browser console, I found there is a POST request to safebrowsing.clients.google.com.
this request cost more than 40 seconds.
In which situation, Browser will send request to safebrowsing.clients.google.com?

Any ideas? I get this all the time now... literally, all the time.

Downloaded and installed BusyCal 30d trial, works perfectly, is tightly integrated into OS X and iCloud and offers more features and better stability than iCal. UI may not be THAT stylish, but this leather-book-imitate iCal style is definitly a no-go.
In BusyCal, I opened all those events that produced this Server Error 403 in iCal, without any bugs or findings. Moreover, as I tried to delete single events or whole calenders in iCal, iCal wanted no notify ALL event organisators for ALL events (past and future) that I'm declining my participation... gosh!!!
I tried to repeat this in BusyCal and see - you can delete everything w/o anyone being notified.
I don't know what's wrong with those guys at Apple programming iCal and Mail, but those 2 are some of the worst, inconvenient and dysfunctional products ever designed in Cupertino. I think they use Mail only for mailing their moms and iCal only for reminding them to buy some carrots. With all this money and power floating around at Apple, I really can't imagine how this is possible...
