Monitor displaying at 150%

Not sure where to post this, but monitors seems like the right spot.
I have a Samsung LCD monitor connected to my powermac G4. I was trying to adjust the view setting on a game I was playing and it reset the whole monitor settings. Don't recall just what did it, but was pushing control + / -; alt key with + - and those keys with "0" key too. It didn't change the game, but did wack out my display settings.
The display is now at around 150+ %. I move my mouse around and it seems to float and shift the display so I can view what's off to the side.
So my question -- how do I get back to 100%?
System preferences display setting is at 1280 x 1024, colors millions, 75 hertz refresh rate.
Not sure what else to check. Thanks for your assistance!

The Firefox Page Zoom feature does a domain by domain level of saving the users preferred zoom level settings, there is no default Page Zoom level setting in Firefox.

  • External Monitor display issue

The external monitor for my mac book pro displays large/wide text when both screens are open.  If I shut the laptop, the external monitor display returns to a normal view.  I tried going to system preferences, displays and it's either on best for display or in scaled, the maximum 1920 x 1080.
    Please advise.

Where is extended display mode? In display screen, the mirrored mode is checked, both displays are in 1920 x 1080, not sure what else I can do here?  BTW: it just started happening (all was normal on both screens) until I used laptop at my work and connected it to external screen (school) with VGA adaptor (at home I use a DVI).

  • CMYK images: strange monitor display & and printing

I tried the way Pages 2 handles CMYK images today and found out some strange things.
    My problem: monitor display
CMYK .jpg files are displayed inverted on screen like a negative - black is white and white is black. Layouting basicly rendered useless. Is there a work arround ?
    Solved: Printing
For printing there are at least two ways to get a decent result. Here my findings:
    - Any color printers
"Print - ColorSync - Color Conversion" set to "Standard" => CMYK images get converted to RGB
"Print - ColorSync - Color Conversion" set to "Printer specific" => CMYK images stay in CMYK if printer is able to print CMYK
    - use "Save to PDF" within printing dialog
Same as above, profiles tagged to images stay correct
    - Adobe Acrobat Distiller
Same as above, but PDF looses recognizeable profile information. PDF workflow software does not recognize "SWOP" or "ISOcoated" by name but has "Embedded Adobe Postscript CRD Profile" instead which will create problems in workflow processing.
    - Exporting "File - Export - PDF"
Profiles stay intact and are handled correctly.

Thanks Noel for the reply. Hopefully  this will help.
This is how the file should look like.
This is how the file usually displays.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • How do I remove a blank 1"X1" blank spot in upper left corner of monitor display?

How do I remove a blank 1"X1" spot in the upper left corner of monitor display?

    What version of Pages?
What instructions? It sounds like you have got the wrong ones and are trying to delete a page in the Thumbnails, which will delete th entire section.
If you have a blank page in a Word Processing template, it is because there is some text on it, even a return, tab, space or page break:
Menu > View > Show Invisibles > backspace over whatever it is to get rid of it

  • Source monitor displays a different size to Program monitor in CC2014

I have imported a clip and the source monitor displays a different size in the program monitor?
    Thanks Chris

It looks like your sequence is set up for the wrong size. Select a video file and right click 'New Sequence from Clip' see if that helps. I see that your video material is HD did you set up the sequence to match the earlier stills? that might be bigger than HD? If that is the case make a sequence the size for the video and use 'scale to frame size' for the stills.

  • Macbook pro had coffee spilled on it 2 weeks ago, all works fine except monitor display.

Macbook pro had coffee spilled on it two weeks ago; all working fine now except for the monitor, display is dim and photos not appearing properly. Any suggestions? Apple said would cost too much to repair, anyone had any luck with outside repair facilities? thanks.

I would check with HP. Your scanner may need a firmware update and updated HP software. Start here:

  • Secondary monitor displays with colorshift

secondary monitor displays with colorshift in LR4.1rc2. this is on windows 7/64.
Both my  monitors i have are calibrated with spyder3, one is hardwarecalibrated eizo CG243, the other a HP2475 calibrated with spyder4 elite software.
Colorshift shows same characteristics when i switch LR app window with secondary window.
IT looks as if sRGB profile is applied to the secondary preview, because of the  strong/overly saturated colors.
It seems to  me a softwarebug, which makes secondary display inusable.
How is color management supposed to work in LR4?

It works fine with me (LR4.1 RC2, but previously used RC1, LR4.0, LR3.6... all worked the same).
I have a wide-gamut HP LP2475w (approx Adobe RGB  gamut) and a Samsung193P (approx sRGB).  Both calibrated/profiled with Color Munki Display, but I've previously used Eye One and Spyder units.  After calibration/profiling, LR main and secondary display look the same in both Loupe and Develop view, and no matter which is LR's primary display.  (Obviously, colours outside sRGB gamut don't look the same!)
I've just checked, and it still seems to be the case on my set up (W7 64-bit).
I can't think what the problem might be.  I guess you've checked in Control Panel / Color Management that the correct profiles are assigned to each monitor.  And I guess that you've got a video card with dual LUTs that allows separate calibration (mind you, I've never come across any cards that don't have separate LUTs, but apparently there are some).
PS - Web view might be different, as I think LR uses IE for rendering in web view only, and IE doesn't colour-manage properly.

  • Stuck with 1024x768 resolution/monitor/display

After re-installing Snow Leopard on my friend's mac,
My screen resolution/monitor/display can only get 1024x768. System Prefs doesnt allow me other display options, they are blank.
Asked, Googled, people say it may be bad/corrupted video kext.
    Is this the case?
If so how to find the folder where video kext is and
where to get the clean video kext file to replace?
    Thanks so much!

Reinstall OS X, but erase the drive first. If you reinstalled over an existing but corrupted system it could cause this problem.

  • Does anyone know the status of the new CMYK monitor display Apple is developing?

Does anyone know the status of the new CMYK monitor display Apple is developing?

I have the same iMac as you but with a 1 TB hard drive.
Apple replaced the 1 TB hard drive of iMacs manufactured between October 2009 and July 2011 because of problems. When I took my iMac, the Genius gave me the bill (even if the repair was free) and the 1 TB hard drive cost about $100. This was with a 1 TB Seagate hard drive, so the cost for a 500 GB hard drive may be smaller, depending on the brand
