Monitor Driver for T530 - version

Hello,
I am using a T530 with Windows 7 64-bit as operating system.
The Driver Matrix on Lenovo's Homepage suggest to use the monitor driver with the version 4.38. However, Windows updates offers me an optional update for the monitor driver, which has the version 5.0.0.1. This is also working, but I am wondering about the different versions.
Does anyone has an explanation?
Michele

Hi Michele,
Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
Since the 5.0.0.1 version is working fine, it’s well and ok. Probably, the latest compatible driver is not updated in the Lenovo support page. In certain cases, Lenovo customizes the drivers for proper functionality. Since the version you have installed is working fine, you can continue using the same.
Best regards,
Mithun.

  • HP Pavilion 23tm 23-inch Diagonal Touch Monitor driver for windows 10

When I upgraded from Win 8.1 to Windows 10, the driver for this monitor was not migrated.  A generic driver was installed instead.  The generic driver does not support screensaver or sleep mode on this monitor.  Is there a new HP driver compatible with Windows 10?

  • Third party windows 8.1 driver for VMSpc Version 3.0

I purchased a HP Stream 7 to use as an engine monitor for my motorhome. The tablet will not recognize the driver for the JIB. I have the latest driver and it installs perfectly on my Pavilion x2 with the same operating system. Nothing seems to work with the tablet.  It appears to install manually without the JIB connected. Once I plug it in it states the software cannot load. The software is VMSpc from Silverleaf Electronics. Any help out there? I can use the Pavilion for the project but really want to use the stream 7 due to it's size.
    Thanks,
    Donald Tomlin

Yes, the jib connects by USB and I used a combination OTG cable to connect the power, GPS and USB to the same port. I have the program installed on half the screen and Delorme Street Atlas with GPS on the other side so that both are on the screen at the same time. Works great in all respects except for the driver issues so no engine data at this time but it looks cool. Also ordered a window mount for the PC so I can mount it like a Garmin. May be a problem with the Atom processor used in the PC.?

    Hi:
You should be able to use the Vista graphics driver from your model's support and driver page.
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-51246-1&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&...
You may have to manually install the driver if you get an Unsupported Operating System error message when you run the file.

    Hi:
You need to manually install the Vista graphics driver as follows...
    http://h20565.www2.hp.com/portal/site/hpsc/template.PAGE/public/psi/swdDetails/?sp4ts.oid=462858&spf...
Download and run the above driver.   You will probably get an unsupported operating system error.
Close out of any error windows.  Go to the device manager.  Click to expand the Display Adapters category.
Click on the Standard VGA Adapter.  Click on the driver tab.  Click on Update Driver.
Select the Browse my computer for driver software method, and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.
The folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp34716.
Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked, and the driver should install.
After you reboot hopefully, the graphics should be working just fine.

  • Monitor driver for 42SL417U?

Hello! When I connect my notebook to the monitor, 42SL417U, via VGA, I can only get resoluctions like 1280x1024, 1024x768 etc. However, when it's connected with a 1920x1080 monitor, it can support 1920x1080 without any problem. I noticed when the TV is connected, it showed a generic PNP monitor. Is there a driver I can use so I can display 1920x1080 on the TV?

Page 75 of your user's guide has a table listing "PC IN signal formats," and 1920x1080 is not listed.

Is there an alternative, non-apple driver?
How can I control monitor brightness on a Win XP box?

Ah, the Sourceforge project download works perfectly! Note: It's at version 0.4.6., as of my visit to the site today.
    Thank you!

  • Driver for MM4000 series (motion controller) for labview 6.1 (gpib)

    Hello,
I need the instrument driver for a newport motion controller MM4006.
I found the driver for MM4000 series, it could be ok, but I need it for labview 6.1 and not  for labview 7 or 8.
Is it possible to find this driver for older version of labview than 7 or 8?
    Thanks
    Best regards.

Good idea, I'm not sure of the result, but... Here is the zip file (aviable here).

  • PS driver for Windows 7?

Well, people are moving to Windows 7, and so must I. However, my trusty (and ancient, by electronics standards) Minolta PageWorks/Pro 25 printer, with Adobe PS 3 (3010.106) SIMM, is now just a very large piece of metal and plastic on my desk. It is working perfectly well with OS X 10.6 and Win XP.  Why should I have to shell out another $400 or whatever to replace a printer that is working perfectly?
Does anyone know of a free or for sale generic PS driver for Windows 7? Of course I would like something free, but if there's something to buy, I would happily do that. Any suggestions as to how to get a (networked) PS printer to work with W 7?  (I do still have its PPD.) Thanks for any pointers.
    -Conrad

There is no such beast as an Adobe Printer Driver for any version of Windows beyond WIndows NT4 and WIndows'98. The Adobe Printer Driver Installer simply associates a user-specified PPD (PostScript Printer Description) file for a particular printer model with the PSCRIPT5 driver that comes with the operating system for versions of Windows starting with Windows 2000. In most cases, it is not at all different than using the Add Printer wizard.
Note that the Adobe Printer Driver Installer does not work with any version of Windows beyond Windows XP and with no 64-bit version of Windows. (It is a 16-bit application and such applications won't even run on 64-bit Windows.)
Adobe has not plans to update that installer given that the original versions of Windows for which it was intended no longer are supported by Microsoft and similar functionality for PostScript printers is available through the Add Printer wizard (normally using the same PSCRIPT5 driver as a base used by the old Adobe installer) or through custom installers provided by individual printer manufacturers. Very, very few printer vendors provide truly unique PostScript drivers for their (typically) CloneScript printers; such drivers typically don't work properly with PostScript-centric applications such as Adobe Acrobat & Reader, Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe's Creative Suite applications, QuarkXPress, CorelDraw, etc. Many vendors (including those using Adobe PostScript) use PSCRIPT5 as a base with their own PPD as well as proprietary driver plug-ins that provide some "product differentiation" to the driver (sometimes good, sometimes bad).

  • Oracle ODBC Driver for Rdb on WinME

The Oracle Universal Installer is not working properly when I try installing the new ODBC driver for Rdb (version 3.0.1.2). The Installer starts, but does not present the NAME field as it has for both Win95 and Win2K. In the destination PATH field is the pathname to the temporary folder I've unzipped the Installer/Driver to and when I change this to an existing folder, i.e., C:\ORAHOME, the Installer informs me that it cannot access the staging area and asks that I check the staging area and destination pathnames.
I have successfully installed the older version 2 driver on ME, but it uses the older installer software. Despite Oracle's claims to the contrary, this new Java-based Installer just doesn't work on ME.
If anyone can help with I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
    Terry

    Hello,

  • T530 windows 8.1 Intel graphics driver for Widi

A new graphics driver appears to be required when running Widi on the T530 after an upgrade to Windows 8.1.   Intel provides a generic version 15.33.5.64.3316, but this will not load on the T530.   It fails because it wants me to load a version from Lenovo.   Lenovo does not appear to have released a new graphics driver for the Intel 4000 graphics processor yet.   When will that be available?
    Barry
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

You need to uninstall the existing intel driver using programs and features in control panel. After restarting, the generic driver should be able to install using the installer. I wouldn't force install via device manger as when I did that it left components of the old driver around and caused system hanging.

  • Which version packages do I need for T530 with Windows 7 x64?

    - Power Management Driver:
    This version http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS032258
    Or this version http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS014939
    - Intel Management Engine Firmware:
    This version http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS028929
    Or this version http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/detail.page?DocID=DS032435
The reason I'm asking is because Lenovo Support Driver & Software website lists all these versions for T530 with Windows 7 x64.

usually i go for the newer version.
and on my thinkpad i installed power management driver version 1.66
and for ime firmware the second link you provided.
    good luck

  • Can i set up my drive as encrypted with different partitions for different versions of osx?

i have some questions about setting up an encrypted drive with different versions of osx installed on separate partitions, and how this choice effects time-machine and the emergency recovery disk.
I have a new/refurbished macbook pro with a SSD.  it already has mavericks installed.  i want to fully wipe the drive and reinstall everything my self because I'm odd like that.
    first wiping the current drive
Does the recovery partition get wiped if i use disk-utility to reformat the drive. Even thought the recovery partition does not show up as a partition, when i look at it with disk-utility? i would like to know I've wiped all partitions so that no little bugger gets left with out me knowing. Disk-utility does not show the recovery partition and this makes me concerned it might not wipe it.
Does mavericks automatically make a recovery partition during the installation process? Or do i need to make a new 1gb partition for the recovery disk?
Can i have two different partitions on my drive with separate installations of OSX on it? (one for work that i don't update the system os till my current project is done, and the other for experimenting with new software.)
will time machine back up both of the partitions or just one?
can i accomplish all this from a bootable usb drive or do i need to do this in target disk mode?
do i need to use a more capable utility than the stock apple "disk-utility"?
when reformatting the drive should i format it as encrypted or let file vault do this after i install mavericks?
how much does encryption slow down performance for things like photo/video/music production?

Do a backup before you do anything.
Does the recovery partition get wiped if i use disk-utility to reformat the drive
    It shouldn't
Does mavericks automatically make a recovery partition during the installation process?
    Yes.
Can i have two different partitions on my drive with separate installations of OSX on it?
    Yes.
will time machine back up both of the partitions or just one?
It will as long as one partition is not excluded in the Time Machine/Options.
do i need to use a more capable utility than the stock apple "disk-utility"?
No, just boot into the Recovery Volume (command  - R on a restart).
file vault do this after i install mavericks?
I would let File Vault do that.
