Monitor release (Bildschirmfreigabe) in OS 10.7.3 not working

I used to run a Mac Mini as a Music server locked in a cabinet, without monitor just as a naked machine.
Whenever I needed to do some service to the machine, like adding a new CD, I connected via a Mac Book Air using the built in remote acces (Bildschirmfreigabe).
Since updating both machines to 10.7.3 thsi doesn work anymore. I get no acces at all, or a question for a password (which I changed a few times on the Mini, but it is not acceptet from remote. I am desperate!
Any idea?
Thanks
Falk

Ok. So like I said, I tried this several times at my house. Now I'm over at my parents and I tried it once and it worked fine. We both have the same internet provider. I had read from someone somewhere that he tried it with different internet and it worked. Can anyone explain why this is? Both seemed to download at same speed.

  • Message Monitoring Tool in RWB for Integration Engine Messages not working

    Hi all
We currently work on a Pi 7.11 system. I f we start the runtime workbench and going to the message monitoring, we want to get in to a message in the integration engine.  Normaly we should get the same sxi_monitor in the web browser, but we only get the soap envelope. The pipeline steps on the  left side and also the payload cannot be seen.
We increased the rights of the user to sap_all but this did not changed anything. We also implemented the J2EE monitoring rule.
Seems to me as we forgot a setting after installation, but which??
Thanks in advance for  your help.
    Oliver

    Hi Oliver,
I work on PI 7.0 and I know it's very different from 7.1x releases, but your problem sounds like a similar "problem" on 7.0.
Is your message sycronous? At PI 7.0 the default configuration is defined to remove the payload of sync messages. You can change it on JAVA Visual Administrator.
Try to find this parameter in Java Visual Administrator and set it to "false", below you will find the PI 7.0 path to this:
Server >> Services >> SAP XI AF Messaging >> messaging.syncMessageRemover.removeBody
    I hope it helps,

  • External monitor says no signal and retina display is not working

my retina display stopped working, then i got an external monitor to view my desktop. I then set my laptop back to its factory settings. but now i can't view anything no matter how many monitors I try. I tried the dvi the hdmi and nothing.

    Hi,
    Have you tried
    1.leaving the screen flipped open,
    2.connecting power
    3. connecting external monitor; waiting for it to 'wake up';
then 4. closing lid of MBP to activate clamshell mode?

  • Secondary monitor does not work after OS X install

My secondary monitor does not work well after OS X install. The image on my secondary monitor is different even the screen svaer image is different and the mouse can not be seen.

Try the easy thing first - NVRAM reset:
    Shut down your Mac.
Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.
If that does not work, post back with more info, including the version of Mac OS you are running. How is the external monitor connected, did it ever work, and from what OS X to what was the "OS X install" in your title?

  • 3 DVI monitor not working after upgrade

I have three monitors connected to my new Mac pro via Active Minidisplay port to DVI adapters. They are all Dell 24" (1 2407,and 2 2405) they worked fine on 10.9.2 but after the upgrade to 10.9.3 only two monitors will work now. Verfiied that I was following Apple's document on connecting the three monitors.  If I Disconnect one of the two working monitor the previous blank one would automatically go active.

This issue is caused by a bug in OS X 10.9.3. The following steps have been reported to resolve it in some cases (not all.) If none of them works for you, the only other option is to revert to 10.9.2, which can be done by restoring a pre-update backup. You may prefer to wait for Apple to release another update, but I don't know when that will happen.
    1. Reset the System Management Controller.
    2. Reset the PRAM.
    3. Install the Combo updater.

  • New Release QuickVPN client 1.4.0.5 for windows 7 does not work????

New release of QuickVPN client version  1.4.0.5  for windows 7 is not working properly.
We can not connect; instead we receive this message:
"Remote Gateway is not responding, do you want to wait?"
    Dear Cisco,,,,
Your release is not complete; please correct issue and advise after it has been tested.
    Rgds, EM

Hi, first disable this POLSTORE.DLL again in your QuickVPN-Folder. Then start in this folder IPSEC.MSC and than IPSEC.EXE. You should get from IPSEC.EXE  the error above. If not, than any other problem you have. Follow all the hints here in this thread.
If you get the same error above, than enable this POLSTORE.DLL again and start the IPSEC.EXE. You get the full info what has been gone. And within the IPSEC-Window for Local Computer you may find this FREESWAN-setting.
B.t.w. before I went this way I did export and import the IPSEC-settings from the XP-machine, as it was hinted some posts earlyer. But the way I have gone, works also with manualy deleting the FREESWAN config. With the IPSEC.EXE it will new generated in any case.
When you start via QuickVPN you may monitor also what happens within this IPSEC for Local Computer. Press F5 to keep it aktual.
From time to time the connection gets only succeeded after the second and more times. I have a very slow UMTS Internet-Access.
    Juergen
Adding: These effects, getting not connected, first and during the VPN-Tunnel exists, has not changed since the top-first Version of Quick-VPN.
Dear customer, be patient, don't care about these stupid messages, click again or when the connection allready has succeeded through the VPN-tunnel do what you did like to do.
...... and again, with which configuration-scenario do the guys at Cisco test and develop .....
Fortunately, I never was a Cisco partner, only a poor user ;)

  • EEM script to monitor OSPF neighbor not working

I'm trying to monitor a OSPF neighbor syslog notification event to trigger actions to remove a network statement.  I shut down the interface to the monitored neighbor and it removes the network statement which is good.  I am also trying to monitor the neighbor to come back up and then re add the removed network statement which is not working.  This may be a two part problem but I am receiving warnings that not enough vty lines are available.  I am not seeing that the network addition is working at all.  Here is my configuration.
    event manager applet ospf-watch-down
event syslog pattern "OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 100, Nbr 1.1.1.2 on FastEthernet1/0 from FULL to DOWN"

action 3.0 cli command "router ospf 100"
action 4.0 cli command "no network 2.2.2.0 0.0.0.255 area 0"
    action 5.0 cli command "end"
    action 6.0 cli command "exit"
    event manager applet ospf-watch-up
event syslog pattern "OSPF-5-ADJCHG: Process 100, Nbr 1.1.1.1 on FastEthernet1/0 from LOADING to FULL"

    action 5.0 cli command "end"
    action 6.0 cli command "exit"
Here is the EM syslog error message " %HA_EM-3-FMPD_ERROR: Error executing applet ospf-watch-down statement 3.0"  I am having the EM end and exit so I'm not sure why it's running out of CLI sessions.  I'm also getting this one too " %HA_EM-3-FMPD_CLI_CONNECT: Unable to establish CLI session: no tty lines available, minimum of 2 required by EEM"
I've tested the ospf-watch-up and ospf-watch-down on its own after clearing all of the sessions and they each work on their own.  I think this is a bug where eem won't release the session.

I know this is a old post. I was able to use the solution below, but I am having one problem.
Using the below config I am able to receive a email anytime my voice port is in any other state than ON HOOK. The problem I have is the script runs every 30 seconds and I receive an email every 30 seconds the line is in any other state than "ON-HOOK".
Is there a way to have only one email generated ONLY when the state changes from the previous state?
example : the line is on-hook, changes to off-hook or park or whatever- a email would be generated.  ( only One email). not one every 30 seconds...
The line goes from Off-Hook back to IDLE.  - A email would be generated to advise the line has been restored to a IDLE state.

    Hai,
    Please check the link below...
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/bb/9f13194b9b11d189750000e8322d00/frameset.htm
If you have a stand alone gateway on WINDOWS then you can kill the process and start it again, if you have installed together with your Instance then you should restart the whole Instance.
Killing the process gwrd and then starting or forcing it to start will not work (waste of time), I have had the similar problem sometime back but on UNIX. I guess it will be same in WINDOWS as well.
So the better way is to restart the whole Instance.

  • Mini DisplayPort to DVI not working, No Multi-Monitor, Jerky Mouse

I have an iMac, 27 inch, 2009 model.
Until today I've had a second monitor attached via the Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter. The monitor is a Samsung SyncMaster T260. This setup has worked perfectly well so far.
Until today that is. Now the monitor is not recognised any more and if I try to select "Detect Displays" the mouse pointer hangs every few seconds - stops dead and then restarts again.
What did I do to make this happen? Nothing (that i'm aware of). Haven't installed anything, not done a software update, just literally rebooted and it's not working anymore.
    _*Things that still work...*_
The Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter works on a Mac Mini, so that's OK
The DVI cable works fine when plugged into a PC or Mac Mini, so that's OK
The Monitor works fine when plugged into a PC or Mac Mini, via DVI, HDMI or VGA, so that's OK
So I've established that, in isolation, each part of the system is functioning perfectly well.
*_Things I have tried - without success..._*
    1) Rebooting - both iMac and monitor
    2) Unplugging all cables and reconnecting then rebooting again
    3) Clearing the PRAM - done it twice just to make sure
    4) Updated to OS X 10.6.7
    5) Reset the SMC
    6) Deleted the com.apple.windowserver.plist files at /Library and ~/Library
    7) Googled for solutions - plenty of people seem to have one or the other of these symptoms...
Can anyone shed any light on what's happened here ? Please help!
    Cheers
    Mart
** Sorry if this is in the wrong place, I just found a forum specifically for the iMac so posted it there but not sure how to delete this one. **

Well, it would be interesting if that's when it had occurred. At the time, I hadn't installed 10.6.7, and hadn't installed anything immediately prior to the problem occurring.
It doesn't seem like there's any way (a-la System Files Checker on Windows) of checking the integrity of system files which may have been corrupted, nor a way of reinstalling any update in the case of this happening - or is there a way of doing this? You don't seem to have any control over updates apart from applying them - if something does go wrong, there's no way of backing out. I guess Time Machine is the answer to my own question there.
I'm happy that it's working now, but it was a pretty extreme fix to have to wipe the entire system. At least it wasn't a hardware issue, I'll be thankful for that!

  • PI 1.3 Interface Monitor is not working

    Dear all,
Today, I found one more very basic monitoring of Cisco PI 1.3 is not working.
I enabled interface health monitoring on Cisco PI 1.3 for some critical ports.
However, even I shutdown these ports the PI still show them as UP.
I am really disappointed with PI.
    Best Regards

    1. Yeah I Have checked Changes done on the RPd.
    2. I have run a sample report on the answers and also a dashboard created
    3. The sample report run has not Dynamic variables or any other system variables.
    Thanks for the reply.

  • UCCX: Silent monitoring is not working and recorded file is also not playing

    Hi,
Running UCM 8.5 cluster with UCCX 8.5.
In CSD, silent monitoring is not working.
Windows XP OS is running on supervisor desktop. when i select the agent
then the silent monitoring icon will highlighted once i click on the icon,
after 5-7 seconds i am getting an error "Silent monitoring session has
    failed".
Not able to playback the recorded files:
I can able to record and the file size is 2.6mb for approximate 3min
recording. When i tried to play from supervisor record viewer it is playing
but no voice is coming. And i downloaded using play & save option and
tried to play the .wav file but i can't hear any voice.
Problem is while playing back the recorded file. I can able to see the
    recorded files in the UCCX.
    Please help me out!!!
    Thanks & Regards,
    Krishna

It's likely the same problem: CAD is not forwarding packets to CSD or the CCX recording service. Two common causes for this are:
The phone is not spanning to the PC port or does not allow PC Port VLAN Access. Change these options to true on the phone's configuration in CUCM.
The NIC of the agent's PC running CAD is not processing 802.1q-tagged Ethernet frames. It must not drop these and pass them into the Windows NDIS stack for CAD to get them. Google is your friend here; this commonly requires registry changes to make the NIC process the packets.

  • External Monitor Not Working With Macbook Pro

My computer was working fine with an external monitor, then my computer froze, and I had to hold down the power button. When I turned it back on, my computer would not work with an external monitor. I've tried different cables, so it's not the cable. The monitor is being detected by the computer, but nothing is showen on the external monitor. When connecting the monitor to the computer, the computer's screen goes blue, then turns back to normal. I
I cannot reset the SMC by removing the battery, I do not have the confidence to remove my battery, and do not have the time to send the computer to someone else to do it.
I also tried updating my OS from 10.7.4 (Might've been 10.7.3) to 10.7.5.
My computer is a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2010), running OS X 10.7.5 Lion.
I need to get this problem fixed ASAP, any help is appreciated.
    Kind Regards,
    Sergee237

I forgot to mention, I'm connecting the monitor via MiniDisplay -> HDMI. I've also tried USB -> HDMI and USB -> DVI -> HDMI but none of them seem to work.
