Hi Friends,
We have installed Willy introscope and Configured SMD for EP system.
Working fine.. we can able to monitor the EP System, Java System through SMD.
Now, I need to know , what are the Theshold Values for
1. EP response time, CPU utilization, Memeory,threads,...etc
Please provide me document for above....

Everything is possible (customizing and/or developemt)...
But can you explain the business case to me? that would make it more easy to help you in your query...
ITS is older technology then EP and is dedicated to SAP Backend systems. EP is a generic platform for providing users a rolebased application and content platform. SAP EP is super in enabling access to SAP Applications (also ITS) and in addition can suply access to document via KM workflow via UWL and even to non SAP systems via different ways.
So again if you explain why in the world you would like to run EP via ITS then I can better help you...

You have to share more information...
What storage?
What tapes?
What switches/directors?
To monitor your devices as network devices you just need SNMP ports (161/162) and ICMP enabled. Minimum requirement is SNMP get for the discovery and monitors/rules that poll the device.

How do you monitor direct through hardware?

Hello,
I am experiencing popping sounds when I record in a very simple setup and just want to monitor direct through my Motu Traveler. This will allow me to keep latency to a minimum and my buffer size relatively low.
Can you advise me how to engage this option on Logic 7??
Is it via 'Software Monitoring'??

First you have to deactivate "Software Monitoring" in Logic.
There must be an extra software by MotU for adjusting direct monitoring.
Don't know the name. Look in your Applications folder.

Monitoring HD through HDMI

Hi All,
I am busy cutting HD footage that I'm monitoring through my BX (broadcast) monitor HD-SDI and my client has a large Plasma screen that he is viewing off, which the tech guy cables in off the HDMI signal from the BlackMagic Multibridge box. Obviously the BX monitor is clearer and crisper, but I was wondering if any of you could enlighten me on using HDMI...if any of you do use it and/or if I shouldn't even consider it. I for one will use the old CRT broadcast monitors for as long as possible but would love to know what you all are doing.

I don't even know of any broadcast monitors which can be connected via HDMI... only consumer displays as far as I know... Can say though that a Panny or better yet a Pioneer plasma can be dialed in black level wise much better than cheaper plasmas for client monitoring... I use a 23" CD for my own ref monitor with an MXO in the mix. Can't afford a CRT HD around here... and it works great for grading as long as you keep an eye on the scopes. The CD just doesn't display black... it's sort of dark dark gray.
That said, the eCinema displays are nice... but pricey.

Easy Question: Monitoring DV through HD

Ok, so I have the opposite problem of most of the posts. Currently I'm monitoring HD though the Panasonic HD1400 deck. This works fine with the right easy setup. The problem is now trying to view DV projects. Doesn't work. I only get a still frame.
I assume this is because FCP would need to, but can't, uprez the DV on the fly to get it through the HD deck (or it THINKS it needs to).
Any way around this?

No, you can't have two firewire video sources on the same bus operating at the same time - but you could introduce a switch but, you have this zippy deck and want to get to work. I understand.
According to the specs, the deck should be able to ingest DV and output SD 480i to a SD/HD monitor, so, start with simple stuff. In FCP, is the output stream set to All Frames?
If so, in the interest of isolating the problem, does FCP play the DV stream out to firewire without issues using another conversion system?

PI - monitoring queues through Mobile apps

Dear Team,
Currently we are on PI 7.3 version and client has come up with the expectation of exploring the possibility of PI queue monitoring through Mobile apps.
We are going to upgrade our system to 7.4 in couple of month so any solution for ver 7.3 or 7.4 would work for us.
I have searched sdn links but don't find convincing solution. Any suggestions/Inputs ?

I tried that in the past and it looks great. Only limitation if I'm not mistaken: no installation on iPhone possible. Perhaps now it is possible. That one you need to check.

Publis a monitoring camera through TMG 2010

Hi, I have a monitoring IP-camera inside my LAN what I want to publish through TMG 2010 to access from outside. The camera has a build in webserver running (currently) on port 80. Insuide the LAN (no restrictions) everybody who has a login to the cam can
watch. So the cam is working pretty well. Now I created a web publishing rule in TMG 2010 for the Cam but it seems not to be enough. I easily can connect to the log-on screen of the cam, I can log in, but than I get an empty (black) picture(Cam healthy light
on the screen is yellow instead of green, means the video is not working)! No stream is visible. The cam should not use any other (additional) ports, I checked that by using wireshark. What can be the problem that TMG blocks the stream?

Monitor Unrecognized Through DisplayPort, OK Through HDMI w/ R9 270X

I just upgraded from Sapphire AMD R7 260X to Sapphire R9 270X and am having issues with the DisplayPort. I get the wrong resolutions and unknown monitor only when connecting through DP, but everything works fine through HDMI. I am using an ASUS PB278Q 27" monitor at 1440p. The DP worked fine on the R7 260X. I was able to manually add my resultion using this xrandr guide but of course this does not persist through reboot, is quite annoying, and should not be necessary. Does this sound like a hardware bug to anyone? Should I be contacting Sapphire?

This is still a problem with the 3.19 kernel in testing as of today.

So today I tried the 4.0-rc6 kernel using the linux-git pack in the AUR repository. I can now use my DisplayPort! However, `get-edid` still throws errors and my display is 'unknown' to Cinnamon.
Update: It's not always reliable. Sometimes I reboot and it's back to it's old tricks

- For SAP monitoring (User,Process,Trace, Dump, etc) you can use the same transaction for any S.O. (SM21, ST22, SM51, etc)

Monitoring FCP through a LG HD Monitor

Hi All.
My company recently replaced our old SD broadcast monitor with a LG HD TV monitor. To save money we ordered it from Best Buy. We also started shooting and editing with P2 footage. After the footage is logged and transferred and in the project. I would set up using the NTSC DV sequence setting. This worked. I could see the footage during playback on the monitor. I was recently asked to create files using the 4:3 ratio. Well, I've run into a problem of the sequence not playing back on the monitor. Can anyone help?
FYI
My computer is hooked up to my DSR-11 deck via firewire. Audio goes to external speakers and video output goes to the LG monitor.

So you are viewing SD DV on this big HD monitor? You shot HD, but are editing in a DV timeline and viewing on an HD monitor?

Monitoring CCM through SNMP

Hello All.
I am developing small application to retrieve information like ActivePhones. InActivePhones and etc from CCM using SNMP. It works fine for CCM v6. But in some cases(for example for CCM V3.3,V4.3) I got snmp errorâ No Such Name" during collecting date from phone detail table.
I think it related with different version of CISCO-CCM-MIB for different CCM?

CCMS: Monitoring data through RFC or Agent?

Hi,
I have a question of understanding:
When I open a monitor on my CEN system (ta RZ20), it starts collecting data from the remote systems.
To do this, the CEN system uses a RFC connection, which has an account and a password from the remote system.
From time to time I have the situation, that this account has been expired.
Then, when opening the monitor in RZ20, I get a Login dialog for that system. I always skip this dialog.
When the monitor finally shows up, in some cases the MTE of the system with the expired account shows up and in some other cases the MTE does not show.
How can the CEN collect monitoring information of the remote system, even if the account that it has to use is locked out? I have systems, where that account has been locked out for several weeks ...(Is the agent sapccm4x used instead?)

thanks a lot for your helpful answer!
I did not know that CEN first calls the sapccm4x agent and only in case of inactivity it uses the RFC based data collection method.
I never could find that info anywhere in the SAP help.
From time to time I have the following situations with a system, who's built-in RFC account has been locked out:
When I open the monitor in RZ20, the login account shows up. I cancel and finally the monitor comes up and the data of this system is included!!
That could be something like a timeout effect: after a certain number of seconds, CEN tries to get data over the RFC in addition to still trying the agent ... and then the agents finally answers and delivers the MTE data (the RFC cannot authenticate and therefore will never deliver anything ... )
