Monitoring Opportunity Follow Up Performance

We are just launching CRM On Demand. We've been told by our IT team that CRM On Demand does not have "out of the box" functionality to report on opportunity follow up performance. Specifically, we have set targets for opportunity follow up in business days, (e.g. an opportunity with a rating of "A" needs to be followed up within one business day.)
We need to factor in weekends into our calculations to get accurate data on performance against targets, so simply using the 24 hour clock doesn't help.
Is there a way to get this without customization?

Hi
I have also simillar requirement of customer.

Can you send me the document on [email protected]
Thanks in advance.

  • How/What can we monitor in DB02 for performance testing?

We are conducting a performance test/load before golive of HCM in SAP.
I am looking at DB02 but have NO idea of what to monitor for? there is so MUCH
Any suggestions, would certainly be appreciated asap
    Thank you so much!
    maria

Well, rather than trying to explain in the forum, I suggest you download the document "The SAP DBA Cockpit for Microsoft SQL Server" from:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/1062428c-f1df-2910-b08f-c322feddcd10?quicklink=index&overridelayout=true
This will explain everything you need to know about DB02 transaction for MS SQL server. You can read through it find out what all monitoring can be done.
You can check the following Areas:
    Performance (ST04)
    Space (DB02)
Configuration = Some ST04 detail screens plus new ones
Diagnostics = Some ST04 and DB02 detail screens plus new ones
Frankly, Space and performance are the main areas.
Refer to the guide and this should solve all your doubts.

  • Monitor weblogic cluster server performance

I am using "System Monitor" got from http://dev2dev.bea.com/utilitiestools/monitoring.html to monitor my weblogic server performance. For single server, it is working well.
However I can't use it to monitor the cluster server performance. For example:
server 1 and server 2 have clustered weblogic server - APPS listerning on port 8888. On server 1, I have admin server running on server 1 - ADMIN_SVR1 listerning on port 232.
I can dump the admin server Mbean information as:
$java com.iternum.jmx.monitor.SystemMonitor -url t3://localhost:232 -user admin -password xxxxx -mBeanType ExecuteQueueRuntime -of performance.txt
However I can't dump the cluster server performance data as following:
$java com.iternum.jmx.monitor.SystemMonitor -url t3://localhost:8888 -user admin -password xxxxxx -mBeanType ExecuteQueueRuntime -of performance.txt
Did I make any mistake? Do you have better tool to monitor weblogic performance?
    Thanks in advance,

  • Monitor and record server performance

    Hi all.
This is not really Arch related but a general question. I have a web server that has services crashing. I think it may be due to low mem. Is there any software or some method that would allow me to monitor/log server stats/performance and then see a graph over time.
My hope is to be able to see if services fail due to mem outages, or some other reason. I would also like to know better what my peak times are.
    Any suggestions are greatly welcome.
    Thanks alls for your input

What is the best way to uninstall and reinstall the Focusrite MIDI interface driver. And to uninstall and reinstall the Subtlesoft Midipipe (which is required to get the correct mapping for a Yamaha drumkit)? This was done for me at the Apple Store One On One session in a prior attempt to fix this problem but obviously it did not work. I'd like to try it one more time with the drumkit connected. I did see a screen at one point which allowed me to select the inputs from the Focusrite but I could never find it again. I don't think it was a Garageband menu but somewhere else, maybe during the driver or software install for the Focusrite. I would love to get back to that screen again and take a hard look at it.

  • Question regarding Opportunity follow up creation from C4C into ERP

    Hi All,
We have an integration scenario for C4C-ERP where we have the requirement of creating a Follow up Sales Order document from an Opportunity and get relevant Sales document information back in C4C. We have used the below Communication arrangement in C4C:
"Opportunity with Follow Up Business Transaction document in External System. "
Below HCI IFlow configured/Deployed in Eclipse:
    "COD2ERP_OpportunityFollowUp_Replicate"
    "ERP2COD_Opportunity_Replicate".
Relevant certificates/services all set in ERP.
Currently this standard IFLOW just allows to automatically create an Inquiry (Order request) document in ERP . Doesn't create the Sales Order. Based on our requirement ,we have extended the BAPI (custom development) in ERP to automatically create the Sales order from the Inquiry document.  Wanted to understand if there is any standard process( HCI IFlow/Comm scenario) which allows the same as of today or SAP is working to get a standard solution in near future for the same.
    Thanks,
    Suvankar

    Hi Suvankar
You are correct, we only create an inquiry.  Currently we don't have a backlog item to directly create an order.    Let us know if you see many customers who would want to have the sales rep do the request and it goes directly to the order.  Many companies do not want the sales rep to create the order.  There are other scenarios, like in Cloud for Service, where a mashup is used to directly create the ECC order from Cloud for Service.
Your BADI is the best solution for this, assuming they always want to directly go to the sales order.
    All the best

  • How to monitor Opportunity Processing

    Hi all,
I have created Opprtunity & assigned different phases in Sales Cycle.
When Opportunity processing thru different phases like quoatation, order or close, how i can maintained record of it.
Do i need to create a new opportunity or transaction after every phase change?
    Thanks,
    Sush

The SAP help information is the following:
    Presentation of the Sales Cycle
    Use
The sales cycle of a product or service begins when an opportunity for sales is recognized. This can arise by chance, for example, if a sales employee finds out about a worthwhile investment project during a conversation.
The process ends with a sales order or a rejection from the customer. In the meantime, various sales activities, such as sending information material, customer visits, product presentations, quotations and contractual negotiations, take place. An opportunity goes through a sales cycle which is divided into various phases. Specific sales activities are carried out in these phases.
    Prerequisites
You can define sales cycles and the relevant phases in a sales cycle in Customizing, to suit the needs of your enterprise. By doing so, you can define a sales cycle for starting business with new customers with phases, such as the first contact made with the customer, the sending of brochures and information, presentations, quotations etc, and a sales cycle for long-standing customers with other phases.
You can find information about setting sales cycles and phases for Opportunity Management in the implementation guide for CRM under Customer Relationship Management ® Transactions ® Settings for Opportunities.
    Dear Sush,
you do not need to create a new opportunity or transaction after every phase change.
First of all definition of the sales cycle and phases is used for reporting purposes.
Managers want to see during what stage an opportunity is lost or won. Furthermore you define actions and assign them for example to a phase.
Next you can activate an action for a certain phase.
    Let's take an example:
You are in the standard phase SM1:Identify Opportunity.
For this phase you could define an action 'Call Purchase Responsible Customer'
    or 'Visit Customer'.
For the action 'visit customer' you define an action (where the system automatically creates a business activity 'visit' (is copy of standard transaction type 0001-Sales Call). As activity partner or responsible person you define the 'employee responsible of your company' for the customer (sold-to-party) entered in your opportunity. This is based on relationships.
Now after you have defined your sales cycle, phases and assigned your phases to your sales cycle, and you also have defined your action profile (see standard example for action profile OPPORTUNITY_SALES_ASSISTANT which is assigned to standard transaction type OPSM), you can activate for the combinatino of sales cycle you are in and the selected phase on your details screen of the opportunity, a certain action as explained above.
Hope this info helps. Please don't forget to assing points.
    cheers

  • Does 2+ monitors cause a significant performance decrease?

    Howdy.
I was thinking about getting a second and larger 27" monitor to use primarily for working, while bumping my current 20" to the side and using it to watch movies while I work (which is what I currently do but it kind of hogs up a bit of my work area as I have dvd player in the corner of the screen).
I was just curious as to how much of a performance impact you will get when running a second and larger monitor. On my 20" I typically get around 11-15 fps doing 3d work, so with another monitor being used for video playback will I get a bad performance hit?
My current card is a 7300GT with a first gen Mac Pro.
    Thanks for your time.

    Thanks for your reply.
It's a Dell 2707WFP so I'm sure it would work just fine, as I have a 2007WFP right now.
    http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/products/Monitors/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=e n&s=dhs&cs=19&sku=222-7315
All I would be doing really if I got the new monitor would be using the large one for work and using the smaller one purely for video watching. At night I would use the large one for watching movies when relaxing.
I'm definately hoping that the 8800 GTs (or better) will be available for Mac Pro's v1 but in the meantime I would think that a single 7300 would do the job. As you said it should run a 30" and a 20".
    Thank you for your help.

  • How to monitor CPU usage and performance on a Hyper-V server with several VM's

I have a server that is running Windows 2008 64 bit Hyper-V, with 8 gigs of RAM and Intel Xeon X3440 @ 2.53 Ghz, which gives me 8 logical cores in the performance monitor on the host system.
I have set up three Virtual Machines, all running Windows 2008 32 bit.
    Build server, running Team City
    Staging server
SQL Server, running SQL Server 2005
I have some troubles with the setup in that the host monitor remains responsive at all times, even though the VM's are seemingly working at 100% cpu and are very sluggish and unresponsive. (I have asked a separate question about that.)
So the question here is: What is the best way to monitor how the physical CPU's are actually utilized? The reason I am asking is that I am being told that i cannot reliably use the task manager to monitor CPU usage in a VM.

First, you have to remember that in Hyper-V that the "host" is called a parent partition and it really just like a virtualized guest with special permissions and roles. Just like any other child/guest, when you open up Task Manager, you can not see the CPU
usage of the other children on the server.
Ben Armstrong has a good explanation of this here:http://blogs.msdn.com/virtual_pc_guy/archive/2008/02/28/hyper-v-virtual-machine-cpu-usage-and-task-manager.aspx
To summarize his post, you need to check three things to get an accurate picture of CPU utilization:
View the CPU usage on each guest - this is available through Hyper-V Manager or Performance Monitor.
CPU usage due to context switching - this is the perfmon counter called % Hypervisor Run Timeunder Hyper-V Hypervisor Virtual Processor
Child partition worker process - vmwp.exe running on the parent partition (1 per child). This handles Hyper-V operations like saving
    state.

  • Monitor dynamic and arbitrary performance instances with single monitor?

I need to monitor a performance object in such a way that each *instance* within that object is monitored and alerted separately with regards to thresholds. So, for example, if I have a performance object called App1, and that object has five instances (Instance1...Instance5),
I want to be able to monitor each instance separately with regards to thresholds.
The issue is that the instances are dynamic and arbitrary. They are created and deleted on the fly by a different application, and I will have no advance warning of them being created or deleted.
I'm running SCOM 2012 R2. It seems that SCOM performance monitors are missing a checkbox that says something like 'Treat each instance separately' or I'm missing how to achieve that functionality.
For reference, I'm moderately handy with VSAE if this can be hacked together that way. Note that the rate of change of these instances is relatively low, such that a daily discovery would be sufficient if that would somehow assist in enabling this functionality.
However, what I don't want to do is to have to create a separate monitor for each instance - is this possible?

It can be done only with alert rules.

  • How to monitor a VIP's performance?

Could I get any advice regards how to get the statistics of a VIP performed and how to monitor it?
    Any comments will be appreciation.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Gilles,
How much is too much? :-)
We are monitoring parameters like flows/second and active local connections but I have been looking at parameters telling us how far we can go before seeing performance decrease.
We are terminating SSL on the CSS and if about 800 SSL sessions per seconds per SSL module is the limit, what would be a good parameter to watch?
I couldn't find anything in the MIBS that tell us how many SSL sessions/sec are served.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)
    Thanks,

  • Will a Dual Monitor config. affect system performance?

I have an ATI Mac SE card installed [256 megs] in my dual G5 with 4 gigs of system ram.
Will a second monitor on the card affect system performance in any way?
    thanks.
    -ptfigg.

    Paul,
How I distribute things depends on the size and relationship of the monitors.
One of the great things about FCP is you can save a great number of custom setups so, just play around and SAVE each set up. You can always delete ones that don't do it for you later.
    cheers

Not much recently from the Point. Is there more in the pipeline?

  • When on my secondary monitor, firefox will not perform any action that opens a new window (View page source, show all bookmarks, etc).

I'm using Mac OSX with Firefox 5, but also had this problem with Firefox 4.
I use an external monitor as my primary monitor and my laptop monitor as a secondary. When the window is on the secondary monitor, I can't open new windows to do things such as view source and manage bookmarks.
Any solutions or workarounds would be greatly appreciated.

Both Firefox and IE have the same problem. The cursor instead of being a finger when pointing to a link is still an arrow. However I can click anywhere on the page and an ad will pop up. I have eliminated all unwanted bars in Firefox, I ran Malwarebytes until it came out clean. I also have AVG which had detected a few items on it's own. But when I get into Firefox I still have exactly the same problem. Now it will not let me download Browser Safeguard. Usually after one click the pointer returns to normal for a few screens. When I try to click to download Browser Safeguard it keeps bringing up different ads or it tries to get me to upgrade Firefox or some other browser helper program which I know are all BS tactics to get me to load their junk again. PLease help I'm an engineer and pretty good with PCs but this one has me beat at least so far.

  • Monitor/trace per transaction performance stats

Is it possible to trace stats like cpu time and num of IOs for each committed transaction and log them one row per transaction? Thanks, Stan

Yes it is possible through statspack which give you all other performance related information. But it is also very resource consuming job. so be carefull while using it.

  • BW system performance monitoring query

    Hello SAP BW Experts,
I have a requirement in my project to set up a query to monitor the BW system performance which satisfies the below points.
    1. query should have a fixed, defined content which is not changing over the time (e.g. a fixed list of customers for a long closed month). This query should
be executed once every hour (and therefore should be reasonable small).
    2. the run-time of this query should be recorded and the results written back to the technical content.
    3. setup a query which is reading and reporting this technical content.
Please let me know if this is something to do with the reports on technical content cubes and which on which cube this requirement can be met.
    Thanks in anticipation.
    BR,
    Mohan

    Hello,
Yes the Query run time data will be automatically captured in cube. No there is no need to add any process type after creating any new query because it is a global data collector. It doesnt depend on specific query and provider.
You can also check further documentation on the providers mentioned on net. It willl help you to understand better. PLease check following document:
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/50f95b21-7fb8-2910-0c81-f6935d4c654b?overridelayout=true
Some part of above document wil help you understand the working. Overall document is about BW administration cockpit. But you can make use according to your requirement.
    Thank You.
