Monitoring Progress of Loading an Application
How do I Monitor progress of loading an application made in Java itself using Progressbar or ProgressMonitor?
Hello Bharat,
I think programming the ProgressBar is not the main problem, but having it
displayed as soon as possible after launching the application. I at least
have no idea how to guess/calculate the loading time. But to have an indeterminated ProgessBar quickly showing would already be nice.

I am running OS X Yosemite on my four year old MacBook Pro which has become progressively slower and is loaded with applications I no longer use. I plan to start afresh by formatting a new 1TB SSD as a boot disk and reinstalling Lightroom 5 and PhotoShop CC.
Is there a list of the files and/or folders that contain Settings and Preferences which can be copied from the old system to the new?with your cc apps you should try to use the sync feature. that's never worked consistently for me, but when it does work, it's helpful.
there are preference folders and presets and settings that you could copy but you're better off installing fresh because a common problem for people with adobe program issues is a settings issue. -
my mac air died, after i reinstall from dvd drive, when i boot up again, i saw a prohibit sign showing up on the screen, then get to my logon screen. After logon, it takes very long time to load any application. pls help
OK. If you believe that.
When the disk is starting to die it can be bad for a moment and then be good for a while. If there was no problem while you were checking it of course it shows up good.
I tell you those are the signs of a disk that is about to die.

Can't Load HFM Application from Workspace
We are running Financial Management 11.1.1.2.
I have an overseas user that suddenly cannot load our HFM application in workspace.
She was previously able to do this without issue. She can log into workspace ok. When she clicks on the application, the Icon just spins and it never loads.
She has tried on multiple machines from her location. No other user in this location has the issue, and other users can log into HFM from her machine.
If she logs into our Citrix server (local to HFM Servers) she is able to load the application.
Since she is able to login locally and not over the WAN I would think it was a network issue but other users in her location have no issues.
Any ideas or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

After creating a form, when I click on Preview PDF, I am now getting an error message "Failed to load an application resource (internal error)". Not sure why this has started recently, but it makes it impossible to check my forms for clients before I send them. I can open them outside of the program in Adobe Reader, but it is faster to check the form within LiveCycle and change them if necessary. Please help!
I fixed mine! In Reader 9 and 10.0 I had disabled the ReadOutLoud feature as it kept popping up whenever it felt like it, and I don't need ReadOutLoud. What worked for me was first to purge the system of Reader 9 - the uninstall routine leaves stuff behind. Then I went into the Reader 10 program folder, located the plug_ins sub folder, and renamed it to oldplug_ins. Then I ran the repair routine which recreated the plug_ins subfoler.. All now works, except that the <expletive deleted> ReadOutLoud is up to its old tricks again, but I can live with that for now.
Hope this helps. -
There was a problem loading the application
I find that I can log into iCloud with no problem but after, that every time I try to open an app I get the message
"there was a problem loading the application"
I'm using Safari 7.0.5
This has been going on for quite some time and during that period I've read many threads and followed various trouble shooting guides but I can't solve it. I really would appreciate any suggestions that you might care to offer.Downloading Safari 5.1.7 will work, or at least that's how I now access iCloud and run the Apps. IE9 64-bit will also work. On my system it appears that IE9 32-bit has a problem with iCloud due to Norton Internet Security. When Norton's "Browser Protection" is disabled, IE9 32-bit works for me.
With Safari, I set its Homepage to iCloud so I'd have a direct link to the iCloud website. -

I cannot get iTunes to load -- "Apple Application Support was not found". I have tried multiple things to fix it and nothing works including re-installing.
Try b noir's post Standalone Apple Application Support install to see if that can repair the problem or provide futher information, otherwise try reinstalling again as shown in Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.

Hi Everyone,
We have SCCM 2012 installed and configured. More than 2000+ computers have been installed SCCM client and manageable by SCCM server.
The inventory (Desktop Monitor) was not loaded in the client resource explorer (For some clients it got inventoried). Is there are possibilities that the Max file size might get exceeded the actual limit for the hardware inventory
which has to be increased in the registry?
Please provide us a solution.
Thanks in advance,
Iniyan GSee dataldr.log on the site server. It would show .mif files that exceeded the file size. InventoryAgent.logon the client might also help.

Progress Bar / Loading bar in LiveCycle forms
Hello All ,

UJI Progress bar / Loader woes
Hi. I'm new here. Only a beginner with Flash really, been
using for a few months. I only have Flash 8 due to finances, but I
use CS3 at work.
I have built my own preloaders/progress bars in the past but
decided to have a go with the UI progress bar / Loader for quick
setup purposes.
Strange things afoot - works when published with "simulate
download" in Flash, works locally in browsers (quickly, obviously)
- but when I upload it to a server, Firefox is fine, but IE (6
& 7) it WAS working properly earlier, but when revisiting site,
progress bar hangs at 0%, then fails to disappear when main film is
loaded in. I have noticed this recurring problem with this
component over the last couple of days.
Perhaps I ought to just stick to writing manual ones, but
this one seemed like a very quick way of doing it - if the client
is satisfied with a generic, albeit slightly styled one.
Any ideas? Is it the styling causing it in some way? I have
fontFamily, fontSize, themeColor. Both load instantly for me after the first load, check if it
is also doing this for you, if not than i am completely lost, i
cant see how a change in URL could possibly change the
flash. -
Hi,
I keep getting this error message when trying to Preview PDF in program "Failed to load an application resource (internal error)". I haven't changed anything in LiveCycle, so not sure why this is happening. Have had this issue for the past few months. I've been working around it, but it's kind of a pain. Would prefer to view forms in program. Suggestions to fix this?
Thank you!

Process for Flat file delta load from Application server to transactional??
I want to do a flat file extraction in delta loads from application server and that should be loaded into a transactional cubes scheduling a process chain.
Can any one help with ABAP code and step by step process for this?
Thank you
DeviHi Devi,
As per your explaination, you want to load a list of files from application server using process chain.
You can do this with below steps.
1) Create a Event and call event to run Process chain multiple times.
2) Put all filenames in a file say, source-File
3) Write a rooting to read filename from Source-File and trigger InfoPackage
4) At the end of the process chain create new customized program which will delete first line from Source-File so that it will take next file in next run as well as delete currently loaded file. Once this is done trigger event again to start process chain again.
