  • Automate the Idoc monitoring process

    Hi,
As we do not use Solution Manager to monitor Idocs in R/3 system, we need to develop the customized report which will send a mail alert with the Idoc status on daily basis.  Please suggest various effective approaches to develop this scenario.
    Thanks.
Moderator message: please do some own research before asking.
Edited by: Thomas Zloch on Feb 21, 2011 2:02 PM

There are some standard reports which are already available. I could find a report RSEIDOCA, this sends mail based on the workflow. Please check if this is useful or it can be extended to meet your requirement.

  • CONF21 Inbound Idoc - How to Monitor the Error

I have just set up the idoc conf21 - and everything works perfectly well (I ticked "immediate update" via CI41 in order to avoid using CIP2).
I have simulated an error in the ILE01 unit of measurement I putted 'XXX'.
I launched the idoc via we19 and the idoc appears in status 53 green. ( This is normal because the status 53 represents only the fact that function module KK2A_GET_DATA_FROM_IDOC has runned without errors. It does not report errors possibly occuring in PROCESS_CC2_MESSAGES_PARALLEL.)
Obviously due to the 'XXX' the confirmation did not happen. The record disappeared from the table RUECK.
Question : How can I monitor this type of error ?
    Thanks
    Philippe

    Go to CO16
reprocess - change the *** in unit of measurement to H
back - the line shoulb be green now
    save
and up this is it !

  • IP Job in BW finished, but how can I check the IDoc receive status in BW ?

    Hi,experts
After I execute a Infopackage with loading more than 200000 records data, the infopackage monitor show me yellow light, 186020 from 200000 records. this infomation still show me till now, seaval hours,it looks pause here.
And I check the request in the R/3, the Job has finished. as you know it means the R/3 push the IDoc already finished.
and how can I do now ? or how can I check the IDoc receive status in BW side?

    Hi,
I too had the same problem, i executed the following to solve the proble, may be this will help you:
    1) Go to T-code SM58 and select TRFC and press F6,
    2) For manual push of I-Docs, GO to T-COde BD87 select perticular idoc and see the status if it is not executed properly then do the manual push by pressing Execute option,
    Thanks,

  • View the Idocs in Source System

    Hello
I have triggered a ino package load to BI. Now the job is just hanging and is not bringing in any data. Please can someone tell me where can i view these idocs in the source system.
    Thanks

    Hi
IDocs at Source system --BD87 / WE19/WE20/WE30/WE02  are the Tcodes for IDOCs
Till42 Outbound Idocs after 50 Inbound Status Idocs.
You can even see the Idocs at Info Package -- Monitoring -- Environment - Idocs at Source system.
Check your RFC at SM58/SM59 -- If the Queue Stuck -- Execute LUWs Manually.
When the IDOCs are Taking time to process it is always better to Make the yellow request to Red and Delte the Request and Go for Repeat .
    Hope it helps

  • BPM Monitoring of IDOCs

    Hello all,
I have a scenario with 100 IDOCs and I map the IDOCs in ccBPM. But if somehow a mapping process for one of the IDOCs in ccBPM goes wrong you get an error (a red flag) for all of the other 99 IDOCs.
My question is then how can we monitor which and why the IDOC went wrong without opening all of the IDOCs?
    I have tried SXMB_MONI --> Process --> PE --> Technical details
But I havent found my solution.
    Has anyone any suggestion?
    Kind Regards,
    Kamran Vakili

I checked this, It's not a solution when error's occur in the transformation step (mapping).
I have the same problem. I guess there is no solution for monitoring BPM when messages go wrong.
Anyone an idea? The only error you get from BPM when transformations goes wrong is:
    com/sap/xi/tf/_mm_IDOC_Orders05_naar_Orderbestand~
    com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeExceptionRu
    ntimeException in Message-Mapping transformatio~
    Regards,
    Luc
    Found the solution:
Go to technical details -> scroll down to bottom -> double click on “show container” -> Double click on TRACE -> Double click on Value under Object Type (in my cause CL) -> Now you see what went wrong in the message and which message went wrong.

  • Searching Message ID in XI using the IDOC number produced in S1P

    Hi Everyone,
I'm a sap XI newbee and i have a  question.
The scenario is like this, We have a message ID (PO) that passes thru XI from a 3PLP(3rd party system) which eventually produces an IDOC when it reaches S1P(R/3).
    Message flow:  3PLP - XI - S1P.
So in S1P(R/3)'s perspective, the IDOC is INBOUND and its supposed to display the message ID from XI in the DETAILS TAB (tCode:WE02) unfortunately  it did not.
So how would I be able to find the message ID in XI using the IDOC produced in S1P.
I hope you get my point.
PS: tcode IDX5 wont work since the IDOC was only produced as soon as it reaches S1P(R/3).
    Thank you so much,
    XI Monitor

You have to search for the IDOC from IDX5 in your XI system...
Also please check the following OSS note : Note 1083694 - IDoc adapter: IDX5 and IDoc tracking
No object relationship is written in step 2.
No object relationship is displayed in the IDoc monitor (transaction WE02) in the receiver system.
Note that object relationships are written for logical systems only (partner type = "LS").
For more information, see Note 428344.
In transaction WENOLINKS, check whether the administrator has deactivated the object relationships.
If everything is maintained, you should see the Sender idoc number(PI) in BD87...
One of the roundabout ways till you fix the issues is to get the timestamp when IDOC was created and go to SXMB_MONI or IDX5 in PI for that timestamp to get the message id

  • Monitoring receiver idoc communication channel

    Hi All
I have an idoc to idoc scenario.
I am unable to see my receiving idoc communication channel in communication channel monitoring of RWB. It is not available in the dropdown list.
I want to have a look at the audit log to see if the idoc is delivered to the receiving system.
How can i monitor receiver idoc communication channel?
How can i ensure that the idoc is delivered to the receiving system?
In sxmb_moni, status is checkered flag.
    Many Thanks
    Chandra Sekhar

    Hi,
IDOC is on ABAP stack hence u can not monitor IDOC.
    For testing purpose
    1) GO to SXMB_MONI check the status of message.
    2) Go to R3 and enter Tcode WE02 and check the IDOC which is send from XI. enter the idoc name and see the status of IDOC it should be in green status if it is posted successful or else see the status record for checking the error message.

  • Monitoring of IDOC

    Hello all,
I try tu have a good monitoring of IDOC.
To be clear, I will explain the problem.
We use the IDOC HRMD_ABA for the replication sap HR towards an other system CRM.
Sometimes we have some IDOC not in error but not fully posted status 52 (via transaction BD87).
The problem is : the message is not fully clear I don't know on which segment I got the error. I would like to add more information to the message, I look on customer function but I found no appropriate function => I told me why not to copy the function module [IDOC_INPUT_HRMD] for the IDOC's post into a [ZIDOC_INPUT_HRMD] function module and to manage better the message error but it looks a heavy work.
Anybody has a better idea to realise that ?
I try also to read the table EDIDS and EDID4 but the information was not helpfull.
Thank you very much in advance, Gene.

    Hi Genevieve,
Yes there is a better (and much easier) way.
Go to the customer exit 002 for this specific function.
    Function module = EXIT_SAPLRHA0_002.
Inside you will find: INCLUDE ZXHALU06 .
Double click on ZXHALU06 (and if it does not exist, create it by answering Yes on the create dialog).
Then simply use your coding to investigate the results and/or extend the message.
This customer exit is meant for monitoring workflow functions for this IDoc handler.
However, to copy IDOC_INPUT_HRMD to your own ZIDOC_INPUT_HRMD and extend this is not so very much work. You only need to find out with which partner the communication occurs (e.q. EDIDC-SNDPRN field).
Find this partner in transaction WE20. Indise the transaction find the message in the inbound parameters.
Double-click the partner and go to the Process code field.
Double-click the process code field and you will see that with the identification the function module IDOC_INPUT_HRMD is given.
Press the button behind the identification field and remember all fields from that screen.
Once you have copied to ZIDOC_INPUT_HRMD you can replace the identification with your function module and fill in the related fields (that you did remember).
Hope this gives you a good start.
    Regards,
    Rob.

" Error when updating Idocs in Source System

          pls help me in this...
    With regards,
    Yokesh.

    Hi Yokesh,
Try these to solve your issue,
tRFC Error - status running Yellow for long time (Transact RFC will be enabled in Status tab in RSMO).
Step 1: Goto Details, Status get the IDoc number, and go to BD87 in R/3,place the cursor in the RED IDoc entroes in tRFC
queue thats under outbound processing and click on display the IDOC which is on the menu bar.
Step 2: In the next screen click on Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call)
place the cursor on the particular Transaction ID and go to EDIT in the menu bar --> press 'Execute LUW'
(Display tRFC calls (will take you to SM58 particular TRFC call) ---> select the TrasnID ---> EDIT ---> Execute LUW)
Rather than going to SM58 and executing LUW directly it is safer to go through BD87 giving the IDOC name as it will take you
to the particular TRFC request for that Idoc.
    OR
Go into the JOB Overview of the Load there you should be able to find the Data Package ID.
(For this in RSMO Screen> Environment> there is a option for Job overview.)
This Data Package TID is Transaction ID in SM58.
    OR
SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute. It will show you all the pending TRFC with
    Transaction ID.
In the Status Text column you can see two status
    Transation Recorded and Transaction Executing
Don't disturb, if the status is second one Transaction Executing. If the status is first one (Transation Recorded) manually
    execute the "Execute LUWs"
    OR
Directly go to SM58 > Give * / user name or background (Aleremote) user name and execute. It will show TRFCs to be executed
for that user. Find the particular TRFC (SM37 > Req name > TID from data packet with sysfail).select the TrasnID (SM58) --->
    EDIT ---> Execute LUW
    OR
In RSMO, select the particular load you want to monitor.
In the menu bar, Environment >>> Transact. RFC >>> Select whichever is required, BW or Source System.
In the next screen you can select the Execute button and the IDOCS will be displayed.
    Hope it helps

    Arun.M.D
