Monitoring tone too loud.

Hi
How can I lower the volume of the tone played to an agent that alert him that he is being monitored by a supervisor? The tone plays every few seconds and is too loud almost overcoming the conversation.
We are using Call Manager based silent monitoring and the agent and supervisor are using Finesse.
Thanks in advance
Victor

Hi Victor,
Seems like Monitoring notification tone is enabled on service paramaters as mentioned below,
Tone volume could not be reduced whereas you can disable the monitoring notification tone to be played out by setting the below mentioned options as false,
Play Monitoring Notification Tone to Observed Target- False
Play Monitoring Notification Tone to Observed Connected Parties- False
Hope this helps.
Thanks,

  • Cannot adjust sound without it being too loud

    Hello.
I've basically had this problem since I upgraded to Windows Vista, and now it's starting to frustrate me quite a bit since going down the 64x bit route...
I cannot figure out how to get my volumes back to a normal state. When I was on Windows XP, I could have my main volume at about 75, and it would not be too quiet or too loud, but since the ugprade, the speakers are set to 4, and everything has to be jacked down otherwise it is far too loud.
The sound card is an Audigy 2 ZS.
This is what my volume mixer panel looks like.

I have the same problem on my 2011 Macbook Pro.
I've been using my computer with my lid closed and on external speakers and monitor and bluetooth devices for days on end and I haven't found a solution.
Has anyone out there found a solution yet?
This was the only place I found so far with the same exact issue I have.
I've had some virus trauma in my life, so my mind naturally goes to "VIRUS!" after any little strange thing happens. I'm pretty much imploding at the moment, so, if you guys have anything, let me know.

  • Apple TV too loud

Basically, the output of Apple TV is that I have to set it on TV to either volume=1 (out of 100), which is too quiet, or volume=2, which is too high.
TV works find on regular channels, so the output of Apple TV is too loud.
Any chance to get it lower?

I assume you've used a 3-phono to 3-phono audio/video lead (yellow/red/white - composite, R&L audio lead) instead of a dedicated RGB component lead to connect the RGB component connectors to your TV. If it works and you're happy with it fine, but don't be surprised if some here criticize you for not having the correct impedance leads and so forth
Whilst the connectors may be red, green and blue in colour, the tv doesn't use an RGB signal it uses Y,Pb,Pr, however if what you are saying is that the OP might simply have used composite leads to connect the component ports on the tv to component ports on the tv, I can't see it making any difference. There may or may not be a difference in quality of picture because of the composite leads, but the leads connecting the L&R audio ports are still connected by the correct audio cable and the audio should work as expected.
I suspect your problem may be that the audio inputs on your TV simply monitor/relay the line level input audio via the TV speakers,
That could well be true but why would a tv do this.
Meantime I wonder if the OP could clarify their set up.
GEE where did all those posts come from, I was answering the third one.

  • X3-02 wake up alarm too loud!

Wake up alarm is too loud, I want to change it, is there such option in the menu?
I searched but could not find it from the menu. Sound is unreasonably loud.
Is there perhaps some other Nokia software that fits this model and has alarm volume changes?

try using a softer tone the volume in profile wont help with alarm.

  • Siri too loud with headphones in

I have the volume on siri turned way up so I can hear her well enough in most rooms. but when I plug in my headphones, it is so loud it's painful. I thought the volume for things like this was supposed to immediately adjust to be lower when headphones are plugged in?
note: keyboard clicks and the lock noise also seem too loud too, but that doesn't bother me. ring tones are quiet enough with the headphones in.

Adjust the volume with headphones plugged in to what is a comfortable level for you.  This does not affect the volume level without headphones plugged in.

  • Fam too loud

Since two days ago my mac pro make a lot of noise. The fans are going too loud, like airplane take off.
I need help i´m worry about it.
    Thanks

That Apple technote says there is no SMC-RST button which is a real shame as it would make life easier. I don't think a minute can really bleed or reset an SMC. Overnight may or may not.
On older G4 MDD and G5, to bleed any juice, not only unplug, but remove RAM and battery, reset the PMU/SMU and try booting with it unplugged would revive a system that would not boot when nothing worked.
You could try the "command option PR" routine to zap pram/nvram through multiple reboots from cold start too.
I shutdown at night, and turn off the UPS so there isn't any juice going in to anything. But I don't think that resets the system. And when I had a problem the only way to clear it was on older Mac Pro to use SMC_RST.
What I would do though, is boost the fans to run @ 800-850 rpm (one fan won't get boosted though) using SMCFANCONTROL 2.1.2 which can be downloaded off
    http://www.macupdate.com
The other thing is to monitor temps. iStatPro, Hardware Monitor are good, and make sure the room isn't getting warm (I have to turn down heat in winter as room heats up with the Mac on, and cool it more like now, as it tends to add 4ºF ).
The fans are suppose to respond to thermal sensors and nvram settings. It tends to wait too long to respond to changes. Also, sometimes a plist that governs power management can cause problems. Most drastic route: Archive Install or reinstall (maybe to another drive either internal or FW).
When you look at fan speed, insure that it is not graphics. I assume you are talking about 1500+ rpm (1000 is only barely audible). So good to run Hardware Monitor to help diagnose what is happening.
Also, if you have not, boot from your OEM DVD with 'd' and run Apple Hardware Test. Click on Extended, and command + L for looping. That was the first time I heard fans run full bore (2500 rpm?) and scared me not knowing what was happening.
Someone thought they saw a SMC button behind the top Riser in 2008, but that was never confirmed, and their photo showing it was pulled down. Shame.
Also, make sure your power cable is okay and plugged in - I put wrong cable on once and it auto booted and fans ran wild.
Otherwise, it should be looked at by Apple.

  • Software simulation clicks too loud

In a software simulation - I find the click sounds too loud - anyone have any idea on how to lower the volume of them? Can this be done after the video has been created?

The problem exists when I publish the project as well.  When I checked the raw slide the problem is starting there.  I have attached a picture of the raw slide.  It is as if Captivate 7 does not recognise the dimensions of my screen.  I had thought that it might be because my screen resolution is set to landscape mode but I did try changing the monitor to the old style narrower monitors and it made no difference

  • X6 wake-up alarm sound getting way too loud

    Hi.
First post here, and think last 'cause I haven't found any annoyances besides this.
Using X6 as an alarm clock for everyday wake up call.
The alarm sound just keeps getting too loud that it comes an annoyance in a few seconds (I tend to keep X6 next to me on a bedside table).
Have searched from the phone, but is it so that the Clock alarm "Ringing type" can not be changed as one can change the Incoming call ringing type in Profiles-section (possibilities are here: Ringing, Ascending, Ring once, Beep once, Silent)?
Seems so that those two mentioned aren't even connected to each other, so that if I set Incoming call ringing type as Ringing, still to no avail, because this doesn't affect Clock alarm in any ways (and Clock alarms in Ascending-type).
    Any advice on this?
(And could someone tell me, why this has been designed as is now?)
    Cheers

wow people normally complain its to low
the volume for an alarm tone is standard it cant be altered the only thing possible is to select another tone thats not high pitched
you can change the alarm tone by going to clock icon then open this and go to settings here you can change the tone

  • Vibration alert is too loud

Hi, I sent my iPhone 4 to apple service for warranty-reasons and got an new exchanged iphone back in return. But now the vibration alert is way too loud. It is even louder than the ring tone. Unfortunately the 90 day warranty is over and it hasn't bothered me at first but now it is really annoying. I compared it to other iphone 4 phones and the vibration on mine is the loudest. Is there any chance of getting it fixed for free, since I think it is a production failure?

If the test fails, your phone is defective and will need to be repaired to regain the vibrate function again.
    Cheers.

  • ITunes 10 upgrade makes airtunes volume too loud even at minimum setting

I just updated to iTunes 10 this morning and love the interface and most of what is has to offer. I have, however, encountered an issue with the volume when streaming my music through Airtunes (or Airplay now) and my Airport Express to external speakers. I have an Express set up in my son's room and hooked up to a pair of computer speakers via a stero-mini to stereo-mini. Before the update the volume adjustment worked fine but after updating to iTunes 10 even the minimum volume is too loud for the white noise we put on to help him sleep. If you have ever had a fussy infant you understand that this is a HUGE problem. I've read the forums and come up with nothing. I know that I can manually change the master volume of the sleep sounds (get info on specific track and change master volume) but that's a ridiculous work-around. I've resorted to using Airfoil (an excellent program by the way) because I can't get Airplay to work right. All of the setting are there for it to be a real hit (individual volume settings for each set of external speakers - I have 2 airport express units) but they just DON'T WORK. What a shame that after an update I have to resort to a 3rd party program. I hope Apple hears this and updates very soon or the folks at Airfoil are going to be getting a lot of business very soon. Next post is at Engadget and Mashable
cool. please let me know if you've found a setting that I don't know about.
    thx.

iTunes 10 allows each AirTunes (AirPlay) zone to have a separate volume. Try selecting "Multiple Speakers" in the "AirPlay" tab and adjust the volume from there. Also make sure the "Preferences" settings are set to allow for remote volume to be set.

  • The display on my monitor is too large (can't fit the whole screen on my monitor) even though I have the correct resolution.  Suggestions?

The display on my monitor is too large (can't fit the whole screen on my monitor) even though the resolution is correct.  Suggestions?

Sounds like it may just be enlarged. Have you tried holding down the <ctrl> key and moving the mouse up and down, or scrolling your finger up and down if you have a magic pad.

  • Nokia 2700 handsfree kit volume too loud

my car (2007 bmw with fitted in bluetooth handsfree kit) connects fine with the new 2700 nokia i bought, however people keep telling me that they can hear me too loud over the phone, while in the car the volume is ok. I didn't have this problem with my previous nokia model, or with the one my son has, 5310 Xpress Music. The problem is that i can change the volume settings in the car, only the speaker volume that is,and the phone, once connected, doesnt allow any change of volume settings.
it is just the microphone volume, so not the speaker volume, and that i don't have this problem with other nokia models...
    Yours sincerely,
    Nicolas

As always, as this is a place where people will often/likely come when they have an issue of some sort you can't really measure whether or not something is structural or 'general occuring' by posts here. No one would deny that you may have an issue, but if it were as widespread as you seem to think it would be all over the media which is isn't.
I'd have the phone checked at the retailer or a Nokia Care Point.
