Monodevelop 2 dosn't load
I installed monodevelop from community, and it installed fine, but now when I try and run it. The splash screen comes up but then nothing happens. It uses 100% of my cpu and eats up all my ram, but nothing is displayed in the console, and the splash screen stays loading at 0%. I've tried looking at the debug output but didn't see anything helpful. Any ideas on what could be wrong?

Try `man monodevelop` (or whatever the manpage is called) and see if there's a -v, --verbose, or equivalent flag.
Yup, maybe it is dangerous but sometimes apps are giving more errors under root than on normal user. Maybe some chmod's are missing or whatever? I am not sure but it happens to me sometimes.

In case one of your extensions is involved, could you test the links and your email in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

Hi I have been having this problem for quite some time now, it happened out of the blue and can be annoying. When in Mac OS X mail and I select an message the content loads a a simple text message I think have to select load best alternative from the menu to view images and the content of the email. Anyone know what it could be? Thanks Gautam

It could very well be that something went awry as a result of installing the latest update, not because of the update itself, but rather because there was already something amiss on your system (in which case installing the update can only make things worse), or because the update wasn't installed properly. Read the following articles for guidelines on how to properly install system updates:

Basically, you should verify/repair the boot volume (not just permissions) before installing the update and no applications should be running while installing it.
If you suspect your problems could be related to the latest Security Update, I'd suggest to properly reinstall it, or even reinstalling the latest Combo Update followed by the Security Update (assuming the version of the Combo Update is newer than the version of Mac OS X that came with your computer):

Angrybirds friends tournament dosn't load all other game load perfactly ..
I went to play the weekly tournament but all I got was a white screen with facebook ad banners top and bottom. I have googled this and so far I have tried Updating flash, shockwave, java. I tried clearing cookies and cache, Uninstalling firefox and reinstalling, tried with my antivirus off, tried uninstalling my antivirus, tried updating graphics drivers.I've tried several other games on facebook but this is the only one that wont load.
Does this only happen with the beta version?

When trying to follow an answer I saw in safari discussions I could not locate any folders starting with user library. I would appreceiate any help I can get.

If you don't already have another User Account - it's simple to create one:
Open System Preferences (if you can't find this, look in the Applications Folder)
Click on Accounts
Click the Padlock icon at the lower left & enter an Admin Password
Now click the + button just above the padlock
Enter a name for the new account - like "Test"
You can leave the password field blank if you wish
Leave the "allow user to administer this computer" box UN-Checked
Click "Create Account"
Now you have another Account to test Safari in -
Log Out from your normal Account via the Apple menu at top-left of your screen
Log in to the Test Account that you created
Does the problem still show up in the Test Account ?
Regarding the DNS numbers - Open System Preferences ( either from he blue Apple menu at top left of your screen, or from your Applications folder)
Click the Network icon, then click the TCP/IP tab
In the DNS servers box - enter 4.2.2.1 then press enter; then on the next line, enter 4.2.2.2 then click "apply now"
These are US dns servers which have worked well for many people, so it's worth a go. -
I have an eMac G4 running OSX 10.4. It all started when I couldn't open .dmg files. I would double click the file and nothing would happen. The computer was also acting a little strange, for example it would be slow at times with the color wheel spinning, thinking. So I tried to fix the problem by restarting the computer and repairing permissions but that didn't work. So then a second attempt to fix it, I restarted the computer and booted up in open firmware by pressing command-option-O-F I then proceeded to type reset-nvram then pressed enter and then typed reset-all. I read somewhere that this is suppossed to fix problems with your computer. Well, it didn't work, I logged in and then tried to open the dmg. files and it just wouldn't open. This is where it gets even uglier...
I restarted the computer one more time and when I turn the computer on it beeps for a few seconds and then the light flashes and automatically brings me to the open firmware screen. So I type mac-boot and the grey dots spin around in a circle and I get past that stage but now I get to the screen that says Starting Mac OSX and it loads all the way and freezes and dosn't load the login screen so I can't even login to my computer. I try to fix this by powering off and booting up off my Tiger CD and opening disk utilities and repairing the disk but it says no reapairs needed hard drive is ok. I then repair permissions and restart. Nothing works. I desparatly need help! I hope I do not have to do a erase and install OSX if it is even possible at this stage. Me tungsten t3 was not working so I reset it. Now the light has turned off, and will not turn back on. I have tried all of the resets and the only one that works is the cradle reset and even then only the light turns on the device dosn't load up. Please help me!
Post relates to: Tungsten T3Plug in the T3 to the AC power supply. Let it charge at least 12 hours. Leave the AC power supply plugged into the T3 and then press the reset button many times in a row. See if it will power on. If it doesn't power on, then the T3 will need to be repaired.

I have Apple TV for more than a year and it was working fine until two days ago. It had wired internet. it couldn't access to iTuens stor. I changed it to wireless and worked fine for just two houres and then problem came back but with diffrent face. It dosn't load movie or TV show and it says "ready to play in ..." very long time (like 3 houres and 55 minutes!). I even reset all settings, but no change. I live in Czech Republic.

Unable to load Java classes from byte arrays.
I have an application started through JWS. It works fine except for one problem. The application allows the user to load an external class, typically received over a socket. These are not (and cannot) be signed. My application complains about not being able to load these when starting through JWS. When starting the application locally (i.e., run the jar file using 'java -jar APP.jar') it works fine.
I guess I have to grant som additional permissions in my policy-file. But since these classes are user-defined, there is no way for me to define a static codebase. `
Any ideas?Java Web Start installs a SecurityManager, and after that is responsible for assigning permission collections to any code loaded by the JNLPCLassLoader.
If you have all-permissions for your jnlp loaded code, then use another ClassLoader to load some other code, That other class loader will assign the permissions to that code. If that ClassLoader dosn't extend SecureClassLoader, the code will get only the default permissions.
You can fix this by
1.) Use a ClassLoader that extends SecureClassLoader, and override getPermissions(), or
2.) just call System.setSecurityManager(null), from the trusted code loaded by the JNLPCLassLoader.

How to load file with 500M into noncontiguous memory and visit them
My data file consist of a serial of 2d images. Each image is 174*130*2 butes and the total images in the file is up to 11000, which takes almost 500M bytes. I hope to load them into memory in one turn since I need to visit either image many times in random order during the data processing. When I load them into one big 3d array, the error of "out of memory" happended frequenctly.
First I tried to use QUEUE to load big chunk of data into noncontiguous memory. Queue structure is a good way to load and unload data into noncontiguous memory. But it dosn't fit here since I may need to visit any of the all the images at anytime. And it is not pratical if I dequeue one image and enqueue it into the opposite end, since the image visited may be not in sequential order.
Another choice is to put the whole file into multiple small arrays. In my case, I may load the data file into 11000 small 2d arrays and each array holds the data of one image. But I don't know how to visit these 2d array and I didn't get any cues in the posters here.
Any suggestion?

1. I've never used IMAQ, but I suspect that it offers more efficient methods than stuff I dream up in standard LabVIEW. Of course, maybe you don't use it either -- just sayin'...
2. Since you can't make a contiguous 11000-image 3D array, and don't know how to manage 11000 individual 2D arrays, how about a compromise? Like, say, 11 3D arrays holding 1000 images each? Then you just need ~50 MB chunks of contiguous memory.
3. I'm picturing a partially hardcoded solution in which there are a bunch of cloned "functional globals" which each hold 1000 images of data. This kind of thing can be done using (A) Reentrant vi's or (B) Template vi's. You may need to use VI Server to instantiate them at run-time.
4. Then I'd build an "Action Engine" wrapper around that whole bunch of stuff. It'd have an input for image #, for example, image # 6789. From there it would do a quotient & remainder with 1000 to split 6789 into a quotient of 6 and remainder of 789. Then the wrapper would access function global #6 and address image # 789 from it.
5. Specific details and trade offs depend a lot on the nature of your data processing. My assumption was that you'd primarily need random access to images 1 or 2 at a time.
I hope to learn some better ideas from other posters...

P.S. Maybe I can be one of those "other posters" -- I just had another idea that should be much simpler. Create a typedef custom control out of a cluster which contains a 2D image array. Now make an 11000 element array of these clusters. If I recall correctly, LabVIEW will allocate 11000 pointers. The clusters that they point to will *not* need to be contiguous one after the other. Now you can retrieve an image by indexing into the array of 11000 clusters and simply unbundling the 2D image data from the cluster element. -

i want to load a data through sql loader but the problem is, data file contains some numeric values and after each numeric value there is sign character,
for example
position 1 to 9 = 12345678- (in case of negative)
or
position 1 to 9 = 12345678% (% represents blank space in case of positive)
is there any way to load this numeric value into one field, where the sign follow the numeric value?

Safari cannot open the page because it could not load any data
I had a odd thing happen with Safari today I get a "Safari cannot open the page because it could not load any data" msg when going to a saved site with a book mark but I can get the page to load by going to google. It dosn't happen for the same site every time Mosty Fanfiction.net. Happens on Nework and on cellular. Sites work on my Ipad but not my Iphone 6
