habe mir vor längerer zeit monster beats kopfhörer gekauft...sogenante wirelees die über bluetooth laufen....das hat mit meinem iphone 4 auch bisher wunderbar funkioniert...jetzt hab ich das iphone 5 und es findet uber bluetooth meine kopfhörer nicht mehr......wer kann mir helfen...

I actually picked up a pair of the Sony Extra Bass headphones. VERY comfortable even on the 4 hour drive I did last night and the sound quality is quite simply amazing for the price. I actually have them on right now

Problem with Ipod Touch 8gb and Monster Beats Solo HD

Apple Ipod o guys , i bought an Ipod Touch there in this january , and 2 weeks later , when i got back to Brazil , my cousin did me the favor to crack my screen pretty good . So now , im wondering ,what can i do to fix it ,because the Apple Support here said that they would only give me a discount to buy a new one ( and its a REALLY cheap discount ) , and if i choose to fix it from a unauthorized apple store , it would cost something like 300 dollars or so . ( Thats even more than i paid for the entire thing ) . So , as you can see , my country cant actually help me out on this one . Do you guys have any advice for what i could do ?
P.S. : I paid like 20 bucks for a special kind of insurance . Not sure if it would do me any good now .
Monster Beats : So ...as a lot of people , i think the headphones are great . But i really thing they are "popped " ( not sure whats the english term tho ) , i can still hear music and stuff but sometimes some kind of noise ( very annoying btw ) starts to come out , mostly when in low pitch notes ( again , not sure whats the english term lol ) like in hip hop songs and stuff .. Is there anything i can do for this one too ?

I was disappointed to read about the problem with your iPod! If you have Geek Squad Black Tie Protection, Geek Squad can offer you service for the iPod, but it will need to be brought to a Best Buy store. Knowing that you're in Brazil, I realize that complicates matters.

If you don't know the answer to this question, you really have no business spending that kind of money on headphones until you educate yourself.
Have you noticed that everyone who recommends Beats is under the age of 25 and has never listened to any of these brands? (AKG, Sennheiser, Beyerdynamic, Audio-Technica) Beats, Bose and Skullcandy headphones are ALL just over marketed and mediocre. You can get BETTER headphones for much less. Read this: bit.ly/BeatsDre

3 days ago I was listening music on my Iphone 4S with my monster beats when, all of the sudden, left side of my headsets stopped working well. In fact, it was still working but sound was 3 times lower than on the otherside. I 've tried them on other iphones and on mp3, radio, etc. but it was still lower on the left side. I thought it was because my headset were old so I took my other headset (Senheiser HD438, barely used) but after 2 days the same problem affected my Senheiser .
I wonder what could be the cause and what should I do ...

You could take the iPhone to an Apple store genius bar, explain this behavior, and have the techs test the headphone outlet to see if both channels are balanced or one is getting too much power.

Apple Store Item: Not in stock in my country but it is somewhere else?

Hey, I've been after a limited edition Apple Store item however it seems to be out of stock / discontinued in the UK. When I try to click on the Google link to it it can't find the page. The Australian Apple Store will not ship to the UK. But that's not an Apple product; the Apple Store is just a reseller like any other, so the product may be available from other dealers.Try contacting Monster and ask if they still distribute that headset in the UK. Otherwise, you'll just have to search UK dealers and hope someone still has stock.

Cleaning saved my Sawtooth!

Long time no visit, my bad...
I have an original G4 450 AGP graphics "Sawtooth" which I have upgraded with a PCI SATA card and drive, new video card and a FastMac CPU upgrade. I've always been slightly disappointed with the upgrade results. Lately, it had gotten unstable.
I should note that my definition of "unstable" is anything one iota less than bullet proof...
What I hadn't noticed (because it was happening so gradually) was that the noise was getting worse. Fortunately a geek friend dropped by and said "buddy, that thing is LOUD and those fans should not be screaming like that." Also, OS 10.4.11 was the end of the line for these machines and I needed to move up to some new software, like CS3.
Fortunately, thanks to Rehabilitation Services, I got a Mac Pro. (AKA "the Beast" This monster beats up PeeSeas,steals their lunch money and gives them wedgies.)
But I wasn't willing to give up on the old bomber. Besides I needed a machine for the kids.
We live in an EXTREMELY dusty house. We are surrounded by row crop agriculture and the local farmers haven't got the memo as far as "con-till" practices. At this time of year on dry windy days, it's like Arabia. Plus I have kids, a dog and a hamster.
Of course, I have tried to clean the G4 before. But this time, it was "do or die".
I took it out onto the front porch with two vacuum cleaners. As Bart Simpson would say "How can you blow AND suck at the same time?" I put one on "exhaust" and blew into the Mac and left one on "suck" to capture the results.
Yes, I know: static. But it was a humid day and I was desperate. I knew if I didn't do something, it was doomed.
There are four fans in this unit: one for the video card, one for the CPU, one for the power supply and the BIG one for the Mac itself. I DID NOT mess with the power supply fan except that I pulled the sled that holds the Zip drive and the CD/DVD drive which gave me room to blow in one end and suck out the other, simultaneously. WHich removed GOBS of dust. 100%? No, but lots.
I discovered that the Mac fan was screwed onto a sheet metal shroud or baffle held in place by two (somewhat hard to reach) screws. I CAREFULLY removed the two screws and wiggled and jiggled the baffle unto I figured out how it came out. I then removed the four screws that hold the fan in place.
I should have taken pictures.
*It was DIS-GUSTING*. The openings in the baffle directly behind the large fan were completely obstructed (sort of like my coronary arteries...) The fan itself was a mess. The gunk on it was nasty- like greasy dust bunnies. Eww....
After much vacuuming and cleaning, reassembly was actually pretty easy. I have a solvent that I prefer which happens to be 99% alcohol. Yes, it's toxic and flammable. But it evaporates fast and out on the front porch the fumes aren't an issue. YMMV USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!
(My 11 year old son and I also did a Zip drive transplant from our old B&W G3.)
And now?
I would guess that the noise is reduced by about 80% and it is back to running like a champ.
I love the ease of the "suitcase" design, but until I turned it upside down and took it apart, I never really grasped the airflow pattern to these things and what it takes to REALLY clean one.
Total process was about an hour and a half or more of fairly hard work (including the Zip transplant operation, mind you.)
*WELL WORTH IT!*
I bet a LOT of machines could be saved this way.

Last year I cleaned out my Sawtooth and put a new fan in the PSU while I was at it. That's a long way in there and I didn't want to go back anytime soon. My Sawtooth's innards were not quite as dusty as you described yours ;0) ...

Unlesss someone has had physical access to your phone, it has not been hacked.
More likely your email account has been compromised on your PC or through your webmail.
Clicking noises and dropping calls are not related to email hacking.

New iPad crashing when apps moved around screen?

When I move apps around screens on 3rd gen ipad it crashes and goes back to startup screen with apple in center. Please help

I have the same problem here. My experience is:
1. iPad 2 (3G 64GB) is turned on
2. Everything works, Spotify, other apps, etc.
3. Put my headset (in-ear + mic) into the iPad. The headset is Monster Powerbeats, in-ear.
4. iPad freezes
5. If I take out the headset, it stops to freeze.
6. If I put in e.g. Koss headphones (without mic), the iPad does not freeze. Neither does it with a Sennheizer in-ear headset with mic.
7. Tried to do a hard reset (holding down power button and home button).
7.1. iPad restarts
7.2. Apple symbol comes up, wheel spinning endless. Restarts by itself, and 7.2. starts over by it self.
7.3. If I take out the headset (Monster Powerbeats), iPad immediately starts as normal.
8. The Monster Powerbeats in-ear with mic work on my iPhone 4 without crashing / freezing........!?
To sum up: For me this seems to be headset specific. Even though the Monster Beats work with my iPhone 4, they doesn't work without a hazzle. Several times I find the buttons on the mic to not work, despite sound comming out from the in-ear plugs. I also some times have to take them in and out of the iPhone 4 to get them to work with the iPhone. Volume control seldom works though on my Monster Powerbeats anymore.
Seems like the iPad is extremly sensitive to headsets that are not 100% prestine.
Hope this helps some, but not the least Apple to do their part of the job making this work to the extent it is possible, despite the headset manufacturers not doing theirs making mure rugged headsets. Seemingly the iPhone 4 is accepting bigger "errors" than the iPad 2 at least.

Is the non-apple item sold in the apple store 100% original?

i was wondering if the non apple items sold in the apple online store are a hundred percent original like the monster beats by dre.
just curious because of the huge price difference of about 200 sgd..

Do you pay 6.99 for insurance because that includes extended warranty? I would get the 16gig 4s personally but I understand where ur coming from. Now they have them and there not in the iconic list so u could bill to account if u can pay it by the end of the next bill. U could use the $99 towards the phone or when u get the charge on the bill pay it then. Just another idea.

Bluetooth Headset- Driver fails to install

Hi Everyone,
I am hoping someone could help out here... I have a Macbook pro purchased last year in August 2011 running Windows 32bit. I recently purchased some monster beats wireless bluetooth headphones. They work well with my other computer- a dell as well as my iphone. However, my mac is having some issues.
I am able to see my headphones. After seeing the headphones, Windows tries to install the drivers. It is unable to locate them and fails. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

I must admit I am running out ways to get around this. The only other things I have seen block this kind of install are below:
1. Do not use a USB Hub.
2. Do you have any MP3 Player software installed for another MTP device?
3. Do you have any camera software for connecting a camera that may also operate in MTP mode?
4. The last option would be to test on another PC if possible to rule out the phone/cable as the problem.
What are your thoughts about this forum? Let us know by doing this short survey.

WRT60n v3 wired headphone interference !!??

I just purchased a pair of monster beats Studio's by Dr. Dre. Note that these are WIRED headphones. I also point out that I purchased them at the apple store (authorized dealer) and that prior to finding that the router was the problem, I exchanged them 3 times because I thought that it was the headphones that were the problem.
I hear a flickering / buzzing noise constantly in the left ear. When I disconect the router, it slowly dissapear untill after 10 seconds, I don't hear anything anymore. I plug the router back in, and boom, interference!!
I also tested with cable and without on the headphones, and even with no jack attached, it still makes that noise. I suspect that the noise cancelling software/hardware inside the earpiece is capting some of the 2.4 ghtz frequency...
I tryed changing to every channel (1 to 11), and can still hear the noise.
I also called monster, but have not heard from them yet, and I was the first person to ever call for this matter.
I also updated the firmware to the latest version, and still makes the sound.
Can ANYONE help me on this!!!???

Login to the router setup page and click on the Wireless tab and below click on the sub tab "Wireless MAC Filter" and then change the Beacon Interval to 75,Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304,Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 and Click on Save Settings...
Now check and see if you hear the same buzzing noise from the headphone.

Any support or warranty remaining on that lost phone is useless without having the actual phone.

I have a suggestion for apple about iPads

I think that apple should team up with monster beats by dre to come out with the first ever I pad beats. Many of us are looking for a quality sound In iPad by adding this to the iPad we would be able to hear better quality music and watch movies with HD sound. Hope you take time and consider it.

How can I replace the band on a broken Beats Mixr

I bought my Beats headphones awhile ago. It even has the Monster logo on it. So today, I noticed that the band at the top has snapped in half and is being held together by nothing more than the leather material. I really love these headphones and I'm not expecting them to replace the entire thing. But I at least want to replace the band. How can I do that? Like I said, I bought these awhile ago. So I'm sure it wont be free but it's better than buying brand new ones.
