Month in date field on notes and Mail is garbled

When i bring up notes, the month in the date field on the top right is garbled.
It appears to have the correct number of characters for the month, but the characters
are strange characters.
How do I get the month to appear correctly?

iCloud does not host/sync email from external providers such as Gmail, Yahoo, etc. It only provides iCloud email.
If your notes don't appear on icloud.com, open the Notes app, tap Accounts, then be sure you are creating the notes in the iCloud account. Notes created in other accounts (On My iPhone, Gmail, etc.) will not sync with iCloud. If you want to get these notes in iCloud, you'll have to copy/paste the text of each one into new notes created in the iCloud account.

It is mandatory to give the org unit to which the position is being associated with.
Give the org unit and try saving it.

Custom field in 'Notes and Attachment" tab of shopping cart

Hi All,
I am working in SRM 7.0 classic scenario and i have requirement in which i need to add custom field in 'Notes and Attachment" tab of the shopping cart portal.
I have added those fields in structure --- INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF and INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_SC.
Also implemented the BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI in while i am populating the custom field value.
I have created custom field as INPUT FIELD in webdynpro component /SAPSRM/WDC_DODC_NA and view : V_DODC_MAIN_VIEW.
Now I can see the custom field value in table BBP_PDISC, but i am not getting the value in Shopping cart "Notes and Attachments" tab.( I am able to see the field but not the value of it).
The value is getting populated in ITEM DATA tab instead.
Please suggest if i am missing anything in the process and how to achieve this.

Hi,
You have done everything.. well.. except that you did not set the attribute of the input field to this value.
When you have value u just need to bind it using set_attribute method of the element.
Use ctr+f7 to generate the wizard .. select in set mode.. click on context and select the attribute that you have created in the context.

Visio 2010 - Shape Data Fields Are Not Saving

I am having a problem with a number of shape data fields which are not saving data that has been entered into it, whether by entering it through the "shape data" or "define shape data" dialog boxes, or by editing the "shape
sheet".
All data fields appear to save normally while file is open, it remains as entered. However, when file is closed and later reopened select data fields do not retaining data correctly. Some retain nothing (null), or revert back to a "default"
value, see below for a couple examples:
Rack Units: Want to enter data as 1U, 2U, etc. ... in some cases it will save it as entered while in other cases it reverts to "1 RU", "2U", etc.
Room: Enter the data as I want it stored, most of the time it appears to come back empty, there are some shapes which will retain as entered.
Comments: Fails to retain any data
I have looked at a number of reasons to explain why, whether the problems occur with stencils is supplied by Microsoft, a vendor, or were custom created. Looked into whether it might have to do with a particular vendor's stencils/drawings
but I have a number of Cisco drawings where some save those fields as entered while others do not. I believe it could be a setting within the stencil preventing it from saving the data as entered, enabled in some cases and not in others.
I have checked "Protection" under the "Developer" tab, but nothing appears to be set to prevent editing/storing data entered.
Is there some setting(s) or field(s) somewhere that I can look at to allow this data to be saved as entered?
Is there a GLOBAL setting that can be set once within a file?

It's theoretically possible to do this (e.g. each field has an action
of removing read-only on the next). It's considered extremely bad form
design, because people don't always fill in fields in the order
specified. If you watch people with a form they fill in their name,
address, other easy stuff; then they go back for the harder stuff.
They may want to save a form because one piece of information needs
research.
What you might like to consider is a large splash "FORM INCOMPLETE" in
Red or whatever, which vanishes when all the fields are completed.

F-90. asset value date field is not displayed

Dear all
In asset acquisition posting through F-90. asset value date field is not displayed at the time of entering acquisition. It is in supress mode. so system is capturing the capitalisation date. But we can see this capitalisation date as asset value date in fb03 display. Now i want to display this field as optional field while creating the entry and also i want to change the field in display mode to change mode. kindly tell me the menu path to access the settings.

Hi,
You can enter a diff asset value date for your acq posting, only thru transaction ABSO using TType 100.
This will resolve your issue.

ICloud security for Notes and Mail

I have a macbook pro, ipad and phone. I am trying to figure out if I should put my Notes and Mail data on iCloud to facilitate data between my devices. However, I see that Notes and Mail data is not encrypted on server. How secure is it?

Source: MS SQL Server
Date Data Type: smalldatetime
Date field Format: yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss --> example: 2009-11-13 00:00:00
XI Mapping: Source Date --> Transformation --> Target Date
Transformation: yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm:ss to yyyyMMdd
Target: R/3 System
Date Data Type: ERDAT from VBAK table - Date on Which Record Was Created
Date field Format: Date field (YYYYMMDD) stored as char(8)
Check points:
1. Mapping is working fine in XI and transformation is done with the test data: 2009-11-13 00:00:00 --> to ---> 20091113
2. In SXMB_MONI the data is processed from the source and the IDoc XML data is generated. In the IDoc XML data the date field is containing the value <DATE>20091113</DATE>
3. But when I tried to open the IDoc(SE05) in R/3 the date field is empty and no data is generated.
Request you to let me know why the error is happening.

Hi Ram,
First try to test the same IDOC generated in ECC Box by populating date field value using WE19 and test .
Or
Instead of passing date value from SQL Server, Just give a try with Current Date function in Mapping and test in ECC system.
then we can think on further analysis.

The date field does not appear on my form

On my saved form, the date fields do not reveal the calendar icon to select a date like it does on the test form. The date field is instead a free text field. Can somebody explain what happened to the date field?

Restore the backup that you made when you last synced your phone to iTunes on your computer. Alternatively, if you enabled iCloud backup on the phone, you can restore from the latest iCloud backup by going to Settings/General/Reset - Erase all content and settings.

New DSO data fields are not available for transformations in the upwardflow

Hello,
There are data flow from
many source DSOs -> Target DSO -> Final DSO.
Different transformations are defined and activated with DTPs. This works fine and provides the desired results.
now new fields are added to the target DSO, final DSO and one of the source DSO.
When I now try to edit the transformations, the new fields are not part of the sources at the different stage.
The fields are available in the Data Source created out of a DSO but not directly when using a DSO as a data source.
Have anyone faced such a problem?
any solutions to this?
- I cannot delete all the other transformations as this is too much work to do and there is no time for it.

We created ZMD_BS_MAT_OVP_LAYOUT. But the situation has not changed - the fields are not available for edit.

Date field positions vertically and overlaps other report items

I have a date field on my reports and they are positioned on the right of the report canvas where they have enough cusion space. Somehow they[label and the date itself] are coming appearing on multiple lines..one below the other instead of appearing in a single line. My settings are:
Vertical Alignment:Fixed
Horizontal Alignment:Fixed
Base Printing:Enclosing
Keep with anchoring object:No
The field displays whatever fits on 8 units on the grid and then moves the remaining data on next line. My reports are not character mode.

I think I need to expound on my message.
I am actually upgrading from Oracle reports 6i to oracle reports 9i. The date field prints successfully on one line in the margin for the oracle 6i reports. HOwever there is some wrapping for the oracle 9i reports. What i have noticed is that when I place the date field anywhere within the range 0 - 8 units on the paper layout grid in the margin, the date prints successfully. Otherwise it wraps. I have no such problem in Oracle 6i.

Can't fill in a date field in matrix and UDO

I have created 2 usertables (docuemnt and documentlines) and I created an UDO of it and create a user def form.
In the documentline table (data in the matrix), there are 2 date fields. I fill the dates in de dbdatasource of the matrix but in the database it remain a null value.
following code line seems not to work
oDBPIT_AUTSTOCK_DET_1.SetValue("U_DOCDATE", Row, docdate)
After this line:
oDBPIT_AUTSTOCK_DET_1.GetValue("U_DOCDATE", Row)
returns an empty string.
I did several tries: Let the docdate as DATE, or as string, even
sboBOB.Format_DateToString
seems not to work.
How can I solve this problem, Has anyone a clue?

Please note that the TableName.txt file should include all fields and not only (code, name and your user fields) as described in the document.
The fields should be separated with tab.
In the data lines you donu2019t need to put values in all the fields.

To partition on a date field or not to , that is the question !

We have a table with a date field. One of our dba's has recommend that we partition the table with a new partition for each day.
I dont agree because the date in this field is constantly being updated by an application. So presumabley when this date field is updated the row will then move from one partition to another.
Surely this is not a good idea !!

Well, it depends if the row continuously moves from one partition to another. It that's the case you have to take in account the overhead induced by indexes: they must also be updated accordingly. You can also consider widenning the partition range, from one day to one week, or one month!
Depending on the volume of data it can be tricky to decide what you want to do. The first point in making up your mind is: do you have performance problems? If yes, then you can study it. If no, then just let the table be as it is.

we are upgrading from 4.6 to ecc 6.0,the problem is *one from in 4.6 working fine but after upgradation to 6.o in that from in the address window date field value is not printing.in debugging mode i have checked value is coming properly but in the sppol..the date value is not displying.*can you please suggest on this.is required any changes or need to somting?
