Month view from pc

published ical. when someone views from a pc - it defaults to week view - I want it to default to month view. preferences on my mac are set to monthly view. on pc it has option to set preferences but when you try to set to monthly it only throws you to apple ical website?
thanks

The only way that I can think of to do that with the built in calendar app is to take a screenshot of the month view - which is saved to the camera roll or saved album in the iPad - and then email it as a photo from within the photos app. It's not ideal, but it will work.
Press the sleep button and the home button together - quickly - and then let go of the buttons to take a screenshot. You will hear a shutter sound and the screen will flash white. Look in the photos app and find the photos of the screen and email it from there.

  • Change Calendar month view from six weeks to four weeks

Hi - this may not be be possible, but I thought I'd ask the community.
I prefer working with the Calendar in month view. Mavericks always dispays six weeks in month view, while Mountian Lion would display four, five, or six weeks, depending on the month. On my Macbook Pro 13", the new six week view creates days that are too small to work with.
Is there any hidden preference that could make it display just four weeks at a time, rather than six?
    Thanks.
    Steve

Thanks for the wild and crazy ideas.
I did remove any events that span midnight and it did not help.
I looked at the DbFixit program. Since it corrects problems in the Palm and not in Palm Desktop I believe it is not relevant. The reason I belive the palm device is not involved is because of the following test:
I removed all previous Palm Desktop versions
I removed all registery entries for both Palm, PalmOne, and the USB (as specified by a chat session with Palm)
    I removed all data directories including \Program Files\PalmOne, \Program Files\Palm, and \Palm
I removed all instances of data in the Documents directory
I did a cold boot of the computer
    then...
I did a fresh install of Palm Desktop
I typed in a year's worth of data
I did not sync or otherwise connect a palm to the system
    I selected month view
    The system crashed!
I believe this takes the Palm device completely out of the loop. This problem occurs when typing data in Palm Desktop from the keyboard.
I appreciate any ideas, and will follow up on them.
    Thanks again
    Jack Cornelius
Since no Palm was involved, the corruption must have occured in the Palm Desktop program itself.

  • I need the ability to email an entire month view from my calender

I need to be able to use a calendar and then be able to send it to my boss by viewing a month at a time...

  • I was able to print my month view from ical, but no longer is "month" an option. I can only see list and day. Please advise!

Just curious...about two weeks ago I was able to print my ical calendar in month view. For some reason, "month view" is no longer an option in print mode. The only two options I have are day or list. Not sure how to print in month view now or retreive that back. Please advise : )

Be sure Safari does not have the Block Pop-Up Windows preference set.
Where I work now there are several unencrypted VLANs that require authentication, and Safari promptly pops up a window for me to register every time.

  • Can I change the Lion iCal Monthly View "New Event" from All Day?" Default?

I have tried all the posted suggestions to change the iCal "new event" preferably in Monthly View from the default of "All Day" but to no avail. This is a current issue so old terminal changes do not seem to work. Anyone have the same issue?

I also have an issue  with not being able to change  "end times". Four instance if I schedule an event at 9:00 AM iCal defaults to 10:00 AM. I'll click the end time to change it to 4:00 PM  and the time will not change. It defaults back to the same start time or one hour later. I can get the drop down list to appear, but the options are not enough to schedule anything over 3 hours.
Nor can  change the "add day" default.
I appreciate any advice/assistance you guys have.
    Thanks!

  • Calendar in month view has no data until the page is swiped

For the past couple of months, when I first open Calendar and it is in month view from a previous use, none of my entries show up. The phases of the moon and birthdays are all that will show. This only affects the month view.
If I then swipe to another month then back, the information will show up again. Once I have done that, the calendar is good until the next day and it does it again.
I do not completely shut off the iPad at night, but just charge it, but put it to sleep until the next morning.
The iPad is running the most recent software updates.

    HI Raymond,
I am able to solve that issue.
My problem was that I was using two separate beans for the initial data table and the second data table which gets populated after we click on the initial datatable.
After using the same bean for these two datatables solved the issue.
Now I am able to view both the datatables on the same jsp.
Thank you very much forthe prompt reply. I really appreciate that.

  • Calendar in Month view

When my calendar is in month view, how can I get it to read Sunday-Saturday? Right now it reads Monday-Sunday. On my computer in outlook it reads Sunday-Saturday. PLEASE HELP..

I had the same problem but when searching through the forum, I found the following. Would have never thought to look here but it worked.
To change the iPhone Calendar to show Sunday as the first day of the week (far left in month view) - from the Home screen:
    1. tap "Settings"
    2. tap "General"
    3. tap "International"
    4. tap "Region Format"
    5. select "United States"

  • Cannot select a Date in the 2nd week of any month from "Month View"

Looking for some help with a strange problem that has started within the last day or 2. In Calendar, under the Month view, it will not allow me to select a date in the current week (or the second Week dates in ANY Month for that matter i.e. 6-8-08 thru 6-14-08, 8-3-08 thru 8-9-08, 4-6-08 thru 4-12-08). It skips from the 1st week of June (6-1-08 thru 6-7-08), to the 3rd and 4th weeks of June (6-15-08 thru the end of the month). It is like it is not recognizing where my finger is pointing. I can access the current week through the list view and day view, and it will allow me to post an event by choosing the current week in the add option, but will not let me pick that date to view it once it has been scheduled. The dot shows up, and it shows on list view, but cannot get to the date by selecting it in month view. That section of my phone screen will let me access other applications and recognize where I am touching, so I don't believe it is a sensor issue. I have tried rebooting, but it has not helped. Any ideas out there? Please let me know. Thank You! for any guidance.

    Clearwater Randy,
If the screen is only not responding in that particular application, you may want to first do a reset. To reset, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that does not resolve your issue, try restoring in iTunes. To restore, connect your iPhone into iTunes and click Restore on the Summary page. Note: All of your information will be erased from the iPhone, so make sure to have a backup of important information on your computer before restoring.
    Hope this helps,
    Jennifer B.

  • How to select a single day from month view

From my ipad on IOS7 I can not select a single day from the month view? From the old versions all I had to do was double click a single date even if it had multiple appointments in it to view it. Was this feature removed?  Please help

It appears to me as though it has indeed been removed. You can tap and hold down on a day while in month view to create or view an event, but you cannot tap on the day to open the whole day's events.

  • How can I Print the next 4 or 5 weeks from iCal in month view (not simply complete months)

How can I Print the next 4 or 5 weeks from iCal in month view (not simply complete months).
I'd like to print the next (up an coming) weeks of my calendar from iCal in month view - The idea is to get this information on 1 sheet of A4.. just like the month view.. but as far as i can see the month view only gives you current or next complete months.. The ONLY time this give me the view I want is in the first week of any given month.. the rest of the month part of the print is in the past and not enough of the up and coming weeks are shown?
I can believe  the app won't allow you to do this .. am I missing an easy fix.. or has it been rectified in Yosemite .. I'm using mavericks 10.9.5.
    Thanks

    Hope this helps.

  • IOS 7 Calendar on iPad I cannot go from month view to day view. When I tap on the day of the month nothing happens.

I use to be able to look at my month in the month view and when I wanted to make an appointment for a specific day I just tapped that day and it would open up the day and I could add my appointment to the time slot I wanted. Now when I am in month view and I tap on the day I want to make an appointment it does nothing. If I hold my finger on the day it creates an All Day event which is not what I want to do and even if I add a start time to the event, I don't know what times I have available on that day because the Day view hasn't opened. This is extremely frustrating. On my iphone it works properly...I can go from month view to day view by tapping on the day I want to view. Why can't I do this on my iPad?? If I could go back to ios 6 I would, calendar is not impressive at all!!
Please help with any suggestions or PLEASE APPLE.....FIX THIS!!!

I just tested, and this unfortunately still seems to be a bug in the latest iOS 7.1 release of the Calendar on the iPad, which is too bad since the release notes suggest that this iOS update included both bug fixes and enhancements to the Calendar.
To my knowledge the bug has never been an issue on the iPhone version of the Calendar which behaves exactly as you would expect it should.
It seems inconcievable given the obvious broken-ness of the current behavior coupled with what I would expect is a massive number of people who use the Calendar on the iPad, but is it possible that this bug isn't on Apple's radar?
I'm happy to submit a bug report; does anyone know offhand the process for how the public can report bugs?
This has been persistent in the product for nearly six months; it's well overdue that this bug be squashed.

  • Remove "time" from Month view on Published Calendar

I am trying to remove the time from published calendars when in the "Month" view. The time is not showing on ical on the computer... but shows up on the published calendar. This is taking up tooooo much room on the calendar.
    Thank you for any assistance.

    Hi HWTheoB,
In my opinion, you could add a content editor web part to your listview page, then in the "source editor" property of your CEWP you can type <style>.ms-cal-monthitem
    B {display:none}</style>.
In addition, for the similar issue, you can refer to the following threads, although it is for SharePoint 2007, but you can get some hints from these articles:

  • Calendar from month view to day view

    Hi,
why isn't it possible (like on my iPhone) if I'm in the month view to tip on a specific day and see this day in the day view?
I adressed this already at the Apple Feedback page but it seems to be thaat even in iOS 7.1 it has not made into the finals - or am I doing it just wrong?
    Cheers
    Joerg

I share your frustration Joerg - when I switch from MONTH view to DAY view, I seem to end up on a random day rather than the day I'm trying to choose.
My 'workaround' is to double-click on the chosen day to create a New Event, then click across to Day view, then hit erase o get rid of the unwanted new event.  Surely there must be a better way?
    Cheers
    David

  • I am having problems with the month of October.  When I have the full month view, the synced items from google calendars won't show.  But they do for all the other months.

I am having problems with the month of October.  When I have the full month view, the synced items from google calendars won't show.  But they do for all the other months.  There is definitely a glitch somewhere because if I am on day view and try to click on day 15 of October, it will not let me.  It totally is acting weird.

Free fonts, fonts from a reliable foundry?
Have you tried removing them temporarily?
Do you still have problems if you create a new Windows user account and log in with that? How about if you start in Safe Mode?
And I would run a memory checker and see Troubleshoot font problems | Windows

  • I can't jump to a day from month view in iOS 7 calendar

When I tap a date in month view of calendar it does not jump to the day view

This problem drives me crazy too. Specifically when i want to make an appointment quickly. Why does apple not take it into account? There are many posts about this issue.
