Monthly Head count report as per Tax authority
Hi Experts,
Our team need to create report as per client requirements for Monthly Head count report by Tax auth. Please let me know is there any standard report through which we could refer for "Total head count per tax auth" output.

in 0ORGUNIT what i found is
0SOURCESYSTEM
0LOGSYS
both fields are missing .
those two fields effect any data loads.
and one more thing when i reload the data it is showing diffrent amount of employees as un assigned org unit.

We have a requirement at my client's place. the client wants to know the total number of employee's working under a particular department.
For example, In a HR department if there are 4 employees , the report should specify the count ie. give the total number of employees working, not the list of employees.
Please help me with your valuable inputs.

HCM: Head cout report for infotype 1019
Dear Experts,
I am new to HCM abap. I want to develope a head count report of three coloumns
in which I have to show designation/postion, number of overall planned employees in whole organization
for this designation , and number of employees currently working in this designation(in whole organization)
e.g;
Position Planned Employees Current Employees
Manager Maintenance 2 1
Foreman 10 12
Infotype which manage this data is 1019. But I can't see any table to get this data. My question is that how I should proceed with this report, which table, FM etc. I should use to do the above task.

If you are CM07, this is NOT a simple how exactly do you detect that a computer is a VM? You can guess by looking at the manufacturer name but it is only a guess.

Report on Service Contracts Authoring header level only
Created a Discoverer report that returns most of the header level data for Service Contracts Authoring. Issue is that for Summary/Parties it is returning all contacts. I want to see if I can limit the return to what the user is seeing at the application level (Role, Name, Email etc...) for the Contacts. I have found articles that suggest main line is what I want to return but had no luck. I have tried what I thought would be other unique identifiers from the okc_contacts_v, okx_party_contact_v, but the returns for each contact were identical. Thanks for any input on this subject.

Try to figure what security rule the application uses.
you need to look at the view that lies behind the application screen.
To do that you need to change the profile "Hide Diagnostics menu entry" for your user to: No using sysadmin.
Then go to the application screen where you see the needed data and go to Help->diagnostics->Examine.
enter password for APPS.
Then chose in "Block" the SYSTEM and in "Field" Chose "Last Query".
You'll get the sql behind the last query you made in the screen.
Copy it to the SQL tool and start drilling into the view/s.
Try to find the security applied in the sql and use the same in your query.
At the end of this process you'll get the same security in your view as in the application. -

Chart: amount (count) of records per month (and year). How?
I need to create a chart eventually. Can't get what formula to use. The data is:
1 | 15 Jan
2 | 20 Jan
25 | 14 Mar
26 | 16 Mar
28 | 20 Mar
The chart should show amount(count) of records per month(and year). So in this example:
Jan: 2
Mar: 3
Hm... totally lost. Any tips?To do this it would be best to add a column in which you isolate the month from the rest of the date information. Here's an example:
You may hide the Month-Isolated column if it impacts your presentation.
The Month-Isolated formula is: =IF(ISBLANK(B), "", (MONTH(B)))
The formula for the count in the Summary table is: =COUNTIF(Data Table :: $C, COLUMN())

i had already implemented SAP Personnel Cost Planning for Employees using the basic pay method , now i am embarking for the head count planning using the organizational objects.
Please if anyone can guide how monetary effect can be seen in SAP PCP if we do quota planning (1019) and planning of personnel cost (1015) , and when we do data collection in PCP which method should i choose and what cost item should i create.

1. you need to first create planning types & periods
(SPRO->PM->OM-Infotype settings-> Quota planning)
2. go to PP01 and select the Org unit
create the infotype Quota planning.
3. here you can select the Jobs that you want to plan for.
(Quota planning as per defined by sap is Planning for Jobs to be created under org units.)
4. The same can be created in planned status and then be approved.
5. Also you may need to go through the reports in easy access menu OM-> Tools-> Quota Planning
S_PH0_48000088 - Delete Unoccupied Positions on Key Date
S_PH0_48000087 - Copying Quota Planning into Another Planning Type
S_PH0_48000086 - Copying the Current Required Positions into a Planning Type
S_PH0_48000085 - Freeze Planned Quota

I have a report in BEx 7.0 which displays the Orgunit wise Employee Head count for the month Interval entered by the user. The 0EMPLOYEE is a time dependent charecteristic. For calculating the head count i have created a formula variable as:
Type: replacement path
Ref charecteristic: 0EMPLOYEE
Replace variable with: InfoObject and Charecteristic Reference (Constant 1) with the Calculation After Calculation.
Each employee has an Orgunit as an attribute.
Now when i run the report for period: 01.2010 to 07.2010 it does give me a count but for employees who have changed their orgunit's in this period the report counts it as two. Which should actually be 1 since its a single employee with just a change in Orgunit.

Instead of that try to get the head count by making use of Exception Aggregration .
Mke new formula and put 1 inside it then hit aggregation tab and choose count of all values NE 0 and refernce characterstic as
0Employee.
This will give you count of all the employees,now as you mentioned you need to get the count with respect to org unit so fot that make another formula and put your earlier formula inside it and this time choose Aggregation as Total and refernce characterstic as Org Unit .
Hopefully it will give you the correct count.

How to get month name in report

It is possible. Use a text variable of type replacement path in the column/report heading for characteristic 0CALMONTH. For displaying the key (for example 01.2007) you can use a SAP standard text variable. There's no need to create a new one.
If you want to show text (Eg: Jan 2007) just create a new text variable of type replacement path and chose Text instead of key. Hope this helps.

Need to show Previous months data in report
Hi All,
I have a crystal report 2011 which shows monthly Cash data. It has 3 other columns like Previous 3 months cash data, previous 6 months cash data, Previous 12 months cash data in report.
My report also has two parameters- start date and end date. If I give Start date as 1/1/2012 and end date as 12/31/2013 (two years date range) then correct data comes in all columns and for 2013 year, correct data is coming for Previous 12 months column. But if I give only one month date range like start date as 1/1/2013 and end date as 01/31/2013, then it is not showing correct data for these 3 columns - Previous 3 months cash data, previous 6 months cash data, Previous 12 months cash data. Ideally as per requirement, it should calculate previous months data regardless of parameter values and put data in respective columns.
Any help/suggestion? Any trick which can help me to show correct data in all columns no matter what date range or months I am taking in parameters.
Is it mandatory to have previous 12 Months data in report to calculate column-Previous 12 months Cash data?

You can try like this:
I have given a some suggestions i.e You just take one parameter only because u can imagine 3 columns previous data display correctly i.e From Date
Month parameter is also a alternate option.
For Ex: Column1: From Date - 90 Days/3 Months - we get the three months previous data correctly etc.
Finally, create a stored procedure that returns the required columns and does all the calculations on the database side.
Follow abhilash suggestion as well.

here the price is like this:
for team leader: 10000$ per year
for team member: 7500$ per year.
So in this project they worked for 20 days. So how can i map it into SAP Sytem.
