Monthly Hot Fix Installation Problem

Hi, I got the following error message during MHF1 installation:
"Error 1904: Module C:\Program Files\Business Objects\BusinessObjects Enterprise 11.5\win32_x86\EnterpriseFramework.dll failed to register. HRESULT - 2147024770."
Any ideas?
Platform:
Business Objects Enterprise Professional XI R2 (For Crystal Reports) with SP1
Windows Server 2003

Hi Oscar,
First, I would have tried to register the DLL manually with the following command "regsvr32" if that failed I would have used some third party tools such as Filemon and Regmon which are available from Microsoft website.

How does "use the hot fix installer to apply this update (ColdFusion 10 Update)" work?
I am building a ColdFusion 10 server on Windows Server 2008-R2 from scratch using the Lockdown Guide. I am stuck on the Updates. The mandatory "manual" update is installed, but I don't see how to jump to Update 10. In the administrator, when I check for updates it shows Update 10, but there is no download button. There is a download button for Update 7, but nothing happens. Is there not manual download and installation option? What am I doing wrong here? This should be the easy part. Thanks.
Message was edited by: GDMVUIt sounds like the updates page is not loading properly. Have you tried refreshing that page in CF Administrator? Also, you might try restarting the ColdFusion service. You might have a proxy/firewall issue as well. Here is the direct download link for the update: http://download.adobe.com/pub/adobe/coldfusion/hotfix_010.jar.

I create all reports we use on my laptop using CR XI Developer. We have the runtime envrionment installed on all needed machines. My question is this, when I update my computer with the newest SP or HotFix, do the reports themselves get updated with the changes or do I need to copy a .dll or something else over to the client PCs so that they are in the same state as my install? Does anyone know? Please let me know, thank you.Yeah, I have a strange state at the client I'm at where some of the developers are using SP1 and some are using SP0, but no one has the SP1 files so we can update. The sooner I can upgrade everyone the better...any word on when the updated SP1 will be ready?

newbe...how can I verify that the hot fix that I applied is valid. I downloaded (cf801.&cfide zip files) and followed the instructions. After stop/start the services...accessed the admin console and click on the I did not see any differences between our dev vs prod environment. Any help would be appreciated.
I am hoping you realize that the cumulative hot fix for CF801 includes not only CFIDE. The hot fix installation instructions tell you you have to copy files to the following 3 directories
{CF_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY}\lib
{CF_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY}\wwwroot\CFIDE
{CF_INSTALLATION_DIRECTORY}\wwwroot\WEB-INF
When I unzipped the hot fix download file, I saw that it includes the update JAR file CF801\lib\updates\hf801-00002.jar. I would therefore expect you to see hf801-00002.jar as the update level, when you go to the System Information page in the Administrator.
If you don't, then it could be that you have performed the installation incorrectly. For example, did you stop ColdFusion before installing the hot fix? Did you then delete any previous update JARs before installing the current cumulative hot fix? -
ADFS roll up 2 hot fix useRelayStateForIdpInitiatedSignOn key problem

I have on ADFS server and one ADFS proxy .<o:p></o:p>
I was using the key <useRelayStateForIdpInitiatedSignOn enabled="true" />
in my ADFS/ls configuration file.<o:p></o:p>
To use this key we have installed the HOT fix roll up 2. (Microsoft windows kb2681584)<o:p></o:p>
This hot fix was recommended to make ADFS 2.0 consume the RelayState for SAML application integrations.<o:p></o:p>
But now suddenly my application is not able to use this key in ADFS/ls configuration file.<o:p></o:p>
Is this hot fix setup got corrupt ? Should I reinstall this hot fix again and will re installing impact
my ADFS 2.0 environment.<o:p></o:p>
Can anybody tell me how I can fix this issue.

After re-installing the HotFix I was able to resolve this problem.
It requires the server to restart once installation is complete.
On restart, the key <useRelayStateForIdpInitiatedSignOn enabled="true" /> was
being used in ADFS/LS configuration file. -
While trying to save a word document (Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac) in PDF, there is a section of the header or footer which is always missing!! Could anyone please tell me hot to fix this problem!!??? It works perfectly fine on my friends Mac!!
Easiest way with Acrobat pro, is save the Word document, then convert the document to PDF with Acrobat, rather than doing a "save as" in Word itself to PDF.
Do you have Acrobat full version or Pro? -
I have an iMac5,1 with an intel processor. For the last month or so, whenever I play a video from an outside source - e.g. YouTube, the picture jumps and breaks-up. All of my software is up-to-date. Any thoughts on how to fix this problem?
You're welcome. As to checking speed go to http://speedtest.net/ and it will choose the closest server for you. BTW, whatever you do, don't click on the robot icon that says "Start Scan" or MacKeeper below that. Only use the speed test in the middle that has the button BEGIN TEST on it. It will run a download speed test first and then an upload speed test. The download test will give a much faster response.

I had this problem in Firefox 3.6.8 and then just downloaded version 3.6.12, the latest one, but it still happens constantly:

Fix your problem in 20 seconds, 15 if you copy and paste the 2 strings below:
- Open a new tab in Firefox
- Type "about:config" in the Address Bar (without the quotes)
- Click "I'll be careful, I promise!"
- Type "dom.ipc" in the Filter field on top of the page
- 6 lines of parameters should appear, ignore the first and the last ones
- Double-click on the 4 lines in the middle to change their value to "False"

Resolved!
After contacting Apple, I received a reply from their engineers:
Copy QTMovieWin.dll from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support
to: C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes
And that did the trick.
