Monthly subscription price is too expensive.

I just wanted to voice my opinion that I think $9.99 a month is too expensive for what this service offers. Hulu plus is only $7.99 a month and I get access to hundreds of videos for visual entertainment that are also accesible on my computer and my iphone. Granted this service offers a lot more than pandora, but that service is only $36 a year, only $3 a month. I think pricing it even with hulu plus would be a better way to go. I was seriously going to purchase the service, especially after I saw and email giving me a month free, but when I realized that it was going to be $2 more expensive, I then just thought, I'll just save the money and only keep my hulu plus. For me, if it was priced a little less, I would justify the cost to myself more. Especially if it was even a dollar less than hulu plus, I might even justify cancelling one service for the other to save the money. Just saying...

I like Spotify its a neat service. But $13.00 a month (NZ) is an interesting thing, you see I only like a few albums and singles mixed together, so I listen to those tracks over and over with no real desire to look for more unless I'm bored. So Spotify forces me to look for new music to get my monthly subscriptions worth out of the service. This is the part I struggle with - don't get me wrong I love music and Spotify helps a lot with that. But I tend to find good tracks by my own research and can get the music that I love on to different media the way I LIKE IT not spotify's way (we own everything you own nothing). I had a monthly subscription and enjoyed it but I soon found out that when I could no longer afford the service the music I thought that I owned was totally swiped away from me. This is fair as Spotify is running a business after all. But me being me I tend to take such things personally, I could no longer listen to my fav tracks anymore and had to source all the material again by other means to replace back to my smartphone. I am a lot happier now as I feel like I am in control again. Keep up the good work Spotify - you can fool the people some of the time, but not all of the time.

I thought I'd add to my comment above by saying Spotify is great. You are a good business in indeed...you listened to us 'financially challenged' indivduals out there and added the service within our phone plans for FREE and THAT my friends is what I call excellent service. Adobe charge different countries round the world different rates depending on their own internal workings, which involve a complex equasion using the countries historical exchange rate with USA as at 1927, the typical font size used in the purchasing countries newspapers and what type of units the Adobe manager for that territory has set in the Adobe application they are using at the time. Or whichever is the higher of that and US rates multiplied by 3.
Try and have a look at the Adobe website for NZ pricing but you'll probably have to look at the Aussie one, they can't really be bothered with having pricing avaialable on the web for little ol' En Zee.

I was asked by a Customer Service rep recently to give my feedback here, so here goes...
We have been Verizon customers for over 15 years and do not feel like our loyalty has ever been rewarded. Verizon is MUCH TOO EXPENSIVE with the new smart phone data packages that you are REQUIRED to add when you have to get a new phone. We have been happy over-all with the connectivity of Verizon's service, but it is just getting way too expensive. Years ago, when the family plan was created to "recruit" additional lines for existing customer accounts, the shared minutes plan was welcomed among many and minutes could be increased or decreased depending on the customer's needs. Now, however, with the addition of data plans, we are forced into expensive monthly service costs for each phone - there are not many options available to customize a plan or make it more affordable. Why not create a shared plan for data usage; a one fee price for accounts with two or more smart phones? Internet companies charge a "household" fee for wi-fi service regardless of how many devices are used to connect. I am so frustrated with my growing monthly Verizon bill that I am considering letting our contracts expire and switching to a less expensive carrier or just plain dumb phones to use phone service the old-fashioned way, but it's getting harder and harder to find phones that don't require a data plan. Customer longevity is rewarded by Verizon with increasing bills and more fees. Very frustrating.

I have two dumb phones only on my current account and I pay over $100.00 a month for talk and text with 300mb of data. Impatiently waiting on my contract to end so I can find something more suitable for my needs. I would love a smart phone but I cannot afford the data at all.

Your internet connection depends on access to a wifi network. When you leave your house you go out of range of your own network, so the only way to connect is to find a free or paid public wi-fi service in the location you are in at the time; the alternative is to use your iPhone for what is called 'tethering' (providing a wifi signal you iPod can connect to) but it you have an iPhone you would want to use that anyway (and many service providers don't allow it - in any case it comes expensive as you are using a mobile data connection).

You can't edit a file with PDF Pack, but you should be able to convert it to a Word document, and if you are really lucky edit THAT and make a new PDF. Don't expect too much though!

Bought 3 Month Subscription Before Knowing I Also ...

I bought a 3 month subscription to make US Calls using Skype before I knew you needed to also buy a number to receive calls. So, I decided to buy a number too but that also comes with a 3 month (forced) subscription...I paid for both now...does this mean I have 6 months of Skype paid up now? Also, the sub WITH the Skype number cost less then the sub WITHOUT the Skype number...so does this mean I will have 6 months WITH a Skype number (since I paid enough) or does this mean I will have 3 months with and 3 months without...and are the subs running consecutively or concurrently...do I need to cancel one? So confused! Please, please help. I have 3 little ones at home and am out of work (except for what I can earn on the internet) until they are in school and definitely can not afford two subscription running at the same time!

I do appreciate the help, but no...I was DOUBLE charged for the 3 month subscription...the first time I intentionally wanted to buy the 3 months, the second time I JUST wanted to pay for a number but to get the number I was only given the option to buy the number with yet ANOTHER 3 month subscription or for a 1 year subscription...so, only being given those two choices, I chose the 3 month, under the belief that I would not have a number and bbe paid up for 6 months total...I was not really worried because every other major company that I know of offers phone support to their PAYING customers (I was charged OVER $30 total) so I just figured if there as a problem I would call customer service to fix it...but Skype does not allow that unless you are a Special customer....Ohhhhhhhh. Photoshop on more than one computer with my one subscription price?

I have a monthly subscription for Photoshop CS6. Am I able to download and use Photoshop on more than one computer with my one subscription price?

Also, I have no registered products. I thought my CS6 would have shown up s a registered product. Is this why I cannot find a serial number? I apologize for dragging this on but I simply can't figure this one out.
Also, I read that adobe is no longer updating CS6. And on the Creative Cloud app it doesn't even give the option to download CS6 as a trial. It only offers CC to trial. Should I be doing that?

Your month-to-month subscription renews automatically and your credit card will be charged the fees stated at the time of purchase plus applicable taxes each month. Price may change at the end of your subscription period. You will receive a receipt via email when your card has been charged. Your subscription will start as soon as your credit card is successfully charged. You may cancel your subscription at any time via the subscription manager on Adobe.com or by calling Adobe customer service at the number for your region. Subscription (except Digital Publishing Suite subscription) cancelled within the first 30 days after purchase will be refunded. Digital Publishing Suite subscriptions will not be refunded unless required by law.
I saw in an other post that it was not possible to cancel the subscription, even the month-to-month one, before the end of the first year, so I just don't understand any more.
Is it possible to cancel the month-to-month subscription within the first year of contract? Let's say I want to publish 12 issues of my magazine in six months, one every two weeks, and then stop everything if I see it's not successful. Can I stop the subscription and not pay for the remaining six months?

I'm fairly confident that the monthly part refers only to how you pay, not the commitment. It's still a yearly contract, you just pay in monthly installments instead of the whole year lump sum up front. An Adobe reseller can help clarify this.

Unlimited World 12 month subscription automatic re...

Last year I got a 15% discount for my 12-month Unlimited World subscription.
This year it was automatically renewed at the full price.
But when I look today, the 15% discount is still available if I manually buy a new subscription.
So why did Skype automatically renew me at the highest possible price?
It's ridiculous that the discount is not given in the automatic renewal, if the discount is available for manual renewal.
I inquired with Skype chat support and they said that during my automatic renewal there was no discount available. This is just criminal! Why would there be discount last year and today, but not during my renewal a few days earlier?
I asked to make a complaint and chat support said I have to write a physical letter to their office in Luxembourg. Which is even more ridiculous.

Cancelling my Dreamweaver monthly subscription

I'm trying to cancel my Adobe Dreamweaver monthly subscription but I can't seem to get through to anyone via the online chat. I only have a few days left before I get stuck in a year-long contract - I've tried cancelling via the Manage Account area but it tells me I can only do it via online chat, forums or telephone (which I don't have access too). Any suggestions?
