Previously it publishes the following thing:
I have the following problem. I have a form with a dynamyc query, which was been worked well, nevertheless now was made changes in the BD, of such form that one of the tables involved in my query now is a partitioned table, now query no longer works, this show the following message:
ORA-00604: error occurred AT recursive SQL level 1 ORA-30563: to outer join operator (+) not allowed in select-list
Now I find this:
A query using a partitioned table with an outer join on the partition key column fails with an ORA-30563 from recursive SQL, Workaround: Set subquerypruning_ enabled = false
Please somebody knows to something al respect, or has the possibility of entering Metalink to verify if this is correct.

to answer this question, it has to be clear, what you mean with
SOA developer
SOA architect
in opposite to
software developer
software architect..
If the difference for software developer to software architect is clear to you, you should have a feeling, how to get a SOA architect.

ORA-30563, Outer Join not allowed in select list

I can not find any information about this error message that I am getting.
I have just upgraded my Oracle database from Version 7.3 to Version 8.1.7, a stored procedure that was written in v7.3 has outer joins in the select statement.
when trying to run this proc in version 8 I get this meesage.(ORA-30563, Outer Join not allowed in select list)
code ex:
Select alt.id
decode(alt.advise, NULL, NULL, AA.act_yr(+))||'-'||AA.act_per(+)||'-'||AA.Acc_per_no(+)) as advise_no
from alt, AA;
Is there any information about this message anywhere? or does anybody know if this is a known issue with oracle ver 8.1.7?

It appears to have been a bug in 7.x
From a metalink note on bugs fixed in 8i (doc 132632.1)
974742 Oracle does not report an error if (+) is specified in select-list. The OUTER JOIN operator (+) is only valid in WHERE clause predicates. As this is not flagged as an error the query can give unexpected results. The correct action to avoid this problem is to fix the query.

Where can I learn more about the Logic Environment?

I've been using LogicPro for a while now - since version 7 came out - and I'm ready to learn more about the mysterious Logic Environment. Anyone know of a good tutorial or website on this topic? I don't have a specific question - what I need is a general overview.
My sessions are primarily audio recording and mixing with a virtual instrument from time to time. I rarely use MIDI except to play the synths and instruments.
My environmental experience so far has been limited to creating and naming audio objects, accessing "hidden" faders and as an alternate to the mix views provided in the global and track mixers.
I'd prefer free advice but I'm not against paying if it's worth it. I have read the manual but I have a feeling that it will be more helpful once I have a better grasp on the big picture. It's a reference manual more than a how-to.
My MIDI devices are an Axiom-61 and PreSonus FaderPort.

Apple has what they call "online seminars" available on the main Logic page

If you look on the bottom right hand side of the page, you see a link for online seminars. You'll have to go through a regstration process, then you can watch 3 or 4 streaming Quicktime videos of people using different functions in Logic. There's nothing really in depth there, but it does show you a few useful shortcuts and methods.

This is cause by the way the App Store checks to see if an application is installed on your system.
Basically when an app is installed it is in the Applications folder and this is where the MAS looks for them. So it looks at your purchase history for the apps you bought and looks in the Applications folder to see if they are installed. If an app is in your purchase history but not in the Applications folder the MAS says you need to install it.
For normal apps this works fine but the OS doesn;t install into the Applications folder. So the MAS sees you have Mountain Lion in your purchase history but it's not in the Applications folder and so it says you need to download it.
Hopefully one of these days Apple wil fix this.

Learning more about the features in PS touch

I was looking at PS touch, maybe for my ipod mini.
I was hoping to get more of a sense of what the features are, but it seems Adobe has replaced information with hype, giving us the Disney version of what their programs are about.
I'd like to know more about the features of PS Touch, specifically:
I assume I can use layers, but do they have modes such as darken, lighten, overlay, soft light, etc?
Can I create masks in these layers, so I have control over which part of the layer is applied to the image?
Does the curves tool have more than 3 points to adjust, can you add points as with full PS?
If I was working off my camera's memory card hooked up to the iPod mini, can I then do a save as of the image I'm working on, either saving it to the card or my device (in part to create a new image and to also keep the original) ?
It's very frustrating that this information is not more readily available to us. also, I may have missed it, but i didn't see a link to the forums from the Adobe pages, not under Learning, or about Adobe, or?

Yes, PS Touch uses layer blending modes just like in Photoshop (and Photoshop Elements). It doesn't have *every* blending mode, but the basics (like the ones you listed) are there.
The best that I can explain it as far as "masks" in PS Touch goes is that you paint your desired effect onto your image (via the Effects Paint tool). You do not need a mask layer per se as the effect is contained as you paint over the desired area. (You can adjust size, hardness, flow and opacity of the brush in this tool. If you have a tablet with pressure-senstive support, you can control size and opacity as well dynamically like you would with a Wacom graphics tablet connected to a desktop.)
You can add/subtract as many points as you want in the Curves adjustment. (There's a general Curves adjustment and one provided under the Effects Paint tool; both use the same interface for options.)
I don't think so, as the file system in PS Touch is self-contained (at least under Android; not sure about iOS). When you go to save a project, it's added into the main interface. (You can create folders to manage these projects, btw.) You can then export projects under a desired file type (like PSD or JPEG) locally or to a service like Adobe's own Creative Cloud or Dropbox.

Outer Join problems - "ORA-30563 outer join operator (+) not allowed in select-list"

Products: Discoverer 4.1.33.0.2
(Admin and User/Plus)
8i EE 8.1.7 (Discoverer server)
8i EE 8.1.5 ('source data' server)
Background assumptions: (1) If a column from an "outer-joined" table is compared to a constant, the outer join operator must be applied to that column in order for the outer join to work. (2) A 'Condition' specified in Discoverer User/Plus manifests as a comparison to a constant.
I created a join in Admin between two folders, selected 'outer join on detail' option. In User/Plus, created worksheet containing columns from the joined folders. When no Conditions are NOT specified, results seem ok. However, when Condition IS added, worksheet encounters "ORA-30563 outer join operator (+) not allowed in select-list" and returns blank sheet.
To workaround, created Custom folder with outer join in place. Didn't work either with Conditions specified. No error, but I think that because Discoverer did not 'outer join' the Condition column, the outer join was ignored.
Any insights, ideas, or workarounds are much appreciated.

If you build a query that uses an outer join then any items from the potentially deficient side of the join will have (+) appended to them everywhere in the sql. Up until 8.1.7 this was OK in the select list as it was just treated as noise and ignored - However this now fails with ORA-30563:
outer join operator (+) not allowed in select-list...
In 4.1.33.1.6 you get the error 'ORA-30563 outer join operator(+) not allowed in select list'.
In 4.1.36.1.10 the query runs OK.. Your work around I would guess would be to create a custom folder as you suggested.

ORA-12801 and ORA-30563

The failing happened at a point where I have an outer join statement, where one of the join condition uses a function like
...where a.sup_id=b.supid_lookup(pc,sc) (+) and a.plant_code=b.plant_code (+)
I don't see these error when run under debug and the join did not get me the data neither.

well, like the error sais, the (+) is in the SELECT list.
If the error is in fact raised from the WHERE clause, you might to wrap the function call into an inline view. What I don't get from you example, is the meaning of 'b'. you seem to treat it both as a table and as a package containing the function 'supid_lookup'

But without a description of your tables, I might be making some wrong assumptions.
