More battery life

i need bigger capacity battery,
flame phone's battery is not enough ( 1800 mAh).
if flame phone have more longer battery life, (3900 mAh)
then it will be selling point.

Hi sailfish009,
Thanks for posting your findings. This is very exciting! There must have been a lot of optimization work done on the OS to bring battery usage back to being great. =)
However, please keep in mind that since it's a version under development, this battery usage may not reflect the final product.
Also, there are some applications that can eat up a lot of battery. ConnectA2 is one of them, even though it's one of my favorite applications.
Thanks,
- Ralph

  • Why is iOs 8 using so much more battery life on my 5c??

Ever since updating to iOs 8 with the supposed bug fixes, my 5c uses MUCH more battery life and I am NOT on it during the day at work except to make 4 -5 short phone calls!!!  I hate it!!  Wish I'd never updated.  I have decreased screen brightness, turned off notifications for practically everything, and usually only play a little Solitaire and check FB for about 15 - 20 min. each evening.  Also, FB isn't working at all since I've updated.  I can open it and see old stuff but no new posts to FB.  Come on, Apple!!  This isn't what we wanted.  Believe me, lesson learned.  I won't update ever again to a new Os.  This is ridiculous.  I loved my 5c and it was working fabulously with great battery life!!  I only bought my first iPhone 6 months ago and WAS in love with it UNTIL NOW!!  Does anyone have any suggestions???

Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new device.
Have you tried ALL the troubleshooting steps?  If you have and you're still having problems, then you'll need to bring your phone into Apple for evaluation and possible exchange.
There is no supported way to downgrade the iOS.

  • HT4759 Does I Cloud use more battery life

Does I Cloud use more battery life?

I suspect that if you turn on the backlight to look at the artwork, the backlight uses battery juice. I doubt the physical presence or absence of album art uses any more juice.
BTW, I don't believe the album art uses a "**** of a lot of MB". It probably only adds a few KB to the song file since it is so small.

  • Turn off Wi-Fi, get more battery life

How big of an increase will there be in battery life on the touch if I have the Wi-Fi turned off?
    Prof.

You will probably get some improvement, although if you aren't using it then it probably won't be spectacular.
Saw some posts here saying you can get 7 hours of battery using Safari/WiFi.
I get about 2 hours surfing the Discussions.

  • Getting more battery life with Mighty Mouse

    Hi,
is there a way to make the Mighty Mouse read accurately the level of energy left in its batteries?? I have over 20 AA batteries of any kind (rechargeable or not, lithium or not, 1.2v or 1.5v, 2300 mah or else, etc.) and they all read "good-70%" when I test them with a simple battery tester. Still, the Mighty Mouse reads them very low, if not dead. What to do with that??
    Thanks.

How interesting. I've been relying on the computer reading as valid. I guess I'll have to get a battery tester myself and check it. You might bring the batteries into a nearby Apple Store and show the techs there what's happening. If you do that, post again with whatever you hear. If I can get the same results, I'll bring the mouse and the batteries into an Apple Store and let them figure it out.

  • Does turning bluetooth off give you a lot more battery life?

for the macbook air 13" 2011 version.
    Thanks

WiFi is going to be a much larger consumer of battery power. My machine has Bluetooth on constantly (and only about 40% of the time with a peripheral attached). I still routinely get 5+ hours of normal use off a full charge. It's been a while since I ran usability tests but back in '08 I remember doing usability tests (wired v. wireless, etc.) and the difference with Bluetooth was a difference of about 10-15 minutes over 5+ hours of usage.

  • HT4528 I have no battery life in my iphone 5 since the iOS 7 upgrade.  I have completed all suggestions to help increase the battery power and now I can't use my phone more than 4 hours without the battery dying. What is the solution?

I have no batter in my iphone 5 since upgrading to ios7.  I have talked with verizon techinical support and completed all suggestions to maintain the battery. And by the way, these suggestions are annoying and limit phone use as well as require you to close out each application after use, also turning off wi-fi and blue tooth. I don't need this phone if I can't use the features for which it was purchased! Any ideas?  Is there a fix coming soon for the battery? Can I return my iphone for my old droid?
    Help!

Hi! I don't what's happened for your phone but, you can have more battery life with turning of Wifi, decries brightness, turn off location service and etc. also you shold use less Free+Much Ads apps becuase they use more battery than paid apps normaly.
for more informations about battery normal life see here.
I guess it's not a normal issue. so connect to Apple Care or wait for a better answer...

  • I downloaded maverick for my rmbp 15" and now I get 2 hours more of battery life, but is there any compromises?

i downloaded maverick and now i get  2 hours more of battery life, but is there any compromises I'm failing to notice?

Apple designed OS X Mavericks to get more battery life. You can consider yourself lucky, because most users report that battery life has decreased.
There is nothing to worry about. Your battery life is longer and you can use your Mac for more time without plugging it in

  • Retina MBP 2.6 only 3 hours of battery life?

My 1 week old Retina MBP 2.6 is only getting 3 hours max on battery with light surfing. When watching videos i also only get 3 hours tops. Bluetooth is off, keyboard light off, screen backlighting 50%, gfxCardstatus set to integrated only (also confirmed in energy saving settings). I run 10.7.4, all updates installed.
Is this normal? Isn´t it supposed to get at least 5 hours when browsing the web (no youtube)? Should i return it and get the 2.3 instead for more battery life?
    Thanks in advance.

There have been reports of problems with various models experiencing low battery life after installing Mountain Lion but as you're still using Lion, you should be getting at least 7 hours on battery for light web surfing (not a lot of YouTube videos, etc.).
My suggestion would be to take the machine into your local Apple Store and let them deal with the problem. Before that you can download the free "Battery Health" from the App Store which lets you see your battery health in real-time, as opposed to always having to go into your System Report. There's no reason that you should be getting less than 7+ hours of battery life.

    Hi Bulldog69,
Have you checked if you have Advanced Task Killer downloaded? If so, have you removed it? Was this successful in changing the results for the battery?
If you did not have Advanced Task Killer downloaded, there are applications out there that will tell you what is using your battery. It could be an application that is constantly running, it could be an application that is left running accidentally, etc. I recommend going to the Application Market and doing a search on the word "battery." This may help in determining the cause.
I did check my references and I am not showing that what you describe has been reported as a known issue.
Please post back with any results.
    Best regards,
No I do not have any task killers as I heard they can be can cause more problems than they are good. I have checked apps and found nothing causing battery drain and my battery just started getting real bad in the last week without adding any new apps.

  • IPhone 6 battery life draining since 8.1 update

Is anyone else having problems with their iPhone 6 battery life diminishing since the latest 8.1 update? I notice I'm getting much less usage time per hour. For example, before 8.1, it would take about 3 hours of usage time to get to 70%. Now it only takes 2 and it gets worse after that. Here is a screenshot I took of the battery usage before the 8.1 update:
This is pretty normal usage timings for me (it was taken Monday, October 20th). Now, here is a screenshot from today, after starting out with 100% this morning:
As you can see, it's quite a huge difference. The weird thing is that messaging seems to take up more battery life than it used to. Yes, I do text quite a bit during the day but the frequency of this has not changed between now and October 20th. It shouldn't be using THAT much battery life. I took it to the Genius Bar yesterday to ask them about this problem and the girl told me that she saw some crashing from the Messages app in Diagnostics Information and she felt that maybe since the update, there was something causing that app to use more battery. So she suggested erasing the phone and restoring from an iCloud backup. I did this yesterday when I got home but, as you can see, the problem is no better (though there are no more crashes listed in the diagnostics information).
I have no idea what else I can do to fix this and I'm getting really tired of having to charge this twice a day now (I used to have to do this with my iPhone 5, as well). If anyone has had a similar problem, I would appreciate suggestions. And before you ask, I'm doing all of the normal battery saving tricks, like turning off background app refresh, not having it check for mail all the time (it's manual), brightness is down, I turn wifi off when not using it, I don't leave apps open, etc etc etc.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!!!
    Pooja

I turn off background refresh, mail push/fetch, and I turn off wifi and bluetooth if I'm not using them. I also minimize which apps use location services. Even when doing all of that though, the battery life became terrible on 8.1. Since updating to 8.1.1 all issues seem to have been fixed so I'm very grateful for that. I recommend anyone on 8.1 who is having issues to upgrade to 8.1.1 immediately.

  • Why is my battery life going so quickly

I just bought this iPad mini and the battery life goes down 5% in a half hour. How can I get more battery life?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.
How to Calibrate Your Mac, iPhone, or iPad Battery
    http://www.macblend.com/how-to-calibrate-your-mac-iphone-or-ipad-battery/
At this link http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/galaxy-tab-android-tablet,3014-11.html , tests show that the iPad 2 battery (25 watt-hours) will charge to 90% in 3 hours 1 minute. It will charge to 100% in 4 hours 2 minutes. The new iPad has a larger capacity battery (42 watt-hours), so using the 10W charger will obviously take longer. If you are using your iPad while charging, it will take even longer. It's best to turn your new iPad OFF and charge over night.
