More Bugs!!! Trial Activation.

Can someone please explain to me why, even though I am a paying subscriber I have to get the trial messages?
My account is paid monthly, I am a paying subscriber, I want these apps. NO I am not in trial mode, YES my account and the licensing for all the software has been verified and apporved. Why must I get the "Account not active" or "You're in trial mode" randomly and intermittently when I open any application in the suite? This making me have to always click "verify account" and then sit and watch the spinning icon as it "verifies" that yes I own the software...again...for the 3rd time in a day.
Please fix this.

P.S. Photoshop STILL has the bug where if you're a Windows top Start bar user (and draggin documents makes the windows snap)...well you just can't be a top bar user if you want to use Photoshop. (there have been many other updates, why not this)

After installing this it should prevent the issue with the CS6 products reverting to trial.

How can you create an activity as subsequent act. of more than one activity

Hi.
I want to create an activity as subsequent activity of more than one activity.
I am using FM CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE, but if I write data structure CRMXIF_DOC_FLOW with more than one item the system shows the error CRM_COPY 010 More than one predecessor was entered for data transfer.
However I have customized multiple relationship allowed, and if I do multiples links in transaction crmd_order it works all right.
Only it doesn't work with FM CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE. I need create activities with FM because they are interface R/3. What FM can I use to create multiple subsequent activities?

I have got some activities creates in the system. (e.g. Act. 1, Act. 2, Act. 3 and Act. 4). With the FM CRMXIF_ORDER_SAVE filled the structure CRMXIF_DOC_FLOW you can create subsequence activity of one of them (e.g. Act. X.1). I need create the same activity (Act X.1) from another activity, (e.g. Act. 2). I know to do this in transaction CRMD_ORDER by link tab. But I don't know how to do this using FM or BADI or another thing.

Service PO for more than one activity number

Hi Experts,
    I'm working on service process, my client requirement is to create a Service PO, SES and Invoice using BAPI's.
    While creating Service PO using BAPI_PO_CREATE1 with
    Item cat 'D' and Acc *** Cat 'P' and more than 1 activity number at the services level,
    service PO is getting created only for the 1st activity and not for the rest of the items.
Can you please help me in solving this issue.

Object Type: P
Object ID: <blank>
Maint flag: not checked (for display access)
Eval Path: <blank>
Status Vector: <blank> (though the system will probably set it to 12 anyway)
Function Module: <The name of your function module that returns the second pern of the current user as type HROBJECT. See standard module RH_GET_MANAGER_ASSIGNMENT for an example>
This profile can then be used to grant users access to their "second PERNR".

TP3 more bugs & problems tha in TP2

Hi everyone!
After some time playing with TP3 I have feeling it is slower and more buggy that TP2. And I noticed that many posts here are related to bugs in TP3 that were not noticed in TP2. Also, TP2 was working fine with JDK 1.6 while TP3 is not working at all. Looks like TP3 is feture extended TP2 but with more bugs and less performant...
My questions are: What is going on? When we can expect TP4 hoing it will be faster and more stable.

I agree for the bugs, tp3 seem plenty of new bugs and new features also ... it is great to have new features.
I disagree for your comment about performance. Performance is better for me, particulary in diagraming and off line database editors.
I didn't see any real improvements or worse performance in adf bc or adf faces editors.
It is a lot of work to be done by Oracle to improve JDev but it seem the final product will be really improved and usable and will offer a great profitable platform for great results.

Getting problem with safari, requires activation code and no longer opens. Restarting my devices does not help. Thie newer system the more bugs it gives us. It is getting full of bugs like this...

What OS are you using? Can you post the error message you are getting? Try opening Safari with the shift key held down.

All right, 2 days into this thing and I have dealt with 10 AT&T people - with about a 50% chance of getting someone helpful.
Okay, so I ordered an iPhone and had it shipped to Anchorage - Knowing full well of the situation I would endure trying to get it activated. Someone had to try. So I did.
On Monday night (after receiving my iPhone earlier in the day) I went through the iTunes process of porting my Alaska # with a 907 area code to an address in Washington state. No go, I expected that. I got the standard "more info required" email and called the #. The person I spoke with (who was obviously given the job out of some sort of required hiring practice, he had no idea what he was doing) kindly canceled out the process so I could start over.
So I tried again - This time using a suggestion of porting my AK 907 # and using the "other" option of where the phone will be used during the activation and entering the Washington address I tried before.
Processing. . Hours later. . . More info required.
So we canceled the process again, and started over.
note the iPhone is still in brick mode.
This third time around I accepted I had been defeated and tried to sign up using my WA address and getting a new # (using the 'GoPhone' method).
Well, I got an email almost instantly saying "more information needed".
So I called. Aparently the SSN # Method is being screened for now and failing a credit check will not fly.
SO, being it was still daylight out here in Alaska - I was feeling curious and tried porting my AK # one more time using the 'other' option again. I got the email asking for 'more info' and called... again...
And the guy I spoke with thought since Alaska was in the process of getting AT&T that he could port my # to the WA address and we could transfer it back to AK once the 'Switch' had been made.
And to my suprise my iPhone sprang to life. I received an email saying my '907 ... ....' # was being ported! Happy day!
But. Its been 22 hours and nothing has happened with my #. I can still use my old cellphone. I called AT&T support and they show my # is in the porting process. One rep said I needed to wait the full 24 hours. Another said this should not be possible. One hung up on me. One answered the phone and said the wrong company name and hung up.
So now, I wait. I check the status of my port with the automated # and get a "its in process message". Somehow I doubt anything will come of this. I'll let you know.
Sorry if this is really long. 24 hours on the phone with AT&T - no sleep.

No phone number from Alaska can actually be ported to AT&T right now. They don't have a license agreement with any cell providers up here. So, until the merger - no 907 phone numbers will actually be ported to the iPhone.
I was told by the reps that I could register the phone at a Washington address AND get a Washington area code.
My iPhone sim card was registered with my 907 phone number.. so without a new simcard from AT&T (and it has to be their sim card) I'm out of luck.
Remember the porting process takes place in 2 stages. The phone number is imprinted to the sim through iTunes with an approval from AT&T and that activates your iPhone.
AT&T will then submit a porting request. This second process is totally detached from iTunes and Apple. Since its a 907 number is in Alaska they will be unable to do the second step.
Any AT&T rep has the ability to activate your iPhone through iTunes by registering your sim card with a phone number. This will take your iPhone out of brick mode. They can activate your phone without giving you an actual account.
This is what happened to me by accident. I don't think they will actually do this to be nice.
You can register your billing address in AK and choose a different place that you will primarily be using your iPhone (and thats where the phone's area code will be registered).
I'm not sure the AT&T edge network will work in Alaska though. But, if you use more than 50% roaming time in AK, they may shut you down. I doubt it, especially with the coming merger, but it's worth trying.

N97 V2 music player has more bugs than a hundred y...

My problem is back!
This is what I have done in the past hour.
Exported my contacts to vcf onto memory card. Removed the card.

Went through all that... Then remembered I hadn't wiped mass storage.
Wiped mass storage (Which it kept complaining it couldn't do until I removed all the default active apps on the front screen). After removing them it eventually formatted it

Let it get settled...
Connected to USB, did a firmware update check. 2.00.19, no update available. Disconnected USB.
Removed all the front screen **bleep**, added shortcut 2, put my normal shortcuts onto it.
Added my wifi destination
Opened the browser, went to google.co.uk via my wifi, added that as bookmark
Put the memory card back in (there are no apps on it, I never got round to using it for anything).
Imported my contacts back from the memory card.
Went into music player, zero tracks shown. Good.
Connected USB, started Nokia Music PC application (latest version, had checked). Right clicked on one album 13 tracks.
Let it send them over to the N97.
Disconnected phone. Started N97's music player. It says music library corrupt, scanning... Says 13 tracks found.
Artists shows one artist, 13 tracks. Albums shows 1 album. All looks good.
Go into the album, pick on a track, starts playing.
Volume control does nothing. Touch volume control does nothing. Headset remote control, volume, forward and reverse do nothing. Touch screen pause/play forward and reverse do work, but there is no way to control volume.
I've screwed up this music player app before the Nokia system has even got round to sending me the Welcome text message (which I have seen too many times!).
Okay, I'm going to write the next bit line by line as I do it... So bear with me... It's step by step. You never know, it might help anyone that gives a damn (Nokia hopefully), fix it!

Front screen now just shows shortcuts1 and 2, but the shortcuts themselves have switched back to Nokia's defaults.
Music player volume now works!
Connect to USB, send another mp3 album. PC app says (and shows on the %age bar) transferring 5 tracks. Album has 18. Nokia Music system tray icon says complete after 5, but the little arrows shows things are still being transferred. Waited for them to finish. Click the N97 icon and it's showing both albums, with all 18 tracks the second one really does have.
Disconnect USB
Go into Music library on N97, no auto refresh message. Showing only the original album with 13 tracks.
"Options\refresh library" nothing shows as scanning, just appear straight back at the artist,album,playlist option screen. Albums still shows just the first one.
Option\music library details says 13 tracks
Playback and volume still work.
Using the file manager, mass storage, music there's my 2nd artist, the album, and all the mp3 files. I can click them and play them. Volume still works.
Select original (found) album, select delete. Everything shows 0, even though 2nd album is there in the mass memory, file mgr shows it. First artist and albums folders are still there, but empty (Nice house keeping Nokia).
Reconnect USB, Nokia Music just shows the "invisible" 2nd album, and will play it.
Pick a 3rd album of 11 tracks... Send that to N97.. No progress bar or anything shown, just wait for the arrows to stop flashing and then confirm N97 is showing two albums (the invisible on and new one) on the PC app.
Disconnect USB.
Back on the N97... Apps, Music.. Says Music Library 11 songs (that's the 3rd album)... Go into it..
Albums (no songs)
All songs (no songs)
Artists: The artist from 3rd album is shown... 11 songs!
Click it... Shows the album name, 11 songs.
Click the album, and click the first track to play it... Long delay of a few seconds...
Starts playing... Volume not working again!
Try refresh library... again, nothing, no progress bar...
No change, no volume control.
Now here's the really weird bit... If I go and find the mp3 file on the mass storage, and play it from there, volume control works! Come back through the music play app, play the same track, volume won't work.

Apps, Music, Music Library (11 songs), go into that, click Albums.... "Cannot perform whilst USB connected" **bleep**?I disconnected that ages ago when i said I did. After that every attempt to go into Albums dumps me back to the Music app showing "Last player - blank" "Music Library 11" etc etc...
Exit all the way out and try to go back in...Artists does the "USB connected" error. Albums just dumps me out. Playlists says "File corrupt". All songs say "(no songs)". Podcasts and Genres say "USB connected", composers "General system error" and after that I get a couple of other system errors from other options and then it just dumps me back out.

Connect USB, mass storage mode this time (all previous attempts have been PC suite mode).
Create a now folder in music for the artist name (as stored in ID3 tag), create subfolder in that for the Album name (as stored in ID3). Copy mp3 files.
Eject USB device, wait for windows to confirm... It does.
Disconnect USB cable.
App\music\Music Library (29 songs - Thats the two previous albums). Go into it, previous tracks shown, playback/volume okay.
Refresh library works again... Now 3 albums, volume works.
Back to USB (mass storage mode).
This time deliberately doing the storage structure wrong... \music\albumname\mp3s (normally \music\artist\albumname\mp3s).
Music library still showing the 48 tracks from the first 3 albums... Seems to open a bit slower... Still works though.
Refresh library... 13 files added...
4 albums... All working...
Looking with file mgr from badly arranged folder is still as I made it... I guess the Nokia Music PC app creates the tree format, and the N97 doesn't actually need it.
Okay, proof of pudding test...
Connect via USB (mass storage).
Delete the album I created with the mangled folder structure.
Copy 20 folders of mp3 albums across using just windows file manager to the mass storage drive's music folder.
Eject USB storage device from windows....
Oh... Up until now I was almost certain I would be able to use N97 as an MP3 player as long as I avoided the Nokia Music PC app...
Apps\Music\music library shows 61 songs, which is what it had...
Go into it, click albums and I'm getting the USB device connected message. It's not, and the icon isn't even showing on the phone, so I can't go into the player to see if volume works.
Refresh isn't displaying anything, or doing anything I can see. Playlists say the file is corrupt...

Apps\Music\music library (61 songs).. go in, "Repairing corrupted library. Searching for music and podcasts"
After a little while... 2 hundred and something found...

Last night I had a thought...
I wondered if the N97's Music player was getting upset when scanning my music because I had the jpg of the album cover in the folder with it (I tend to do that). As I hadn't bothered reloading any music since my last hard reset I thought I would give it a try.
I removed all non-mp3 files from my music folders.
Connected N97 in PC Suite mode
Started Nokia Music PC app and transferred one album. Let it finish, closed the PC Nokia Music app, gave it a few seconds to settle, disconnected the N97 and had a look.
It appeared in the music player and worked.
Ooooh, right, in for a penny, in for a pound as they say... I connected it back up and sent over another 6 albums. Again closed the Nokia Music app... Waited a few seconds and disconnected the N97.
Went and had a look... "Library corrupt, scanning.... blah blah"... Oh dear, here we go again. But no, a progress bar actually appeared, and after a minute it said "0 file(s) added", but they were all there. All the album art appeared (I'd already embedded that in the mp3 files days ago). All the albums, all the music.
They played, and the volume worked!
Yay! Thinks me... Solved... And goes to bed a happy man.
I set my alarm (on the phone) for the morning and turn the phone off so nobody can phone me before my alarm (which really screws up my sleep!).
This morning the alarm goes off.
I hit stop. It asks if I want to turn the phone on, I say yes.
It asks for my lock code (which I have enabled). I enter it. It says code correct.
Flash of white on the screen... and it asks for my lock code again, which I enter... It says correct again.
This time I get the Nokia tune.
It comes up to the normal front screen, jumps itself onto the application screen, throws up a system error and reboots.
It comes back up (without asking for a pin) and this time settles at the front screen looking for all the world like a working phone... A text message arrives to prove at least that's working.
Hmmm... I wonder about my music...
Well it's all there... But guess what... Volume control doesn't work again!
Oh and clicking "Podcasts", of which I have zero, still produces, and has always produced (even straight after a hard reset), the message "Out of memory, please remove something"... Pressing it again produces "System Error". After that nothing in the Music Library menu works, all produce "System Error". You have to close it and restart to get anything in Music Library to "work".

I keep my C: drive clear of everything. Even my text message storage has been switched to E: (not that I have may since all the hard/soft reboots. Most of them are the "Welcome to nokia" message. Anything that gives me the option to install to another "drive" gets put onto E:
I haven't installed any of the 3 files offered in since the hard reset "SW Update", N-Gage, Nokia Messaging or Ovi Contacts.

Captivate 6 | A dozen or more bugs here or just strange "undocumentated features"

These are issues / bugs or bizarre nehaviours - some of them may be down to newbiew issues, but not many, read on if you dare...

Firefox 19 (also Safari 6.0.2 and Chrome 24.0.1.1312.57 (but as you will see below there is no way to Tell Captivate these browsers exist and are installed)
Flashplayer 10.0.2.54 - but I have no interest in flash and all the testing has been eithe pure HTML or HTML5

The disabled / crippled close minimise buttons of the MAC OS do not follow the correct convention and therefore confusing unnecessarily to new users. (Conventions are there for a reason)
Inserting fully www3 compliant animated gifs, results in gifs that don't animate] EVEN in browser preview. This is incredibly bad for web based previews.
GIF images scale down very poorly (ending up jagged) - even with modest scale down
The "click Y or click anywhere doesn't work" typing Y does not work (probably because the Get_focus property for the active preview has been lost by the program)
The quiz review button is inconsistent - sometimes it shows the ticks and crosses other times it doesn't
Slide master is confusing, with inserted graphics only appearing on some slides in the "film strip" thus it is simpler to ignore slid masters and add images directly to the individual actual slides
The placing of A), B) C) etc seems to result in them being buried under radio buttons if the project size is at or below about 350px width. Even above this it does not seem possible to either remove them (as they still are placed clumsily) or move them to the correct position (it is almost as if the text settings (properties) of multiple quo ice answer bullet points is not getting applied to the A), B) C) etc labels, just the text
Is the JS created unique to the project ? If so does this mean that in Moodle (for example) the header has to get stuffed with a JS file for every quiz instead of calling a standard library lie jQuery?
The placing of the (quiz review) red cross and the green ticks is all over the place and the sizes are very inconsistent (creating something of a real layout mess) - sometimes the same buttons just don't even show up?
Publshing the project into a neat folder seems to result in dozens of unused images (e.g. arrows and blue circles) being copied into the folder?
The publish tools complains about certain browsers e.g. Firefox latest version but does not state what elements are at fault in the project - leaving you to guess if there really is an incompatible component or whether all of those pre-check tick boxes in the audio, video preferences of Captivate are to blame. There is no indicator of graceful degradation of features
I have been unable to find anywhere the setting that allows me to choose the browser to test this on - since it complains that the latest firefox is no good. Any suggestions? Its not in preferences nor publish - both places where users would have looked.
Has anyone put a Captivate quiz into Moodle and knows where all the hundreds of files and folders from a Captivate project must go?

More bugs in 2.5 or is it me?

Sorry to bother you again but after haf a day working with version 2.5, here is what I have experienced....
Version 2.0:
After loading a project back some dataviews were just cleared (if eg it contained 3 dataviews with 3 signals, after loading it back in again
all views are gone...)
Version 2.5:
Still the same thing, this bug has not been resolved?
Version 2.0 => 2.5
When I save several signals (to LVM file) in a project saved in 2.0 and I run this same project in 2.5, it just saves the first signal!!!!
This was realy ambarasing because I've measured a few hours before I realized something was wrong...
So, I have to remove all the signals from the SAVE step and re insert them and then somehow it does what it should do...

Graph Scales were cleared after savind or run once...

Still the same thing :-(
So, my experience with this new version is rather bad, it even seems to slow down the whole PC,
and all the bugs of the previous version (2.0) are still there??? I believe maybe I should go back to version 2.0...

O my system is XP with 2Mb ram,
and when I click "about Signal Express" it shows version 2.5 so just in case ....

Yes for the empty dataview problem try this:
Create a project wich measures for example 3 signals, create a dataview with 3 views in, one for each signal,
save the project.
Then open that project again and in my case there is then just one Dataview with no more subviews anymore,
also there is no signal bounded to the view anymore, so in fact I'm left with just an empty Dataview...
I normally measure a number of signals at a time, 8, 12, or so and I define datviews (tabs) with the raw signals, then with the
filtered versions, then with fouriers for example, that is one of the main reasons We buyed SE because it gives us this nice
view on different signal aspects in different tabs, once the project is running no problems (exept for thos damn Y scale labels overwitten
off course) but when I save the project and reopen it again, from the 5 tabs with lets say 3 views each only one remains intact,
the other views seem to have lost their layout or subviews or what you call it....
I can reproduce this error every time I save and re-open a project... but one time if I have 3 tabs with dataviews it clears to views,
the other time it clears one... very strange.
What exactly is saved with each project? I do hope the layouts of the tabbed windows also? It is annoying to redefine the views
each time I open up a project (the essence of SE is just to be able to measure signals, save the project and two hours later be able to
just open the project again and measuring immediately or am I wrong? It is a loss of time if I have to "makeup" the views again

Yes for the empty dataview problem try this:
Create a project wich measures for example 3 signals, create a dataview with 3 views in, one for each signal,
save the project.
Then open that project again and in my case there is then just one Dataview with no more subviews anymore,
also there is no signal bounded to the view anymore, so in fact I'm left with just an empty Dataview...
I normally measure a number of signals at a time, 8, 12, or so and I define datviews (tabs) with the raw signals, then with the
filtered versions, then with fouriers for example, that is one of the main reasons We buyed SE because it gives us this nice
view on different signal aspects in different tabs, once the project is running no problems (exept for thos damn Y scale labels overwitten
off course) but when I save the project and reopen it again, from the 5 tabs with lets say 3 views each only one remains intact,
the other views seem to have lost their layout or subviews or what you call it....
I can reproduce this error every time I save and re-open a project... but one time if I have 3 tabs with dataviews it clears to views,
the other time it clears one... very strange.
What exactly is saved with each project? I do hope the layouts of the tabbed windows also? It is annoying to redefine the views
each time I open up a project (the essence of SE is just to be able to measure signals, save the project and two hours later be able to
just open the project again and measuring immediately or am I wrong? It is a loss of time if I have to "makeup" the views again
just by opening the same project again!)

EIM 4.3.1 More than 1 activity per IPTA agent

Does anybody know is it possible to get more than 1 current activity per IPTA agent? Seems EIM "Mail user max load" setting makes no effect on IPTA agents. May be there are some ICM or ICM script settings to accomplish this?
PS. IPTA agents are also handling voice calls.

I have not upgraded this particular customer who has EIM to 4.3 yet, still on 4.2(5) with ES5 - but I have had no trouble at all with agents having a number of concurrent tasks - in the US, we have that set to 20. We only use integrated queues (IPTA Skill Groups).
There is no setting in ICM for this - it inherits it from EIM.
The setting we use is on the Queue in EIM - max concurrent tasks. Once you set it for a given agent on 1 queue it applies to all queues.
Try that setting. I don't know the one you refer to.
