More Color Schemes For Zen Micro / Microph

Hey everybody, I think there should be more new color schemes for our products that we could download. That seem s like a kool idea. Maybe we could even have custom schemes.

Not a great idea for the Micro, the monochrome is fine, just the way it is. I can't speak for the MicroPhoto though.

Question about the new battery for zen micro/ zen microph

i just reacently noticed that creative has a new bettery the?Li-Ion Battery (830mAh) for ZEN MICROPHOTO/ ZEN MICR0 on there website they say it gives longer battery lifeand i was wondering how true this could be because i would like to get more than 6 to 8 hours out of my zen micro

The Zen MicroPhoto uses more power than the Zen Micro would, so it has a better battery. But you can use this battery with the Zen Micro and it should last longer than your original battery.

Is there a way to switch back to the old color scheme for the keypad? The new black-on-white color scheme is more difficult to see and use for the visually impaired.

Is there a way to switch back to the old color scheme for the keypad? After upgrading to ios 6, the keypad switched to a black-on-white color scheme. I have a severe visual impairment and found the previous white-on-black color scheme much easier to see and use.
The inverted colors option doesn’t make things look all that better. My dad, who does not have any serious vision problems, has put off upgrading his iphone because of the color scheme changes.

I have exactly the same concern. It seems it would be a simple fix for Apple to allow users to turn off the camera (and even the mic) while keeping FaceTime open -- especially now that it turns out FaceTime must remain open in order to send and receive iPhone calls on a Mac.
I like to think this new functionality of FaceTime will be baked into a future release of Yosemite, as the current setup has that not-quite-finished feel of a work in progress. In the meantime, there's nothing like a little piece of Post-It stuck over the camera to keep the NSA from watching your face as you type a post to the Apple Support Communities.

I am having many problems with color schemes
in 6i. Many characteristics of our
applications have chaged from 6 to 6i. For

If you are comfortable manually editing Registry/Preferences
and XML,
then try this:
1. Shutdown DW
2. Edit Configuration/CodeColoring/Colors.xml and do a global
change of
"#000000" (black) to "#FFFFFF" (white).
Note: be sure to edit Colors.xml in your User (not
Application)
Configuration folder. This TechNote explains the difference:

Also, search on "bgcolor" and change those as necessary.
3. (On Windows) Using regedit, go to:
\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Dreamweaver 8\Tag

\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver 9\Tag Colors
\\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Dreamweaver CS4\Tag

Change all "#000000" (black) values to "#FFFFFF" (white)
Change "Background Color" to "#000000"
Note: these colors may be represented as CSS shortcuts #000

Close regedit
4. Restart DW.
You may need to tweak a few more settings, but that should
get you most
of the way there. This can all be done as an extension, but I
am not
aware of anyone that has put one together.

The touch firmware is what I really want though! lol. Know what is better than a Zen Touch? A Zen Touch Photo/Video/5MP camera/Phone (not currently for sale)

What to do if new firmware for zen micro is not for you

Ok its pretty simple, takes long but it should work (never been tested)
Uninstall the new firmware (keep all your songs saved onto PC music library)Install the cd you were given with the zen micro.You'll have all your songs on your pc library ( i would reccomend clearing out you zen micro music library and just putting the pc music library songs on your zen micro from there) so just transfer all the files you want onto the zen micro and it should be running fine.please reply and tell me what happens.Zenmastertml

Balance is define as on date,
while transaction/P&L can define for perticular period date range.
Here, I guess you want to see balance as on 30.06.2011
and transaction for 01.06.2011 - 30.06.2011.
Am i right?
FYI, If you use 0BALANCE for any period, let say 01.06.2011 - 30.06.2011
then it will show balance for last day 30.06.2011
because its aggregation is SUM, LAST Value on time characteristics.

External charger for Zen Micro batt

I just got my new Zen Micro and so far it is the best looking mp3 player I have seen but I just hope (knock on wood) tha is doesn't run into any of the issues posted. The one thing that I thought was the best feature about the Zen Micro is that I can remove the battery from the unit but to really make it usefull I should be able to have one battery in the Zen MIcro while the other is charging. This way I can have non stop tunes. Is there an external battery charger for the Zen battery?
Also, how do I know if I have an older unit that had all the problems with the headphone jacks?
One more question, when I try to pause I sometimes have to pres the pause/play button two or three times. I have the touch pad setting to medium. Should I start to worry or is this normal.

There's no external charger. The low volume of sales will likely make it a high cost item, so Creative have presumably decided it's not worth it. If you really want you can always buy another player I'm guessing this won't be far off the likely cost of an external charger. There are some third party Lithium Ion chargers out there, but you need to have a special plate designed for the battery terminals. You'll have to Google to find them as I don't have the link to hand.
I find with pause that sometimes there's a delayed response, as if the player is busy. Wait a few seconds and try again, rather than say mashing the controls

...is a faulty file. When you download the application and open it, the language choice appears. However it won't let you choose any language, and so you cannot continue.
Anyone know what the story is here? Any remedies to this?

I'm pretty computer-literate so I have a good idea what I'm doing but it's just not working!
Basically, when the list of languages appears on the screen, it's as
if the list is just text instead of links.
The mouse doesn't react to the word "English", or "French" in anyway whatsoever.
Any more help would be hugely appreciated!

RIPING CD'S FOR ZEN MICRO (HELP!

I went to Windows Media Player 0 and Ripped Nelly's CD Suit for my Zen Micro, so it was all finished and I went into the Creative MediaSource Organizer to put it on. I went to import tracks, and clicked all the songs I wanted and hit "Continue" but nothing happened. I cant seem to figure out how to do this and i have read things all over. could someone please explain this to me. thanks
also, i have had NO probles yet with my zen micro and already have 50 songs on it (hey! i just got it wednesday, and have been busy, today i PLANNED on putting a ton more on.)

Petition for Zen Micro to have double-click capabil

I would like to submit a petition to have the Zen Micro have double-click capability. We all experience the annoyance of the sensitivity of the touch pad. It seems to response to any single click we do. Now, instead of having a single click, let?s have a double-click. Except for the volume control, let?s have every function, or most functions response with a double click. If we want to play, double click. If we want to go to the menu, double click. If we want to select an option, double click. If we want to select a window in the menu, double click.

What do people think? Any other suggestion regarding this? I hope people sign. I would love this option. I think it would allow me to select tracks, and control volume (among many other things) while the Micro still being in my pocket.

Also, is there a place I should send this to to have Creative read the petition?

It's not so much as making things idiotproof. That's why people put up petitions. It's to make things more convenient that makes the usage easier. It also adds options. People don't have to use it if they don't like. Personally, I like it because you wouldn't hit any button by accident, especially if it's in your pocket.

Painting expert for Zen Micro Ph

I bump my Zen micro photo aagainst a desk at work maybe alittle hard but not hard enough to damage the Hard dri've, However it did knock the paintoff of a /4" area on the bottom of the case (I thought it was plastic casing I guess not) any way can somebody recommend a good paint to re-paint it. Maybe this is a positi've experience (test) for the hard dri've that the paint will chip off esier then the hard dri've will be damaged with.

Go to the next paint shop and check out for a similar color. My player is white with this metalized look if I hold it into the sunlight. So maybe they have a matching color.
Or if you know a car painting garage you may ask there. Often they can help and give you a little bottle with paint for less money than you will spend for a can in a store.
And: don't forget to cover all other parts of your player with a sticky tape before you will spray or paint or whatever.

Which Media Explorer version do i need for Zen Micro 5gb with Firmware 2.20.

Same old story, been trying for hours and hours to transfer music onto the player. Searching forums for answers.

I have tried installing Creative Zen Micro Media Explorer Web Update (48.24 MB) but it doesn't recognise my player is plugged in.

Also tried installing Creative MediaSource Plugin for PlaysForSure devices (version .00.8) (23.98 MB) but Win Media Player 0 still doesn't recognise the player.

Should i bother installing software/drivers from the original CD i got? Or download them instead? Which do i need to download? Do i need to change the firmware?

I know these questions have been asked thousands of times, but all the answers i have read don't seem to be doing the trick.

Hurrah, i FINALLY got it working.
Installed drivers/software from original cd.
Downloaded/installed the Creative MediaSource Plugin for PlaysForSure devices (version .00.8) (23.98 MB) and managed to get the 'sync' feature working in WMP0.
Downloaded/installed Creative Zen Micro Media Explorer Web Update (48.24 MB) but it wasn't detecting my Zen.
Went into Device Manager and firstly uninstalled the MTP Device under Windows Portable Devices.
Connected Zen again, went into Device Manager again, right clicked on the MTP device and clicked on Update Driver.
The Zen Micro Media Explorer Web Update then detected my device and installed.

In Japan, the remote comes with the Zen Micro (still doesn't justify the $80 dollar price increase!!). I tried using the remote and found it to be a waste. I wouldn't bother buying it. When I am wearing a jacket I put the Micro in my jacket breast or side pocket. When I am not wearing a jacket, I use the case and belt clip.
Unless you make massi'vely long playlists and would thus keep the Micro in your bag for LONG periods of time, the remote is essentially useless. It only has volume, puase, play, and next track controls, and no display of course.
Just my thoughts on the remote. The clip sucks on the remote too. It's too small to clip to the strap on my bag securely.

i'm most likely gonna buy the zen micro tonight. i figure that it is creative's new "flagship" model so that means its prob. gonna get the most firmware, acc., and most support. if anyone has a reason i shouldnt get it let me know, i've read all the stuff about freezes and everything, but i'm sure by christmas there will be plenty of firmware for all these probs. hopefully lol. also, are there any 3rd party accessories for the micro, like skins or cases or anything? any new firmware about to be realeased?
