  • Are there any Chinese-speaking salesperson in Apple Stores in the Los Angeles area?

My friend's mother from China is coming to visit her in the Los Angeles area. She would be interested in trying out the new iPad, but she doesn't speak English. Are there any Chinese-speaking salesperson in Apple Stores in the Los Angeles area?

    RaidenHC wrote:
Yes I was hoping there would be Chinese users here who were pleasantly surprised to have met with such salesperson in the stores.
While I suppose someone may respond, as previously suggested, contact the Apple Store in LA. You are far more likely to get accurate information that way as opposed to a post here.

  • Novice CS5 Dreamweaver User Needs Help!

I have used Dreamweaber MX 2004 to a limited extent to build some very basic web sites.  I have just upgraded to CS5 and come across the AP Elements.
If I build a page using tables then when I display the results in the browser the image (table) is always in the middle of the screen and adjusts accordingly when the browser window size is changed.  If I build build a page using an AP element the this is always fixed in position on the screen and rolls off the edge if the browser window is made smaller.  Is there a way os getting the AP element to react the same way as a table.  Perhaps I'm using the AP elements in the wrong context?
    Thanks

Don't use APDivs as a primary layout method.    Here's why:

  • Why is my LTE speed so slow on my iPhone 6.  I've tried multiple locations in Los Angeles and get ~7 meg. download.  A friends iPhone 6 on AT

LTE download and upload speeds are slow on my iPhone 6.  I also tried this on a co-workers iPhone 6 and got the same results, approximately 7 meg download.  A friend with an iPhone 6 on AT&T is getting ~35 meg download.  Is there something wrong with the network.  I've tried this in 5 different areas in Los Angeles.

Are you on band 13 or band 4?  13 is the original LTE band and remains relatively congested. Band 4 is the XLTE band and is less congested and has higher overall potential bandwidth (15 MHz vs 10 MHz). Even so, 7 Mbps is more than enough for doing stuff on your phone and is not considered slow.
    To check band,
    dial *3001#12345#*
    select serving cell info
frequency band will say 13 or 4
FInd an area with band 4 and retest.

  • No Data in Downtown Los Angeles

For the last 6 months or so, I have been experiencing 0 data in Downtown Los Angeles.  Specifically on 9th and Grand.  I have reported it three times and have not heard of any solution yet.  I did my own researching here in our building and I found out that 8 other people at my work are experiencing low to zero data in our bldg.  My supervisor and Director both reported the same issue, and we have not heard of anything yet.  I have been paying the same amount when I can't even receive any imessages, send any imessages, emails, or even log in into anything from my phone.  They should at least cut me some slack on the bill!  I work 9-7:30 weekly, and no data from 9-7:30! Has anyone else experience this in the downtown los angeles area? SOLUTION PLEASE!!!!

This is happening to me too.  About two weeks ago LTE just dropped off.  Here's the results of my speed tests this week:
    Mon 8/18 - 0.46 Down, 5.89 Up (culver city)
    Mon 8/18 - 0.15 Down, 1.24 Up (LAX)
    Tue 8/19 - 0.18 Down, 6.75 Up (culver city)
    Tue 8/19 - 0.32 Down, 7.25 Up (LAX)
    Wed 8/20 - 1.2 Down, 8.76 Up (culver city)
    Wed 8/20 - 0.54 Down, 4.87 Up (LAX)
    Thu 8/21 - 0.37 Down, 7.27 Up (culver city)
I'm so glad I found this thread because customer service immediately thinks its my phone.  They told me to clear my browser history, what the hell??  Where can I go to get a serious answer?
I have an iPhone5 running iOS 6.1.4.  My wife is on an iPhone5s running iOS 7.1.2 and she is experiencing the same issues.

  • Map Live Wallpaper -How do I select Los Angeles?

Ok, I finally figured out that a 2 fingers tap works as a zoom out function; But how in the world do I select the Los Angeles area?
    This app is beyond frustrating.

No sarcasm taken. I was just messing around, because that was such an easy fix.
To be specific about the traffic issue; I'm specifically talking about using the Google Map as the Live Map Wallpaper. Or whatever that map is.
I have the function set to display the traffic. However it's not very accurate.
Anyway, Now that I have the map set to Los Angeles, why does the map on the Live Wallpaper only display the city where my billing address is located?
When I traveled approximately 30 miles away, the map doesn't change.
If that's not a function that supposed to occur, then where do I go to change locations?
I'm asking because I spend a lot of time at another residence that is approximately 40 miles away from my billing address.
Thanks for your time. Much appreciated!!!

  • I need help... Not a huge Dreamweaver User

I hope this makes sense! Bear with me... I'm not a big Dreamweaver user. I purchased custom Social Media Icons to put on my website in the footer. I thought I could possibly stumble my way through the code in Dreamweaver and do this myself. Any help would be greatly appreciated! When I export the file as HTML that I can paste into my site, the links are there but the images are not? Could someone maybe explain what I'm doing wrong? I even tried uploading the images to my site and then pasting the code, thinking maybe that was the route to go but it ends up with the pictures Icons there and then the table with question marks/links underneath. Help! Maybe point me in the direction of a good tutorial? Thank you, thank you!
Here's my site so that you can see what is happening: www.savvyshots.net

Surprisingly, lol, I somewhat have learned Image Maps this evening.   Would you care to take a look at this code and help me figure out one last problem? When I paste the code into my website... the links aren't linking to Facebook, Twitter, etc. ? It changes the address in the nav bar to www.savvyshots.net/#http://www.facebook.com/savvyshots   Grrrr... I know I've left something out. Could it be the <a> tag ? Just not sure where to place it.
