I can't transfer music.. the little ipod icon doesn't show up in the itunes. What do I do? There is nothing on the screen still, but the light works, and I can still hear clicking. Help.
Please stay with one of your other two threads on your iPod problems. Otherwise, people are going to have to go over the same steps with you that you've already tried, which will just waste everyone's time, yours and theirs.

That phone was replaced by Apple or an AASP and was not returned to Apple as it should have been, or it was stolen from Apple or somewhere in the supply chain.
You can not get support from Apple for that phone.
Return it to wherever you got it and get your money back. -
I can't download Mountain Lion I keep getting a message stating, "Re product distribution file could not be verified, it may be damaged or was not signed". I have tried re-downloading Lion combo 10.7.4 but no good, any more ideas please.
Had the same problem and could solve it. Do you have any Virusscanner software running like for example VirusBarrier ?
The following did the trick for me: I disabled my Virusscanner software and afterwards I could download.
Worst come to worse : delete your security software, reboot and downlaod afterwards. Re-install deleted
software after Mountain Lion has been installed.

This year, the government has canceled the daylight saving time , that's why happening this problem to me so I changed the time zone in iPhone from Cairo,Egypt (GMT+2 with daylight saving) to Harare,Zimbabwe (GMT+2 without daylight saving , no change in time from summer & winter) & now working good, no change in time after sync. , But it's very stupid thing from apple that they didn't add an option in time setting to enable or disable the daylight saving time like any other mobile.

You don't say what your version of Windows you have. Assuming XP, go to Start | Run, type DXDIAG and click OK. Click the Sound tab and run the tests to eliminate a hardware problem first of all. If you don't hear anything, check your cables first of all. Also make sure "Mute" isn't checkmarked in your sound setup. You'll find that in Windows Control Panel.
Which browser do you use? If you have Firefox 4, sign up to the HTML5 trial @ http://www.youtube.com/html5
HTML5 is the latest video standard and doesn't require Flash player. Google is in the process of converting all its files to work with the new format. It may solve you problem. If you don't have Firefox 4, you can get it from here: http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/
IE8 doesn't support HTML5.
To clean out your temp files, go to Start | Run, type: CLEANMGR and click OK. Click OK again to start the utility. Tick all the boxes except "Compress old files" because the latter takes too long, and then click OK. You can run this utility any time you wish by the way.
The above steps will hopefully fix your problem. If not, post here again please. -
Spacing in between choices......there should be padding options...more formatting please
I have a survey that has multiple check box choices.......after deploying the form....it's way too tight and the end users have been complaining about how it looks. There apparently is no option or control to override or fix. Please incorporate into the forms as an option.

Port forwarding - some more clarity please
I have set up port forwarding in the past and never had the problems that I am currently experiencing with HH4 with two ip cams. It would be great if there were some simple rules to follow - and I do appreciate the efforts of people on this forum but I am still confused. Can anyone answer the following
1 - there is an option to set up Dynammic DNS at advanced/broadband/dynamic DNS. Can I setup two cameras (one using No-ip the other using an embeded foscam DN) using this option?
2 - Within the advanced/firewall/port forwarding section I can allocate a port. I have allocated 8090 for camera 1 and 8095 for camera 2. When I checked my ports both were "timed out" - what causes that.
3 - I read on one of the posts that the ports should be outside of the allocated DNS range - can anyone tell me what the HH4 allocated DNS range is and are any other port numbers to be avoided - I was using 1000 as a port and this seemed to have problems
4 - Does a port have to be allocated for the camera set up on question 1 above (I am assuming yes but I am having so many problems I need to check every step!).
5 - I want to access the cameras from several different phones, tablets laptops etc, also my son will want access and possibly others - so if more than one person tries to access the same IP cam will one fail or is the port forwarding port shared? Or do I need to add another setting somewhere to allow multiple access to the same port.
6 - I would like to have a permanent display on my Google TV - If I just use the local IP address of the camera will that block all other users including those on the home network and external.
It would be great to just get the cameras working without them stopping every few days.I should start this off with a couple of quick caveats: I've never had to use DynDNS, so can't advise with regard to that and have never used a HH4, but have used and helped to set up on a Business Hub 3 which is very similar firmware. With that in mind:
2/ The timing out on your checks normally, in my experience, means that the firewall is passing the information, but the device isn't responding in time. If you try a port check using www.subnetonline.com, you normally get on of 3 responses, open, error 110 which is the connection timing out and 111 which is connection refused. 111 is normally the firewall bouncing the scan. You could try doing a port check, then go to the event log on the router and see if it has a filter for firewall. If so, you could take a look on there to see if it is showing the packet being passed. If it is, then normally that would indicate that it is the device that needs looking at rather than the router.
3/ The devices, for a fixed internal address, should be outside the DHCP range, the range of addresses that the router hands out dynamically. The range on the HH 4 is, I believe, 192.168.1.64-.1.253. As a result, fixing an address to a device, you would have the range .1.1-.1.63 available. If you do set the address on the device, please make sure that the gateway address is 192.168.1.254. In my experience, a lot of cameras seem to have .1.1 as a default for that, which would make a port check fail.
4/ Yes, you would need ports forwarding for both devices.
5/ Again, I go back to my caveats, but I have had multiple people, on multiple sites and devices, all accessing a device that I have set port forwarding up for. This has included cameras as well as storage devices, for example, and it has worked fine with no additional settings.
6/I can't speak specifically to the to Google TV, but having something permanently accessing on an internal address, whcih as you are aware doesn;t use port forwarding, should have absolutely no effect on something accessing from externally.
Apologies I couldn't comment on the DynDNS or specifically to the HH4, but someone with a little more experience of both of those should be able to add to my mutterings.

I got Windows 10 a while ago, but I got distracted and forgot about it for a while, and I have tried to update it from build 9841 it just wouldn't do it. I tried the fbl_release already and it didn't work. PLEASE HELP ONLY 10 MORE DAYS!!

If you did download the 10041 ISO, what method did you use to install ?
In case you don't know, your have 2 options :
1. Burn the ISO to a bootable DVD or an USB with at least 4 GB capacity, and then use it to do a clean install.
2. Just go to the folder where the downloaded ISO is kept > right click at it > click Mount > click Setup.exe.
The system will start installing and you can keep your personal files and settings. You might have to reinstall the 3rd party programs.
***** After you have build 10041 installed, go to Settings > Update & Recovery > right side, click Advanced options > under Choose how preview builds are installed, change from Fast to Slow.
Why change to Slow ring ?
Microsoft is trying to fix the slow install of the current build 10049. They are unable to find a solution.
Stay in Slow ring until MS can figure out how to fix that. -
