Reading Header data in a SOAP Envelope for SOAP Sender Adapter
Hello All,
Am using a SOAP sender adapter and want to use the data inside the SOAP Header for some routing purpose(extended receiver determination). Any SOAP message coming into XI will look something like below. But XI will pass the contents of <SOAP-ENV:Body> to Payload and <SOAP-ENV:Header> to the SOAP Header category you can see that in SXMB_MONI.
Is there a way to read the data in my SOAP Header to be later used in my extended receiver determination.

but they were not getting any response back from XI and the sending system kept resending the message.. may be it was acting like a HTTP post.
The method that is used by the native SOAP Adapter is always HTTP Post. Not sure why you are not getting a response, have you checked the outbound firewall of the sending party or the inbound firewall of XI? To which SOAP URL are you sending to?

i know i can key sql statement in the "Query SQL Statement" in the jdbc send adapter.but i dont know how to use variables in the sql statement.
i mean, for example, the sql statement is "SELECT * FROM t_student WHERE READFLAG = 0", but now i wanna instead of "0"(the value of the READFLAG) using a variable.
and if i can use a variable to replace the "0"(the value of the READFLAG above sql statement), then how can i send a value to the variable??

How to get more information regarding a service call
So are all of your services working now?
Here are the gory details. This is how I described the problem when I called for service: 'I am a u-verse customer. I have TV, internet and phone. There was an outage of all services for 15 hours. Voice and TV returned. But not my broadband internet connection.' Tech arrived. Used his i-pad and says internet is 'working'. I tell him my computer, tablet, etc etc will not connect. He says he is writing down that internet works. My devices not his concern he says. Well OK I say forget my devices but I want ALL the TV channels that are part of my u-verse package to work before you leave. He says 'but TV is working'. I say no, this is not true unless ALL the channels I pay for are working, --please check this channel (interactive Country Deep--530 in my channel lineup). He says oh that channel is probably not part of your package. Excuse me I say. I pay over $200 a month for my services and U300 is my package and it most certainly includes the Country Deep channel which is not working (it is spinning, spinning) and which I do watch. I know from the user perspective that there is a difference between the Country Deep channel which loads data before it plays and the 'normal' channels. He looks at me like I have two heads. However I felt quite certain that if he took care of the problem with that interactive channel then I would be able to get all my devices to work. He threatened to depart because I was not listening to him. However he was not listening to me either. He would not 'own' that there was any u-verse problem. Since this did not make sense to me and I had already invested at least eight hours of my life attempting to get help I was frustrated and I will certainly confess to not 'listening' to him very well. Unfortunately I then had to leave and go to work. He left no information about what was done and no information with the person I left in charge but it took over 4 hours and apparently a number phone calls to other people. And I do know he swapped out my DVR because I lost all recordings but that is all I know. I tried to look online at the workorder but no further information was available.

Wanted to change my playlists and music, so went to >settings>music>delete data. So now, within the usage menu, the "music" shows "no data". But, when I open the Music app, it still shows the list of music that was supposedly deleted. And the weird thing is, it is only the list. There is no content. No actual music. How do I get rid of this lists and get it to a clean slate???

Need more information regarding RAW JPEG pairs
I understand the importing of RAW+JPEG pair options. What I am having difficulty finding in any forum or user manual is the workflow using such pairs after the import.
If I import a R+J pair with RAW as original, there is an "R" icon in the viewer on that photo. Is the image displayed (version 1) Aperture's rendering of the RAW file? Or is it the JPEG that goes along with it? If I wanted to compare the JPEG to the RAW, how would I do that? If I created a new version from the original and then compared version 1 and version 2, what would I be looking at?My first question is why are you using a Raw&JPG pair workflow? In my experience it is very rarely needed and adds a lot of complexity to the setup.
Now to answer your questions:
The image displayed in the viewer is always a full resolution interpretation of the current master. If the raw file is the master then the image is based on it. If the JPG is master then the image in the viewer is based on it.
There is no direct way to compare one master to the other master. Only one master can be viewed at a time. However versions made off of one of the masters will always be made off that master.
So if the Raw is the current master and you create a version from it that version is based on the Raw master. Now if you select the JPG to be current master a version is made off of it and the other version you created is still based on the Raw master.
You can prove this to yourself by looking at the filename of each. When you select the version made from the Raw the filename extension will show the Raw extension for your camera. When you select the JPG the filename extension will end in jpg.
So now on to how to compare the images side by side:
For whichever type is the current master select it and do a Photos->New Version from Master. Remember a version made from a master, before any adjustments are made to the version, will be identical to the master.
Now switch masters. A version is created from this master and again as no adjustments were applied to it will look exactly like the master.
These two images are then the Raw and the JPG side-by-side. -
More information regarding HTTP Submit button

I am trying to learn the fucntionalities of a HTTP Submit button . I have designed a simple form which contains only one text field which will be used to enter the UserID .After entering the User ID the user has to click on the submit button . In the URL I have given the address of the server which is on another system . I have created a simple table in MySQL 5 which contains only one column as the UserID.I have no IIS installed in my system . So after clicking the submit button the data is not upadted in the table . And some weird results are shown . I have not used any data binding here . I am totally confused . What should I do ?? Any suggestions ??

Bibhu .Well, if you can surf to http://localhost, it means you already have a webserver running. Otherwise, you will have to install one. There's a variety of options besides IIS: Apache and Lighthttp are both free and open-source.

If the same website is opening each time you launch a browser (Safari?) hold down the shift key as you launch to prevent previous pages from opening.
Have a look at your settings in Safari > Preferences. Especially General and Privacy.
Reset Safari to remove cookies and other stored data.

Have a look at your settings in System Preferences > Security & Privacy.

Catch Soap fault in HTTP send adapter port
Hi All,
I am using BizTalk HTTP adapter to call webserice . But HTTP send port is returning HTTP 500 internal server error and couldn't show the actual soap fault which webserice is returning (I confirmed that the webservice is returning the soap fault by using
WCF port).
I gone through the link http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa561642(BTS.20).aspx
But don't know the exact steps to subscribe NACK.
Please anybody can guide me to subscribe NACK.

Also ensure you have proper exception handling around sending request to web service.
I understand that you have seen SOAP fault being returned when you used WCF port. But during the development phase, I would use tools like Fiddler to see the message packets
exchanged between BizTalk and Web service. This would shed some lights on whether received message is a SOAF fault or HTTP-500 error.
Using BizTalk with Fiddler (Though this article used WCF adapter for demonstrating
the Fiddler usage, this also applies to HTTP adapter)

Error with Do Not use SOAP envelope
All,
I used the do not send SOAP envelope option in the SOAP receiver adapter.
Instead of XSLT, I used JAVA mapping to create the entire SOAP message ( Am more comfortable with Java and this is just a trial) , and this is the output of my java mapping with the SOAP envelope created,

Tried various permutations~~ The only new error / progress seems to be for this,
SOAPAction "http://www.webserviceX.NET/GetQuote"
This is giving me an error ,

Also, tried by adding the Colon after SOAPAction,

SOAP Adapter: DO not use soap envelope

I have a scenario, which calls a webservice from my ABAP Proxies, the twist in this is that SOAP request expects license info into the header of SOAP envelope, I could achive this by XSLT mapping in the receiver SOAP adapter I selected the option "Do not use SOAP envelope" and could do the call.
Due to this the response received from the webservice is treated as payload, as shown below...

I am sorry for replying in so late, was busy with some projects.
I got few mails and this post is cathing up again, so thought of giving the solution I followed without any adapter module or anything, simple plain XSLT mapping.
<u><b>Integration Repository</b></u>
1. Created data type and message type for Outbound Interface
2. Imported the WSDL
3. Created an XSD out of the sample response I got by calling the WSDL (this you can do from any tool available, i used the strikeiron website), pls refer below to see the XSD below, and you will have to use the message type envelope from it.
4. Most Important step, created 2 XSLT mappings, one for request and the other for response., Pls refer below for both these mappings.
5. did the interface mapping

Generating SOAP Envelope when DO NOT USE ENVELOPE option is marked
My scenario: SPROXY => XI => 3rdParty WebService. Communication is synchronous. I've a problem with soap envelope. It is required by webservice, but when I use standard soap envelope generated by SAP I've a problem with receiving response from webservice.
So I want to create my own envelope. For this reason I've used DO NOT USE SOAP ENVELOPE option. Now the challenge comes. How can I create my own soap envelope?
Do you have any working example? Soap envelope should be added to message send from XI to 3rdParty WebService.

After that request WebService response is correct.
You can find such differences (except Content-length which is a result of XML message formatting) in those two headers:
- for first is used HTTP 1.0 protocol for later 1.1
- in SAP header an info about attachment is added
After a lot of test I thing that those attachment info in header of HTTP is causing a problem. So I want to use DO NOT USE SOAP ENVELOPE option to generate HTTP header without Content-Disposition and generate SOAP Envelope manually. -

The bigger question is, what are you going to do with the data in the response. As the example above alludes too, you can actually parse the entire WS response with one SQL statement and return the results as one or more rows. Will you be performing PL/SQL logic on the returned results or will you simply be INSERTing them into the database for something else to use? -
Use of variable header XHeaderName1 in SOAP sender adapter

I have a doubt regarding the use of adapter-specific attributes in SOAP sender adapter. In specific:
the SOAP client should be able to pass a variable with the SOAP request (XHeaderName1 header variable) and this should be available in mapping (Dynamic configuration)
I've already checked the [help page|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/fc/5ad93f130f9215e10000000a155106/frameset.htm] but it seems I'm doing something wrong.
I tried with those settings in SOAP adapter configuration:

Could you give a bit more detail on how you handled the SOAP message yourself.
I have a similar issue. I am consuming a non SAP Web Service which requires a non-standard token element to be passed back. I have created a an RFC sender to SOAP reciever scenario which works fine for the inital logon and returns the token it expects in the follow up messages.
At present I'm at a loss so your help would be much appreciated. We have got round the immediate issue by creating and sending the SOAP message directly from SAP WAS.
Could we use the XI Adapter and ABAP proxy in a similar way?
