More Information??? Specifically Language
Don't know where else to put this request for additional "feature" for iTunes.
I just upgraded to iTunes 5 and like the lyrics feature - I will definitely be using it ...
But I have another bit of information that I would like to see added to the song's metafile - Language.
I am from Singapore and we are exposed to songs in many different languages - eg. Chinese (Mandarin), Taiwanese (aka Fukien or Hokkien), Japanese, Korean, English, French (a la Celine Dion) & the list goes on.
To make matters worse, some songs are sung in two languages - especially Chinese and Cantonese versions of a popular movie theme song. The easy workaround is to add a code - like (c) for Cantonese, for Italian, or (m) for Mandarin - against the song title, but it is so crude. It should be real easy for the Genius' at Apple to add one more field. This will definitely be a real bonus for people who don't just listen to one language (ie. the US of A).
OK - if there are any other suggestions I'll be happy to hear them.
Cheers!
Ouch!!! I will definitely say that I am sorry for the sweeping generallization of my comment ...
For anyone who has taken offence to my posting that the US of A is a "mono-culture" - I am SINCERELY sorry.
Just for your reference, I studied and worked in the US (NJ specifically) for almost 9 years. I agree that there are many cultures and ethnicity that are scattered (& concentrated) around the country.
My gripe is as follows - not just for Apple, but for all software manufacturers throughout the world. Consideration from the onset for multiple language (display and input) is very important.
The main reason I started using the iPod is that it is multi-lingual ready. I was an ardent supporter of the Creative Jukebox (being a Singaporean company) but was quickly put off by its inability to read Unicode.
Similarly - I switched from WinAmp to iTunes was for the sole reason that iTunes did not need a separate plug-in to recognize Korean, Chinese (Simplified & Traditional), Japanese, French .... languages.
The other side of it is that many "standards" are biased towards using the English language as a standard of communicating and documenting. This is due to the natural realization that it is a very common language (but incidentally not the most spoken, written &etc).
But I digress - as you stated - this is neither a political nor a cultural forum. The wonderful thing about the Mac is that it transcends these boundaries. I am a Switcher - having used and am still using Windows. But the issue is why would Apple have been such a hit with the Japanese since its inception while the others have taken the path of mass appeal.
So now I stand down from my soap box.
Again - for those who have taken offence to my statement - my apologies!

Posted the entire text from the error window, when trying to update, using the normal NON-TECHIE way to update any and all Adobe CC products, via the Creative Cloud updater installed when Adobe Creative Cloud subscription was purchased when first offered.
The following occurs, ad nauseam:
There was a problem updating InDesign CC
For more information see the specific error below.
Update Failed
Download error. Press Retry to try again or contact customer support.(49)
Here's the crux of my frustration:
(1) Customer Service is NOT contact-able, to receive LIVE help.
(2) There is NO way for me to mitigate this "Download error", being a student learning InDesign, and NOT in any way capable of tweaking folders/files here and there.
Therefore, the real question:
Given that a significant number of subscribers are having the above referenced issue with attempting to download the current update for InDesign, WHAT ARE WE SUPPOSED TO DO, in order to get our contractually paid-for updates to our legally and contractually paid-for Adobe software, specifically in my case, InDesgin's current update?
Please, NO TECHNICAL mumbo-jumbo which most likely will cause the overwhelming majority of users, like me, to seriously corrupt their computer files, but rather an honest, straightforward "what to do" from real CS/Engineers working for Adobe, as to how to FIX this issue, period.
===========================================================
UPDATE:
Here is a way in which I think I was able to "update" my InDesign CC application:
(1) Sign-In to your Adobe Account
https://www.adobe.com/
(2) Click on the MENU icon
(3) Click on the product InDesign icon
Your browser should display the page for Adobe InDesign CC
https://www.adobe.com/products/indesign.html?promoid=KLXLU
(4) Click on the Download icon,
Your browser should now display the page to download InDesign,
https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/indesign
(5) a Pop-Up window should open, and display:
Launch Application
This link needs to be opened with an application.
with the first option to select being the CreativeCloud(URIHandler)
(5) Select this application and click OK.
What happened when I followed steps (1) thorugh (5) is that:
(a) InDesign CC(2014) was installed,
(b) InDesign CC, updated, and then
(c) InDesign CC(2014), also updated.
Why this all worked, is a mystery to me.
Looks like a separate, "new" version of InDesign, InDesign CC(2014), was installed, the existing "old" InDesign was updated, and then the newly installed Indesign CC(2014) was further updated.
A BIT MORE, when I launched my InDesign CC app, and checked to see if there were Updates Available, there in fact was an Adobe InDesign CC 64 bit (9.2.2) update.
I clicked on UPDATE and my "old" InDesign CC app was "successfully updated."
FURTHER INFO: I may have neglected to list some important info ... OS: Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center, 64-bit
Confused, I am able to launch BOTH of these apps, and hopefully I may use one of these versions of the InDesign CC app, to do some InDesign work.
Will keep y'all posted!

Dear Technet,
Windows could not start the Cluster Service on Local computer. For more information, review the System Event Log. If this is a non-Microsoft service, contact the service vendor, and refer to service-specific error code 2.
My cluster suddenly went disappear. and tried to restart the cluster service. When trying to restart service this above mention error comes up.
even i tried to remove the cluster through power-shell still couldn't happen because of cluster service not running.
Help me please.. thank you.
Regards
ShamilHi,
Could you confirm which account when you start the cluster service? The Cluster service is a service that requires a domain user account.
The server cluster Setup program changes the local security policy for this account by granting a set of user rights to the account. Additionally, this account is made a member
of the local Administrators group.
If one or more of these user rights are missing, the Cluster service may stop immediately during startup or later, depending on when the Cluster service requires the particular
user right.
Hope this helps.

Window Update's actualizations "More information" language
I have polish language version of Windows 7, so when I go to "Windows update", choose one of available actualizations and click "Więcej informacji" ( "More informations" ) link in lower right part of the window, the page opened
is in polish language.
And this is the problem.
Pages opened this way are usually (or always?) machine-translated on polish, which are rather poor translations, thus I must to scroll down the whole page and find link to the original article.
I can do this twice or thrice, but this is just annoying and troublesome to do this almost every time.
How can I change default language of pages opened through Windows Update? (from polish to english)
Edit: I didn't know where to post this question, thus if it is in wrong sub-forum and I should repost it somewhere else, please, advice me where I should do this :)I'd ask them over here.

Unable to load Facebook on MBP in any browser - looking for more information
I have searched the Internet far and wide trying to figure out what is wrong, but every suggestion I have tried has failed. So here is my question:
Last night, I turned on my MBP and tried to log onto Facebook. I use Google Chrome as my default browser. Chrome was unable to connect to www.facebook.com. I tried in Safari also with no luck. Facebook seems to be the only web site I cannot connect to. Over the same wifi connection, I was able to connect to Facebook from my home PC, my iPad, and my iPhone (the actual web site and thru the app).
This morning, I brought my MBP to work to try again. Same problem. I cannot access Facebook from my MBP, but I can from my work PC and my other iOS devices. I even tried turning Personal Hotspot on my iPad and connected my MBP to that. Still no luck.
Based on everything I've read online, I've done many things to try to resolve this. I've cleared my cache and cookies, I've rebooted my MBP several times, I've flushed my DNS. I've even tried using Open DNS. I even tried some of the more ridiculous sounding ideas, like changing the date on my MBP. I am currently running Sophos in hopes that maybe the reason this is happening is because of some malware or trojan or something. The only thing I HAVEN'T done yet is completely reinstalled Mountain Lion. Honestly, I would rather avoid having to try this approach, as it seems that is a slightly extreme approach to fixing what should be a relatively straightforward problem to diagnose.
I've been racking my brain, trying to think of any updates I could have done in the last day or two that might have caused this very specific problem. According to System Information, the last set of updates I probably made right before this problem manifested were for Microsoft Office. I'm showing "Office 2011 14.2.5 Update", "Microsoft Error Reporting for Mac", and the very cryptic sounding "Plugin" as all having been installed yesterday. Based on the times each was installed, "Plugin" was not installed with the Office updates, so I'm wondering if maybe that is the culprit. Unfortunately, I have no more information than that.
I guess what I'm looking for are ideas on how I can better diagnose what is going on. I've tried the solutions people have posted online to no avail. If I knew what was happening behind the scenes, that might help me figure out what I really need to do to get this working again, before I'm forced to resort to a reinstall of Mountain Lion that may or may not even resolve this issue. If anyone has better ideas on what could be wrong or ways in which I can get more information to better diagnose this problem, please post them here. Thank you!I didn't think reinstalling was gonna do me any good except for getting rid of every single thing I have ever installed since getting this MBP. I'm thinking it has to be something that is on my computer causing this, especially since it only affects my ability to get to this one site and I only started seeing this problem yesterday.
So, I went ahead and disabled all my Chrome extensions and I don't have any Safari extensions at all. That didn't fix my issue.
I've been trying to run Sophos on here, thinking that maybe I've got a Trojan or some kind of malware, but it never seems to finish a full scan of my hard drive. That "Plugin" that I mentioned above has me very suspicious, except that whatever that is, it's been on my computer since basically when I first got it. Maybe it's malicious, or maybe it's just a poorly named piece of software. In any case, it got updated last night around 11pm, about the same time I noticed my problem. After trying everything I have, it's hard for me to overlook that as coincidence.
But, where do I go to gain more information about what that could be? I should mention that this MBP is basically my first Apple computer. I've been a PC guy (still am mostly) forever, but I finally dove in and got a Mac to start iOS development. So I'm sure there are ways to get more information than I am currently aware of.
Also, apologies if I posted this in the wrong forum. -

Hi,
We are facing a very strange issue on a SharePoint Publishing portal. Domain users (contribute level access) have access to document libraries under specific sub sites. Every morning if they try to access the document library pages, users complain about "Access Denied" issue on document library page. But if a SP Farm admin account login on site, and browse to document library page, access denied issue seems to disappear for end users also. For whole day it works fine. But next day access denied error occurs again. I am not sure why this is happening. I have looked into Event Log and SharePoint Logs, found following information useful, but not sure what to do next.
Please help.

Pryank Rohilla
MCTS, MCADHi pryank,
From the log, it seems that the users don’t have permission on this page:
/Projects/LFB/03 Bid Stage 1/Forms/AllItems.aspx
Does the sub site have unique permission instead of inheriting permission from the parent site? If no, you need to make the sub site to inherit permission from the site collection so that master page also inherits the right. If this is not allowed in your organization, please go to “Site Actions”à “Site Settings” à “Master Pages and Page Layouts” to give users permissions on this document library.
Hope this helps.

16 items could not be synced. See Itunes for more information
I restored my iPhone 3GS from a iCloud backup.
Now when my iPhone gets restored, i'm unable to get my most recent purchared songs back on my iPhone i get the message: "16 items could not be synced. See iTunes for more information". When I look to the playlist in iTunes, the songs that couldn't be synced with my iPhone are greyed out and have the sync icon next to them (see screenshot).
Is there a solution to this problem except repurchasing those specific songs in iTunes?Great find by the both of you but please allow me to add my twist. I receive the same error message. Yet only every other day or so & for only 1 item. But unlike how the error was discovered in this fix, I can find nothing like this in iTunes. Again, it comes & goes & I really haven't added or taken anything away other than some Outlook appt.'s Idea's?? Thanks!

Where can i find more information about using or nesting formulas
where can i find more information about using or nesting formulas
I am not aware there is a resource specific to nesting functions. this comes from understanding each function (or at least the description in the function help).
a great resource is the function reference which you can see by typing the "=" sign in any cell:
the important thing to note is:
1) what are the inputs to the function and
2) what does the function return (the output)
the if() function (listed above) takes three inputs and returns one output. These forums are a great resource! -

im looking for more information about what chords have been sampled for use in the exs24 "chords" sampler instruments and more specifically wether they're major/minor and with 7ths,9ths,11ths etc. i know this could be worked out with someone with the skill to do it but unforunately that's not me. It'd be convienient if information like this was included somewhere in the documentation like it is with most other commercial sample packs.
Don't post order information or other personal information here. We're all just fellow users here - you are not communicating with Apple when you post here - and so posting such information just risks your privacy. I've asked the Hosts to remove all the private information from your post.
The serial number was included in the box ARD came in; the Apple Store will not have a record of it. If you've lost the serial number, you'll need to purchase a new copy of ARD, probably a good idea anyway since 2.2 won't run on any version of Mac OS X since, if memory serves, 10.4. It's a lot cheaper through the Mac App Store than it was back when you first purchased.

More information about additional human workflow task methods needed
The typical human workflow task only uses the initiate method of the Task service, although there are many methods available. I would like to have my BPEL process reinitiate or renew a task if not completed properly or not approved by a separate task outcome, but am running into difficulties getting it working properly.
Where can I get more information on how to use the additional methods, or specifically how to re-assign a task that was already completed to the same user to re-complete?Here is the error in the BPEL domain log file. To reproduce this, I initially had 2 separate tasks. I then changed the second one to call reinitiateTask instead of initiateTask, and changed all variables and paths appropriately. I changed the second tasks Assign activities to perform a copy operation of the first task results global variable into the reinitiateTask local variable, then copied the URI path to the second task file so it would force it to use the second task metadata, then copied over the title so the task would display appropriately for the manager, and this is what resulted:
