More landscape apps on the iphone
Not sure if this has been discussed, but it would be really useful for more landscape apps and even a landscape home screen.
I have my iPhone in the car 90 of time its in use and its in landscape for my satnav as its easier to see.
Id really like to leave it in landscape and still be able to use/see it without constantly having to switch it back and forth...

I backed up my iphone 4 and did an upgrade and changed my Apple ID and password but my phone has not recognised the new ID to upgrade my apps via the iphone. How do I get rid of the old Apple ID when it comes to upgrading apps.
I have been into setting>store and signed out and signed back in and it still asks for old ID and password.Everything you've had up to now has been tied to your old Apple ID. You cannot switch it over to a new Apple ID. You should contact iTunes support to help you with this:

Is there an iCloud Drive app for the iPhone? I have a 5c that's running 8.0.2.
I was able to install iCloud Drive on my pc. I placed some files out there and would like to view them on my iPhone but I can't seem to find the iCloud Drive app in the app store.
There appears to be an iCloud Drive app according to the pictures here: http://www.apple.com/icloud/icloud-drive/.
Is the app not available yet?I've had an android phone since they first came out. Verizon took forever to get the iphone and by the time they did, I was so used to having a phone with a big screen and was already on a 4g device and I didn't want to take a step back to 3g and a smaller screen so I never gave apple a try. I recently sold my android phone in preparation for the next android phone release and I broke my temporary phone trying to it's replace it's cracked glass (something that's much easier to do on an iphone btw) so I had to find another temp phone. With the release of the iphone 6/6+ and everyone going so crazy about it, I decided to borrow a friend's old 5c for a month to see what all the hype was about when it comes to iphones while I wait for my android phone to come in. So far I can honestly say aside from a few things here and there, I haven't really felt like there's much of a difference to warrant the flame wars that I see on android vs apple. Some things work better on iOS for sure but there are some things I'm used to doing on android that I can't do on iOS. I really like it's overall simplistic feeling. The people on the far left and far right in terms of apple over android or android over apple and their arguments are pretty comical to me now that I've had some exposure to both.
Anyway in terms of the iCloud drive, from everything I've read it looks like it'll be identical to Google Drive which I've been using for years but without an app, it's definitely confusing on how I get to my documents and photos that I've stored on my iCloud Drive. With android, before the app I could go to the desktop site for google drive and access my documents. When I try to go to icloud drive from safari on my phone, it automatically takes me to "set up icloud tutorial" even though it's already set up on my phone. I'm happy to find that I'm not the only one that's confused by apple's description of the implementation and what's actually implemented.
I still have a few weeks before I get my android, but I'd be lying if said I haven't considered cancelling my preorder of the note 4 and grabbing a 6+ to give an iphone more than a months trial. I mean in the end, people buy iphone's like candy so it's not like I'd be stuck if I end up ultimately not liking it.

Is there any way to lock apps on the iphone 4 to prevent them from being deleted. I have the findmyiphone app which is great, but some if someone steals my phone and delete this app i won't be able to track the phone to recover it. Any suggestions

Closing Apps on the iPhone 4 in OS 7.02
Does anyone know how to close the apps on the iPhone 4 in OS 7.02? In the previous OS, when you double clicked the iPhone, the apps that were used would show up at the bottom of the screen, when you placed your finger on each icon, they would start to shake, a little red dot would appear at the top left corner of each app used, then when you tapped that red button on each app, they would close one by one. By following this same procedure in OS 7.02, you're able to see the apps you used at the bottom of the screen; but there doesn't seem to be any way to close them. Any suggestions?
Also in OS 7.02, there doesn't seem to be a way to edit or delete an individual text message within each contact, only the contact itself can be deleted.
Is this another feature lost with this new system?Double-click the Home button to bring up the app screen, then swipe upwards on the app.

i have itunee 11 and iphone 4 and i can't sync my apps to the iphone. it just stops on "determining apps to sync".please help
it is an itouch, i buy apps from the app store, they are purchased, they show up in my app section but when i try to sync them to my itouch they do not show up in on the itouch. i have tried to atuthorize and deauthorize the computer also few times, rebooted computer and still nothing. when i restore the firmware and have everything reinstall all over again the apps music and such, all show up. however if i buy a new app and try to sync it with the itouch it does not show up despite the fact that the computer states 'installing "......" whatever app. it happens with numerous apps, there is no rhyme and reason to why certain apps just do not show up on the itouch. the authorize/deauthorize deal does nothing to rectify the situtaion. any other ideas ?

after doing all the latest updates to both my iphone 4s and itunes the itunes store app on the iphone just dissapeared. Now i can't purchase any media. How can i get itunes store app back on my iphone?
If you can't find it on any of your homescreens or app folders, and you can't find it via the spotlight search screen (swipe your first home screen to the right), then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > iTunes being set 'off' ?

Does anyone know of an e-reader app for the iphone that has text to speech capability? I have a Kindle 3G that can read whole pdf documents and books but I cannot figure out how to do it on my iphone 4.
All of the apps I have found on the App store either do not have the text to speech capability or if they have it they will only read a page at a time or simply read the text you paste into their window. I really do not understand what is so difficult about having this feature as Kindle provides it--though Amazon does not make the feature available on its iPhone 4 app.
Please help.thanks. yes i am aware of the VoiceOver feature but it is NOT the solution to my problem. as you said, it is a solution to a different set of issues. i want the text to speech ability because i there are books i need to read but do not have the time to sit down and read them and have become used to listening to them read to me either by a professional human reader or with the text to speech software on the Kindle.
I think Apple makes the best audio devices but i am really disappointed in this inexplainable shortcoming. if apple can give us siri they ought to be able to design a nice little button that i can push to turn on text to speech while i am in a document, book, magazine or webpage. clearly it is possible as apple has added the "reader" button in safari to have web pages dropped into the reader format.

I'm looking for a good and reliable Password Manager App for the iPhone with sync capabilities on macs. I've read several reviews on several different apps on iTunes, and either they don't work properly, or they're a rip off, or they just don't sync or all of the above. Any recommendations?

I wanted to sync my iphone 4 (cdma). I have synced it before successfully. I am getting an error "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" and the apps and items follwoing apps in syncing (photos for example) will not sync. Items prior to apps synced (calendar/contacts). I restarted both my iphone (currently on ios 4.2.8) and my computer, itunes was on 10.6.1, same problem. I installed itunes 10.6.3, same problem. I had been waiting to update ios to 5.1.1 and would like to do that now, but wanted to sync first. Anyone have any ideas? I am stumped! Thank you.

First message I get when I connect the iphone is
"The software on iphone has expired and must be updated to a newer version"
Then it tries to backup but I get
"Itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone could not be determined"
When I click check for updates it says I have the latest version (5.0)
When I try to restore I always get "iTunes could not backup the iphone because a session could not be started with the iphone. Please disconnect and reconnect the iphone, then try again"
Tried that MANY times but no luck.
This iphone was on a developper account but it is not anymore (removed from developper account).
I'm the administrator on my PC. When I'm on the summary of my iphone it shows N/A as my phone number.
Back up to icloud doesn't work because I didn't set it up before it stopped working
When I try to activate it directly from the iphone I always get "Could not activate iphone. Your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is temporarely unavailable..." (for the past 3 weeks :s)
I can access my music and everything from itunes.
I even tried to restore it from the ispw file (using shift + restore) but I got an error message (sorry I don't remember which one) but it didn't work.
I also tried device manager, select PC, scan hardware for changes (read it worked for some) but not for me after that I don't get the
