More than 1 bank country for payment program possible?

My organisation is based in France and we have paying house banks in France and the USA. For domestic payments in France in EUR, we defined a payment method and this works fine. For our USD payments with the bank in the USA, we need to have a seperate payment file for payments only in the USA and a file for all USD payment outside the USA.
In FBZP, i can only customize the setup for domestic payments for our company code country France. Is it possible to have another bank country added to FBZP or does anyone know how i can differentiate between for our USA bank between a "domestic USA" file and a file for USD outside USA?

Hello Marlies,
yes you are right, you have to make different entries in the vendors masterrecord. An alternativ could be to use the "Free selections" and make one paymentrun i. e. for LFA-LAND1 = "US" and another for LFA-LAND1 NE "US" but I do not recommend that because errors are preassigned.
Well, the paymentprogram decides furthermore which paymentmethod is choosen. Indicating all vendors with all paymentmethods can cause errors i. e.
Vendor 1 is domestic, Paymentmethod U for domestic bank transfer
Vendor 2 is abroad, Paymentmethod X for bank transfer abroad
Entries in Vendor master Record: U for vendor 1, Vendor 2 got X
If UCX is entered in the initialisation of the paymentprogram all vendors are paid with "U", and this is wrong because the datacarrier for U has another file layout than for X
Hopefully this makes it a bit clearer, if not, give me a sign....

    I'm trying to create a file for payments to vendors  through transaction DMEE.
    I've create a new structure in DMEE, tree PAYM where given pace for atleast 4 invoices with semicloumn.
    but when I'm runing the payment run for more than one invoice for the same vendor, the file only shows the first one with repeation and filling all structurewith only 1st invoice.
    Issue is when payment run for a vendor for more than one invoices, only the first invoice has shown in the file.
    Sturcture of the file  coming after payment run is filled like this , pasting below for your referance.

    Only one video role, only one audio roll, per clip.  Only one as these are "Media Stems", and when you work with Stems, only one roll per asset video, one per asset audio.

    Dear Diwakar,
    It is certainly possible to create a transaction variant in SHD0 for the transaction FBZ0. Create a scrteen variant like ZFBZ0. I have done and tested the same and its working fine. When you are creating the screen variant, system issues certain warning messages when you are out of the reallocated option. Just ignore them and create the screen variant.
    Once you save the variant, you have to assign it to a package, 6-7 times the system will prompt for this depending on the number of screens in the transaction.
    Assign the screen variant ZFBZ0 to FBZ0 transaction using SHD0.

    I sometimes think differently. I also think like what this person is asking..(although I have installed and administering 5 different RAC databases)
    The main doubt of mine is that we create multiple instances accessing the same storage area.
    Anyway the controlfiles of all instances will have the same information except the instance_names and instance id's.
    Hence I always think , why can't it be possible to to create another instance in the same system and point it to a controlfile which is copied from the other instance.
    Why can't the same files be shared between the two instances in a same system ?
    I know I am thinking a little bit confusing...
    Anyway I need to test that also...

    Typically you use the redemption code to retrieve your serial number for Elements products. The licensing for Elements allows the owner to install on two of their computers.

    Is it possible to define more than one style for a single link state?
    For example, I would like a link in the footer of my master page to be smaller than the links that appear in the body of my topics. I want to retain behavior, and simply change the point size.
    I can't simply hand format in Design mode, because my link is within a script. Or, am I missing something easy here?

    I'm pleased to say I figured out how to change the formatting of a hyperlink embedded within a script.
    Within the script, I used a var string to reproduce the text in my link. Then I used another var to change the string size.
    So, here's the part of my script that produces what I'm after:

    var str = 'Was this information helpful?';
    var mailDisplay = str.fontsize("1");
    Upon generation of the CHM, the script trumps the CSS. It's a beautiful thing.

I am looking for the payment format file for Citi bank China. Can anyone who already worked or knows about China Citi Bank please guide me or forward me the payment file format which will accept by the Citi bank to uplaod and release the payment through their system.

    I recently worked with many banks and based on my experience I can suggest that
    1. Get in touch with Citi Bank personnel and check what format are they looking for
    2. If it is XML, check with them if they can provide you a sample file.. If yes, import it from DMEE and make changes as needed
    Basically, you need to ask them what fields should be there in the generated file and how they must be filled...
    Some fields might have constant values, most of the fields would be filled in from FPAYH and FPAYP structures.. Some fields may need user exit also
    3. If it is .TXT file, check with them if they offer custom program to generate it.. They have provided us for our Indian client, but did not provide for Mexico
    If they dont provide, you need to develop a program on your own

  • Has anyone used more than one event for one project?

    Hi,
    I have an opinion about Final Cut Pro X that hasn't changed since my first few days with it.  I waited to see if I would get used to it.  But, after a fair amount of time, I still am not comfortable with 'Events' and 'Projects'.  The separation of the media and projects creates more problems than solutions with my workflow.
    The purpose of it was to add flexibility for both the professionals and consumers using it, but my first impressions are still the same.  The new Event and Project system adds complexity to organization and archiving.  I wouldn't write this if it wasn't enough of a hindrance for me, that I encounter constantly.  I think the new Final Cut Pro X is incredible, but this issue is definitely important to me.
    Has anyone out there used more than 1 Event for 1 Project?  Some of us create more than 1 Project for an Event, to make different version of a video, or for brainstorming, or to make a part 1 and part 2 of a video, but I've never had more than 1 Event for 1 Project.  I don't need to use the media from multiple Events for the same Project.  And I've never used it for a reason.  I don't think someone will want to use their Hawaii vacation footage for a Denver vacation project, and a Florida vacation project.  I think we should bring back the connection between Events and Projects in a meaningful way. 
    This is a throw back to the older days, but that's not always a bad thing.  Let us keep our projects, or timelines, in the Events folder.  Make an area above the JPG section, and PNG section, and MOV section, and call it the Projects section.  Then we can easily find our Projects and add a new Project every time we need it, and organize our files quickly - without having to keep track of more windows. Final Cut Pro X is all about being more simplified than other video programs, and I think this goes right along with that idea.

    My original fear was that FCPX was just going to be iMovie Pro... It so is not!
    People use the interface in different ways. I think that's what most of us like about it, it's flexibiity to accommodate different types of workflows.  For me, I use the Events browser mostly like I'd be using the Finder. All the imported clips I use are referenced by the hard disks on which they reside. I know where to find them in the Event Browser and I know where to find them in the Finder.  I use a lot of stock footage and therefore *reuse* a lot of stock footage from project to project. I'm not going to re-import duplicates into different events because I don't find that the least bit convenient and I do find it a terrible waste of precious HD real estate.
    But that's me.
    Some people like to load up everything they're going to use in a single project in a single event... I get that. You can command click your way through a bunch of clips, type E and everything is automatically arranged on your storyline in the order you selected the clips. That is *awesome*!! Instant storyline (/timeline.) Furthermore, for those that need to share projects, it's easier to bundle up the events and projects if they're all together (albeit in two different folders) on one disk (— at least they are always at the top level of the drive and easy to find.)
    Keeping your Events media in a different location (satellite drives) and keeping your current project on your *fastest* drive is probably the fastest way to edit (particularly if your satellite drives are Firewire or Thunderbolt [peer-to-peer interfaces don't hog system resources].) There is little cross interference in disk accesses that way. So essentially, you can keep FCPX dealing with original clip data that doesn't need to be quite as fast, reading and writing to slower drives on your system, while letting it plow through the heavy work on your fastest access drive (usually your internal HD.)
    By no means is FCPX "more simplified". It has a huge amount of power. It has all the best parts of Color, Soundtrack Pro and Motion built in. It allows you to explore *ideas* in real time rather than having to plan for them a week in advance [layout, round-tripping plans to Color, STP and/or Motion for titling or effects.]  You can grab and move around elements anywhere on your "palette" with simple mouse moves and an occasional key press. The list goes on. Bottom line, it doesn't matter how you organize your events or your projects. It's all about the finished product. And for me, I can turn that around in about 1/5th the time (not claiming it's great — but I think better results in 20% of the time, on average, than it would have taken in Studio.) [Not a professional video editor -- I'm a graphic designer, and I develop Motion graphics for FCPX to make all "you guys" look better.]

    In Sapscript PERFORM-ENDPERFORM statements, the parameters can contain only one value as they are variables of type character & length 80.
    If you want multiple values in your CHANGING parameters, fetch all of them in different variables. Also, in your program store them in the same order, in the output internal table of structure ITCSY.

    The OBJECT parameter specifies the authorization object.
    The ID parameter specifies an authorization field (in the authorization object).
    The FIELD parameter specifies a value for the authorization field.
    The authorization object and its fields have to be suitable for the transaction. In most cases you will be able to use the existing authorization objects to protect your data. But new developments may require that you define new authorization objects and fields.

    if you define a constructor to take argument(s)
    and don't define the default constructor it is not available.

    The only workaround I know for the problem is to create parent in the dimension.
    In your case, create member “planyears”.
    Then you define children that are shard (this are the multiple member for the variables FY08, FY09 etc..)
    Create Essbase sub variable that will have 1 member value “planyears”
    When you use the Sub Variable in form select function “Children” and in that case it will use the member FY08,FY09 etc on the form.
    Limitation: I’m working on version 9.2.0.3 so you can’t create hierarchy in the year dimension, but you can use it in other dimension.

    can we give the more than 2 decimals for key figure while entering the manuall planning.
    Ex:There is keyfigure called 0DEBIT which is having values as 1000.00 USD, 137688.00 USD.which are displaying bydefault whenever we entered the values while planing or File.
    what Customer is asking us 0DEBIT keyfigure values should be display 1000.0000 USD, 137688.0000 USD. ( added two more decimals for keyfigure value).
    Can we maintained decimals more than two.........?

    Hi,
    Though you can specify the no of decimal places for each keyfigure in the 2nd screen of layout builder but say if you have entered scaling factor as 1 and decimal places as 4 and user enters value as 15.2546, then in the cube it will be stored as 15.25 because physically the keyfigure can store values only upto two decimal places, so it will round up the figure to two decimal places. But, if you specify the scaling factor as 2 and decimal places as 4 than value 15.2546 will be stored in the cube as 1525.46.
    If above explanation doesn't help you i finding out the solution for your requirement than you have to either change the number of decimal places in the keyfigure or tell user that technically it's not possible in BPS.
