More than 5 iTunes Accounts ?

Hi folk,
have anyone experience about an upgrade of the limitation from 5 iTunes Account ?
I need more, because we are 4 headed family with mini host, Apple-TV, broilplace, etc.
My favorit limit would be 10.
I have ask the Apple-Support an wait of their answer.
Thanks in advanced.

I did that with my 3GS before ever starting the activation process for the 4, having gotten the not-all-your-iPhone-purchases-are-in-your-library message when I did one last backup of the 3GS. I then activated the 4, synched, got the 5 accounts message, ran Doug's script, deleted the song, and re-ran the script with no additional accounts showing up (though I can't remember if the second pass-through was before or after re-launching iTunes).
Weirdly, when I later tried to erase my 3GS, I again got the message that not all the songs purchased on my 3GS were in my iTunes library. I did the file->transfer purchases two more times and kept getting the not-transferred message and finally just erased the thing.

  • Can't I get my old iTunes that I have purchased downloaded from Apple?  I don't have the old computer anymore.  Also, is there a number to call if I think I have more than one account and would like them to consolidate my accounts?

    I have two problems:
    1.  I no longer have my old computer and want to download the iTunes I have purchased in previous years.  Aren't they all in "the cloud?"
    2.  I think I have more than one account and would like to get them combined.  Is there a good number or email to Apple that I could get that done?
    THanks!

It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer.  Have you failed to do this?
You can redownload some iTunes purchases in some countries:
Download past purchases - Apple Support
As provided, you cannot merge accounts
    Sorry

have you heard about Thunderbird profiles? A profile change requires a restart unlike OE and it's change of identities. But multiple profiles is basically functionally identical to the OE identify. Two completely separate set of accounts and address books. See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_manager
There is also an add-on https://nic-nac-project.org/~kaosmos/index-en.html#profname which make a menu entry to allow you to set te profile to be opened next time Thunderbird starts.
I am guessing crashing into the already existing outlook import folder made the mail an issue. So if you rename the outlook express import folder to something else the import may well go as planned.

  • Home sharing more than one account

Is it possible to home share more than one account with apple tv?

    Welcome to the Apple community.
Yes indeed, you can home share numerous accounts to the Apple TV. What you need to do is use the same ID and password in every case for home sharing, regardless of the fact that it may well be different than the Apple ID and password for the subsequent iTunes accounts.

  • Nokia messagging: manage more than one account hel...

I'm testing Nokia messaging for a few days
    I wonder this:
for now I've set 2 email addresses .. one Alice and one gmail
To read the mail It's enough for me to check only one of the two accounts (everything is forworded to Alice)
But when I respond wuold like  to be able to choose from different account
Is there  the possibilityto have more than one account  (till 10 I know)  but make nokia messaging controls only one?
I mean: download only the mail from the email account that I choose ... leave the other account active but with no sync in download
In this way I can download only from one account (faster and no waste of time and space) and be able to answer from different accounts set up in nokia mail site
    thanks

Yes you can.  If those multiple accounts are for different people, it is usually best for each person to have their own iTunes library in a separate Windows user account.

How do I authorize more than five accounts? I have an AppleTV2, two iPhones, MacPro, and iPad2. What must I do to include my MacBook?

You can have up to 5 computers authorized with the same iTunes account.
An iPod, iPhone, and iPad don't count against this and neither does an Apple TV.

when I update applications more than one account appears.  How do I delete second account?

I'm wondering if you have to Apples IDs or iTunes IDs and have puchased apps on both accounts.I have the same issue, and must supply both accounts' passwords in order to update apps. From my research here, there's no way to merge the two accouts. It is aggrivating, indeed.

  • Can I get more than one account on iphone microsoft exchange server

    Hi all,
I was trying to get more than one account on iphone microsoft exchange server for mail, but it seems to only accept one. Is this true with everyone else out there. I guess I am one of the few people with more than one email account that uses microsoft exchange. I would love to have the convience of accessing them through iphone mail but it seems that I will be forced to use safari for the other two by typing owa... in the url.
any workaround to the one email account per iphone policy??

Yu can only have one Exchange Server account per device. This is true to iPhone and any Windows mobile device in the market. The work around is to set your other accounts that reside on an Exchange server using IMAP or POP settings as you used to do before the Version 2 update allowed you to sync directly to the Exchange Server. This methode will allow you to add as many accounts as you want or have.

  • Creating more than one account for a single user

I was wondering, if I creat more than one account for me (the only person that uses my powerbook) is that going overboard? I mean, lets say I am logged into the standard account and I want to learn more about the bash shell and using terminal which I am new to, if I **** something up will the whole system be toast or will only things in that account be messed up? Like could I then just log into my admin account and delete the other messed up one? Or no? My theory was that this was a way of keeping my comp safe from myself, being that I am new to macs and moreso that I am new to the unix side of things and want to start learning the command line without worrying about screwing up my whole system. I would just use the standard account for everyday use (like what I do now) or experiment with terminal, and when I need to download something or change some settings that requires me to be logged in as admin then I would log in and download what I need then log out and use it in the standard account...am I just wasting my time? Is what I am doing any "safer" than just having one admin account and thats it?
Thanks for all the help! It feels good to be a part of the goodguys team =)
    Thanks again!

    Ghost,
First, I don't subscribe to the "one should not use an admin account" philosophy. For someone who is the owner and main user of any given machine, I see the use of anything but an admin account a bit anal, totally unecessary, and needlessly complicating.
On the other hand, I don't see the need for more than one admin account on any given machine. Yes, I see exceptions to this, and many people favor having a second admin account as a "backup," but I have never had more than one admin account on any of my machines, and have never encountered a situation where one would have helped.
In short, I like the idea of having a "main" admin account that is used most of the time, and then having "secondary" accounts (all non-admin) for any additional users that might log in.
Now, any limitations that apply to you as a GUI user of an account, admin or not, will apply to you at the command line as well. In other words, you can't get yourself into any more trouble at the command line than you can within the GUI. In fact, you might even be better protected at the command line than you are in the GUI. I say this because any action that would ordinarily "elevate" you above the standard capabilities of a non-admin user require the use of "sudo." Avoid the use of sudo, and you can avoid any problems.
That doesn't mean that you wouldn't be able to do something stupid that might wreck an account that contains "all of your stuff," and on which you depend. It is not likely that you would damage your System, but it is entirely conceivable that you might, for example, accidently delete or overwrite your entire HOME folder. Oops!
If you simply don't trust yourself with the command line, a second account might be a good place to experiment. Maybe create it as a non-admin account at first, with the option to change it to an admin account at a later time, when you want to learn how to use "sudo" to do more powerful things. By then, you will understand what not to do. Eventually, you will have the confidence to use the command line in your own account, which will have been an admin account all this while.
