More than one e-mail account

I currently have a gmail account set-up on my iPhone that pulls in two other e-mail accounts via gmail.
I want to add a secondary e-mail account which is my work e-mail (probably a MS Exchange account). Is there anyway to do this as I believe that the gmail account is hooked up via MS Exchange and I believe that you can only configure one at any time.
Therefore can I move my gmail configuration to something else to allow me to access my work e-mail through a MS Exchange configuration? I don't want my work e-mails in the same inbox as my gmail account.

You indicated you created your Gmail account as an Exchange account with the iPhone's Mail application. If so, this provides Push access for received messages and over the air syncing for your Google or Gmail contacts and calendar events.
Before creating your company Exchange account on your iPhone, you will need to delete your Gmail account on your iPhone that is being accessed as an Exchange account followed by recreating the account as an IMAP account. When using the Gmail account preset when creating a Gmail account with the iPhone's Mail application, the account is created as an IMAP account.

Could someone PLEASE tell me how to set up more than one POP mail account.

I am soooo frustrated. Before I upgraded to Tiger I had no problems setting up my mail accounts. Now, I can only set up one POP mail account. I have three mail accounts that I desperately need to set up from the same ISP server, all POP accounts. On Panther and earlier, all I had to do was add the accounts. Now I have ONE POP account and when I try to set up another I get an error message that I already have a POP account set up. Why is this happening and what happened to the old system that worked just fine. I am so annoyed with this. It simply defies logic!!!!

I don't know if this will work or not, but why don't you try using bogus pop and/or smtp server information when you initially establish the accounts with Mail's setup wizard? Just continue through the "warning: cannot validate server" messages that the wizard will give you. Then go into Mail > preferences > accounts and highlight each of the new accounts, one at a time, and try changing the incoming pop and outgoing smtp mail server information to what it is supposed to be?
For the "Outgoing" server just use the pull-down menu, to select it, and when all accounts are done, go into that same pull-down menu and choose "Edit Server List..." to remove the bogus smtp server information.
Incoming should be just renaming that pop server in the "Incoming server" field.
If that doesn't work, I've got something riskier you could try, again with no guarantees, and that is editing your ~/Library/Preferences/com.apple.mail.plist file using either the Property List Editor that comes with XCode Tools (will launch automagically when you click on that .plist file if XCode is installed) or with the pico editor in Terminal, and possibly renaming some folders in your ~/Library/Mail folder, too. Again, start with the bogus server info, then find those entries in the .plist file and make changes there.
Note: if not familiar with the notation, "~" means your "home" directory.

I can't seem to create different FaceTime accounts using different e-mail addresses but with 1 Apple account. My daughter's IPod is attached to my Apple account, but I want to use her e-mail address for her FaceTime app. Any thoughts?

More than one address book account

Does anyone know if its possible to have more than one address book account.
I have two e-mail addresses, one work and one personal and I want to use address book for my contacts. Is it possible to keep these two lists of contacts separate in Address Book on a mac and if so how.
The problem is I sometimes have to export my business address book and don't want to send personal contacts.
Does anyone have a solution??

You could always create 2 groups in address book, one for business and one for personal. You will then have an "all contacts" list which will have them mixed, but you can also view by group, which will show just business or just personal. When you need to export, just export the business group.

HT4314 Can I have more than one Game Center account on the same Apple ID? If so, how do I set it up?

I am playing Clash of Clans on my iphone and on my iPad. I would like to connect each of my games to a different Game Center ID so I don't lose them if something happens to my device, but I can't figure out how to do that without creating new Apple IDs for each device and I don't want to do that. Two thoughts:
1. You never need to open any emails in the junk mailbox. You can simply do Mailbox > Erase Junk Mail from Mail's menu.
2. What happens if you hold the shift key after highlighting the first in a series of emails, then click the second one with the shift key depressed? That should hightlight both.

Assigning more than one G/L accounts to WRX

I want to assign more than one G/L accounts to WRX, I knew that it can be done through general modification. I have defined like below:

For a Transaction WRX you have to link Valuation Maodifier , Valuation class & GL Account No.
Typical Assigning will be as below

Why do we need more than one retained earnings accounts & what is the use?

Hi FI Experts,
Why do we need more than one retained earnings accounts, what is the precise use of two?
I know the retained earnings account is used to carry forward the balances during the year end to the balance sheet and there by making the p&L A/cs balances as zero.
I guess the second one is used for different valueations for example as depreciation accounts for different valuations will have different retained earnings accounts.
Kindly correct me if I am wrong and eloborate on the use having more than one retained earnings accounts.

Well, separate retained earnings accounts are used for parallel financial reporting, it means when you need to report in accordance with, for example, local GAAP and IFRS or US GAAP at the same time. Several retained earnings accounts are necessary when the company chooses account based approach for parallel reporting. (GL accounts are broken down into several groups, for example you use different accounts for IFRS valuation, for local GAAP and they are also shared accounts common for both principles.)

Can any one tell me where we can create General Modification keys in MM-FI integration
As i need to assign more than one GL account for transaction key WRX (GR-IR)Clearing account.
There may be one valuation grouping code with different General modifications thereby we can assign more than one G/L account to WRX transaction key.
Example:
Valuation grouping code or valuation modification = IN
General Modifications: I01,I02,I03,I04..
General Ledger Accounts: 240940000,240940001,240940002,240940003
IN I01 240940000
IN I02 240940001
IN I03 240940002
IN I04 240940003
But , I am unable to find, where we can define these general modifications ( I01,I02,I03)....
If any one knew please let me know...

Two iphones, intending one O2 account - more than one i tunes account

Hi... Possibly me being very stupid BUT...
Today my partner and I got our new iphones from apple. We will be joining O2 as new customers and before I start activation I need clrification on a few points and can't find the answers anywhere lol.
We run three different computers and both have our own itunes accounts - with our varied purchased music. My partner stupidly has two itunes accounts of his own and now wants to merge them togethr. (seperate issue! Is this possible???)
When we activate the iphones they'll be in an account in his name and so we need to activate the phones in his itunes account. Does this mean I won't be able to use my iphone in line with my own itunes account??
Can we use the phones on more than one computer as we both have seperate laptops. His is macbookpro and his main computer. I have laptop on vista and desktop on vista but the music library is on all computers... we've managed to transfer purcahses to each system already.
Sorry it's long winded. Does anyone out there understand what I mean and can they help at all? I am desperate to get my iphone up and running

Thank you so much for responding. I admit to giving ap at 1am yesterday - still having not activated my new iphone as I wanted to make sure I did it right in the first place.
Can I ask the incredibly dumb question (I am blonde and female... no offence to any others ) How do I do that? Is it a case of when I connect my iphone to itunes I just make sure that I am logged into my own itunes account like I would with my nano?

Why can't I list more than one e-mail addressee suddenly?

I think since downloading Mavericks my mail program does not allow me to put more than one contact in the To box. Very frustrating. I
don't see anything in Mail preferences that will address this problem.

But the first addressee is no longer inside a blue oval. So, unfortunately, your suggestio does not answer my question.
Another change to mail is that when I try to send an attachment based on text in Pages, only part of the text appears in my outgoing e-mail. Has Maverick messed things up?
