More than one modem if same?

Ok, figured out our problem of having to have the downstairs modem reset stems from using two different modems, a Westell 6100, and a Westell 6100F. The computers are too far apart to link both together, and the house is too old to rewire, and we are not doing the router thing.
What I am wondering is if we used 2 Westell 6100Fs, if we would have to reset the modems every time we used them? Can anyone help? Moving the same modem to the other computer ALSO seemed to cause problems. Does that mean I can never move my computer to another room? If so, I ain't too happy.

You can use the modem in another room..
It is just you have to be sure that every other device that uses the phone line, has a DSL filter.
The modem unless directed, should never behind a DSL filter.

I 've a special problem:
In our web-app (some DC's) also stored propertie-Files. Now we would to deploy this application more than one times at same server using different WebContentRoots. (f.e. http://server/app1 and http://server/app2 a.s.o.)
We know, that we must create different EAR-Projects and refer the web-Module and configure the application.
But in the second application there it's recommended to change some properties.
How we can handle this in JDI without copy the web-application?

as I'm new to NWDI, I cannot give you a 100 percent, field-tested solution. But have you already thought about using the Configuration-Adapter?
If you can change the source of your web-app, you could maintain the data formerly stored in property files using the configuration adapter of visual administrator. The SC <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/45/e7e14b517b42788a1c166f9f32455e/content.htm">configuration</a> allows you to access this data.
With this approach you can stick to one web-application and do the configuration work separately for each deployed application.

Failed to upgrade more than one table at same time

In Deployment Manager, I failed to upgrade more than one table at same time.
I tried to hightlight 4 tables and set the default action as Upgrade, and click File/Generate Deploy. It passed the code generation step then I click Deploy, they are all failed with no error message.
But they are all successful when I upgrade them one by one. Any one has any idea about this?
For the known reason, we have no choice to do the deployment with action of 'upgrade' through OMBPlus, instead, can only do that interactively through OWB Client. I can't imagine to ask our Production side DBA to upgrade 80 tables one by one. Or I have to use the generated scripts to do the upgrade, which will resulted in 'no deploy status updated' in OWB. Any help will be very appricated.
The version I'm using is OWB 10g.

First of all, Patrick's solution doesn't work for me. I didn't do cloning and there is no problem when check the WB tables.
Second, I think your solution is only good for the developing environment just to get tables upgrade via deployment manager. In most cases, when you do a new release on PROD environment you just exp/imp the MDL file from DEV to PROD and any developing is not recommended on PROD. But your approach is trying to manually the DB, and then EDIT the mapping to do the Reconcile and then deploy. Surely you can do that if you have full control on your PROD side. However, in my situation, I have no access to the PROD for the security reason and an DBA Operator of the Client is responsible to implement my Migration process on PROD by himself.

Pop to get more than one value of same type

Hi
I want to give pop up that can take 3 customer numbers
and export it.Problem with popup_get_values function module is that you cannot get more than one value of same type for example here kna1-kunnr.
Is there any function module to solve this problem.

I have problem in using more than one instance of same Declarative Component in a single JSF page.
Only one instance is visible/rendered.
If I drag and drop more than one instance of same Declarative Component in a single JSF page, only one is displayed.
Not sure why is so....have I missed on some configuration?

What version of JDeveloper are you using? What declarative component?
In general when creating JSF UI components, care must be taken to avoid certain pitfalls that happen when one uses that component more than once in a page...so depending on which component you are using, one might surmise that more or less care was taken on that component when building it.
If it was well tested though...like if it was an ADF Faces component, then that is probably not the problem.

for ex: I want to use TextFields to input the Date of birth in form of DD/MM/YY

It will depend on the phone. There is no way of knowing if the items actually will be on the same line or not. On a phone with a small screen, the items are likely to end up on two lines.
You can however make sure that the lines will occupy two lines by using the setLayout(int layout) method which belongs to the Item class.

uhm i did what the second person said...i held down the shift key and made another library but it deleted the first one....so i made another one and when i tried to open the library that deleted the first one...it was gone..

I have updated using one table with no problem, however, when I try updating with the two tables/ multiple record sets, I get errors.

check out this work around. in this sample currency column supports multiple values and multiple values in the filter column should be enter with comma as separater.

More Than One OS On Same Machine?:

How exactly does that work? Two Volumes each with an OS on it (and can an added volume just not have an OS), or can the startup volume be partitioned with two OSs??
And whenever the day comes that I get OSX (either on the same one or another one) can the appearance be set to look like OS Classic?

...if my 6gb startup volume isn't large enough for 2 OSs.
Although OSX and OS 9 (Classic) are designed to cohabit the same volume (and shipped that way on those machines which came with both OS's pre-installed), as a practical matter that's difficult to achieve on a small drive.
OSX needs lots of space.
A default install of OSX 10.2 and later can take up as much as 3GB of hard drive space. This can be reduced somewhat during the install process by selecting to not install all the various language versions.
In addition, OSX runs best when about 5GB of space is left unused on the volume - OSX uses that for things like its version of virtual memory and to defrag files on the fly.
It's hard to get a satisfactory install of just OSX on a drive as small as 6GB, especially once you start adding in programs, and want to have Classic (OS 9) also available.
In theory it is possible to have multiple installs of OS 9 and earlier on the same volume - there's ways to manage more than one System Folder so that only one is recognized at any time as being valid for booting by the machine. It is very inconvenient to do that, and can easily lead to a no-boot state or other conflicts.
The practical solution when multiple installs of OS 9 and earlier are needed is to place each on its own volume - this can be done by having multiple hard drives available, or by partitioning a drive, or by a combination of those.
The Mac OS is limited to mounting a max of 20 or 21 volumes at boot time. This is usually enough for most of us. The machine I'm using at the present time has ten volumes (including the boot volume) available to it - internal drive #1 has 4 partitions, internal #2 has 5 partitions, plus one external drive. Frankly, I don't access most of those very frequently.

Can you use those USB controllers (sold by Apple) to plug into more than one port so as to play kinda like you do with an XBOX? The old XBOX allows up to 4 screens w/ 4 players. Email Not generated from VF06 - more than one invoice created same BP

Customer is creating invoice in VF01, they need a email output (medium 5) along with SAP Script attached . I coded the logic in subroutine Entry of the print program. Email is getting generated successfully .
But it production the customer is creating invoices by VF06, infact VF06 is a batch Job to create Invoices.
For eg: using VF06 if they run batch job, 2 or more invoices are getting created for the same business partner, only for the first invoice email is getting generated, but it only sends one email related to the first invoice generated. Though the outputs are getting processed for other invoices we are not getting any emails.
We are sending email by using the FM SO_DOCUMENT_SEND_API1, if i use commit = 'X', and run Vf06, its sending an error notification stating error doing commit.
Also I checked all the sort options in VF06, Still it wont work.
Can any body please help me how to proceed. Your valuable help is appreciated <removed by moderator>.

Column text to flow across more than one page in same column

I am trying to write a document of several pages with three, or maybe even four columns. There will be text headers in one column, alongside which there will be the main text associated with the headers. In another column there will some more key phrases, and again these will need to be lined up against particular text in the first two columns.
I would like to make the text in one column stay in that single column across the whole document, and not flow into the next column on the particular page. I know that using a succession of text boxes is one solution, but it is clumsy and is also difficult to manage. Perhaps another solution would be to use a table, but again that feels clumsy.
Can anyone advise on the best way to do this please.

Hi everyone and thanks for your help. I tried to explain more clearly than I seem to have done. Walt has understood that I want the text in column one, page one, to flow to column one, page two; and the text from column two, page one, to flow to column two, page two, etc. I thought it might have to be text boxes. I now need to learn about how to 'link' them, and whether it is across or down the page I need to create the links.
The document is an aide memoire or manual for a trainer to use. It has the media to be used in one column, the visual aid in the next column and the notes in column three. I might also include a fourth column to show essential or key questions etc that have to be used.
