More useful web features

Adobe added xhtml export in CS3 and introduce some flash feature in CS4 but I know nobody who uses those features, at least among the professionals. Indesign could one day replace Flash or Dreamweaver but for now it's more interesting to use it like Illustrator and Photoshop as a layout editor where is his greatest force. Nevertheless unlike others, it lacks of some basic features like working with pixels (pixel ruler), slices and "Save for the web" so it will be good to add those features.

Please check the name of what you subscribed to. You say "Acrobat" but that isn't $19.99/year. Unfortunately Adobe have products which do the same thing and need to be used in different ways.

Recently installed Service Pack 1 in SharePoint Server 2013 Farm, post upgrade we are experiencing issue when opening visio documents:

Under Document library-->Library settings-->Advanced Settings
Still I cant open file in browser as we always used to. Unfortunately we don't have Visio services in Farm.

Based on the error message, it seems that the Visio Graphics Service is not started or the Enterprise feature is not enabled.
I recommend to check the things below:
Go to Central Administration > System Settings > Manage service on server > check if the Visio Graphics Service is started > then click Application Management > Manage service applications > check if the Visio Graphics Service application
is created.
Go to the root site settings page of the site where you got this error, click Site collection features to check if the SharePoint Server Enterprise Site Collection Features is enabled.

Create a custom web template using VS 2012 with web features,site features sections applied

Want to create a custom web template using VS 2012 in my SP 2013 environment. i know "Vesku" has posted a great artice on this [ based on prev. version of SP].

The problem is that Web Templates are deployed to a gallery in a site collection and aren't available in Central Admin when creating a new site collection. YOu have to create the site collection without choosing a template and then choose your web
template when you first access the root site in the site collection. Here's an article that discusses that process here:

Other than that Vesa's article is still the best one and works essentially the same in 2013 as it does in 2010.

I want refresh the dropdownlist once the javascript captured the refresh message,they both behaved asynchronously. However, the textField1 rendered with a blank box,while the dropDown1 had no change. Feature Request UI builder: More use of Ctrl + ... similar to LabVIEW

Would like to see more use of the Control + Key for common features that are in LabVIEW. Run for example is Ctrl + R

I agree this option would be great to have built in automatically. It might also be nice to allow auto-indixing of 2d (or more) arrays going into for loops where it will iterate through all dimensions an grab the (i,j) single elements and add an i and j index inside the loop, instead of nesting loops inside of each other. I guess these features cater to the power users who want to save any amount of coding possible.

When I upload my images to the web they are not as vibrant. I am using the Save for the Web feature.

Using QuickTime Player's 'Save for Web' feature in iWeb

I'm using iWeb (3.0.3) to create a site. I've also used the QuickTime Player (10) feature "Save for Web" command to save optimized versions (for iPhone and desktop) of a clip I'm using in my site. I want to keep the nice features of the QT Save for Web, i.e., the poster frame and the nicer QT controller.
I've managed to get everything hooked up right (using an HTML snippet in iWeb and hand-editing the page's html file to add the lines to <head> that the Save for Web's instructions specify. Yay!
All good so far. When I view the page in Safari, the poster frame shows up perfectly. But when I click on it, Safari swaps in a new page (frameset?), which loses all the navigational stuff I have on the "real" page. The Save for Web's instruction html page doesn't do this -- why is it happening in the iWeb page? I've tried stripping stuff out of the iWeb-generated page, but no luck.
Please help ... I've spent HOURS trying to figure this out, and I'm at my wit's end!!
(Additionally, if someone can tell me where I can put the 4 files that the Save for Web command creates so that iWeb doesn't wipe them everytime I publish, I would be a very happy man!!

Thanks, good stuff, though I'm still having a small problem with this. I'm getting a gray line around the top and left of my movie and the right side of the player is getting cut off. When I try to make the width larger, it just moves the gray line further to the left.
Any ideas?

I would suggest checking out http://www.logiforms.com. They have really good PDF support for both hosted PDF's and generating PDFs. You can:
populate PDF forms from a web form submission
Merge multiple PDF's together using conditional logic
Include uploaded images in the generated PDF
Get Electronic signatures on PDF's
Use conditional logic when creating PDF's
Convert HTML to PDF. You design in HTML and CSS and use form field wildcards and generate the PDF

I want to share queries at Power BI.
These queries include Web.Contents function.
And Web.Contents function have ApiKeyName for Web API authentication.
Ex:

I try share this queries to Power BI.
But I cannot use this query at the other excel workbook.

Ok that makes sense. Thank you for the translation! That error isn't specific to your use of an API key. It is hitting our privacy firewall feature. There is more information here:

I encourage you to read that help document to get the full information, but basically it's saying that you're trying to combine two datasources and Power Query doesn't know the relative privacy level of each source. We need that info so we can make sure
that we don't leak private data out to the world.
The error message suggests that you build the query from scratch. When you do that, you'll get prompted for the privacy levels of each source and you won't have this problem. If you want to reuse this query without rebuilding it and you're absolutely sure
that none of the data involved is private, you can disable the privacy firewall by clicking the Fast Combine button. That's located in the Power Query ribbon in Excel in the Workbook Settings group. (Sorry I don't know what that is called in Japanese.)

Are the web features in Photoshop CS4 worth the upgrade?

I'm not a high-end user of Photoshop, but will soon start using it to create graphics to be plugged into Portal. I'll be purchasing the web design package (I'll need Dreamweaver and Flash in the not-too-distant future), and am wondering if there are enough improvements to Photoshop's web features to justify going with the Premium edition.
Also, for casual users of Illustrator -- do you think CS4 is worth the upgrade? Having multiple artboards sounds tempting, but is there more?

Trying to use Web LCID property to get the List name in client object Model

I am trying to change the "Personal Documents" list NoCrawl property under MySite using SharePoint Client Object Model. As we use web.Lists.GetByTitle("Personal
Documents"); method to get the list,but here problem is :for different language List name is in their language.So I tried to use LCID property of the WEB and
have taken key-value pair (PersonalSiteOnet_List_PersonalDocuments) from the resource file for that language from 14 hive.
Example:I have selected Spanish language .there are so many LCID for Spanish language but Microsoft has given only one language pack for Spanish.
Then,My Question is that
"All LCID for Spanish language are using same Spanish language pack dictionary file OR something else"

According to your post, my understanding is that your requirement is getting list in different language.
Here are two ways for your reference:
1. We can use getById method instead, so that we can avoid the language issue.
2. We can use an array to store the different list name in different language in you JavaScript code, then use the code snippet below to get the list:
