Is there a site where you can import more cool widgets into iweb? Seems a shame there are only 9 in the program

No. One user has created some of his own but it requires knowledge of javascript and other code. Not for the faint of heart. Send a feature request for those you'd like to see added to Apple at http://www.apple.com/feedback/iweb.html.

At current stage Muse does not provides database or any other crm module. You would need to add contents or use database from server end where you are hosting your site.

Toshiba 46XU600U LCD TV - Can I get more widgets on it like Netflix

Is it possible to add more widgets to this unit, realize it's 3 years old. I want to add netflix so we can stream movies is that possible? Thank you in advance.

It is not possible to download a new apps on this TV. It is not like a computer where as you can add/install new programs.

How long before we get more widgets?

Given that we now have two native widgets in the pull down notification center - for weather and stocks - I'm anticipating we will eventually get more for apps that are installed. To be honest, it makes perfect sense. Anyone got any idea on whether I am way off the mark or agree?

Only Apple would know the answer and they haven't said.

While you can't add new applications yet (wait for iPhone software 2.0 in June), you CAN make webclips on your iPhone home screen. The link below has lots of webapps. To put one on your homescreen, load it on your iPhone browser, tap the "+" to add a bookmark and choose add to homescreen. Name it and hit ok and it'll be on your homescreen. Enjoy!!!

On my macbook pro under dashboard, you can go to a page to order more widgets, it asks for ur name and password, but I can't get in under any thing I enter. What procedure must you go thru to order more widgets?

Trying to download a new widget for my dashboard, it wants a name and password. I tried the main one I log into with, I am the administrator, tried my email account and also my cloud account. nothing seems to work. I wanted to dowm load webcams that show Hong Kong senery's. Can anyone help with this?

Create a New User Account, and as that New User try to set up this one account -- as it is POP, set to leave messages on the server after download. If not familiar with setting up a New User Account, see:

This will be a useful test, and is not meant to suggest a permanent switch to the New User Account, but rather a test of the Mail application outside of your normal User Account.
Also in System Preferences/Networks click on Advanced, then Proxies and make sure no proxy selections have been checked.

I am trying to develop several widgets that share the same javascript library, how can do this?

Here is what I did. Before reading and replicating my steps please note that it did not work.
First create the widget:
Open dashcode. Select File/New Project.
Select Dashboard/Custom Template to create the widget. You get the "Hello World" widget which doesn't do anything. Here is what you have:
Just to add interaction, add a button. Go to Inspector, select Behaviors (see below) and for the onclick event add an event handler. Here's the screen shot:
The main.js associated file will contain now the empty code for the event handler:
Change it so it will change the text on the widget. I did it like this:

Click on Run. Here's the widget, working:

So I was wondering if there were widgets that I could install into the noticication center on the iPod touch. Or do I have to do that by jailbreaking, which I don't want to do.

Hello can anybody tell me if it is possible to install new widgets in Adobe Muse?

Hi Eric,
If what you're looking for are entirely new widgets (i.e. a video player widget, an audio player widget, a slide out drawer widget, etc.) that would appear in the Widget Library and work like the other widgets, then morgan_in_london's response is correct. The Muse Widget Library is currently limited to the set of widgets in the product.
Many HTML widgets can be used via the Insert HTML feature (i.e. Google maps, YouTube videos, FaceBook like buttons, etc.), but they generally don't offer the ease-of-use or flexibility of the built-in Muse widgets. A third party, www.muse-themes.com, has started an online directory of Insert HTML-based widgets for use with Muse that can be found at http://www.muse-themes.com/pages/muse-widget-directory.
If what your looking for is a library of examples that demonstrate what's possible with the current widgets in Muse (which have many different behavior and formatting options), we're in the process of putting together the start of a gallery of example widgets that should be live online soon.

Widget Meltdown

Widget Meltdown! I did my weekly update for my Mac Mini G4 software from Apple. After the update, most of the Widgets do not fuction properly. Some do not work at all, others do not work if you flip them over, buttons are missing, they scroll off the screen or permanently freeze. I have tried un-installing the Widgets that have problems and re-installing them, same result. Even the Widget manager icon (one on far left when X pressed) will not close and stays on the desktop when Dashboard is activated. I have sent Apple two emails with no reply. Any suggestions? This is my first Mac. I have had it about 6 months. Good at it, but not expert yet...any help would be welcomed. The updates were of the week 5/15-5/19 2006. Also, the Dashboard Widget manager was opened and will not close. It has four items in it. I've tried doing numerous things,trashing the preferences and restarting dashboard, if I open the manager this window still appears. I've tried to uninstall and uncheck the two odd widgets "Overflow text case" and "One more is four" but nothing happens. I'm running 10.4.6 and I've had this problem since my last update. HELP!!!!

I have also rebooted from the start up disk and tried to do the "Repair Disk", however, it will not allow to to choose that option; only Verify or Repair Permissions is allowed for the Hard Disk.
Current, very few Widgets will work at all. The Widget Manager will not close and four Widgets that are not installed are still being monitered by this application. It lists: Calculator, Address Book, "Over Flow Text Case, it...", and "One More is Four" are still showing up in the non-closable Widget. The "Choose more widgets" button does nothing, nor can you close the Widget Manager. The Activity Moniter shows this Widget working. I can Force Quit it from there, only to have it immediately reopen.
I am at the point of just reinstalling the Operation System. However, whenever I try to do this, I insert the Mac Mini Mac OS X Install Disk 1, I choose the "Install Mac OS X and Bundled Software" icon, it then promts me to restart, at which time it ejects the disk and the whole cycle starts over. It never allows me to reinstall.
Any additional help or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated. I have read numerous people across the net who have had this exact same problem. I have not seen the solution yet. I hope you are it Thanks again.

Widget madness?

hi,
still learning how to use my new ibook, and been downloading widgets, but there are two in particular that when i download one, it deletes another and replaces it with that one. i thought maybe it was a space issue, so deleted some widgets didnt like and tried again with no success.
the two widgets in question are m@radio and einstein quote widget. i had m@radio earlier and then when i downloaded the einstein one m@radio disappeared and was replaced?? very annoying situation as i want both. any suggestions would be much appreciated.

"Mail, New Arrival" widget missing?

Hi,
I have Belle installed on a Nokia N8 Vodafone fully upgraded including MicroSoft Apps. I am still missing the "Mail, New Arrival" widget. I can add the full "Mail" widget which consumes quite a lot of real estate on the home screen so am looking for this to be able to add a few more widgets to the same home screen.

When you add a new homescreen and tap-and-hold>add widget there you do not see the Mail , new arrival widget?
When you dial *#0000# what software version do you have?

How to use a searchfield in a dashboard widget?

Hi,
I would to use the Searchfield component in my widget, but I'm not sure how it works. I already know it's a NSSearchField, but that's it.
The purpose for this search field is searching within an array of strings and presenting the results in a sort of dropdown list (from the searchfield object). Like the one I see in several weather widgets.
Any tips or suggestions ?

I would love to see Dictionary / Thesaurus from OS X come to the iPhone. I know that Apple will more then likely bring more widgets to the iPhone, but I for one would like to see this as one of the first.

The lack of a dictionary on the iPhone was the only thing that gave me pause. (OK. I paused for no MMS too.) I have a truly incredible dictionary on my Treo. Not only would I love to see the Apple Dictionary/Thesaurus on my iPhone but I'd like to see Apple improve the Dictionary with more words and with pronunciations and etymologies. Text is cheap, and I've never been able to figure out why I have a better dictionary on my Treo than on my Mac.
