MY iPad apps close just as soon as open them. Need help

Do you have non-iTunes apps running on your device? Is your device jailbroken?
If the answer to both of those questions is "no", then try the following:
Double-click the Home key and swipe up on the thumbnails for all open apps
Reset the device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Home screen redisplays, see if the issue is resolved.
If the answer to either of the questions is "yes", then that is undoubtedly the source of your issues.

Have you tried restarting or resetting your iPad?
Restart: Press On/Off button until the Slide to Power Off slider appears, select Slide to Power Off and, after the iPad shuts down, then press the On/Off button until the Apple logo appears.
Reset: Press the Home and On/Off buttons at the same time and hold them until the Apple logo appears (about 10 seconds).

Some apps are closing as soon as I open them.

A couple of my apps are closing when almost as soon as I open them. I tried holding both buttons until the apple logo appears but this did not resolve the issue. Also tried deleting and reinstalling but this did not seem to help either. Can anyone please help?

Have you synchronized to your computer lately? If you did, did you enable app synchronization too? That can be overlooked and cause this sort of conflict.

Safari and Mail apps close as soon as i open them, whats happening?

Everytime i try to open safari or email, it crashes the app. Im very worriedd what shoudl i do

There's no such thing as "hard reset", unless you mean you erased the phone and started over.
If you did a "reset" by holding the HOME and SLEEP buttons until an Apple logo appeared, did you do this before closing all of the apps or after? If you did it before, then close all of the apps again, THEN reset the phone. If the problem persists you either have a corrupted copy of iOS on the phone, the phone is jailbroken, or you have a hardware problem. The following diagnostic steps can narrow it down:
If the phone is jailbroken, end of story. You are on your own.
Restore the phone using iTunes, and restore your backup when prompted. Does the problem still exist? If so, try the next step.
Restore the phone using iTunes, and DO NOT restore your backup. Set up as a new phone and install a couple of apps.
Is the problem gone? If it is, you have a corrupted backup, and will have to manually restore your content rather than restoring the backup.
If the problem is still present you have a hardware problem. Take the phone to an Apple store for diagnosis. Make an appointment first.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help with quitting apps. You may want to consider Restarting first, and then a Reset if the issue persists:
Turn your iOS device off and on (restart) and reset
How to restart
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button on the top of your device until the red slider appears. Then drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.
How to reset
You should reset your device as a last resort and only if you can't restart it.
To reset, press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons for at least 10 seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

Try this:
1. Close all inactive apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

Ipad not recognized by itunes; apps shut off on ipad as soon as I open them

My ipad is not recognized in iTunes, when plugged into my computer. I can't back up or sync to my computer, but I have managed to back up to icloud, I think. Applications shut off within 20 seconds of opening them on my ipad. I think I need to reset my ipad but I'm just not getting that option when I plug it in to my computer and I'm worried about whether or not the icloud backup is sufficient. Thanks!

Try some basic troubleshooting before you restore your iPad.
First close all apps. In order to close apps, you have to drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to the app that you want to close and then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Next, reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
If that didn't help, try this. Reset all settings. You will not lose any data, but most of the device settings will have to be entered in the settings app again. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all Settings.
IF you really feel that you need to restore, and maybe you will have to, try this for help with the device not being seen by iTunes.

Since I ipdated photoshop CC 2014, my layers and brush panels (and others) will not stay open. AS soon as I open them, they close. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix this?

Trying to open my layers or brush panels in photoshop Cc 2014 and they won't stay open. They close as soon as they open. This started immediately following the latest update that I ran today.

I have tried all these steps into resolving certain apps closing as soon as I try to open them. Problem is the apps that are closing are often the ones I have paid for.

Exactly which driver did you downlaod and from where? By "GET STRAT", do you mean one of the Getting Started VIs? Error 5 means "NI-488: Command requires GPIB Controller to be System Controller." Are you using GPIB to control the instrument? If so, what type of board are you using and which version of VISA and NI-488? If the error only occurs on a read, try issuing the query from MAX and see if the error occurs there. In a couple of the Xantrex drivers I looked at, there seemed to be some fixed delays after a write and before a read. You might try increasing those values to see if that makes any difference.

If I closed Firefox p.e. for an Windows update) I will return in the same opened websites. Maybe in Firefox 3.6 was this normal, but ever since it´s terrible to close Firefox, because I must save every opened website. Most of the time I work with 20 or 30 opened websites (tabs). My usage: When Firefox starts show my home page, I have 13 tabs in a folder to be used as app-tab but frequently close all tabs if working on something else, then get them back by opening tabs in a folder and make them app-tabs. I do ask for the choice when when closing Firefox, but I can always use the History menu to bring back my tabs and windows from the last session. If I want more than just what was open at last session, I can next open "Recently closed Windows".

If they still do not show up, make sure hat you don't have content restrictions set that could prevent certain apps from showing up on your iPad. Settings>General>RestrictionsAllowed Content.
if you still don't see them, connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer and you should see them in the iPad mini screens on the right side of iTunes after the iPad has been selected under "devices" and when you are in the apps pane of iTunes.
