Most of the programs I have are registered to user and not to my name.

I'm having problem with the name of my Macbook when my name is used with certain programs (e.g. Mail, iTunes, iChat, etc.). It shows up as "User" instead of my name. I have gone to the system preferences and changed the account info to my name, but my programs still come up as "User." Has anyone else had this problem with their Macbooks?

I would very much like to get a solution to this crazy "feature". As you say, why on earth would I need to know that it was "I" who sent a message from "my" machine? I cannot find a way to change this.
Has anyone else got a solution, or can even say that their system also cannot display the receiver's name/address? Or is everyone satisfied with this?, and if so why?

35+ minute runtime for the program PAY004 Payroll Check Register

I hope you are doing fine day.
We need your urgent help.
We are on Peoplesoft HRMS Application Release 8.80 SP1 and PeopleTools 8.44. We use North America payroll for all our employees in North America.
We are experiencing 35+ minute runtime for the program PAY004 Payroll Check Register. This happens when user selects run id which is assigned to all companies, paygroup for the month of June 2008. It looks that the program PAY004 is picking up wrong index PSEPAY_CHECK for the record PAY_CHECK. When we force the program PAY004 via Oracle hint /*+ index(P1 PS0PAY_CHECK) */ then the program runs under 3 minutes.
Questions for you:
1. What is causing the above wrong index to the picked for the record PAY_CHECK in the program PAY004?
2. Where do we specify the default index for a record in Peoplesoft?
3. Is adding the hint the best solution?
Please reply ASAP.

Check, if you have the "Primary Only" option enabled. Then keywords will only be applied to the "Primary Image":
See: Keywords or ratings are applied only to one of the selected images - why?
Uncheck the little square button with the "1".

If you mean which computers that your account is authorised on then you can't, you can only see the count.
Have you had other computers in the past and/or updated or reinstalled the OS on your current computers without deauthorising them ?
As you have 5 computers authorised then you can log into your account on a computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option and 'deauthorise all' (which you can do once every 12 months) and you can then authorise/reauthorise the computers that you still have and need : authorising and deauthorising.

Yes, it doesn't work. I ran in safe mode. nothing changed. I uninstalled Mozilla firefox with only standard removal, no change. I finally uninstalled Mozilla with complete removal and reinstalled it, then it return to normal. Why does this happen? Thanks for your reply.

iCloud should still help you reduce some hard drive space. Just select "optimize" in the icloud tab in Mac Photo App preferences.
Granted, not the same as completely offloading your library to a back-up drive at your location.

Not all content types are available in all countries - in each country Apple can only sell what they are licensed to (and in some cases what a country's laws allows them to). A list of what is available where is shown on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3599

To Reset Firefox do the following:

Try this:
Sign out from the Creative Cloud app and Quit it (Quit option will be available after a few seconds).
Now move the following folders to desktop:
1) SLCache
Windows: OS Drive\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Mac: Library/Application Support/Adobe
2) SLStore
Windows: OS drive\ProgramData\Adobe
Mac: Library/Application Support/Adobe
3) OOBE
Windows: OS Drive\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe
Mac: /User/Library/Application Support/Adobe
Now launch Premiere Pro and sign in with your Adobe ID.
NOTE: Make sure your Anti Virus/Firewall is not blocking any Adobe activation servers. Alternately, you can also check your 'hosts' file for any changes.

Problem solved. Copied latest file of iTunes Library.itl from Previous iTunes Libraries and replaced it with the original in Music - iTunes-folder.

Most of the programs I have are registered to user and not to my name.
